My name is Boy Kanpat or Boy Kan for short. I turned fourteen three days ago. I am a student at Kanungnitwittaya School. This school is a school in Lampang Province. My mother is from Lamphun but I was born and live with her in Lampang Province. But my father lives in Lam Luk Ka.

Of course my parents separated. Asked if I was a problem child? I think not because I feel like the way I live now is good. Just because I am living two lives doesn't mean that I lack the warmth of my father. Even though I only see my father two or three times a year, I feel like I always have him by my side.

My father would call me and my mother all the time asking about our well-being. Dad always gave me encouragement. Support everything I want to do. I never get tired of telling my story to him. And this is the beginning of my dream.

Today I woke up earlier than usual because it was the first day of school. That morning, the sky was clear, the cold wind was blowing, and I left the house happy. When I got to school, I hurriedly went to reserve a basketball hoop like every day before the school break. I have had a dream of being a basketball player since I was a child. I'm not as good at playing as other people.

But my diligence will definitely beat those who are already talented. I've been practicing every day since I bounced a basketball a thousand times a day. And then it gradually developed. But no one saw my efforts. Plus, people who were already good at playing insulted me and made fun of me. Sometimes I feel discouraged having to meet people like this.

But I have a father and mother who support me. This matter just became a small obstacle for me. No one can hinder my dreams. When I practice every day People started coming to play with me and teachers came to take more interest in me.

I'm a student who works hard at school. Seeing people crazy about sports like this makes my grades good. But seriously, if I don't study hard, my mother won't support this. My mother is a very disciplined person. I like reading more than playing sports. Must wake up at the time specified by mother. Eat on time But I would displease my mother by playing basketball.

And come home late at night. Mother doesn't understand me about this at all.

Every day when I have free time, I go play basketball with my friends in the morning, lunch, and after school. I play sports like this until it's my daily life. But today is not like every other day. When the coach of the school team came to talk to me about joining the school team. At that time, I felt so happy that I couldn't do anything.

In my mind at that time I felt that my dream was getting closer and closer. So I told the teacher that I would like to consult with my mother first and that I would give the answer tomorrow. The teacher smiled at me and said The teacher is waiting for us to come in.

I'm an athlete for the school. That evening, I immediately ran home to bring the news to my mother. When I got home, I hurriedly told my mother that the coach invited me to join the school sports team. She let me join. I want to be a basketball player. Mother made an expression of disapproval and said that what about studies? If your child joins a school team, you will not have time to read and will have to spend time practicing.

Mother said she didn't agree much. But I didn't stop dreaming, I continued. Mom, if you let me join the school team, I promise that I will study hard and hurry home to study as usual. After waiting for a while, a teacher walked in. He said to me, what are you doing with the students? I immediately replied that I was waiting for the coach of the school basketball team. The teacher replied to me, "Oh, please wait a little longer, students."

So I went to sit and wait in front of the teacher's room. Not long after the coach walked by. I ran up to say hello and said coach, Mom has put me on the school team. The coach said that he was happy to have her play on our school team. So this evening, after school, the teacher will be waiting for you on the basketball court. Hurry up and come down to practice. I agreed and walked away.

After class, I hurriedly packed up my things and walked quickly to the basketball court. The coach called everyone to sit together on the sidelines. The coach said everyone, today the teacher has a new kid to introduce. He is a student at our school in Mathayom 2. The teacher saw his ability to play basketball so he called him to be included in our school team.

Well, the boys came out to see the teacher. I was so excited that when the coach called me there were people looking at me. The coach said that the teacher asks everyone to help train and teach the younger ones. Everyone clapped their hands and said welcome to our school team. I smile until my face explodes. After that, the coach said to me that we will practice basketball every day after school until 7:00 p.m. Is that okay with you?

I said OK, coach. After that, the coach ordered everyone to disperse and practice. When it was time to go home, I hurriedly said goodbye to everyone and hurried home. When I arrived, my mother asked me how I was doing. Did you have fun? I replied that it was fun because it was something I liked to do. Mom called me to eat and then I hurried over.

Take a shower and read a book as I promised my mother I would read every day after returning from school. When I finished reading, I hurriedly packed up my things and went to bed in order to save my energy for basketball practice tomorrow.

I am very happy when I play or practice basketball because it is very fun. And I also want to be a good athlete on the school team. After practice finished, I hurried home as usual. Today I was very tired, so I hurriedly ate breakfast and went up to lie down to play. It was already morning when I woke up again.

I realized that I forgot to read the book yesterday. I thought to myself, I'll hurry back and read it today. That evening, after basketball practice finished, the coach called a meeting. The coach said we have a competition next week. Therefore, we will practice until 9 p.m. Everyone agreed and headed home. Today I was very tired, so I rushed home.

When I got there, Mom didn't say a word about my lack of reading yesterday. Today I didn't read it again as usual. The next morning, the teacher said in front of the class that students, in another two weeks our school will have mid-term exams. The teacher wants everyone to hurry up and turn in their work and pay more attention to studying.

