“We have 20 baby teeth.
And I only had 20 chances to meet her.”

Does anyone still remember the first baby tooth that fell out?
Many people may have forgotten that time. Yes…it is not painful for a child's baby teeth or two to fall out. It's more annoying than that, right? Different children and parents have different ways of dealing with it. Some people use their tongues to make it feel more ticklish, which I don't really understand why -_-;;
Some friends of mine choose to let their parents use a thread to pull it out of their mouths, cutting off the annoyance, or... 'be patient and wait for it to go away on its own'.
Normally, we have 20 baby teeth in total, right? And consider that we had to endure this situation 20 times as children, but it wasn't all bad. Actually…I secretly want my teeth to fall out quickly. Because once my tooth falls out...my first friend will come to my bedroom.
Ah...I have to preface this by saying that this is not a horror fic like you all imagine ^^;; That friend and I had the opportunity to meet twenty times in our lives. And I swear that twenty times in my life…it was the most beautiful memory of my childhood. She was the first and only friend I was willing to share candy with in exchange for keeping her company. That girl…
Likes to eat all kinds of desserts even though they keep telling me not to eat them. So I don't want to disobey her. I gave her all the candy and desserts every time we met. When she gets dessert, she smiles brighter than before. I love the smile that comes from those little mouths that suck on lollipops…it's cute every time I look at it.
I really wish I still had baby teeth left...because since that day I haven't seen her again. It's… It's been over ten years now that I haven't bought candy to wait for her to come to my room. My twenty baby teeth hold many stories about me and you. There will not be a day in those 20 days that I will forget you.
Especially the first day we met...
“You can go to sleep now, Jinyoung. I have to go to school early tomorrow.”
“I'm sick, Mom.” The little boy, no more than seven years old, furrowed his brows, clutching something he held tightly in his hand. While walking up the stairs to the bedroom as mother ordered
"Losing baby teeth isn't something to be used as an excuse for not having to go to school. -*- How many times do I have to have my mother tell me that it's natural?"
“But I don't want to go to school anymore. To have a bad tooth at my birthday party...it's embarrassing and I'm going to die.” Jinyoung mumbled as he loosened his grip. The small baby teeth were stained with pink gum and blood stains, causing those who looked at them to just twist their mouths and widen their eyes in displeasure. Because he couldn't imagine how such a disgusting looking organ had ever gotten into his mouth. Thinking about it makes me feel sick!
“It's not embarrassing, child. Your son is about to become an adult.” The person known as Mother smiled as he walked over and gently rubbed his naughty son's head. Jinyoung shook his head slightly and made a solemn expression when he saw his mother acting like he was still a child.
“But if I go to school, my friends will tease me. Baro Chinwoo, those two like to tease me.”
“Sinwoo and Baro also had their teeth fall out like this one ^^”
“And Sandeul…I don't want Sandeul to see. Do you think Sandeul will like me more when he sees me mature?” Jinyoung said as his face turned slightly red. Sandeul is a cute and gentle kid in class. And he was the only child who could talk to and be the most kind to Jinyoung from what the homeroom teacher had told him. It wasn't strange that Jinyoung felt a silent liking and admiration for this child.
“Sandeul must really like it ^^”
“But I have crooked teeth and am not handsome anymore.”
“Mom, I think you'd better hurry up and go to bed. It's almost 10 p.m. If you don't wake up for school tomorrow, the teacher will punish you." The beautiful mother cut in before sending her good son to bed with a final warning.
“Oh, don't forget to put your teeth under your pillow. Do as mother tells you, don't be stubborn.”
Crack!
The door slammed shut and his mother's figure walked away. A boy's bedroom decorated with various robots and dozens of military dolls was dark and silent at night. There was only a faint glow of starlight coming from the window with green curtains swaying in the wind.
The little boy sighed in frustration at not being able to convince his mother to consider canceling school tomorrow. His small hand stuffed the baby tooth that had fallen out under the pillow and handed it over as he jumped off the bed to look in the mirror to examine his face, which looked slightly different now that the white organ in his mouth had fallen out.
His brow furrowed as he saw the ugly gap at the edge of his mouth that didn't have permanent teeth to fill in yet, and he made a sullen face. The slender eyes automatically became clouded in thought.
“Sandeul must laugh when he sees this, Mom.”
“Here~ Please open the curtain here for me ^^”
The reflection in the mirror reflected the long, slender fox-like eyes that widened as he turned towards the source of the sweet, clear voice coming from the window. The sound of some wings fluttering as if hundreds of butterflies had entered his bedroom. But what the eyes saw in the darkness was not a butterfly as expected.
