"That was too close," Han muttered as he looked at Luke, who was bandaging the wound on his arm. “Damn, I told you not to go alone. Do you think the Imperials won't go there to guard you?” Even though he was about to complain, But the tone was not serious to the point of being angry. In fact, he was even smiling a little.
I think just me is enough of a gamble,” the bounty hunter continued.
"I know," Luke rolled his eyes. He knew that this matter of gambling and then going to the sword was Han's specialty, but he hoped that he didn't get infected by the bounty hunter in front of him. "But thank you for coming." That last sentence stuck out. Mumbling a little But it's not so soft that you can't hear it.
“Well, where are you going next? Do you want to go back to base?” he asked, walking to sit in the chair across from Luke. “Or do you want to stop somewhere first? The princess is giving you a long break these days.”
“No, it's better to go back to base.” Luke shook his head. “Next week there will be supplies distributed to the various bases. I want to practice the escort mission before the actual mission.”
"Ahhh," Han lifted his leg up and leaned on a nearby equipment crate. “Come on Chewie! This isn't even a crate of bombs." He turned to shout when Chewbacca walked in and complained to him from the break room before going to open a cabinet to get something to eat. "But who did you meet, kid?" Hunter. The bounty turned Imperial Resistance asked, looking at the wound on the arm of the man he'd picked up on Tatooine.
“Probably...Boba Fate,” Luke replied. “Green mask, green armor, white clothes, is that him?”
“Yes, that's Boba Fate.” Han sat up straighter this time. “Wait, Boba Fate? You're telling me you met Boba Fett and survived? Damn lucky, kid."
"good luck?"
“Of course,” Han replied, “that guy takes first place every bounty hunting season.”
“Then I'm lucky that Boba wanted to be captured alive rather than killed,” Luke swallowed. “Now I'm really glad I took this with me,” the young man said, glancing at the lightsaber hanging from his waist. Fighting the Empire was something he was determined to do. But sometimes you have to want to go back to your hometown, especially on the anniversary of your uncle and aunt's death.
Luke chose on the anniversary of his departure from Tatooine to return to his homeland. Even though many people warned him that the Imperials would likely be watching over him, Luke saw it as being too risky on Tatooine. The Imperials shouldn't have been keeping watch because they thought he wouldn't be reckless enough to return, and Luke was right. The Empire didn't send people there to watch over him, but instead sent a bounty hunter to find him, and the Empire probably wanted to investigate him because they had ordered his capture.
"Think of it another way. You're so hard to find that the Imperium must have the bounty hunters help you find it or else they'll try to get information from you." Han sat back down again. “Anyway, don't wander off alone again. This time, luckily, we only lost one fighter.”
"I know," Luke muttered. “Stop looking at me like a child.” His last sentence was softer, since he had survived. But lost the fighter that was piloting it and the Astromag that helped pilot the ship, but was optimistic. At least that Astromag wasn't Art2D2. Princess Leah wanted to use C3PO and Art2D2 on another mission so she didn't escape being blown up by Boba Fett. That router
“Younger than me,” Han replied in an annoyed tone before he turned to lie down and prepare to sleep while on the Millennium. Falcon traveling through a wormhole “Don't forget to put the first aid kit back in after use.”
"Yes"
They returned to base without incident. Leah greeted them, saying that they were very lucky to have made it back without running into the Imperials and scolding Luke for going out alone. Luke could only scratch. He nodded and said that next time he would be careful not to let something like this happen again. Han whistled, pretended he didn't know and walked out of the scene.
As for Luke, he went back to his room to change clothes and take a shower and get ready for bed. Tomorrow he had morning practice for his mission to protect the Imperial Resistance Supply Corps.
As Luke was getting ready to sleep, there was a sudden knock at the door. The boy raised his eyebrows before opening the door to see that it was Han standing against the wall with his legs crossed to one side in front of him. Luke, unsure of what the other person wanted, slightly tilted his head in question. And when Han didn't say anything, he spoke first.
"What's up?"
“There is something to talk about.”
Han answered but didn't continue.
"About what?"
“You didn't plan on inviting me in, did you kid?”
"Oh," Luke shrugged before backing out of the door. Sometimes he didn't really understand Han. The young man sat down on his own bed and extended his hand towards Han, "What's the matter?"
"Tomorrow I'll join the mission," Han said, sitting on the chair across from the other side of the bed. “Just now I asked the commander to take a route that I know well. It has often been used to smuggle illegal goods.”
"You look proud," Luke said sarcastically, not taking it seriously. Han turns around and smiles widely, indicating that he doesn't feel guilty about his previous livelihood.
“And there's one more thing.” Han held up his hand before Luke could ask if he had run out of things to say. It wasn't that Luke didn't like being with Han or anything, he was just sleepy and wanted to sleep. “Ah...yours...” the former smuggler said before tossing him a box that fit in the palm of his small hand.
“What is this?” Luke took the box and shook it slightly. It made a gurgling sound, but it didn't appear to be dangerous.
