“What is in that box, Mr. Joseph?” Carl, the embalmer, asked the room owner. The photographer was curious. Karl was now acting like a youngster, wandering around his room and stopping in front of one of his display cabinets.
“Do you want to see it?” Joseph asked, walking over and wrapping his lover in his arms. Joseph was the smallest Hunter but compared to the Survivors, he was still larger. Joseph took out an oak colored box from the cabinet and handed it to his lover. Karl accepted it and opened it to have a look, wanting to be bold and afraid. He was considerate of Mr. Joseph, so he should have given permission.
Inside was a large pink and light purple quill that looked beautiful and pure. Until I didn't dare take it out of the box.
"It's so beautiful."
“That's right, just like you.” Joseph said before taking it out of Karl's hand and placing it on a nearby table. Joseph gently picked up his lover and placed him on the bed.
Mr. Joseph...
"I won't do anything. It's time for the child to sleep." Joseph said before picking up a blanket and covering it up.
“Aren't you sleeping.... together?” Carl looked away. Even though it was dark, he could see that Carl's ears were very red. Joseph watched, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. Perhaps his little boy was teasing him without realizing it.
“Go to sleep, tomorrow you have to go to the field. “Joseph lay down and pulled Karl into his embrace and rubbed his head to lull his lover to sleep.
Tonight will be another good night.
It's secretly cold. Ants are rising.
What? It's midnight. You can sleep. Sweet dreams everyone.
