How he survived, no one but God knows.
But he was floating without a shelter and might have died if Newt hadn't found him first.
He was taken into hiding from MACUSA. The helpers were two MACUSA officers themselves.
He should be able to live a normal, happy life, right? But something doesn't want that to happen.
It's quite long, almost 10 pages, but because it ends in almost ten pages, I chose the short story category.
Please, readers, be patient. You can take a break if you're bored. Then come back and read more.

HORROR
The sky above New York was clear at night. There are no clouds, even small clouds of water vapor. The stars compete with each other, twinkling with light. which would probably be more clearly seen with the naked eye from the ground If there are no street lights to disturb your eyesight
On a long street stands the wooden church of the New Salem Charity Group. It stands out against the dark backdrop of the night with the lights shining from the windows. It was a small square hole that, from afar, looked like the eyeball of a church.
From the mezzanine balcony of the church A young man in a jet black suit that looked tighter than his size stood. Both hands gripped the railing and squeezed tightly until their joints turned white. The chest bounces up and down with rapid breathing. His eyes flashed with fear, reflecting what he saw below. On the wooden floor in the middle of the hall, where there should have been a wooden table full of pamphlets, stood.
Instead, there were four human figures, lying face down, all scattered but looking as if they were arranged in a neat manner.
The figure of a young woman with dark hair in a gray coat with a wide collar.
The body of the girl in the brown skirt was smooth. Her bun was frayed.
The body of a slender young man in a blue-green peacock feather coat.
The figure of a man in a long black coat A silver-gray scarf stretched out at his side.
A young boy pulls away from the edge of the balcony. Hurry down the stairs to the ground floor. Every step I took, I hoped that when I would reach the bottom floor Those figures will disappear.
But it's not.
Those bodies were still lying motionless on the ground. The young man didn't dare go in and take a look. He could only walk back and forth outside the group of people. Your eyes don't blink. A few tears welled up.
“Look, what have you done…” a voice sounded from across the hall. The young boy jumped back and looked up in shock. A figure of a woman in a dark blue skirt stood at the spot where the sound had come from, even though the lights were on throughout the room. But she seemed to have a dark shadow covering her upper body.
The young boy's breathing increased. Fear flooded in. Until it overflowed out of the corner of the eye as clear water. that flows silently down the contours of the face The young woman stepped forward. Every time you take a step, the dark shadow will slowly fade away. It moves away, revealing little details at a time. Until she stops walking The toes were far from the head of the black-haired female figure. Her face clearly revealed it.
Marylou stood tall, her expression calm. Like always she wanted someone to trust her. Her bob hair is neat and neat. Skin is radiant and youthful. The young man stepped back and was cornered by the church door. But he didn't escape. His mind was still concerned with those four still figures. It was only a second before he took his eyes from Marylou to the four figures on the ground.
Marylou's face suddenly rushed towards him. and stopped just at the tip of his nose, a few inches from the boy's face. enlarged and distorted His eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. Crazy eyes stared at him. Pale-gray skin covered with dark gray wounds crisscrossed across his face. The mouth was pale and purple, opening wide.
Saw neatly arranged teeth and a bruised tongue. Saliva stretched out in a stream. She screamed in his face.
“You killed them!”
Credence was startled. Until he had to hold onto the edge of the table to keep the chair from tipping over. But the heavy wooden chair only moved slightly. As the things on the table shook from the youth's force. The red wine in the cut glass splashed back and forth. It almost spilled on his hand. It's also good that nothing fell apart.
Credence tried to stay calm. He felt as if he had run a marathon. Even though the air was cool, beads of sweat appeared all over the face and made the clothes soaked and uncomfortable.