Even though he was only in second grade, Jinyoung could tell animals and insects apart. And when I knew that something that was struggling and struggling was a person…
A person with clear wings like a dragonfly… and trying to enter his room through his window.
“Are you talking to yourself? Come quickly and help Gongchan break through the curtain. Gongchan couldn't go inside. Gongchan's wings were stuck.
T^T”
The intruder begged in a sympathetic voice, frowning at him. Jinyoung gasped as he stared at the clear wings fluttering behind him, unable to look away.
“What are you? Mom…Mom, help me!!”
“Don't call Mom yet. Take Gongchan in first.
T_T”
“You're a weirdo. Why did you come into my room!?”
“Speaking is not cute at all -^- Gongchan isn't a freak. Gongchan is a Tooth Fairy.” The girl turned her mouth into a triangle and clung to the window sill of my room to prop herself up. But it was probably because the curtains flapped in the constant wind that her thin transparent wings were unable to break through the thick cloth.
“Tooth Fairy -_-? Wow… the tooth fairy that mother used to tell me stories about.” Jinyoung pursed his lips and walked closer to the window pane to examine the other little child nearby.
“Pull Gongchan up and open the curtains here for me -3-” The small hand that was holding onto the window reached out to me to help me lift my expression. I still haven't given up trying to ask about it.
“If you're going to come and take my teeth… I definitely won't pull you up.” Jinyoung looked at the clear face with round eyes that sparkled like marbles and decided to stick out his tongue. The other person's thin, pale pink lips were more upturned than before, along with a beautiful frown and a bewildered sound at him.
“Gongchan isn't just going to take his teeth. Gongchan will play with him and give Jinyoung new permanent teeth too ^0^”
“Ah~ Pull Gongchan up first. Gongchan will tell you everything ^^” His small chest-shaped mouth gave a friendly smile and his eyes narrowed like the shape of a pond. This allowed Jinyoung to see his new friend's brighter face more clearly than before. His sweet face is more cute than being called a good-looking child.
A bright smile and pink-red cheeks like cotton candy help make the face look brighter and more adorable than before. Her eyes were round and sparkling clear like crystal balls. She looked at him and made an adorable pleading face. The naughty boy who owned the room looked at the small figure waiting for his decision and sighed…
“Sigh…okay, tell me everything.”
“Promise ^0^” That girl suddenly extended her pinky finger towards me. This made it the first time I had ever touched her…that little hand was softer than I had originally thought and seemed to be even smaller than my hand. The owner of that smile still gives me a wry smile.
"Hold it." I handed my other hand out for the owner of the little body to hold. That made him smile even more and talk a lot.
“I got it~”
“Hmph,” I pulled with force, grabbing the curtain by the window and spreading it wider. It didn't take long for him to easily pull that light body up from the row of windows, with the other party's wings and organs still intact. But it looked like he was struggling a bit because I was exerting too much force, so we rolled over and spread out together on the bed, both of us.
“Ha~ So tired ><”
“I must be a tired person. I was the one who pulled you up -*-” I turned to the sweet-faced girl who was rolling around and laughing happily next to me.
“But Gongchan flew far away. Gongchan must be tired too.”
“Is your name Gongchan?”
"yes! ^^”
“Are you a tooth fairy?”
“Actually, Mother Gongchan said that I am a Tooth Fairy. But you can call it that ^^” Gongchan sat up and bounced on my bed cheerfully as he opened the underside of my pillow where the baby tooth that just fell out was.
“This is Jinyoung's tooth *0* Gongchan, can I keep it?”
"Oh, take it. I don't want to see such ugly things -_-^"
“I don't see anything ugly at all. Jinyoung's teeth are pretty. There's a bit of pink gum stuck here too. See? It's so cute I'm going to die ><”
“Wow, just because it's pink, do you think it's cute? Put it far away from my eyes.”
“(‘ ^ ‘)” Jinyoung swatted away Gongchan, who was holding up his teeth and looked away. The little man looked sadly at the teeth he held in his hand before putting them into the rainbow-colored bag he carried with him.
“Jinyoung doesn't like it when his teeth fall out, doesn't he?” Finally, the little man nudged the shoulder of the man who folded his arms and turned away and invited him to talk in a low voice. Jinyoung flicked his fierce, long, wide eyes at him.
"do not like"
“Why? If one tooth falls out then I get to see Gongchan once.”
“I don't want to see you. I get annoyed when I'm not handsome in front of Sandeul,” Jinyoung said directly, cutting off his annoyance. But Gongchan still smiled happily and crawled low on the mattress to take a closer look at his face. As he moved his clear eyes and small nose closer to his face.
