Our accidental meeting It's a small event in the big world.
But meeting by chance is a "miracle".
CR.SQW
In twenty years, Jay had never thought that he would be sharing a room with a stranger. He tried to calm his agitated feelings after opening the door to his student room and seeing someone sleeping comfortably on the floor. Lower bunk
Well, it probably wouldn't be that bad. Even in America there are so many hostels, Jay tried to think like that as he slowly dragged a large suitcase and placed it in the corner of the room, his small eyes considering the condition of the room he would be staying in for the entire school year.
The beloved guitar that he had so stubbornly brought with his mother to bring from his hometown was placed near his bag. Jay stood and looked left and right, then slowly walked over to inspect the bathroom, where he found that at least it was in better condition. That he thought a lot
While he was struggling with ideas in his head about what to do next, the sound of the person in bed causing him to turn around and look, because just now the person lying on the bed was lying face down, causing him to be able to look. It's not very good, but when the other person turns over and lies on his side, facing him, and also wraps himself in a blanket into a ball, Jay has an idea in his head.
His roommate is cute too.
Since he arrived at the dormitory quite late yesterday, plus he didn't want to disturb the people who were there before by waking him up just by introducing himself, so J chose to do his own business. He slept and woke up again when he felt like... The sunlight was starting to get too strong, and when he looked at his watch, he saw that it was about three hours past noon.
The person who had just woken up let out a big yawn before slowly getting off the top bunk to walk to the bathroom. As he walked past the reading table, he saw that there was a vitamin drink sitting there with a post on the bottle. Paste it in pink.
‘I’m Brian Kang. Nice to meet you’
The short message was written in an easy-to-read and neat handwriting that made Jay smile. He opened his hand and drank the vitamin drink in one go. He felt like he wanted to see his roommate.
Because the faculty he attends is an international program for foreigners, Jay doesn't have to go to pre-semester activities like everyone else. Today (from the time he woke up) all day (since he woke up), he spent his time organizing the things he brought. From home, put it in place and then unfold your notebook to play your favorite games.
“shit shit shit!”
Jae cursed when the character he was playing was killed by his opponent eight times in a row until he started to feel the hot air in Korea starting to gather on his head and he finally had to give in. With an insurmountable amount of embarrassment, Jay closed his laptop and stretched a few times before noticing through the window that it was getting dark outside.
The sound of the door clinking startled Jay. He hurriedly took off his headphones before turning towards the direction of the sound. The newcomer was turning his back and taking off his shoes. Jay sat up straight, waiting for the other person to turn around.
“Uh.”
“hi”
The person who greeted me first was Jay. He wasn't sure if Korean culture was serious about greetings or not, but let's just say he wasn't serious enough.
“I’m Jae Park, nice to meet you”
He extended his hand towards the other person. Brian reached out his hand and gently shook it, smiling.
“nice to meet you, too”
The conversation between him and his roommate ended there. He looked towards Brian, who was taking the plastic bag he had brought with him and putting it on the dining table, taking out six large packets of what he called instant noodles. ก
“Do you want to eat ramen together?”
“Hmm?”
Jay made a noise in his throat because he couldn't hear Brian's Korean sentence very well, but the other person saw that he was confused and quickly waved his hand in denial.
“Well, it's not like that. I mean, uh.
Do you wanna have dinnertogether?”
“Ah, yes.”
A tall figure got up from his chair and walked to the small kitchen area where there was a small dining table and a counter. The person who had invited him was busy tearing a packet of ramyeon and putting it in a vegetarian pot. He saw that Brian had already torn it. Two envelopes and seemed to be hesitating whether to tear another or not. Seeing that, Jay spoke up to break the silence.
“I thing it’s enough for us”
“I rarely eat spicy food.”
The first sentence Jay spoke in English, the next he spoke slowly in Korean because he couldn't quite make out the words. Brian nodded and put the remaining ramyun in the cabinet while waiting for the water to boil for both Jay and Bai. Raan sat at the dining table in silence, but he noticed that the other person seemed to have something to say.
“May I ask your age?”
“Two, uh.. twenty?
Twenty”
"I'm 19 years old, so I'll call you Pee Jay."
The tall owner blinked.
“Nice to meet you again, Jae hyung”
His roommate smiled and got up to finish cooking the ramyun in the pot when he heard the sound of boiling water. If I didn't hear it wrong, it sounded like Brian would call me Pee Jay or not?
It didn't take long for two packages of boiled ramyeon to be served, Brian handed him a sharing cup and chopsticks before taking care of his own. Jay watched the other person take the yellow ramen noodles from the pot into his own cup and swallowed loudly. He wanted to eat too, but the problem was that Jay didn't know what to do with the metal chopsticks in his hand.
"Brother J, aren't you eating?"
“Well, I don't know how to use chopsticks.”
After both Jay and Brian finished their dinner in a mess due to unfamiliar eating utensils, Jay volunteered to clean it up because more than 80 percent of the food was his own. After he finished cleaning, Seeing that Brian was already lounging on the bottom bed, another person asked him while turning the pages of a comic book.
