ToBe Peaceful
It was a new city that had only existed for a short time, three or four years earlier. It's a strange city, a peaceful place that's exactly what it sounds like. Anyone from all over the world can come to this place just by sending a letter addressed to it. You'll be picked up at your desired time and within moments of arriving at your destination.
No matter how rich you are, Is the grandchild of the eldest. Or are you just an ordinary farmer's family? In the end, you'll end up here too.
It's strange because no matter how you try to locate it, You still don't know its location.
It was a city that wasn't even as big as a U.S. state. It only had one building. That is the Colosseum(
Colosseum)
It's big, but it's not just for sports. It was a strange Colosseum. The floor was covered with green grass with no gaps. It was full of colorful trees and flowers that were pleasing to the eye and a gentle fragrance hit your nose as soon as you stepped in. Each floor had many benches placed on each floor. The green grass gave a soft and smooth feeling as soon as you touched it.
It's a good place to relax....you probably think so....
But what a pity...it's not a place for the living to rest...
I stepped inside with him and we held each other's hands tightly. He carried me in there and turned around and smiled encouragingly, I smiled back at him as well. This is a beautiful and shady place. There are so many people here. It's surprising how many people come every day and at different times.
It is now late afternoon, the light is not very strong, and the weather is cool and comfortable. We walked to a bench and he sat me down in a beautiful cherry blossom tree.
“It's such a nice place.” I leaned my head on his shoulder and moaned happily.
“Yes, very beautiful, like in a fairy tale. You like it, right?” He tightened his grip on my waist.
“I'd like it if I could stay and watch it longer. It must be good.” I took a hard breath.
“If you like it, then we can watch it together forever,” he said, holding back his sobs.
"There's no such thing as forever... You'll have to meet a lot of people." I buried my head in his chest and he tightened his embrace on me.
“I love you.” I smiled and closed my eyes slowly.
"I love you too." I kissed his head softly.
"I can't stay with you forever...you know...you'll stay...while I...stop right here." I felt my shoulders begin to get wet. It was wet and his body was shaking.
“I love you,” he kept repeating that sentence over and over. Until I tried to build a strong wall, it broke and there were no good pieces.
"I..hug..still have time..to leave...hug" He wiped away the tears that were streaming down my face even though the tears were still all over his face. I wiped away his tears as well.
"You're such a crybaby," I laughed.
“You too,” he laughed.
“Thank you for making me want to continue living,” he said, raising my hand and slipping on the ring. It was an ordinary ring that didn't cost much. But I was able to shed tears.
“What, are you asking me to marry you?” I wiped away my tears. He gently kissed the tip of my ring finger and picked up a ring that was larger than the other one.
“Put it on me please. The ceremony is incomplete.” He laughed and grabbed his hand and put the ring on.
“Now that we're married, now the groom really has to kiss the bride, right?” He smiled until you could see the dimples on both cheeks. My eyes widened a little when I didn't think he would come like this. He held my face up and planted a kiss down. softly
“Thank you for making my life meaningful. Thank you for coming into my life,” I said. We hugged each other. He didn't let me go. Drowsiness began to cause me to close my eyes.
“Do what you want to do, I am what you have passed. Don't cling to me anymore. Today if you want to cry, cry. Tomorrow, if you want to cry or the next day you want to cry, you can. Time will be the thing that will heal you.” I took a deep breath.
“I'm going to be the past. You have to live in the present and the future. Fulfill your dreams. I'll wait and see if your bet on me comes true. I don't have to burn your entire car model collection, I really want to know what you'll do,” I said, teasing him. But it doesn't seem to make me laugh much.
“I love you.” Ah…he kept repeating the same sentence over and over.
“I love you as long as I have breath. My soul, my being, always loves you.” I drifted off to sleep as my body slowly disintegrated into dust.
The person he once embraced was now reduced to nothingness. He cried. until it became fluffy
Hours passed and he was still sitting there. Tears still flowed without any signs of stopping.
Building, building, building
The sound of shoes hitting the floor became louder every time the man approached.
“Excuse me, may I sit with you?” asked the man, a short man wearing a thick coat and a top hat. He nodded in response.
"You're such a nice person," the man said teasingly, sitting down next to him. The large hat obscured his face, making it impossible to see what the man looked like.
“This is probably yours.” The man held up a leather-gloved hand and opened it to reveal a small hidden ring.
“That person told me that he couldn't take this with him and wanted you to keep it.” The man in the coat placed the ring on his hand. He looked at it with pain in his eyes.
“Humans are born from nothingness. When they die, they return to nothingness.” On the man's face, there was a faint smile.
“Everyone who came here came for the same purpose so that they could be with their loved ones until the last moment. They all lost like you. Therefore we will heal each other. He's gone. He's no longer here, sir. That's the truth that you should know. You're still here. Make the most of the life you have." The man finished speaking and walked away.
“True, you are already in the past. I will live in the present and reach for tomorrow.” He smiled through tears as if sending it to those who are no longer in this world.
Colosseum
To Be Peaceful
The last place where those who stay and those who leave can spend time together, so it exists for this point....
So that those who will be leaving will have no worries...leave happily.
To comfort....heal those who will continue to live.
There was no ridicule or ridicule as everyone understood how painful it was to get through this time.
So if you can pass those times or not, come here. It will help both you and the person who is leaving. Wasn't it created for this reason?
The End
“Will it hurt?” I, a disembodied ghost standing in front of him, asked.
“I can't answer that,” replied a small man in a thick coat and a top hat covering his face and eyes.
We stood and talked in an open, white room. There was only an old wooden door behind the man.
"I want to go back." I still want to be with him longer. It's not like we had to die of an illness even though we had only recently met.
“Most people want to go back. But your time in that world is over. It's time to let go, sir." The man clasped his hands in front of him and tilted his head slightly.
"Can I ask you something?"
“Come on,” the man smiled.
"That Colosseum...what did the people who built it do it for?" I'm not sure if it's a good question, but if I knew it would help clear up a lot of doubts.
I saw him still. He loosened his clasped hands before laughing softly.
“It's just the redemption of a fool. For breaking a promise to a good human being." He forced out a smile.
"So...I think I'm ready." I took a deep breath before answering. He reached behind an old wooden door and opened it.
Inside is darkness Endlessly dark There was only an old, decayed wooden bridge hanging in the middle. It was so dark that I couldn't even see the other side of the bridge.
“Follow the path,” he said in a soft voice. I smiled before touching his shoulder.
“You...have redeemed yourself enough. You tell people to let go.” I said what was on my mind.
"And you...can you let him go yet?" I think it's time for him to forgive himself no matter what his past mistakes were. He remained silent and didn't say anything in response.
I turned to face the bridge in front of me and walked towards it. The sound of the door closing signaled that I couldn't go back.
"Hope to meet again."
