Merthur Shortfic – The Prince’s Crown

One bright morning Merlin was not as bright as the sky. Because he had to clean up a room that was so messy that it looked like Prince Arthur of Camelot's garbage room.

“I disappeared for one day. How can you be this messy? Have past servants encountered anything like this? It's no wonder that there aren't any servants. Arthur, Arthur, having me protect you isn't enough. You still come to me to pick up this trash. But he still couldn't reach the storage shelf. Merlin turned to look at the large mirror. Then a strange thought popped into Merlin's head. He put down the things in his hand, leaving only the crown in his hand. Then he slowly looked left and right as if to make sure that there was no one in the room. besides him, he then took the crown in his hand and put it on his own head, stretching out his chest to look in the mirror.

“Ahem, I am Prince Merlin.” Merlin spun around in front of the mirror and spoke in a low, commanding voice.

“Huh, Arthur, I want to use the armor tomorrow. Go polish it for me. Oh, and don't forget to give the horse some water. And then polish my shoes,” Merlin said the words Arthur liked to say to him in the mirror. while laughing and laughing to himself

Arthur didn't intend to take issue with Merlin anyway. And the more he saw Merlin trying to hide his blushing face, the more it made Ah. Arthur's actions startled Merlin. Lifting his head, he looked at Arthur in front of him in surprise. But what Arthur responded to was Arthur's slightly amused and affectionate smile. And while Merlin was stunned Arthur reached up and untied Merlin's red scarf. and then wrapped it around his own neck instead

"Ah…Arthur," Merlin stammered.

"I will be your servant, Merlin," Arthur answered Merlin's question.

“Sir… you doing this would dishonor you,” Merlin asked, not understanding.

“I don't care. I'm just telling you. You may be just a servant in the eyes of others. But in my eyes you will always be my prince.” Arthur told Merlin the reason he had done this and raised his hand to ruffle a strand of hair that was covering the crown, causing Merlin to smile happily.

“You may be a noble prince to others, but to me you are Arthur. The idiot I fell in love with,” Merlin said as he raised his hand to adjust the scarf that was now resting on Arthur's neck.

Smiling, Arthur moved closer to Merlin to embrace him, and pressed his lips against Merlin's who didn't resist or panic in the slightest. Merlin only slowly closed his eyes and took in the touch of Arthur's lips. When Arthur saw Merlin's response, he began to open his mouth to kiss him. more deeply

Arthur didn't say anything and instead grabbed Merlin's upper arm to steady him and looked down at Merlin who was now hiding his face in his shirt.

His face was red from embarrassment. Even so, Arthur could tell from Merlin's shockingly red ears, and from the force of Merlin's grip on his shoulder, it was clear that the owner of his hands were lacking. How strong is it? Arthur still wanted to kiss Merlin but gave up. Because of this, the person in front of him would almost faint.

Arthur stood silently, allowing Merlin to rest for a moment. He raised his hand and rubbed Merlin's head. This caused Merlin to lift his still red face to look at Arthur. Making Arthur laugh softly in his throat. and he took the crown from Merlin's head and threw it on the bed. And he took off his scarf and wrapped it around Merlin.

"Keep cleaning your room, Merlin. And if you ever want to be a prince again, just tell me and I'll do it for you," Arthur teased Merlin. Along with walking out of the room When Merlin released him

Then Merlin was back in Arthur's messy room alone again. But I still didn't have enough strength to get up and collect my things. I just sat and took long, deep breaths.