“What faculty do you study, Brother Jay?”
"group? Uh
Political Science. What about you?”
“Business Administration
yes"
Jay nodded and went to sit at the reading table. At first he thought he would play the game again, but after thinking about it, he thought he should get to know his roommate more.
“Brian”
"yes?"
“You don’t have to be so formal with me, ok?”
“I just 1 year older than you so that’s alright”
“Ah, all right.”
Jay decided to say that because he didn't want Brian to feel tense around them. He'd heard a few things about Korean etiquette: being polite to older people and calling names even though they were born. At the beginning and end of the year, which I personally think is not very necessary.
“Then it would be better if you call me Younghyun.”
“Yongyeon?”
“nah it’s Young-Hyun that’s my name”
“but Brian sounds easier”
Jay secretly saw that Brian sighed and gave up the comic book in his hand to come talk to him.
“Better call me Younghyun. We will be closer together.”
"okay"
Even so, Brian's Korean name is difficult to pronounce.
It's been more than two months since he moved from his native America to Korea. Jay has started to make some friends in the same group because they talk to each other easily and of course his Korean language has improved by leaps and bounds. Jay thinks that He had to give the credit to Kang Bryan (no, he didn't). His roommate Kang Young Hyun usually spends ten minutes before bedtime practicing his Korean pronunciation.
“Don't forget your appointment tonight.”
“I won't forget.”
The tall figure waved goodbye to his fellow faculty members before walking towards the Business Administration Faculty to wait for Younghyun to get out of school so he could return to his room together. Jamie had plans that today he would go buy more ramyeon and snacks because he saw it this morning. That the supplies I had bought were almost gone and if I remember correctly today, it looks like the grill shop will have a 15% discount for students. So I invited Younghyun to go eat together a bit.
If it were in America right now, Jay would probably drive to the restaurant alone and then eat the buffet alone without paying attention to anyone. But because he lives in a foreign country, I have to try to adapt him to Korean culture. Plus, Jay likes it when Younghyun goes along. He didn't feel as lonely as before when he had to go everywhere alone.
"P'Jay?"
The person who was called turned around and saw an administration student walking towards him with a book in his hand. Younghyun paused to catch his breath for about ten seconds before looking up at him and greeting him.
“I carry a bag like this again.”
And that's when Jay realized that he was carrying the same backpack again.
"I know you're not used to it yet, but at least you don't have to hold the bag strap when you carry it."
Slender hands finished adjusting the straps of his backpack for him and he smiled, satisfied with his work.
"Then please don't turn the phone up again."
Jay nodded, not knowing why he had to do as Younghyun said. But he's done it.
"So, are you going to go buy something?"
“You can go.”
Younghyun nodded and put two textbooks into his backpack and walked them towards the bus stop in front of the university. Actually, if he didn't have to go buy things outside, he could just walk back to the dorm because the dormitory itself was... on the same fence
“There's only one package of ramyun left in the cupboard, definitely not enough for a late night meal.”
“what about buffet?”
Jay seemed to see his roommate's eyes widen after saying the word buffet. Jay smiled playfully when he saw the person standing on the railing of the bus secretly gulping.
"I'll take care of you myself. I want to eat."
When he returned from outside, Jay found that it was close to the time he had arranged with his friends to play the game. He opened his notebook and put on his headphones to get ready. After pressing the button for the famous survival game, he typed a message. M told his friend that he was already waiting. While waiting for everyone to complete, J took the opportunity to practice his skills by going in to play alone first for a turn or two. But it seems that the practice was not very beneficial when Jay was on the opposite side. Shot to death twice in a row even though he had just parachuted in.
“You’re killed again”
Younghyun's voice sounded nearby, causing the person who had just entered the lobby to take off their headphones and turn to look at Jay, seeing that the other person had already taken a shower and was now sitting at the table reading his own book and His eyes returned to the screen.
“not because of my skill”
“then what’s the problem?”
Je Yu saw that Younghyun was laughing while mocking his gaming skills but it wasn't true at all?
“Please let me play with you.”
The person who had just been told that his skills were bad moved his chair closer and Jay moved to make room for another person. Younghyun selects a new character and presses to start the game.
“Don’t you think it will be better if you team up with others?”
"I don't want it."
Younghyun responded to him in Korean before the game started. His left fingers pressed the keyboard expertly without Jay having to explain which keys did what. Jay saw that Younghyun had picked up a pistol with ammo and Now it's slowly being farmed.
“watch out!”
Jay gave an alarm when he saw the opponent shoot at Younghyun's character, but the player seemed to see it first and rolled over to avoid it, shooting back.
“well done”
The people who were playing the game stuck out their tongues when they successfully defeated the opposing team. Jay was sitting next to him with a dumbfounded expression. He didn't think Younghyun could even play a game like this, causing him to praise him.
“you’re so good man I can’t believe”
"My friend is here."