The young man was wearing a fine dinner suit that had been carefully tailored just for him. He sat on a thick red wooden chair with gold decorations. At the dining table, which was filled with a variety of food, both savory and sweet, it was as if there was a celebration. Whole baked chicken, a big bowl of salad, boiled corn mixed with butter. Baked ribs stuffed with fruit jelly
There was even a huge black forest cake that sat flawlessly on the stand. Credence looked around. White dining room decorated with dark maroon and gold looking for someone
“Mr. Graves?” the young man called out, not very loudly, hesitantly. But there was no reply. There was no one standing at the kitchen door. or entrance to the restaurant But there was a loud sound from the kitchen, snap, snap, snap, in a rhythm not too fast, not too slow.
“Is Mr. Graves in the kitchen?” The boy raised his voice even more. Then be quiet and wait to listen. But no one said anything. There was only a loud, steady sound. Credence gradually Move your chair away to stand up. Dazedness lingers in some thoughts. While walking towards the kitchen The young boy leaned forward to take a look.
The kitchen was empty. On the fireless gas stove stood a large, deep pot. On the kitchen counter, there was a wooden cutting board that was receiving the rhythmic chops of a kitchen knife. which is the source of the sound No one caught it. The knife just hovered over the cutting board and chopped the empty cutting board because the carrots it needed to chop were on the other side for the finished chopping. Credence frowned.
He understood that it was the act of casting a spell on a knife to make it work automatically without the need for human control. The young boy walked towards the pot. Then he reached out and touched the ear of the lid before pulling his hand back. It's still hot. show that previously There is also use of the kitchen.
Credence walked out of the kitchen with increasing uneasiness. He walked through the dining room and into the hall. Every window is covered with heavy curtains made of fine fabric and beautiful colors, so you can't see outside. Every light in the house was on. But the young man felt that it was not as bright as it should have been. And he heard a sound I could hear everything: the floors creaking, pipes rattling, clothes moving, the sound of my own heartbeat, except for the sound of another member who should have been in the house.
The young man walked across the hall to the living room opposite the dining room. In the large living room The fire in the fireplace crackled softly. It sounded lonely when Credence was alone. In this room, besides the large piano A set of living room sofas, a bookshelf, and a record player, and there was no one.
Credence left the living room. Go up the stairs leading up to the second floor. He walked past the pictures on the wall. It's mostly a landscape painting. If you look carefully, you'll see that the tops of the grass and the tops of the trees are swaying with the wind. But the boy didn't care.
“Mr. Graves, are you up here?” Credence shouted nervously. There was no reply. The young boy opened every door on the second floor.
The main bathroom is empty.
His own bedroom was empty.
The guest bedroom was empty.
Every time I found that each room was empty. Credence felt a pain in his chest as if his heart was being squeezed more and more. Until reaching the last room The master bedroom is Graves' room. The young man stood and looked uneasily, knocking loudly three times.
“Mr. Graves, sir. Are you in the room?” the young man said loudly. before pressing his ear to the door of the room There was no sound, completely silent, so he grabbed the knob and turned it to open the door. It's not locked.
Even Graves' bedroom was empty. Credence felt like he couldn't breathe. Anxiety began to turn into fear.
'Where has he gone? Because we fell asleep while waiting for him to cook? Is this a punishment? But we often fall asleep. He had never done this before. Is it a prank? Please let it be just a prank.’ The young man tried to think positively. He walked around his room looking for the owner of the room.
But there were no signs indicating where the owner of the room had gone. The private bathroom was empty as well. When there was no sign of any other life The young man decided to leave the room. Close the door properly. Then walked to the foot of the stairs. I intended to go look outside the house.
As soon as he stepped down the first flight of stairs, all the lights in the house went out. The whole house fell into darkness.
Credence suddenly stopped. His hand grabbed the railing and held it tight. Everything in front of me was completely dark because my eyes weren't used to it yet. The boy quickly realized that it was too dark. Even the lights from outside didn't shine in. Beads of sweat began to appear. While the young man was so scared he was breathing hard. The light came back again. But it was only a dim light.
From all the candles floating out to do their job It was as if it had been programmed to mean when the house was unnaturally without lights. Let it shine a light orange glow throughout the house.