“Nah…hey, coming out so late at night, doesn't your mother mind or something!? -_-*” Jinyoung moved away from the sweet face that was trying to stare at him intensely while avoiding his eyes.
“Hm…I already know (‘ ^ ‘)”
“Did you tell Mom that you were going to come out and pick my teeth?”
“Jinyoung isn't unattractive because he has crooked teeth. Jinyoung is not handsome because Jinyoung keeps frowning and refuses to smile.”
“Please try smiling at Gongchan ^^”
"no!! My teeth are missing. Put your hands away from my face, you weirdo -*-” Jinyoung swatted away Gongchan's soft hand that was holding his cheek. But this time, the other person didn't hold any grudges.
“It's not relevant at all. If you smile widely like this, everyone will like it. Gongchan will smile and show you as an example. Everyone says that when Gongchan smiles he is cute ^[]^”
“…” I stopped and stared at the bright face that was glowing and worth staring at. A small figure sat kissing Puk in front of me, tilting my head and bringing my face close to my face. Clear, round eyes that had now transformed into squinting like the shape of a pond. Cheeks puffy and youthful, like the color of candy. His small mouth when he smiles at me until I can see the small white fangs inside, it looks really good.
I can't deny that this girl smiles and looks as cute as other people say...
“Cute, right? Gongchan saw Jinyoung blush ^///^”
“Ah..um, hey! No, your fangs are really ugly. Oh..go away _ ;;”
"wow! Is that a lollipop? The rainbow colors are so pretty, Gongchan likes them *0*” Suddenly, a small, skinny figure crawled nonstop, changed focus, picked up a lollipop inserted into a glass at the head of my bed, came out and admired it, flipping it left and right in a big way. I really can't adjust my mood with this new friend in time.
“Why do you have to act so excited like you've never eaten that much?”
“Gongshan's land doesn't allow you to eat. Lollipops are bad for children's teeth. Gongchan had never seen a candy until he saw real lollipops in Jinyoung's room.” The person responded with a pout and turned back to admiring the rainbow lollipops. The clear wings behind him flapped rapidly as if they were encountering something amazing. “If you eat it, will you smile like the name says?
Gongchan, can I have some?”
“Take it, I brushed my teeth before bed.” Jinyoung squinted at the person rolling around on his bed. “Eat here for a while and then go back. Your mother probably doesn't mind…”
“That's right, it's taken a while for Gongchan to eat. Desserts have to be eaten every once in a while to make them more delicious, right?” The talkative person turned his chubby cheeks on the mattress and asked him. Jinyoung accidentally smiled.
“Haha, haven't you never eaten dessert? And who told you?”
“Gongchan thought to himself, it's like each baby tooth falling out. If it gets leaked often, it won't be exciting, right Jinyoung? We have to wait for it to fall off on its own one by one until there are twenty teeth. Each tooth that falls out has a different memory and feeling. Hmmmm~ >///< So sweet and delicious…Jinyoung, do you have another one?”
His small mouth continued to chatter nonstop as he sucked on a delicious rainbow-colored lollipop and smiled brightly and couldn't hide it. His thin, soft body turned and looked around the bed mischievously while sucking the same candy bar without stopping. Jinyoung smiled a little before laying down next to his new friend.
“If you like it, I will buy it for you next time.”
“Next time? Hmmmm… It's probably next month that Jinyoung's tooth will fall out again.” His pitch black eyes looked up at the ceiling in thought. He pulled out crayons and a small, colorful candy-shaped notebook from his bag to look at something.
“What are you looking at?” Jinyoung moved closer to his thin body and leaned over to look at the page that looked like a table of picture charts in a notebook. That cute face turned to look at his curious expression and laughed a bit as she spread out the notebook she was holding and shared it between them.
“Jinyoung's baby teeth chart. Look at this...next month another Jinyoung tooth will come out. Then you have to wait another three months. Now that means we'll meet nineteen more times.” Jinyoung suddenly began to like the sweet, clear voice that spoke softly in his ear. Or maybe it was because of the smile that came from that lollipop he gave him? It makes the other person look even more cute and bright when they smile.
“Nineteen times…?”
“Until Jinyoung is fifteen. Here it is written that Jinyoung's baby tooth will be the last to fall out.” The round finger pointed out to him the last space in the table before closing the book and smiling brightly, showing him his white teeth. “Let me see this much ^[]^”
“You stupid girl.”
“Gongchan isn't petty. Gongchan really can only show Jinyoung this much.” Her chin rested on his shoulder as she rubbed his face, begging for sympathy. “Can I give Gongchan a smile right now? It will probably be another month before Jinyoung's tooth breaks next time *^*”
“You jerk, I will use the same stupid method in return.”