"A gift," Han replied. He slapped his knee before standing up. “Thought it might cheer you up after showing up to...um...to a place where good dreams are remembered. I'll go.”
With that, the other man walked out of the room and Luke shook the box before opening it and smiled when he saw that Han had given him some snacks. It's not an ordinary dessert, but it's a rare dessert and Luke really likes it.
I hope Han didn't steal it.
The boy thought about it as he put the wrapped snacks into his personal supply bag that he usually carried with him on missions before reaching out and turning off the lights and laying down to sleep.
The next day
The mission rehearsal had gone well and now they had reached their destination, which was another base on a planet that was 80 percent covered by water with only a small portion of the land, which was even land but still full. Go with small and large lakes.
They parked the ship here to refuel before preparing to return to home base the next day. Luke checked to make sure his crew was in good condition before heading out of the hangar to find Han. Outside the base due to the Millennium ship The Falcon was quite large and even getting into the parking garage here was difficult. So Han decides to park the ship outside instead.
"How are you?"
Luke asked, looking up at Han who was bending over in the engine bay, not answering. Instead, he turned and shouted to Chewie to help bring him engine parts.
“Hey, dinner in the cafeteria is ready,” Luke continued, climbing the stairs to meet him. “What are you doing here?”
“The gun is not very stable and tends to flicker when shot. So I came to see what was broken,” Han replied before poking his head into the opening he was working on. “That's it...see you, let's go eat first, kid. Bring dinner for me and Chewie.”
“We use it all the time.”
Luke rolled his eyes but slid off the ship and headed towards the cafeteria, half-heartedly wanting to leave Han alone. But on the other hand, he felt sorry for Chewie. After finishing eating, Luke took two boxes of rice to leave with the other party at the ship.
Han was closing the opening he had stabbed his head into earlier, looking like he was finishing up his work. Chewie happily turned to greet Luke when he saw that the boy had returned with food.
"Oh, right on time, kid."
“What did anyone say about you? This is Chewie's,” Luke replied in an annoyed tone as he handed Chewie a lunch box. Chewbacca laughed with delight. Han turned with his feet on his hips and looked at Luke.
“Come on.”
"Oh," Luke laughed, handing the other's lunch box to Han, who shook his head with a smile, before taking his own dinner and walking to sit on the center of his ship's roof, while Luke grabbed the railing and climbed up. go up to the other party
“The stars are beautiful,” Han said. Rice was in one hand and the other was pointing Luke at the many stars in the galaxy above. “Eating and looking at the stars isn't bad.”
"That's it," Luke hugged him and looked up at the sky. The weather at this base is cool and there is a gentle breeze.
They sat in silence for a moment until Han finished eating. Chewie said he was going to the bathroom before sliding off the roof of the Millennium Falcon. Luke and Han are the only two left.
“Here,” Han said, pointing at a star that shone somewhat brighter than his friend. “If I remember correctly, that is the second Dreh, a star with a very beautiful sea. If you have a vacation, are you interested in going on a trip together?”
"That's interesting." Luke turned to the other side. "So you know how to swim?"
"Come on, kid," Han shook his head. “That's a really bad joke for someone who's about to ask you out.”
“Nice,” Luke laughed. Before his voice softened and his eyes focused on the other's face, Han was not a good-looking person who stood out from the crowd. But he doesn't have a smooth face that blends in with the people around him. The other person has his own charm, and for Luke, he thinks that if Han cuts down on his annoyance and does things a little as he pleases, he'll be considered a very charming person. Ever
“Don't you think our faces are too close to each other?” Han said in a tone that sounded like he was joking but wasn't. Plus their faces are this close. Do you want to kiss me?” The last sentence was a joke, but Han didn't take his eyes off Luke. And his tone didn't show that he was joking at all.
"I want to stay," Luke muttered. Before Han pulled him closer, he was almost able to climb onto the other's lap. Their lips met in a half-hurry, Luke grabbed the other's shoulders while Han hugged his waist with one arm. His other arm and foot were planted to keep him from losing his balance.
"This wasn't the best kiss, but it wasn't bad," Han said as they pulled apart. As for Luke's cheeks, heat flashed at the other's words.
“I haven't had as much experience with people as you,” the young man muttered. His cheeks were red from the incident that had just happened before he tried to face the other person's wide smile.
“Do you want to go downstairs?” the taller man asked. He gestured towards the open entrance to the Millennium Falcon. “The beds in this base's sleeping quarters look nice, but if you want some privacy, I can block a room in the ship,” the other said with a sly smile.
"Chewie isn't going to have a heart attack, right?" Luke asked with a smile. Han laughs and slides off the roof, Luke following close behind.
Let's just say Chewie screams in shock and drops his toolbox with a loud thud when he enters the ship and sees Luke and Han kissing, oblivious to the world around them. Then Chewbacca swears that he will. Not sitting in the chair Luke was straddling Han's lap tonight. Luke and Han can only laugh before promising to take each other to a nice restaurant on a nearby planet as compensation.
