Hello dear readers. This is the 4th time I've secretly come to write short fiction. This time it was the couple who had promised to make a long wedding. But haven't had a chance yet. So I'd like to take it and turn it into a short fic again. Haha. Even though the story isn't related to Valentine's Day at all. But it can be considered a Valentine's Day gift from the writer.

At 2 p.m., I sat up in bed angrily and when I turned around I saw the alarm clock above my head. The bed became even more upset. Crazy! Who sends a message to Channel residents at 1:00 a.m.? My eyebrows furrowed together into a tight knot as I picked up my phone and looked at it and saw who the owner of the message was.

Can't sleep? Let's meet at the same place.

I quickly typed a message into my phone at the speed of light and immediately sent it back to Jonghyun.

            Jonghyun :

Jonghyun laughed so hard he swallowed his laughter as he stared blankly at me and cracked his knuckles menacingly. He smiled sheepishly before handing me a coffee mug that I didn't know when he bought it.

“Eat it before it gets hot.”

I picked up the coffee and sipped it without saying anything. Tasted the bittersweet taste of the latte with a lot of milk like he liked and his heart swelled for no reason.......He remembered the coffee I liked.

“The stars are beautiful tonight.”

Jonghyun muttered as he looked up at the sky. I looked up and saw that it was exactly what he said. The dazzling silver stars scattered all over the sky, shining brightly. If the young people sitting here were not close friends who knew each other completely, but were a couple, it would feel quite romantic.

Jonghyun shouted loudly and pointed towards the sky. I couldn't see if there really was a shooting star, but I immediately clasped my hands on my chest and automatically made a wish. When I opened my eyes again, I found Jonghyun sitting with his chin on his back, looking at me with a small smile on his thick lips. Damn it! Looking at it with eyes like this, aren't you afraid that someone will have a heart attack and die if they look at you?....

Jonghyun's mumbling voice barely penetrated my ears. The only thing that could be heard was the sound of his heart almost beating to the rhythm of Gangnam Stein in the left side of his chest.

Jonghyun looked back at me and suddenly interrupted his sentence with his thick eyebrows raised as if he wanted to ask, “What?”

Jonghyun's big sharp eyes slowly closed. His steady breathing told him he was about to fall asleep. I put my hand on his dark hair and stroked it with a soft touch like a tall man lying on top of a small child. Big eyes scanned the handsome face from the pair of sharp eyes that were closed.

As the class treasurer, I have to take the class teacher's attendance record book for each subject and send it to the homeroom teacher in the teacher's room every evening. I know Jonghyun is running after me. and shouting my name all the way But I refused to stop running. His big eyes were blurred by a veil of tears as images of Jonghyun and that woman floated around in his head. What brought me back to reality was the sound of honking horns and the screeching of tires on the road.

Jonghyun said in a softer tone. The strong arms wrapped around my waist and the strong hands that gently patted my back in comfort caused my wounded heart to slowly heal. Jonghyun gently pushed me out of his arms and used one hand to wipe away the tears from my face.

.......At this moment, I knew that I could never go back to thinking of this man as just a friend.

Jonghyun took me to the hospital room to get my wound treated and my leg hurt from the fall so I had to ride him home on his back. Of course I resisted. But he threatened to sue my parents because I was almost hit by a car (I agreed with him to tell them that I just fell and sprained my leg), so I climbed up on his back.

Before we could walk out of school, we were stared at all the way, that's for sure! How normal is this person who is carrying me? This guy is the hottest guy at school! If I hadn't done good deeds in my past life, I wouldn't have had the right to ride on his back like this, I'll tell you!

I also noticed the cute black-haired girl who kissed Jonghyun earlier among the students passing by. She was looking at us with big, bloodshot eyes as if she were about to cry. His slender hands clenched together tightly. I was shaking and nearly writhing on the floor.

I gripped the collar of his shirt tightly before trying to answer in a calm tone.

"I don't think I want to know at all!"

“So you agreed to date her and kissed!”

“No, it was you who stole my kiss. And I already rejected that woman.”

“I can't be with someone who makes you cry.”

......help My heart was pounding so hard it was about to bounce out of my chest!

“The person who made me cry was you.”

I whisper softly Not sure if Jonghyun heard it or not. But that doesn't matter. I hugged his neck a little tighter. and buried his face in the warm back. Jonghyun doesn't use perfume, giving him a unique scent similar to the scent of a summer meadow. That both makes you feel warm and comfortable when you're around.

No wonder so many people fell in love with him.

........Jonghyun is the moon that everyone admires and must look up to. As for me, I'm just a small star that just sits next to the moon, doesn't stand out, and no one cares. But this star never regrets. Because at least I am the star that is closest to the moon....

“This is Taeyeon.”

Jonghyun's voice was soft and sounded like it was coming from far away as my eyelids became heavy and close to closing.