It must be a very romantic atmosphere. With dozens of white wax candles Volume floating in the air A dim, flickering orange light poured down. If Graves were still alive But this was none other than him, Credence.
The young man squeezed the railing so tightly that his knuckles turned white. As he carefully stepped down the stairs again The feet had not yet reached the bottom floor. There was the sound of a clear piano coming from the living room where there had been no one before. Instead I felt happy because it probably meant Graves was back. But the young man was suspicious.
More uncomfortable than before Yet, there was no other choice but to see it with our own eyes.
The large black piano in the living room stood near the window on the left. No one was there playing music. It plays itself. Credence knew it was caused by magic, but he didn't like seeing so many things working on their own. Because there must be someone nearby, but this
Since I've been looking around the house, I haven't found anyone.
Suddenly, a rustling sound pierced through the sound of the piano. And the sound of fire crackling in the fireplace came from behind. Credence turned around to see his neck nearly sprained. What he saw made the boy hold his breath for a moment. Eyes wide with shock For a moment, happiness flickered in his eyes. But then ambiguity took its place.
The source of the sound came from a person standing next to the bookshelf across from the fireplace. a tall man Look good in a suit for dinner with your back turned. The sound of pages turning came from him. was the voice Credence heard. The piano still played a lazy song. The boy didn't notice that it had changed to playing a lullaby. The notes are not complicated. But it's really haunting.
“Mr. Graves?” the young man called across the room. The sound of the paper turning stopped. Some tension began to build in the boy's stomach. Is it strange for people who are cooking in the kitchen to suddenly come looking for a book during a power outage like this? “Are you looking for a cookbook?” the young man added when he saw that the other person was still quiet.
The soft sound of closing a book but can still be heard across the room The man slowly put the books back on the shelf.
“No,” he answered in his usual soft voice. Credence felt brain dead. Unable to find any words to ask. “Why don't you go back to the dining room? The food must be cold by now,” he continued, but didn't turn around. Credence thought that was good.
“I'm looking for you,” the boy replied, his voice softer.
“Looking for me?” The interlocutor's tone was politely suspicious.
“Well, you disappeared from the kitchen,” the boy said softly.
“Oh…” Graves sounded understanding. “I just got bored of cooking…” He slowly turned his head towards Credence. “...Let someone else come up.” He turned around at the end of his words.
Credence let out a high-pitched cry. Seeing what should have been Graves' face was blank. Without any facial equipment There was only a smooth piece of flesh-colored skin. The boy took a step back as the other man began to walk towards him. Until it crashed into the piano The force of the impact caused the cover of the piano to slam down so hard that a loud sound shook the whole area.
“Credence?” Graves said, a black spot appearing on his blank face. The flesh then twisted towards that point before expanding into a black hole on his face. The hole grew bigger and bigger. As Graves walked uneasily towards him The young boy burst into tears, took a breath, then mustered up all his courage and ran off to the side towards the living room entrance. through the hall
Credence didn't slow down as he rushed towards the door of the house. He threw himself and grabbed the knob to find it locked.
“Credence, you should go back to the dining room,” Graves' voice sounded from behind. The young man turned to look with tears streaming down his face. Found that he was already standing in the middle of the hall. The black hole in his face was like a black hole. Anvil without eyes But the boy felt like he was being stared at. Credence pounded and pulled the door like crazy.
But it didn't move even an inch. The young boy kicked the door hard. What happened was that he was hit by the force of his own reflection, causing him to bounce and stagger. Credence heard laughter behind him. He decided not to look and ran against the wall back into the dining room. Breaking through into the kitchen Suddenly, the knife that had been chopping without stopping slammed into his head.
The young man collapsed and barely escaped. Instead, the knife stuck into the back wall. Meanwhile, the drawers on the kitchen counter rattled. The boy quickly scrambled to his feet and pulled the knife away from the wall. before returning to the dining room again Just as the drawers jumped open, knives, forks, and kitchen utensils flew all over the kitchen.