“Jinyoung is a tease. You can't just give this first.
T^T”
Gongchan frowned, eyes wistful, and continued sucking on the old lollipop. Sharp, cunning eyes flashed before he made a deal.
“Well, if you don't come back and take it seriously, I'll just buy it and waste your money.”
“Gongchan will come back. Staying with him as friends and eating snacks and inviting Jinyoung to talk like today. Believe Gongchan, Gongchan has promised to come back to see Jinyoung nineteen more times…” A small pinky finger pulled his hand in. hook again The offended person rolled his eyes in a friendly manner.
“Don't you believe Gongchan?
U_U”
“You can try to believe it. But… how long is another month?” Being a child, Jinyoung couldn't count correctly. Gongchan smiled a little at his friend's words before teasingly purring.
“There are thirty days in a month. Jinyoung asks like this, does he want to see Gongchan quickly? ^^”
“Who said…I…would have told mom to buy the right snack on the right day? -_-; Next time you want to eat something sweet, just tell me?” Jinyoung pretended to change the subject and turned his eyes away from the clear face that blinked brightly in the other direction.
“Jinyoung, whatever you want to eat, just buy it. Gongchan likes to eat everything. Come another nineteen times, Gongchan will eat all the kinds of snacks in this world~” Gongchan stood up and spoke in a clear voice. “Gongchan has fulfilled his promise. Tomorrow Jinyoung's permanent teeth will come in. As for this tooth that fell out, Gongchan wants to take it home ^^”
“Are you leaving now?” Jinyoung looked at the small figure that had begun to flutter its wings once more, preparing to rise into the air, with a look of regret in his eyes. The little man still smiled at him as usual.
“We'll see each other in a month. Jinyoung also shouldn't be ashamed of his missing teeth. Smile often and you'll be handsome yourself. Sandeul will definitely like it.”
“Gongchan, go first. Don't peek, Jinyoung."
Gongchan then disappeared out of the window like he had first entered. I never knew where Gongchan's house was. Actually, it's not something I should ask, is it true? All I know is that after that day I kept asking my mother every day when one month would be up. I wandered around the dessert shop, contemplating for a long time what kind of desserts Gongchan would like.
What kind of snack has Gongchan probably never eaten? I even thought about how to make my teeth fall out quickly. I'm no longer ashamed of my bare teeth in front of Sandeul. And I discovered that smiling often actually makes me look more handsome...probably like that. Because now I have a lot of friends because I tried smiling as Gongchan often suggested. I guess Gongchan is right...
But even though I have many friends After all, I still have someone I look forward to playing with every night…a friend I've only had the chance to meet twenty times in my life. I give this friend my only special friend…
“Is this to the point where you have to remove the curtains and move your desk to work by the window and wait for Gongchan? ^^” The owner of the small, pearly white teeth smiled as brightly as ever when they met. The clear wings fluttered rapidly before landing on the edge of the window. I pushed up my glasses and looked up at the figure that refused to come into my room.
“Under the pillow as usual.”
“Gongchan already knows~”
"I saw that I didn't want to go get it."
“Gongchan wanted to ask Jinyoung first what he did to fall down the stairs and break his teeth like that. Are you distraught thinking about Gongchan?” The clear voice laughed and turned around to look at me, who was writing equation formulas in the exercises to prepare for the 7th grade entrance exam, her face dark and serious.
"I'm busy. I'm concentrating, can't you see?" I said harshly, avoiding the topic that I had to answer, causing the people waiting to listen to pout. You probably don't know how cute and adorable it looks when you do that.
“Jinyoung is too stressed. Jinyoung hasn't been very cheerful lately. Aren't you feeling well?" A small hand suddenly reached out to test the temperature on my forehead, causing me to flinch slightly. Before he could think of anything, a gruff voice took over.
“I have to take the entrance exam for Grade 7 at this school, Gongchan. Who would go about their life playing around and smiling cheerfully like you?”
“Did you see that it was fierce again? And why do I have to say that Gongchan slapped me at the end of the sentence? I don't know.” Her beautiful eyebrows looked annoyed and she used her sweet round eyes to stare at my face analytically. I pretended to be indifferent and looked past it, even though I really wanted to talk to him like crazy.
I think it's going to be bad...the older I get, the less my baby teeth will fall out. It takes a longer time for permanent teeth to emerge. Sometimes it would be nearly a year before I'd see someone else's bright, smiling face pop up to say hello and help me open the window. Maybe waiting for baby teeth to fall out naturally isn't always the least painful method.
