"....Can I be fierce?"
At the company
chocolat bonbon
The president of the company was sitting at his desk. A thick figure in a black suit was concentrating on looking at an important document.
Knock Knock Knock The door was knocked before it opened.
“Mr. Hyukjae. Lunch." Personal secretary of the company president, attached to the position of 'girlfriend-to-be'.
“Thank you, Jongwoon-sama, please put it on that table,” Hyukjae said, eyes still on the document.
“Yes, don't forget to eat,” Yesung repeated because it was already 1 p.m. and his boss hadn't left his office since morning.
“Yes, thank you,” Hyukjae replied, and Jongwoon walked out of the room. Hyukjae smiled slightly before continuing with his work. Hyukjae continued to work and forgot to have free time. The secretary brought lunch for him to eat. As for Yesung, it was now time to finish work and Yesung was packing up his things and preparing to go home.
“How do you go home? Back with the president again?” Sungmin asked.
"I don't know. I saw he was busy and I didn't want to disturb him," Jongwoon said.
"You can send it to me," Kibum said.
"It's better not to disturb, Kibum," Jongwoon declined.
“Why is it that the president is flirting with you and I can't flirt with you?” Kibum's directness made Yesung unable to understand.
“Oh..it's not. Then I'll go say goodbye to Mr. Hyukjae first." Yesung said before knocking on the door and walking into Hyukjae's room.
"Uh...Mr. Hyojae, I'll be back." Yesung said.
"Okay, I'll sign the documents and I'll send them over," Hyukjae said.
“Don't worry, I'll go back with Kibum,” Yesung said. Hyukjae looked at the secretary's face before standing up and walking towards him quickly before wrapping his arms around his thin body loosely.
"Why do you have to go back with Kibum? I'm flirting with you, you know that." Hyukjae asked.
“Kibum is flirting with me too, why can't I get back with him?” Jongwoon protested.
“What did you say that Kibum flirted with you?” Hyukjae asked again.
"yes"
Knock, Knock, the door was knocked and closed and Kibum walked into the room before seeing a scene that didn't quite make sense.
"I'm sorry, Jongwoon...uh."
“I'm going to send the secretary away, you go back first,” Hyukjae said. Kibum was a little displeased but didn't argue any further.
“Let go of me, Mr. Hyukjae.” Jongwoon tried to remove Hyukjae's hand that was hugging himself.
“Why are you afraid that Kibum will misunderstand you?” Hyukjae said jokingly. Jongwoon pouted before turning towards the guest sofa. There were still sandwiches on the table that they had brought during the day.
“You didn't eat it? Can I be fierce?” Jongwoon asked.
"Ah...I was busy with work so I forgot about it," Hyukjae said before returning to his seat at his desk.
"Did you forget?...Can I be harsh? Your reasoning doesn't make any sense." Jongwoon began to frown.
"Don't be stressed, Secretary. I just forgot a little." Hyukjae started to put his things away but his hand brushed against the pen holder, causing the pens to fall everywhere.
“You weren't careful. Can I be fierce?” Jongwoon complained before helping Hyukjae clean up.
“Today you scolded me again.” Hyukjae laughed a little.
“Well, it's just a catchphrase of mine.” Jongin pursed his lips.
"I didn't say anything at all. Let's go, I'll give you a ride," Hyukjae said before wrapping his arms around his waist and walking towards the car. Jongwoon tried to remove it but was unsuccessful.
“Is it a human hand or an octopus?” Jongin murmured softly.
“What did you say?” Hyukjae asked.
“No,” Jonghoon said.
“Then get in the car.” Hyukjae opened the door for Jongwoon. before moving to the driver's position Hyukjae drove out of the company and asked the secretary,
"Are you hungry? Let's get something to eat," Hyukjae said.
“Then it's the same shop,” Jongwoon said. Hyukjae nodded before driving into his regular roadside noodle shop.
“Secretary, what should you eat?” Hyukjae asked.
“Small and dry like usual,” Jonghoon replied.
"Then I'll take two small ones," Hyukjae said before leading Jongwoon to sit at the table.
"I don't like the way you act close to Kibum," Hyukjae pointed out.
"Kibum is a coworker," Jongwoon said.
"But you're my 'private' secretary," Hyukjae protested.
“I have to coordinate with the head of marketing, Kibum,” Jonghoon argued.
"Well, I don't like him flirting with you."
“Maybe he doesn't like the fact that you're flirting with me, too,” Jong Un argued. Two small, dry bowls were served in front of him. Jong Un picked up his chopsticks before starting to eat.
"I don't like it, Jongwoon. I don't like it." Hyukjae started to cry. He was always like this when he was with Jongwoon, the two of them went from being a stern-faced president to being a five-year-old kid.
“You are being unreasonable. Can I be fierce?"
“You mustn't mess with Kibum or I'll fire him,” Hyukjae said smugly.
"Mr. Hyukjae!!"
"I don't know. If you're still that close to him, I'll definitely kick him out," Hyukjae said.
"If you fire him I will resign as well.” Jongwoon gave an ultimatum.
"Mr. Jongwoon!!"
“I just don't want anyone to mess with you. Because you don't belong to me yet. I'm afraid he'll steal you away,” Hyukjae said softly. But it made you feel excited.
"Mr. Hyukjae..."
“I just want to make sure I have the right to have your heart. Can you tell me that I still have that right? I've been flirting with you for two years now." Hyukjae narrowed his eyes.
“If I were to like Kibum, I wouldn't sit here and scold you for food or for you to take care of yourself like I do today,” Jongwoon said before lowering his head to hide his red face.
“What do you mean?” Hyukjae teasingly asked.
"crazy people! You already know, so if you still want me to tell you, then I'll be scolding you.” Jongun shouted.
“I will let you be fierce all my life, Jongwoon,” Hyukjae said before smiling at Jongwoon.
“Stop talking,” Jongin said in response to his embarrassment.
“I love you, Jongwoon,” Hyukjae said.
“Can I scold you?” Jongwoon asked.
"Why?"
“One thing, you make me shy. Second, you made me...love you."
