I'm traveling...
Going on a cold path...
The path that leads to what I'm looking for...
But it seems like it's getting closer and closer...
Until I couldn't even see its faint shadow....

This matter suddenly popped into my head. When I realized it, I had already composed half the story.
So we tried writing some short stories.
(In case Jirod....or not?)

In the middle of a small snowstorm that was falling in the night, the wind was blowing snowflakes non-stop and sticking to my wool hat. I looked up at the sky, which was covered with gray clouds. The crates were joyfully sprinkling snowflakes like children playing a prank on each other. But I didn't enjoy it at all.
My white glove-clad hands were trembling, as was my mouth. I didn't know how far from my house I was now. It's dark here and the air is starting to get colder. All around me, there were only piles of white snow as far as the eye could see, as if it were an ice field.
...What I'm searching for and taking back, I'll probably never find again...
My breath became colder and colder, the steam turned into ice droplets that fell together with the snow. My vision began to blur and my legs became weaker and weaker until I lost my balance and fell to my knees on the road, now as slippery as the ice skating rink near my house.
I miss home but I can't go back.
My body didn't move anymore, so I fell down and buried my face in the snow. It was so cold that my face started to feel numb, but it was as soft as a pillow on my bed.
I haven't slept in a bed in a long time.
Oh, that's right, since December 22nd I have left home without saying goodbye to anyone. Until today The day I've been waiting for since the beginning of the year is when I'll get what I don't have. The day when the family will sit together Eat together and have fun together. The smiles on those faces were still in my heart but were very faint.
On December 25th, Christmas day I always dreamed that I was riding in a red sleigh. And fly in the sky and help Santa hand out gifts to the children. But it was only a dream.
And this is the truth.
The reality is that there is never a miracle.
I'm still lying on the white snow without a pillow. no sleigh Not even a present, I never once received what I wanted....
I closed my eyes and let my thoughts wander.....until white noise shone into my eyes....
Is it already morning? I thought to myself. Then I opened my eyes slowly, allowing my eyes to adjust to the light, but the white light I saw was not sunlight, but the light of a red sleigh parked in front of me. I slowly sat up and looked at it curiously. The sleigh said It was decorated with colorful shiny balls and long, fluffy bushes that wrapped all over the car.
I got up and went to playfully grab the balls until I heard something behind me blowing hot steam into the back of my neck.
“Wow!” When I turned around, I saw a deer. I almost jumped and kicked it. But stuck on that His neck had a bell that shone like real gold, enticing my eyes, and the pair of antlers on his head were artistically branched. “Show me the bell.”
When I asked, the deer backed up as if it had heard me and didn't want me to hold its bell.
“I'm sorry, Deer, you must be shocked,” I said. I don't know if it's actually audible or not, but it looks like it's bowing to me and walking back towards me in an adorable way.
The questionable point is What are the deer and the sleigh doing here? Aren't there any houses around here? Or maybe my eyesight is bad? Speaking of now, I'm looking for buildings around here. Now the storm was just slowly falling snow and it was much easier to see.
But even though I looked, I couldn't find anything. So I turned my attention back to the deer.
“Kids, why don't you go home? It's already late,” the voice of an uncle asked while I was petting the deer's head. It made both the deer and the person (must be both the person and the deer, right?) startled one after the other. So I searched for the source of the sound. In the dark, the figure of a fat uncle walked towards me, so I ran and hid behind the sled. But the deer walked towards that body instead.
“Who are you?” My hand subconsciously kneaded the bushes decorating the sleigh as I spoke. That uncle's shadow reminded me of...
Uncle Santa?
"Oh, Uncle, he's just someone from behind."
The man answered and walked out of the darkness, his shirt red. But it wasn't the same shirt as the person I was thinking of. But his hat shows his personality.
“Uncle Santa!” I shouted happily and approached him without hesitation. “Aren't you going to hand out presents?!”
“Ho ho ho, little one, I'm glad there are still people who remember me. But children like you should go to sleep.” He looked at me fondly. But suddenly his brow furrowed, "Eh? But where is my house?"