“We have known each other for five years. Gongchan has never seen Jinyoung look this stressed before,” Gongchan said as he entered the room and went to pick up Jinyoung's baby teeth and put them in a rainbow-colored bag like usual.
“I'm grown up.”
“Didn't Gongchan grow up along with Jinyoung? I don't see Gongchan being as stupid as Jinyoung. I don't know what's wrong with Jinyoung these days. He tends to make a face like he's been punched when he sees Gongchan. People really come to play with us.”
With a clear voice, she snorted and dropped down onto his bed as usual. His hand grabbed all the Lego robots that were scattered around the room and played with them as he was accustomed to. The slender-eyed person turned to look at the bright, sullen face playing alone on the bed before secretly smiling, getting up from the book table, walking over to the bed and picking up something, unpacking the paper and handing it over.
“Ah, so I can stop talking so much while I read.”
“Does Jinyoung think that Gongchan is a troublemaker? -^-”
“Where do you say you've grown up? I gave you some sweets and you still come to argue with me in a loud voice.” The person said, making a harsh sound to cover up his laughter when he saw his clear eyes that had begun to show mischief, seeming to be truly angry at him. But no matter how annoyed he was, his little hand still grabbed the chocolate packet that he offered to bite and chew without stopping his mouth.
“Gongchan is two years younger than Jinyoung. Jinyoung has to be an adult first ^^” When he gets dessert in his mouth, it's like being a troublemaker who can reduce his anger to a certain level. Jinyoung took off his glasses and lay down on the bed to relax himself a bit. I've been studying for several hours to prepare for the exam and it would be nice to rest my eyes for a moment.
“Is it more delicious than the last time I bought it?”
“Um >< This one is sweeter, not as bitter as the one from last year. But how did Jinyoung choose to taste it? Isn't your fear of tooth decay taking effect?" Gongchan asked curiously. Jinyoung once told me that he had two cavities in his teeth. Therefore, I can't eat very sweet chocolate brands. When he bought it for Gongchan when his tooth fell out last year, the troublemaker complained loudly that the bitter chocolate snack was not as delicious as she had heard. This time, he had to go tasting at various dessert shops to buy a taste that would satisfy the people who had complained about it.
“I didn't choose to taste it myself. Let Sandeul be the one to choose and taste it. If Sandeul likes it, it probably suits your taste.” The tight-lipped man refused to answer. The wide-eyed child lying next to him nodded, easily convinced, before asking how he was doing.
“So…has Jinyoung asked Sandeul to be his girlfriend now?”
“Why are you asking about this?” Jinyoung said, sounding annoyed.
“Maybe we won't see each other anymore. Jinyoung had to go to another school. Sandeul has to transfer to another school, right?” Gongchan turned to look at the person sleeping next to him with a sympathetic look in his eyes. “If I told him that someone had a crush on him since first grade, Gongchan would be very happy.”
“Act like you know, a kid like you already knows love!? It's none of my business when I confess. Can you stop pretending like you know me well enough to dictate other people's lives? I'm starting to get annoyed." The older one started to shout. As a result, some people who were quietly eating chocolate with bitter eyes had to sit up and purse their beautiful, full lips that were stained with sweets. Looked at him with repentant eyes when he said that.
“Gongchan just wishes well for Jinyoung. Why do you have to scold Gongchan for this matter?”
“Well, you...well, you like to act like a mess, and I can't help but be annoyed -*-” Jinyoung pursed his lips and looked at his clear face that was flushed red and his eyes watering with a veil of tears that were stuck with him. feel a little guilty Because I'm starting to enter my teenage years, it's harder than before to control my emotions and stop being impulsive.
When he realized it again, it turned out that he had raised his voice loudly and scolded the other person until he started crying. Gong Chan Shik bit his lip in regret when he heard that sentence come out of the other person's mouth.
'Did Jinyoung say that he was annoyed? Now Gong Chan Shik has become an annoying child causing chaos in Jung Jin Young's life, right…'
“Why doesn't Gongchan know what love is like? It's Jinyoung who never knew anything and still came to say that Gongchan is the most cruel, huh.” Her soft white arms wiped away the tears from her pink, blood-stained cheeks when she heard words from someone else who had hurt her own feelings so much.
“...Wait..wait. I'm not saying you're like that…”
“Give back the chocolate. Gongchan doesn't want to eat anymore! Later, you don't have to buy it for Gongchan again. Please invite Jinyoung to buy it and confess your love to Sandeul.” A hand threw the chocolate he had chosen for him at him before standing up and walking away, wiping away his tears. But Jinyoung still grabbed the small wrist in time.
