Um.... Hello, this is my journal. Uh, don't worry about my name. I just wanted to write this record, that's all, because it's really worth remembering. Even though it wasn't a long time, it was.... valuable.
I'm a freelancer. Do whatever work you can. This is just the first time I've ever traveled abroad. Well... I bought a cheap tour to come to Japan. I don't understand why it has to be Japan. Probably because I myself am too poor to buy a tour that is further away, further away...
It's too much to remember what the real reason for coming here is. I was just avoiding something that was eating away at my heart. But it seems The journey is very far away. The things that were lingering in my heart never disappeared.
I slept alone on the last day before returning to Bangkok. This visit was completely worthless. Paid money to sleep in this narrow, rectangular room. Actually, I was just coming on a tour. But I didn't think I'd go with those people, or they didn't really want to join me. The tour guide didn't even call my name. But this is good.
Being left behind is a normal thing that I should get used to.
After being stuffed and wasting time arranging things that I had to prepare to return to tomorrow, in this room, it felt cramped and uncomfortable, like some kind of chain bound me. Maybe because of its size. Just your laptop and mobile charger take up a lot of space on your head. Personally, I could only lie down with my feet curled past the end of the bed. I really couldn't take it. Nothing helped at all.
I sat and spent a long time thinking about what I should do before leaving. At least when you come to Japan, you probably have to travel. That's all I can think of. So I decided to just pick up my cell phone. wallet and the room key came out I think there might be something that can be done at this time, more or less.
Just a few blocks from the mouse hole hotel I was staying at, there was a park. I looked at the tourist information sign and it's not far. The atmosphere in the early morning or late morning should be fine like this. The weather here is a lot cooler than in our country.
“Tokyo Park” is what the name says. It seems like I came at the right time. The atmosphere is crazy good. The cherry blossom trees are blooming pink. Warm sunlight hitting the face soft grass A gentle cool breeze. Hmm......I haven't felt this relaxed in a long time.
I sat down on the grass. Its soft touch made me feel incredibly relaxed. I picked up my cell phone and took a photo of the cherry tree in front of me and uploaded it to Instagram. At least someone might like this picture. It's funny that I paid exorbitant internet fees just to post a picture that no one was likely to notice or even see. "No friends, no identity." That's me.
“Dung.” Strangely, a notification sound came from the phone. Damn it, I had just topped up the money when I walked out of the hotel. Eh! No, someone commented on this picture.
“That’s me in ur pic”
"That's me in your picture."
Oh my gosh, what kind of privacy violation have we committed? Damn it, I immediately sent her a private message to apologize. But luckily, she doesn't mind. I'm relieved. Here, privacy violations can even lead to police arrest. I sat and stared at that picture for a long time. “That's enough for this trip.” Anyway, he's pretty anonymous.
Someone walked behind. I didn't even have to turn to look. It came so fast, and now that person was sitting down next to me so quickly it was as if their body had an enormous gravitational force towards the earth. She was a petite girl with short hair....damn, like cherry blossoms. Her skin was white and bright. Pink cheeks Those bright red lips
“I've been looking for it for a long time. Good thing I saw the camera angle and knew it was you,” she said in bright English with a Japanese accent. Her eyes sparkled like the water in the pond in the middle of the garden. I'm a little stunned. Yes, it's really you. I was stunned and didn't know what to say. So I picked up my mobile phone to open the picture. I apologized to her again and was about to delete. She quickly stopped her with awkward sign language.
“My name is Ruby. I don't like my Japanese name. Nice to meet you,” she introduced herself in a husky voice. That's right, small women usually have a lot of positive energy. Let me introduce myself We sat and talked for a bit before she offered to take me for a walk. I told her directly that the hair was really crispy.
You don't mind at all. Well, this is a volunteer tour, right?
We walked and talked about our lives. She is also a freelancer. Living alone in a big city. Oh, that's right, she just graduated from school, not too different from me. Graphic designer is her profession But I don't do it regularly. She said that Your life is boring. No, I didn't say that. Hers is. That's it.