Credence immediately pressed his back against the wall separating the dining room and kitchen. The sound of a sharp knife hitting the wall was heard behind him. The force of its impact was transmitted to him. The boy's heart raced in fear but relief that he had escaped the holes from those kitchen utensils.
The young man gasped, his hand gripping the knife tightly, looking straight ahead. collided with Graves, who was standing at the end of the dining table. Another side of the room Candlelight illuminates the beautifully arranged food on the table. The atmosphere would have been better if Graves didn't have a black hole in his face. Graves tilted his head slowly. Looks like he's suspicious
“What do you think you can do, Credence?” he asked with a polite sneer.
The young boy gulped. He probably couldn't do anything. He couldn't understand what was going on. All of this was as if it hadn't really happened.
“It was just a dream,” Credence said to himself in a whisper. But Graves heard every word clearly. He laughed. It was so nerve-wracking. Who can't see his mouth But I heard him laugh. It came from him.
“Prove it,” Gevres challenged.
Credence grabbed a two-handed knife. reach forward The boy's breathing became more and more rapid as his excitement increased. The pressure causes your ears to start ringing and dizziness. He turned the knife tip towards himself. Graves, who had tilted his head teasingly, immediately straightened his neck. Even though he didn't have a face, he could feel the tension on the other side.
“If you die, just wake up,” the young man told himself. Before closing his eyes tightly, he stabbed the knife into himself forcefully.
“His condition is getting worse,” said a soft voice with tension in his voice. It came from a tall, middle-aged man. Dressed in a white shirt with a black vest. He looks handsome, but when you look closely, His face and eyes were full of exhaustion. He was sitting on a red wooden chair in the dining room at the head of the table.
“We have to take him to England for treatment quickly.” Her voice was higher pitched because it was a woman's. Coming from a white woman Black untidy bob Her big black eyes met the middle-aged man's anxious eyes. She sat to his left.
“That's it, we can't wait any longer.” Another man in a blue and green peacock feather robe Sitting on the right side of an early middle-aged man. Opposite of young woman Speak in a slightly hoarse voice. And the accent is clearly different from the other two. It was a British accent, “Even though I really wanted my condition to get better first and then I would take him away.
But it's getting worse and worse like this. You just have to take it away as quickly as possible,” he concluded, as serious as the other two.
“The journey must be difficult. If he still has hallucinations like this,” Graves said solemnly. “A relapse occurred. He might hurt himself. or people on the boat.”
“Are you saying that he tried to stab himself with a knife, Mr. Graves?” the young woman asked in a soft voice to the middle-aged man sitting across from her.
“He thinks he's dreaming,” Graves replied. “Listen to what he said to himself before he took the knife. Good thing I was able to block the knife before it actually stabbed him.”
“Oh my god, I survived the incident at the train station. But it has to be like this…” The young woman raised her hand to cover her mouth. Sympathy clearly shines in his eyes.
“Yes, Tina. Moreover, he often wakes up in the middle of the night because of nightmares, even though I gave him dreamless sleep medicine. But he seems to still be dreaming.”
“About yesterday he said he had a dream. Did he fall asleep in the dining room?” the young Englishman observed.
“It was such a fleeting moment. There you go, Mr. Scamander. It wasn't even a good minute before he changed. I don't know what happened to him. But he definitely wasn't asleep and dreaming,” Graves insisted. Newt looked at the man in front of him carefully.
“With all due respect, Mr. Graves. I didn't mean to accuse you. But may I ask? Did you say or do anything to him?” Newt asked.
“Like?” Graves raised his eyebrows slightly.
“I know you are reluctant to let Credence recuperate with you. You might accidentally act in a way that makes Credence stressed or upset.”
“You probably won't forget. That aside from him (Credence) being attacked by Grindelwald. There's me too," Graves said flatly. “But I'm almost back to normal, so yes, I should take better care of him.” Tina looked back and forth between the two men, then interjected.