His roommate took off his headphones and gave them back to him and moved his chair back to his own table. When Jay put the headphones on, he heard his friend's voice ringing through the living room line for almost an hour, so he decided to turn off the game and go. On the water Jay saw that Younghyun was still sitting in the same place reading a book, so he chose not to disturb the other person's concentration until he finished showering. Jay slowly climbed onto the second floor of the bed. It wasn't until he lay down that he noticed someone. Sitting reading a book, he leaned back and nodded in his chair like a person who was exhausted. If I guessed correctly, Younghyun would probably say,
"Brother Jay, I'm hungry."
So, where did he guess wrong?
Jae shook his head slightly as he looked towards Younghyun. When the other person was hungry, he always acted like he was exhausted even though they had just eaten a large buffet last evening.
“Eat it now or your face will be swollen.”
“But on the internet it says that if you put breast milk on it, your face won't swell.”
The people on the bed were silent when they heard the information about the administrative students.
"Brother Jay, come eat together."
Younghyun spoke softly with wistful eyes. Jay knew that he would definitely be defeated by such a gesture until he finally had to climb out of bed to sit with another friend for a late meal like he always did.
Two packages of spicy ramyun were unwrapped and boiled by a man who complained of being hungry and sat silently looking at his roommate. He wanted to warn him that eating a lot of late meals like this would make the other person fat, but On the other hand, he likes it when Younghyun eats. When he chewed until his cheeks puffed out, he looked like a hamster.
“Why are you staring at me like that?”
After putting the line into the water, Younghyun turned to look at him. Jay didn't know when he had accidentally stared at the other person. The older man shook his head.
“Nothing, just
it’s nothing”
“well, I don’t think it’s a good idea this time”
Seeing that Younghyun didn't answer, Jay stayed silent. He sat and waited until the person who complained of being hungry finished cooking the ramyun, then he looked for something to talk about again. A pot, neither small nor large, was brought and placed in the middle of the dining table. Younghyun picked up his own chopsticks and serving bowl before starting to pick up the noodles and close the lid.
"Brother Jay, aren't you eating?"
“should I?”
The person opposite Jay nodded and turned around to pick up the chopsticks, handing them to the owner of the front hand to pick them up and hold them before opening the lid of the pot to use as a cup. Jay saw that Younghyun was looking at him confused but made an expression as if he was crying inwardly when he saw him trying to put the ramyun noodles into the lid of the pot. With just the first bite of the vegetarian food, he felt the spiciness of the hot sauce so much that he had to put down the utensil to eat. Get up and go drink water.
“Very spicy.”
Even though he drank the water, the spiciness still remained in his mouth. Jay tried to open his mouth to cool off, but it didn't seem to help. Younghyun was able to hold the noodles in his mouth normally without any symptoms. like him
"Can't you eat spicy food?"
“Actually, a little bit. But not this much.”
Looking at the two packets of ramyun in the pot, I felt a real spiciness in my brain. I shouldn't have eaten it since I saw the deep red color of the hot sauce that Younghyun had added, but I wanted to try it. Therefore, it is that he made a mistake.
By the time the ramyeon in the pot was completely cleaned out, it was midnight before Younghyun cleaned up the dishes. Then he sat back at the table and read his own book while Jay went to bed from the beginning. I had stopped eating and my figure looked up at the person on the upstairs bed and saw that Jay was lying on a blanket and sleeping soundly. The light in the center of the room was turned off, leaving only a small lamp at the head of the downstairs bed.
“Good night Jae hyung”
The last sentence before the speaker collapsed under the covers and turned off the lamp. Younghyun turned around a few times because of the bloating he ate from the ramyun he ate.
“No!”
Instead of closing his eyes, he furrowed his brow when he heard Jay's voice from above.
“They shot me! Help!”
Besides Jay's sleepwalking, he must have been struggling in his sleep, Younghyun thought, because he could feel the bed shaking a little from Jay's movements.
“I’m gonna die!”
Jay's loud shout made the person sleeping on the bottom bunk have to get up and look up at the person who had just eaten ramyun before he could see that Jay was sleepwalking, acting like he was holding a rifle and pointing it in the air, his long legs kicking the blanket until it fell back. go to the end of the bed The man in his nightshirt lifted up and looked like he was dreaming in a game when in real life he was asleep.
A thin phone was picked up by the owner and turned on the camera to record a video. Younghyun just thought he would take a photo so that Jay could see himself. In addition to the gesture with the gun, he also heard a lot of swearing, some knowing, some not knowing, but his hand still continued to shoot.
But having said that, when Jay was sleepwalking, he was really cute.

There will be a slight delay in this fic, haha.
It's estimated that life has ended for the rest of our lives, but we just found an auspicious time to write.
This plot is derived from the picture. When I saw Day sitting and flirting with Mama late at night.
Plus, in the live, Young Hyun also said that Pee Jay used to sleepwalk and act like he was shooting a gun.
So Dummmm came out as a one-shot for this story.