“What do you mean you won't let me buy it for you? You won't come back to eat snacks in this room, right?” Those long, slender eyes that had become tougher when they were in their teens stared at his sweet face. The little man sniffled hard and said that he couldn't hold it back.
“Gongchan is not a child anymore. Stop bringing snacks to lure Gongchan. Don't think that Gongchan doesn't know that Jinyoung has bought Gongchan snacks every time for the past five years because Jinyoung doesn't have any friends to play with. So I had to take snacks as a hostage to lure Gongchan back to play with me.”
“Gongchan came back these five years because Gongchan wanted to play with Jinyoung. Gongchan always wishes the best for Jinyoung, even though Jinyoung likes to be harsh and takes advantage of Gongchan every time. But Gongchan likes everything like this. Gongchan wants Jinyoung to be like before…”
The little man let out a loud cry as he used the back of his hand to wipe away the tears that were falling down. He doesn't even know what Jinyoung has done wrong lately to make him scowl and scold him. Talking together, almost counting the words every time we meet, rarely making eye contact, refusing to look at his face as if disgusted and bored, not wanting to see his full face anymore.
Actually, it was because of the reason that he was annoying to Jinyoung…
“I can't go back to the way I was before like you asked.”
“Everything has changed now. I can't be the same as you want me to be.” Long eyes looked away before getting up and sitting at the same writing desk, not paying any attention to Gong Chan Shik who was crying. Gongchan looked at the cold man doing his homework silently before nodding in understanding.
“Jinyoung must be annoyed with Gongchan, so…hehe, Gongchan can come back. Jinyoung won't have to have people bother him again.”
“Have fun growing up like Jinyoung wanted you to,” a clear voice said one last time before disappearing from the window as usual. It took a long time before those long, sharp eyes could finally look away from the book. The bridge of his nose was high and he let out a warm breath before looking at the bed where a half-bitten chocolate bar lay in a pile.
In spite of the fact that I had intended to go from shop to shop and choose to taste for myself. Why didn't you just tell her directly? Just when everything is in this uncomfortable state, everything turns out to be terrible.
How can I tell you how annoyed he was after all these years of being able to stare into those round, sparkling eyes that were as clear as crystal balls less than before? Just hearing the sweet little voice that invites you to talk here and there becomes less and less confusing in your heart. Just being less close to each other made him so distracted that he stumbled and tripped down the stairs and broke his tooth like this.
He only thought about how long he would have to wait for another person to come. As he entered his teenage years, he became more certain that in his heart there had been no one named Sandeul for a long time. But it turned out to be a mischievous girl who completely replaced it. The mischievous girl that he felt connected to even though he had only met and talked closely with her less than twenty times….
Sometimes waiting is as difficult as growing up. Even though this time it's already the nineteenth baby tooth that has fallen out, it still makes you feel upset about talking about other people. You're the messed up bastard who never knew anything. It will also come that I was cruel...so it didn't end as beautifully as I had thought.
When will I wait for myself and that mess to grow up? Everything may get better on its own...the best way is just to wait...wait for the next tooth to fall out on its own.
[Gongchan’s Part]
Today is the day Jinyoung's twentieth tooth fell out. After nearly three years since that day,
And look…!!
T^T
How can I not be annoyed when Jinyoung's tooth history card says...
'Twenty baby tooth He dropped out because of a fight and argument with Baro and Shinwoo. The cause was a gambling challenge to get Lee Sandeul to be his girlfriend.'
Hey, Jinyoung is crazy! Probably going to confess my love like I said from that day.
T^T
I'm telling you that I'm very mature and like to act like I'm worried every time a tooth falls out like this. I'm going to fall down the stairs. I'll get punched in the mouth by a football player. And when I asked because I was worried, I got annoyed again. We haven't seen each other for three years. No one is going to cause annoyance as we please. -^-
How long must we hide by the window like this? Don't tell me you don't dare to face him like that, Gongchan.
T[]T
He had forgotten all about it… Memories of less than twenty times, who were superficially plastered when he was a child like that, who would care about them? Don't think too crazy about yourself! Did you see that even the lights in the room were turned off and didn't welcome us? Until now, he probably slept soundly and didn't know anything in the bed. The most crazy thing is that people don't know anything.
Can't even come out and show my face a little.
T_T
The original window still had no curtains attached. But it might be because the owner of the room is probably too lazy to keep it as it was before. Two long, slender white people walked closer to the bed where a tall young man lay wrapped in a blanket, breathing faintly and unconsciously. Both slender eyelids were completely asleep, not even aware of the visitor's arrival.