“We didn't mean it like that,” Tina said. Worried expression “I mean...because you agree that Credence shouldn't have gone through something like that in the subway, and you're, uh...a lot better after all of this. We have asked you to help us hide him. He was very weak right now and Newt still had to travel.
It wasn't right for him to be with Newt and I...as you know. Only you seem to have the strength to help hide him from MACUSA for a while, until he's strong enough to travel with Newt.”
“I understand Tina. And I promised to help myself.” Graves sighed.
“Even though he knows now that you, not Graves, hurt him. But being with someone who looks like the person who betrayed him It must have confused him quite a bit,” Newt muttered.
The three of them were silent, deep down they all knew that this was probably the most important factor that made Credence's condition worse.
“Despite the fact that I try to come and visit often,” Tina said.
“He gets better when you come,” Graves encouraged.
“Since his condition has gotten this bad. It's just that I have to take you to England." Newt said, looking up at the two of them. “We may need to make a lot of medicine. Because you may definitely use it while traveling a lot. Even if I hide him in my bag But leaving the country might cause him stress.”
“No problem with the medicine,” Tina replied, “but how do we tell him he has to leave the country soon without causing him even more stress?”
“You have to be the one to tell him, Tina,” Graves said, “because he's most relaxed with you.”
"I'll try," Tina admitted nervously.
"Alright, let's go see how he's doing." Newt cut the conversation off as it seemed to have come to a conclusion. The three of them got up. Because Newt was facing the entrance to the dining room. This caused the young man to see something that disappeared before his eyes as soon as it became aware that it was in Newt's field of vision.
The young Englishman furrowed his brows slightly. Because he remembers I remember the hem of that blue skirt. But he was probably just blind-eyed. Newt pulled up his chair and put it away. Then he followed Tina and Graves, who had already led the way out of the dining room.
When coming out of the dining room into a large hall with a staircase in the middle between the dining room and the living room. Newt was surprised when Graves and Tina stopped in the Great Hall. Don't go up the stairs. When he looked up, he followed the two of them up. So they found the cause that made them stuck down here.
Credence in gray silk pajamas stood in the middle of the stairs. He looked sleepy like a person who had just woken up.
“Credence, are you awake?” Tina stepped forward, smiling lightly in greeting. “We were just about to go up. Are you hungry? Do you want something to eat?” the woman said sweetly.
“...How long have I been asleep?” Credence asked hoarsely.
“Almost all day,” Tina replied.
Credence didn't say another word. He slowly walked down the stairs, looked at Tina, and then at Newt and Graves behind him.
“Hello Credence,” Newt greeted.
"Hi," Graves greeted shortly. Until he looked curt and stiff, it seemed like he was aware of it. But it was not fixed.
The two young men backed up to give Credence a place to walk. When he reached the bottom floor, the young man suddenly stopped walking. Even though there were only a few steps left to reach the floor. before looking back and forth between the three adults.
“Is something wrong?” the young man asked in a normal tone. But the three adults felt as if something unusual was about to happen.
"Uh, no, but did you have any dreams this time?" Tina invites us to talk and asks what everyone is wondering about.
“Sometimes,” Credence replied, although the three of them tried to keep their cool. But there are still a few symptoms coming out. Uncomfortableness builds silently.
“Do you want to tell me something after we finish eating?” Tina gestured to lead the way back into the dining room. But Credence didn't follow. She then stopped and turned to look at him in surprise.
Credence stood still. Looking straight ahead with blank eyes Under the eyes of three adults They saw a pale hand covered in gray wounds caress Credence's shoulder before disappearing behind him. With a soft, cold laugh.
The three adults moved to draw their wands almost simultaneously. But not before a huge shove sent the three of them flying across the hall. Credence's surface trembled before it shattered into a small mass. that gathered together to become a black mass like oil The young man's eyes were completely white and eyeless.