"I'm...lost." I answered honestly, but Uncle Santa's expression changed.
"Why did you run away from home? Like that, I'm already a bad child." When Uncle said this, it meant..
"I...I...want to come out and find the missing thing. What I asked for in the letter I sent to Uncle at the beginning of the year.." I didn't hesitate to tell the truth.
That's right, after the new year. I immediately sent a letter to the North Pole, writing down everything my troublesome little brother and I wanted, but Mom and Dad thought it was nonsense. And they forbade me from sending it away to waste money for fun, but we successfully prepared a plan to secretly leave the house and send it away.
“Then let me take you home, okay?” Uncle said and smiled at me before taking out a long piece of paper and reading some names. “I'm in Los Angeles. What are you doing up at the North Pole?”
“What?...North Pole??” Isn't it just like the place I just slept? Am I really going to travel as far as the North Pole? “You...are at the North Pole?” I asked again.
“That's right, come on, I won't be able to deliver the gifts in time.” In no time, Uncle Santa hurriedly walked up to open the low sleigh door for me and invited me up. The deer walked to the front of the sleigh and he opened the sleigh door. After I had finished stepping into the car, The sleigh was bigger and wider than I thought. There were presents wrapped in colorful paper and rolled up ribbons all over the cream-colored wooden floor. I sat and examined the contents from the holes. its shape
There were bicycles, bowls or something semi-spherical, books if I hadn't guessed, and many other things. Santa suddenly whistled something before he quickly sat down in the operator's seat in front of me.
Dozens of other deer ran out of the white mist and gathered in front of the sleigh. And then they lined up straight and elegantly and ran off together. Uncle Santa ordered me to fasten my seat belt next to the sleigh wall. So I rolled over in my seat and fastened my seat belt as instructed.
It was as if the sled was tilting up until I felt it and turned to look at the front of the sled as those deer were running up. It was not on a snow slope or snow mountain, but rather my feet were running in the cold white mist. I looked out of the sleigh with a shocked expression on my face..
..We are floating above the white ground. I am flying over the North Pole!...
My heart pounded in my chest and my head told me to push myself back into the sled.
Oh my god! The real Santa Claus is sitting in front. Make your reindeer run through the air to deliver presents on Christmas night! I smiled inwardly and thanked him silently. The cold wind was blowing hard against my face and the water vapor that was exhaling from my breath turned into tiny snowflakes floating in the air. The atmosphere was like riding a rollercoaster in winter with the sound of deer bells. The trembling while playing was so overwhelming!
"So, Uncle Santa, are you going to drop me off first, or are you going to hand out the presents first?" I said, shifting my body to look at him, curious to see what he was doing.
“Probably have to be dropped off before three or four houses.” He turned to tell me, glancing at the direction. “Alright, we've left the North Pole.”
I wanted to look up from the car again but was afraid of falling down so I only glanced from where I was sitting. But I found that I couldn't stop myself from getting up and looking.
The lights of the city at night spread across Europe like many fireflies swarming together to play in the dark green bushes. It is the charm of night time seen from the perspective of a flying bird. Hundreds of times more beautiful than looking at virtual maps on the internet.
“Wow,” I unconsciously exclaimed as I stretched out my face to look fully until the uncle in front turned to greet me.
"Aren't you afraid of falling?"
So I hurriedly sat back in the same position again.
“A little.” I smiled but shivered. “Then can I help Uncle distribute the things?”
"Um...Probably not, little one."
Uncle, what does this mean?
“I definitely won't make a mess!” I said in such a firm and serious tone that Uncle Santa had to look at him.
I'm The Face. Is it time to release a joke? ?But even then Uncle Santa still insisted that I not do it. Sigh~ My dream probably ends here. So I tried to negotiate several sentences, but the answer was always the same. So I stopped trying and focused on the scenery instead.
We didn't talk much and after a moment Uncle Santa spoke up.
“Alright, first place tonight.” He forced all 11 deer (all empty enough to count) to lower themselves into the sky of a country....
Okay, let's just post this for now. Hehe. I'll come back and finish it soon!!!
