Who would have known that one piece of homework would change the relationship of two students forever...
Penpal
(not)real friends
After writing letters to each other throughout the past semester, it was time for students from both schools to meet pen pals that the Thai language teacher had assigned them to write in person. Last night Duddao was so excited to meet his pen pal that he couldn't sleep. Today Duddao came to school early as usual. Dujdao's school, which was the host, held a warm welcome.
After the head teacher gave the opening greeting to new friends, the teacher had the students from both schools sit together in a room as they wrote letters to each other and disperse to various points in the school that had been prepared. Dujdao's room was in the auditorium area.
“Alright!! After the teacher assigned each number to write a letter to each other, let's see who received the letter. Quickly raise your hand,” Teacher Wanida, Dujdao's Thai language teacher, greeted in a friendly way. He looked around at the children who were raising their hands excitedly.
“Alright kids, this time the teacher will have you line up according to numbers. We'll be able to meet new friends quickly at both schools." Teacher Somjai from the parallel school who sent letters to each other said with a smile. The children were busy lining up for a while. When we finished lining up, Teacher Wanida had everyone walk up to the person with the same number.
Duddao is getting excited about finding new friends... Mr. Number 13, a new friend who won't tell his name. As far as talking through letters like a star, I thought that my new friend would probably be a man. Because of the letter that my new friend wrote in response. Tarantino's answer to the letter was very irritating and his handwriting didn't look neat like a girl's.
Honestly, even if that person likes to annoy you a bit in your letters, it's okay. But this new friend is cute and sends gifts on occasion, like when he goes on a trip with his family. It was her birthday and I don't know how he knew. Dujdao feels warm and at ease every time he writes a letter to this friend. It can be said that he has become a part of Dujdao's life.
Because after sending a letter like a star, you almost sit and count the days until you get a reply. On days when you're lonely like a star, you get these letters that every time you read them, they always make you smile until you accidentally dream about them every night. this feeling Do they call it love?
Dujdao tried to look for a male friend who he thought might be that friend when he noticed the target. Duangdao took a deep breath to muster up his courage.
“Uh, hello,” the girl greeted the tall boy.
“We are like stars, number 13,” the girl said sheepishly.
"Hi, I'm Number 14. Nice to meet you." The young man greeted with a smile.
“As for young master number 13, he is over there,” the hedgehog said, pointing to a corner of the auditorium as the stars followed him.
"Thank you, nice to meet you too," Dujdao said, thanking his kind new friend. Before walking along the path that my new friend had told me
Young Master? That shows that he's probably an influential person. But what you can see in front of you is no one except a small woman with big round eyes, sitting and writing something on a bench next to the auditorium, which doesn't look like a young master at all... But I've gotten to this point, so what should I do?
“Excuse me, Mr. Number 13?” Dujdao said, his voice shaking a little with excitement.
The person in front of him raised his head and smiled a little like a star.
“I thought you couldn't find me like a star,” before laughing softly. while calling Duddao to sit together
"My name is Koi. Nice to meet you."
Dujdao was stunned and unable to say anything... The image of the man in her dreams that she had drawn disappeared in the blink of an eye as soon as Koi said that she was a pen pal who had been in contact with her all along. As for the name Mr. Noi, it came from She is the head of the room. Who helps clear up problems for friends in the room when something comes up.
"Koi, I'm sorry, Dao Dao must be disappointed that I'm not a man."
“Koi isn't wrong, it's Dao who is wrong. Think for yourself and go alone,” Dao replied softly.
“Nice to meet you, Koi Dao first.” Dujdao stood up. But he was held back by his wrist.
“Dao really doesn't remember Koi?”
Pictures of close friends from childhood come back to the memories of the stars next door who go everywhere. The friend who protected her from big, rowdy boys, the friend who gave up on everything to make her comfortable. Friends who grew up together Friends who have been together for more than ten years, friends who promised to be friends forever. Don't leave each other anywhere.
But in the end, he just left her and disappeared...
“When Koi disappeared at that time, Koi's father had just moved to a new job in another province. It was very sudden. I didn't say goodbye to anyone and Koi was sad too."
“I just transferred to a new school this year. I'm so happy to know that you're doing well, but we're at different schools. The more the teacher said that the two of our schools would write letters to each other, the more I was happy. Because this is a good opportunity for me to contact you again.”
“All the time we wrote letters to each other. Every feeling I wrote in the letter was true as a star.”
"I'm sorry that I can't be your friend forever like I promised, but I didn't get a star." Koi squatted down in front of him like a star. Grab Dao's two hands and hold them together.
“Star, I love you.”
If you were to ask Duddao's feelings right now, it would probably be something that is difficult to explain...
Disappointed that my new friend isn't like the man of my dreams...
Glad to meet another close friend...
Sad that he wouldn't be friends with her forever as promised... Because he feels for her more than a friend.
Confused that the person to whom you feel love is not a man...
But it feels good that he feels the same about her...
Koi took out the gift wrapper and handed it to Dua Dao. Dua Dao accepted it suspiciously. Koi stood up to his full height before extending his right hand and smiling.
"Nice to meet you, new friend. I'll see you again if I have a chance."
Like Dao remained silent until Koi, who was secretly observing, gave up and was about to walk away...
Hurry!!
Like a star hugging Koi from behind. Koi felt the wetness of tears seeping down her back even though she pretended to be strong. But she herself also had tears in her eyes.
"Why did you say you weren't friends?"
“If they were friends, they probably wouldn't really be friends.”
Writer talk :
Having said that, it's been a long time since the last time about 10,000 and 20,000... I'd like to ask, does anyone have experience writing letters like the one in the story? Raise your hand quickly... I was in Wright High School myself. I've written it before. But the teacher ordered me to write to the monk and ask for permission to use the place. Haha.
Actually, this story was originally conceived as a medium-sized plot, not short or long, about 4-5 endings, but after writing it, it wasn't good enough so it ended up being this plot. Once I had a short plot, I tried to compose it on time.