“That Salem woman. Aren't you already dead?” Graves hurriedly stood up. Wand in hand, ready.
"You're not even a ghost," Tina said, kneeling and tightening her wand. Newt turned and leaned against the door to get to his feet.
Credence didn't explode the Obscurus. It just floated around him like a shield. The young man was still standing on the stairs. Doesn't respond to anything
“If we try to put him to sleep, Will it work?” Graves questioned.
“Actually, it's not recommended. If it doesn't work right away it might make him even crazier,” Newt said.
“Don't use the curse yet,” Tina protested, recalling her days in the subway.
“Step back!” Credence suddenly shouted. All three startled. “Newt, Tina, you need to get away from him!!” Credence pointed at Graves. Tina and Newt turned to look at each other. Graves looked at the two of them in confusion. Then a glint of attainment flashed in the three people's eyes. Graves immediately ordered.
“He hasn't completely lost his mind yet. Tina tried to say—” Before he could finish his words, the wooden floor moved in waves from the bottom of the stairs, flowing towards the three of them. Then the plank exploded, shattering into pieces beneath their feet. The force of the explosion separated the three of them even further apart than before. The pieces of wood also cut into skin and clothes.
“He can control it? It's still not perfect.” Newt looked at Credence in wonder.
“Both of you, back off from Mr. Graves!!” Credence continued to shout, calling out to Newt and Tina.
“Credence, I'm on my way,” Tina responded, trying to calm Credence. But Credence didn't seem to hear. Shards of broken wood floated up everywhere. There's no time for doubt. The three of them shielded themselves from the shards of wood that flew indiscriminately. Immediately, the sound of the cement cracking pierced my senses. A long crack runs along the wall of the house.
Bricks and mortar chipped away but did not fall to the ground. It rushed to attack the elders. The main target appears to be Graves, who will fight hard. The other two were caught in the crossfire. But no one took their eyes off Credence again, as they saw a pale, scarred hand caress the boy's shoulder as if comforting him, before disappearing.
“Creedence!! Please stop!” Tina shouted over all the noise. But the young man didn't seem to hear. It was as if he had slipped into another world. Another world where Graves is a villain to him. “You're making us--” The woman had to leap to the side before she could finish speaking. Just as Newt and Graves collapsed to avoid the black mass coming their way.
Credence's body appeared among the three as the Obscurus shrank back into its host body. The young man stood in front of Graves. Acting like he was protecting Newt and Tina
"Don't hurt them," Credence said.
“No one is hurting anyone,” Graves said calmly. while casting a spell to ward off the pieces of wood and cement that were attacking him.
“Lie,” Credence said in a cold, decisive voice that he had never heard before. The three adults were stunned. “You've been lying all this time.”
“That's Grindelwald using Mr. Graves' appearance,” Tina explains. She understands that Credence is now hallucinating that Graves is the real one. Still Grindelwald in disguise
“No, Mr. Graves,” Credence said harshly. Newt and Tina exchanged glances with Graves. Graves' eyes were filled with confusion. The Obscurus' black, oily substance pushes Newt and Tina several steps away from Graves. Graves himself was lost to Credence behind the Obscurus.
Tina met Newt's eyes questioningly. Newt nodded in response. The pair decide they must cast a spell to calm Credence. It was as if Credence himself knew that he would be accidentally attacked from behind. The obscurus whirled and spun out in every direction. forcing Newt and Tina to duck into the living room unexpectedly
Credence then chooses to appear before Tina. A young woman points her wand at a young boy. But she didn't cast any spells. Because it was Credence who looked consciously looking back at her. His eyes weren't completely white. But it was the dark, dark eyes that looked into it. With eyes full of fear and questions It was as if Credence spoke to her without using a voice. Will it hurt him?
Tina blinked to dispel the sight. The boy took advantage of Tina's hesitation and grabbed the hand holding her wand. Newt panicked and pointed his wand at Credence, fearing Tina's danger. But then there was a pale hand. Filled with wounds and as cold as ice, it appeared from behind to cover his eyes.
