"Me!!!!" A shout mixed with sobs sounded from the door of the room opening.
The girl who was already in the room was startled. Because of the shouts that called her name
"He's been abandoned again. Haha!" the owner of the shouting voice said, wiping away tears from his sobs.
The door to the room is still open. Their loud cries might displease the other rooms because they were in a shared dormitory.
Mimi rose from her chair. She stopped studying. to comfort her friend
"Come here," Mi said, covering up her arms.
The crying girl immediately ran to his chest.
Mimi could feel her shoulders shaking and tears soaking down her shirt.
She gently stroked the hair of the teary-eyed little girl she was embracing.
How many times has she done this?
"Prang..." Mi whispered.
"Mi, I've been abandoned again." Prang continued to speak the same sentence.
"Prang...well, I have to go close the door."
Mi took Prang to sit on the edge of the bed. Prang sat down quietly. The front of her hair seemed wet from tears.
Mimi sighed, she walked towards the door. It's starting to get dark outside. Because it was evening Mi looked out into the darkness before the door closed.
A bottle of cold water was handed to Prang.
Prang took it and drank it in a big gulp. Mimi walked over and sat in the same chair she sat in to study, which was not too far from the bed.
Prang's face looked very bad, full of tears and mucus.
"Tissue" Mi handed it to Prang.
"Oh," Prang accepted and handed over his snot.
Wow!
The beauty that you have is gone, I thought.
The two have been friends since high school.
When I came to study at university, I studied at the same place and lived in the same dormitory.
"You, he left me again. Why is it always me who gets left behind? What's wrong with me?" Prang said and looked like he was about to cry again.
"...Later, you should throw it away first," Mi advised.
"Alas!! How can it be like that?" Prang didn't agree.
“Did he tell you the reason?” he asked.
"He said I don't get along with his friends."
"Before, it was... too nice and there was hardly any time for each other." I thought of the previous reasons I had heard from Prang.
"I'm probably in a lot of trouble," Prang said curtly.
Mi looked at Prang who was wiping away new tears.
"You're too serious about love," Mi said.
“Isn't that how it should be?” Prang argued.
"Other people don't think like you."
"I've never had a boyfriend. You don't understand...ah!" Prang accidentally lost his words.
Mi turned her head to look out the window, where it was already dark outside.
"Sorry," Prang apologized.
"I may not have a boyfriend, but it's not that I don't understand love..." Mi said.
Prang looked directly into Mi's eyes.
"You really have a bad personality. I'm sorry I took you with me. I might have to change some of my habits," Prang said.
Mimi got up and walked in front of Prang. Prang looked up slowly.
"It's good to be the way you are. Why would you change to make others like you? You have to let him like you for who you are.”
“But not counting the fact that you don't often wash the dishes. Forgot to do the laundry and steal my snacks at night," Mi continued.
Those words caused Prang to burst into laughter.
"Oh, I'm borrowing a little something to eat." She apologized.
Mi looked relieved when she saw Prang smile.
Mimi knelt down next to the bed where Prang was sitting. She reached up and brushed a strand of Prang's hair behind her ear.
"You are a beautiful person. You are kind and gentle. There must be someone who sees your worth," Mi said.
Prang stared into Mimi's eyes.
“In this world, there are still many men for you to choose from. Don't worry about the few guys you've met,” Mi said with a smile.
Prang smiled back and pulled Mimi into a hug. Mi moved along because she was in a very uncomfortable position.
But Prang hugged her tightly.
"Thank you. Without you, I'd probably be really sick," Prang whispered.
Mimi stopped listening.
"You're my best friend," Prang continued whispering.
Mi sighed before pulling away.
"Are you hungry?" Mi asked.
"Just a little bit."
"I'll go down and buy something to eat. I'll buy some for you."
"Thank you."
Mimi came back with a bag full of food and snacks. All those foods and desserts are Prang's favorite things.
Mi opened the door and the room was still as dark as when she left.
She opened it and said, "Here it is."
There was no answer to her.
When she walked in, she found that Prang had already taken a nap on the bed.
Mimi put the food on the table. She slowly walked over to the bed and carefully sat down next to it.
Staring at her friend's sleeping face Eyes that are swollen and red from crying
Mi rubbed it gently.
Breathing while sleeping makes me feel relaxed.
"No matter how many times you've been heartbroken, I will stay by your side. I'm rooting for you. Until you are successful in love, Prang,” Mi said, she could only stare at that face. She knew that this was enough for her. That's enough for a friend who will always love you.