Gongchan slowly bent down to look at his handsome face, which looked sharper and more defined than it had been three years since he last saw him, giving him relief from his thoughts. Light-colored, wavy, curved lips rarely reveal a smile to anyone. Thick eyebrows that looked slightly relaxed and not knotted, slightly different from normal when sleeping. Long, slender eyes that would still look as cunning and teasing as before once they opened their lids…so it was better to quickly put your teeth under the pillow and run away before he knew he was awake.
His small hand reached under the soft white pillow that his strong neck was using to support him as gently as he could. But no matter how hard I tried to look for the last baby tooth I wanted, I still couldn't find it until my voice was clear and I had to moan softly.
“Where do you keep it? I've been looking for it for a long time and haven't been able to find it.”
“Are you looking for this?”
"Huh, that's right. I don't know where to put it...Wah wah~
O///O”
Thump!
The small body's voice exclaimed when the wrist that was reaching into the pillow was pulled to lie down on the same soft bed by someone with all their might before they cried out in pain. The tall figure of the person pretending to be asleep hurriedly turned over and used his arms to block the thin figure lying beneath him, preventing him from escaping immediately.
"I haven't seen you in a long time, you troublemaker ^^"
“Let go of Gongchan! Gongchan just came to get Jinyoung's last baby tooth and then Gongchan will go back. Let him go~ >[]<” Gongchan struggled nonstop and couldn't get anywhere because Jinyoung was wrapped in a blanket. Like a chrysalis, locked in every way until unable to escape from the strong embrace that held him.
“We haven't seen each other for a long time, but we still talk a lot and smile as well as ever,” said a young, young voice, laughing before holding both of the hands that were attacking him back in place and then leaning down to stare into the same pair of clear eyes. She was shyly avoiding his dazzling gaze.
“Jinyoung is just as cunning as ever. You're so annoyed with Gongchan. Why did you come to hold Gongchan ><"
“Hey~ People who haven't seen each other for a long time, don't you think to say hello and ask about each other's well-being? If you make a fuss, just one child will go, it will be very noisy.”
“Gongchan, you don't have to ask, Gongchan knows. Jinyoung's wound hurts a lot from being punched and his teeth fell out. Will we succeed in stealing Sandeul from the bet and have Gongchan ask like this? -^-*” The sweet face that hadn't been seen for many years became more beautiful and bright as she entered adulthood. But now the soft, thin petals of his mouth are curling when he utters sarcastic words, making it seem a bit at odds with the bright beauty on his face.
“You know everything about me :) but I don't know everything and I don't know the truth…” Jinyoung trailed off in a long, irritated voice. Gongchan grunted in annoyance.
“Gongchan doesn't want to know!”
“I didn't bet on Sandeul. Shinwoo and Baroman misunderstood each other so they came to attack me. Sandeul likes to hang out with kids from another school...” Jinyoung explained with a smile, tightening his grip on his thin body under the blankets.
“Good, now you can act like an adult and satisfy Jinyoung. There were fights with other people, like teenagers. Jinyoung must be sad that Sandeul doesn't like himself very much, right? -^-” His thin, curved lips lifted up arrogantly, refusing to turn to look at him so he could waver like he had when he was little. As he grew up, the sting was more powerful than before, really like he thought.
“Good, you look a lot more mature yourself coming back this time. It has changed a lot from when we met three years ago.”
“Gongchan hasn't changed. Gongchan hasn't changed in behavior like Jinyoung. Don't take Gongshan together.”
“But you still like me the same way, right?”
“Look into my eyes and answer me honestly. Your eyes and your heart beating...they can't lie to me ^^” Jinyoung lowered his head and asked closer until he could smell the familiar scent of a small child wafting from the person beneath him. Her cute face became so hot and pink that when anyone looked at it, they couldn't help but laugh.
The little heart that was wrapped with a thin body snuggling under the blanket was pounding so hard that Jung Jinyoung could easily feel it. The clear, round eyes darted back and forth, refusing to stare directly at his face, causing the tall man to know the answer immediately.
“Please..let go of Gongchan (.///.)” A small, sweet voice protested boldly.
“Why did you come back here again? I want an answer from you that is truthful…”
“Why would Jinyoung want to know? You know, Jinyoung never understood it.”
“I want to know if it matches the answer I'm thinking right now.”
“…” Jinyoung gently removed the soft strands of hair that were covering the long, thick eyelashes that decorated clear eyes from his face and asked in a serious tone. Her clear face turned around in his embrace before she reluctantly pursed her lips and spoke.
“Gong…Gongchan came to pick up the last baby tooth. Gongchan will be gone in a moment.” Her beautiful eyes welled up with glistening tears as she turned away from his worried gaze.