“Shh,” the owner whispered into his ear. But Newt couldn't feel his breath at all. The young man quickly slapped the mysterious hand away and it easily disappeared along with Tina's loud screams. When I got my vision back The first thing he saw was Credence standing in front of him. The Obscurus circled his body in an orderly manner, as if the boy could control it at will.
Far behind Tina's body was lying face down on the ground. Her wand fell far away from her body.
“Credence,” Newt whispered pleadingly.
Credence said something. that can read lips It's okay now. But what Newt heard was a woman's laughter that sounded loudly in his ear before slowly fading away. Fading along with the young man's consciousness
Then everything fell into silence.
The morning air in winter can be said to be bright. Even though the sky has gray clouds lingering But there is still sunlight shining down for you to experience. But the beam of light was blocked by a curtain made of very fine and heavy cloth. A figure sat up and screamed.
Credence gasped. Sweaty and worn out. The boy shook the duvet off his body and jumped off the bed almost without thinking. Ignore shoes for walking around the house. He threw himself at the knob and pushed the door open. Hurry along the second floor until you reach the balcony above the main hall. Something caught my eye.
causing the young man to stop in his tracks Even if you don't want to look But I had to turn around and make sure. The youth's breath was suddenly snatched away.
The main hall was a mess. The wooden planks fell off the floor of the house and became grooved. The walls were broken and bricks and cement fragments were scattered all over the floor. What stole my breath was a figure lying motionless at the entrance to the dining room. If there is one body There must be two and three. The other two were definitely in the living room. young boy biting his lip Then he quickly rushed down the stairs.
Even if a piece of debris cuts your foot until it oozes blood Credence doesn't care. He stomped firmly on his past, towards that figure. Graves face down There were pieces of wood and cement all over him. The young man took a breath and gathered his courage. Then he bent down and reached out with trembling hands and turned the middle-aged man's body over so that he was lying on his back. Graves' face was pale but devoid of any Obscurus wounds.
Credence moaned softly in relief and fear. But it was only a matter of seconds. Because Graves' stomach had a large piece of sharp wood embedded in it. There were dried blood stains on the fabric and patches of dried blood on the floor. Credence lets out a sob. He broke away from Graves because he still had two others to prove.
The young boy staggered towards the living room with a glimmer of hope. His foot stumbled on something. When he looked down, he saw the bottom of a woman's foot. Looking after him was Tina who was lying face down, not knowing her fate. Credence made a choking sound in his throat. Looking to the left near the piano, there was another figure in a blue-green coat lying on its side.
In his hand, he held his wand loosely. That was Newt, who didn't know whether he was alive or dead. The young boy turned his back. Then he walked exhausted out into the main hall. Before he sat down amidst the debris, his heart shattered, tears flowed silently.
A familiar hand rubbed his shoulder comfortingly. Mouth so pale that it was purple, he whispered in his ear in a voice that he would never forget.
“It was just a bad dream.”
“No, ugh, it's not ugh,” the young boy sobbed.
“It was just a crazy dream, you idiot,” the voice said jokingly, as if the whole thing was a joke.
“No…huh…” Credence cried until he couldn't speak. Both hands and feet fell to the ground exhausted. Teardrops fell and burned on the ground. In the palm of his hand, the boy felt something. When he picked it up, he saw that it was a large, sharp piece of wood.
“It was all just a dream. And you need to wake up from it,” the voice said gently.
The young man sobbed, causing his hands to tremble, but he held the piece of wood firmly.
“You know how to wake up from a nightmare, right?” the whisper continued.
Credence firmly grabbed the piece of wood with both hands, stood up, and staggered towards the wall. Place the hand holding the plank firmly on the wall. Set the pointy side up.
“Yes,” the voice whispered pleasantly. “You have to die to wake up.”
Credence threw himself hard with his neck against the wood.
Thank you to all readers from my heart.