That evening I went to basketball practice as usual. The coach walked up to me and told me that next week we have a basketball game and the teacher will let her start. I was so happy that I couldn't say anything, so I answered, "Yes." I told my mother the good news and she was happy too. Competition time was getting closer and closer and so was midterm exam time, but I chose to play basketball more than study hard.

When I sat and thought about it, I was worried because I was afraid I wouldn't play as well as the others. In the evening, I went to practice basketball as usual. The coach walked in and asked why the boys were making such sad faces. I replied that I was worried about the competition. I was afraid that I wouldn't play well, that I wouldn't play as well as the others.

When the athletes entered the field, everyone on the team gave encouragement to each other and the competition began.

The result was that our school team won. I'm the happiest in my life. But the next important thing is that in three days there is the midterm exam. And I hardly read any books at all. As time passed until the exam day, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to pass the exam, so I hurried to study at school. But I didn't have much time to read, so I only read a little.

When I entered the examination room, the teacher said that all students, I hope that all students will get good scores in the exam. It's important not to copy, kids. So I turned to my friend sitting next to the teacher and he turned to look at me. I didn't know what to do so I decided to mess up the whole exam and I messed up almost every subject. After the midterm exams are over, it's normal class time. The homeroom teacher would like to announce that in the next two weeks our school will hold a parent meeting activity.

The teacher therefore wants the students to bring the sand back to the parents as well. When the teacher finished speaking, he walked out. That evening, after basketball practice finished, I went home and showed my mother the signed acknowledgment form. Mom said to me that it was okay that she was going to a parents' meeting. Mother then signed the acknowledgment form on the form. The next morning in the classroom, each subject's teacher announced the test scores.

My score must not have been good at that time. I just thought that I would be very happy to pass the exam. My scores in some subjects passed and others failed. I knew that my grades this semester wouldn't be good, but I made up my mind. That evening, I hurriedly left school to go practice basketball. There were seniors in the team gathered together to talk about something, so I went in and asked the seniors what they were talking about.

The elders replied to me that when there are competitions and exams about test scores, the scores are always not good. How are the test scores? My test scores were not good at all. I studied a lot. The elders said to each other that it's better not to go and play basketball. I smiled and continued to practice basketball. After basketball practice finished, I returned home.

Mom asked me how my son's test scores were, so I was afraid so she replied that they hadn't been released yet. Mom then said, "Will you go to the parents' meeting at school with me this Saturday?" I immediately replied that I would go. The day of the parents' meeting arrived. Mom and I hurriedly got dressed early to go to school. When we arrived, the teacher handed out the exam results.

Mother looked at me and said why is your score so low? I was quiet, not daring to say anything. When it was time to start the meeting, the teacher kept talking about this and that until he talked about the behavior of the children at school. When it came to me The teacher said, "Mother, the boys are good students and very diligent." Since joining the school's sports team, teachers have noticed that his studies have dropped significantly.

The teacher therefore wanted the boys to study more intently. While returning home, mother was quiet the entire time, not saying anything. I also fell silent. My heart is not good, so I'm afraid that I won't be able to play basketball. When I got to the house, my mother said, "Why did you say that you would study hard like before?" Why did your exam results fall like this?

Do you remember what my mother said? She would have her child leave the school sports team first to study more. I made a sad face and then nodded and said, Mom, if my test scores are good next semester, I would like to return to the school team as usual. Mom said yes to me. Since that day, I have always studied hard.

When I got home, I concentrated on reading, but I didn't care about the television, I didn't care about the phone, I didn't care about anything. And I also went to take additional classes. But there were times when I secretly went to play basketball and I met the older guys on the team and they asked me why I was excluded from the school team. I replied that my mother let me out because I broke my promise to her about studying hard. Everyone said that you can do it and come back as a team again.

The coach is always there to give encouragement. As time passed until the final exam, I was very confident in this exam. I took the exam comfortably and without worry because I had studied thoroughly. After the exam scores were released, there was a meeting with parents. The teacher announced to the class that there was a student who was top in every subject. I thought to myself that he would definitely be the class leader.

But when the teacher announced the name, it turned out to be my name. I was so happy that I couldn't speak. I just smiled and thought to myself that I would be able to join the school team again. That evening, I hurried home and said to my mother, "Mother, I can do it. She has allowed me to return to the school sports team as usual." Mom agreed and smiled. She continued by saying that she would promise me again that she would study hard like before.

After that, I returned to the school team as usual. On the opening day of school in the evening, as usual, I went back to practice basketball on the court. Everyone applauded and expressed happiness to me that I was back on the school team. And I studied hard. Read a book every day as I promised my mother. Since that day, I have always been on the school team and my grades have not dropped at all.

And I still always ranked first in the class. Mom said to me that she was glad that you were able to keep the promise you made to me. But don't forget, if your child's grades drop a lot, mother will expel them immediately.