“So…that doesn't match the answer I thought.” Jinyoung muttered and relaxed the embrace a little more comfortably so as not to make the other person feel uncomfortable.
“Um…it's nothing like before. Just like Jinyoung had told Gongchan before. Please give that tooth to Gongchan,” a clear voice said sadly. Jinyoung nodded timidly before reaching out and picking up the last tooth he had secretly kept on the headboard, stuffing it into his pretty hands and clenching them together.
“But you forgot one thing.”
“If you keep my last tooth like this, why don't you take the snacks I prepared for you?”
“It's okay, Gongchan doesn't want to...uh.”
His wavy lips leaned down and pressed against the soft lips in front of him as gently and sweetly as possible. The little man let out a soft cry of protest in his throat as both of their breaths came together as one. Receive the sweet and gentle taste of the warm lips of the person in front of you who leans in to taste and exchange contact with the sweet, soft lips slowly and gradually as he caresses the tip of his nose down close to him.
Everything that Jinyoung did for a long time was not a flashy touch, but it was imprinted in every feeling right now. Carefully imprinting a kiss on the sweet, round forehead in front of you, staring deeply into each other's eyes while saying sweet words, smiling cunningly, not as cold as before.
"If you don't want it, I'll give it to you."
“Oh..it's not dessert. Jinyoung release Gongchan -///-”
"So...that means it's not sweet enough." He didn't say anything, his nose raised and moved down to press against his clear cheek like sizzling cotton candy as he took the opportunity to inhale the scent. The little man started to look frightened and looked for a way to escape.
“That's enough. Jinyoung can't do this to Gongchan.
T///T”
“Why can't it be done? Well, since I like you I've always liked him since I was in second grade." Long eyes stared at the little person in the blanket who had been stuck for so long that he was starting to feel embarrassed.
“Did Jinyoung ever tell Gongchan that he liked Sandeul?”
“I never told. You were the only one who listened to the words I said on the first day in front of the mirror and thought about them yourself.” Jinyoung corrected the sentence while looking at the cute face that was filled with delight. That troublesome girl looks like she's about to be defeated today.
“Well…well, who knows? Jinyoung likes that Gongchan is always weird and always makes faces at Gongchan. Gongchan thought that Jinyoung…”
“Later, don't think about it alone. If I don't frown at you like that, you'll smile cutely at me again. I'm so embarrassed…” The person in good form laughed and scratched his head to correct his embarrassment. Gongchan put a hand on his cheek in surprise and turned to ask him.
“Is Gongchan smiling cute?
O///O”
“Hmm, cute smile, and you're the only person who has made me smile all these years.”
“Just seeing you smile makes me want to smile along with you. I want to play, I want to be near you every day. I'd rather share snacks and tell you more than I've only had the chance to meet you twenty times in my entire life. Seeing your face made me smile more than when I ate lollipops.” Jinyoung flicked his sharp eyes to look at his cute, brightly colored face and continued talking non-stop.
“Do you know that you are the only person who makes me want to have more than twenty baby teeth ^^”
“That's enough, where is that possible?” Gongchan rolled his head, avoiding the dazzling eyes staring at him. “After all, Jinyoung only has twenty baby teeth. And Jinyoung is now a fully grown adult. Gongchan isn't proud of making Jinyoung want to lose all his teeth every day.” The little man laughed along with Jinyoung.
“So what do you want me to do? I don't want to see you only twenty times in my entire life. But I only have twenty baby teeth…so sad.”
“Jinyoung, don't be sad... Jinyoung is always Gongchan's lollipop. Jinyoung is also the person that Gongchan thinks of and smiles happily every day. When Jinyoung smiles, Gongchan wants to smile too.”
“Sloppy, we haven't only met twenty times in our lives, right? ^^” Gongchan said the last sentence with a hint of meaning in his voice. Jinyoung let out a knowing smile on his lips before leaning down towards the small body curled up in the blanket again until the tip of his nose touched the soft skin.
“Then luckily you are my lollipop too.”
Their lips touched each other passionately again as they exchanged happy smiles in the dark under the dim starlight shining through the window pane. The sweetness of a favorite dessert is conveyed through a warm, juicy touch that is more gentle than the sweet cotton candy flavor. Provides longer lasting sweetness than any flavor of lollipop in the world.
It gives more happiness than eating ten chocolate bars. There is nothing that can give you the power to keep the fragrant memories for a long time like this. Apart from a little thing called...love
And love makes the good memories of my life sweeter for longer than just twenty days….
PS.
Ah...is that the end too? Haha. But really?