I understand very well. As a person who has to be alone among millions of people, how does it feel?
She took me to buy ice cream on the side of the road. She said that since entering university she had seen this shop already standing. She bought it in half and gave it to me. It was really kind, giving a stranger ice cream. Besides, the weather was much cooler than in Bangkok. Who will eat it?
Just a split second I secretly glanced at her. That happy look with the ice cream made me..... like I forgot to breathe. She turned and smiled at me, whose face was distorted because she wasn't acting right. "You.... are so cute." No, I can't think like that. I shook off that feeling. Following her slowly as she continued to chatter all the time.
Ice cream melts in hand She asked if it wasn't delicious. No, it was very delicious. It was sweet and fragrant. Just like her attitude since we met, maybe my heart is too sensitive to things like this. I'm just a lonely person who escapes loneliness to be lonely in a far away place. She took me to wash my hands at the faucet in the garden... The water was very cold, but my face was warm.
I volunteered to serve her lunch. No, it was actually afternoon. She chose the restaurant she liked to eat at in high school. The owner of the shop is very kind. The aroma in the shop is filled with the soup. Even though it was only the afternoon Instead, it felt like a warm dinner with family. The food is not very expensive. But this experience was very expensive. It slowly opened up to me. Getting warmer little by little
She took me to the Akihabara area around 2 p.m. People were crowding everywhere. The shadows of the buildings block out the hot afternoon sun very well. She took me to places I had only seen in movies. And I never thought that I would come across the real thing here. I take selfies sometimes.... How long has it been since you've done this?
She came into one of the photos just as I was pressing the shutter. She told me to take a photo of her as a souvenir. She took out her phone and took a photo of me as well. I don't know when I started smiling, smiling, and laughing again. After not doing it for a long time
It's getting cold. The air became colder as well. The sky began to turn orange as the sun took its course. She invited me to walk around the garden one more time, and I was happy to walk along with her. We walk slowly The evening sunlight is a soft orange color. Sakura petals fall and float in the wind.
The scent of both the cherry trees and... your scent was so bright, warm, and safe. It was strange that even though it was a big city, at this time, this place felt incredibly peaceful.
I looked along the side of the road. Saw many families coming out to have a picnic. Some were lovers who sat and loved each other. A group of friends playing hilariously. Why? I've only just seen this before. or all that time I never paid any attention to my surroundings. We talk less But it's become more important. After going back, what should I do next? What will you do after this? Me too We both became quiet. It's a sign that the day is about to end.
I don't know if it was intentional or accidental. Our hands touched each other. I stopped and my heart raced. He glanced at her for a moment before quickly turning around. The wind blew once again. She stood up and touched the wind in front of me. Sakura petals fell on his palm. She gently put it in my pocket.
Her bright eyes now became dull. I understood that. I turned to look at her face again. The short strands of hair blowing in the wind It is truly an image that will never be forgotten. I smiled slightly at her. She grabbed my hand No one speaks Just because I want to keep it in my memory as deeply as possible. We walked hand in hand slowly, waiting for the sun to set.
“The dyeing party has an end date.” She walked me to the front of the hotel. I let go of her hand and took a step forward. before turning to bow to her and try saying thank you in Japanese She bowed to me once.
"thank you"
Who should I thank?... I left her behind and slowly walked up the hotel building. I really don't want today to pass. I turned to look at her again. She bowed to me once. So I nodded to her. It's all over. A wonderful day. Thank you.
The next morning I had to leave with another crappy and boring tour. The annoying chatter of all the aunties and the young people who just play until it hurts makes me feel irritated all the time as I arrive at Narita Airport. The reason is because last night The internet package ran out midway through entering the hotel.
That's why I'm here to write this journal. Damn, it's so boring.
After four excruciating hours on the plane and two hours on the road with traffic jams and complete fatigue, I threw myself on the bed as soon as I got back to the apartment without even taking off my shoes. I'm back in Thailand. Ready to enter the hell loop of being stuck?
I plugged in the mobile charger and fell asleep in that state. Until the phone rang.
“Ruby
Start following you.”
