"Neewarisa! Do you want to go eat ice cream at the newly opened shop this evening?"

"Sorry, we have to go to the library later. I can't go with you."

"Oh~ It's such a shame, let's go next time."

"um"

He looked at the conversation for a moment before turning to pack his bag. He probably hasn't introduced himself yet. His name is Vision. Just a normal high school student in Thailand.

"Why did you invite Warisa just now?"

"That's what I invited you to do. If you actually came, it would be very uncomfortable."

“True, what kind of person has a face as calm as a statue? If you invite me to go anywhere, I won't hide myself in the library. I don't have any friends."

He listened to their laughter and gossip for a while before deciding to immediately pack up his bags and turn to look at the person in question who was still packing her things, who didn't seem to have heard what they were saying at all. Before walking out of the room, he didn't hesitate, hurriedly walking forward until he reached the library where she was reading a book. He picked up a book and came to sit across from her.

"Is there something wrong with us?" she asked him, even though her face didn't even come out of the book she'd read.

"No, are you delusional?" he tried to correct himself.

“We saw you following us from the inside of the room and you always looked at us. Did we do something that makes you dissatisfied?”

Knowing that he had been caught, he stopped making excuses before sighing and sitting back in his chair, looking at the other person who was still face down reading a book.

"Don't you know that you're being gossiped about?"

"I know."

"Then why don't you go and clear things up with them?"

"Saying that is pointless. It'll only make them gossip about us more." She closed the book before walking to collect the books and slung her backpack over her shoulder. "But thank you for being so concerned. Vision, right?” That's all she said before she excused herself and walked out of the library, leaving him to sit and watch the small of her back disappear.

"Damn it," he scratched his head with his hand. Maybe she had forgotten that he and she had gone to middle school together before. Let me tell you that he liked her in middle school a lot more than he does now.

"Do people like you go to the library too?" His male friend suddenly appeared behind him, causing him to almost fall off his chair.

"Dammit, you can't just show up like the villagers!!" he yelled in annoyance, but it seemed like it made other people dissatisfied.

"Shh"

"Sorry."

"So what's the deal? Or are you following Warisa again?"

"Oh, I followed Warisa myself," he admitted. Because the person in front of him is 'Patcha', the hottest male friend in his Mathayom 5/1 class, who is the friend he can trust the most.

"You're not going to quit this easily. I told you to go and be honest and you didn't."

"People who talk and people who do things are different."

"I'm really fed up with you. If you like him, why don't you just tell him?"

"I don't like it!" he said in a firm voice.

'Words and actions go against each other, do you know that?' Patcha thought to himself.

"Well, then I won't bother you and I'll go." Padcha walked out of the library without stopping, turning to speak silently at him. If he's not mistaken, he'll call him a bastard, right?

"Sigh~" He sighed again before closing his eyes, thinking of the past when he was a child when he first met that girl.

in the past

At a middle school

He was sitting in a tree reading a comic book. Today he planned to skip the very boring Thai history class.

"Why don't you go to class? Jumping like this is not good." A woman's voice made him, who was reading a comic book, look down. This woman had white skin, different from Thai people, a Chinese-looking face, long hair tied into a ponytail and a blue ribbon. The navy sailor collar and long skirt that is a symbol of Thai students makes it easy to guess that she is of mixed race or Chinese descent.

"Don't interfere in my business, okay?" he said before jumping down and immediately walking away from her.

"Well, we're friends. How can this not be a problem?" He turned to look and saw her face stained with a smile. He immediately walked away.

After school (in a secluded alley)

"So, little sister, do you want to go on a trip with me?"

"Oh, no, I'm going home."

"Nah, don't play too hard. It's better to go with the older guys. It's a lot more fun."

"No."

"She told me not to go, so don't bother me." He who had seen the situation all along walked in immediately. It wasn't that he wanted to help Warisa. He just doesn't like them.

"Then what's the matter with you, you weak-faced bastard?"

"You have a weak face."

"This little guy"

Thump, thump.

"Leave it to me first." After he punched these guys for a while, they all fled.

"Uh.." Oh, he forgot about her.

“Does it hurt?” She looked at the wound at the corner of his mouth, which was bleeding a little. “Just a moment,” she said before taking out a plaster from her bag and gently applying it to him.

“You are so strange,” he said before sitting down on the ground, not caring how dirty it was, with the other person giving him a confused look.

"Strange. How strange?"

"I'm worried about other people instead of myself." She looked at him for a while before looking at him a bit fiercely and saying in a displeased tone.

"You're no different. We're friends from different distances."

"Friends?" He was a little taken aback because he didn't think anyone would want to be friends with a thug like him.

"Being friends with a bad-tempered thug like me."

"If you were a bad person, you wouldn't really help us~" She said with a wide smile before standing up and holding out her hand to him. "Let's go home."

Just a moment.

"Sigh~ I'll agree to become friends too."

"What are you laughing at?"

"Just laugh at stubborn people around here."

"I'm sure you are."

Return to the present

He didn't think he'd see her again, but this meeting was different. She didn't remember him. And what's worse is that she never smiled again. He knew enough that she was beautiful and that it wouldn't be strange for people to be annoyed at her. But it shouldn't be so severe that it would make her stop smiling at all until he found out that her father and mother were forcing her extremely hard on her grades.

(The person who told him this was Patcha, who went into Phuek until he found out.) If he had to call and ask for news from Patcha again.

"Oh my gosh, I forgot my phone in class." He ended up having to go back to the room to get the phone.

At the classroom

Creepy!

"Eh/oh?" He met her again.

"You're not back yet?" she asked him.

"I forgot my phone in class," he answered before going to pick up the phone to confirm that he was telling the truth.

"Then let's go back." She said goodbye before walking away.

“Wait!” he shouted before walking to block the door so she couldn't pass through.

"Is there something wrong?" She said before looking at him with a bit of fear in her eyes.

“When will she escape? Why don't you fight?" He grabbed her arm loosely, but she seemed afraid of something and immediately jumped away from him. Until he accidentally saw an overlapping image of her and her crying until he accidentally let her run away.

"Wait!!" He ran after her before holding her hand to escape but she brushed it off. Until he had no choice, he held her tightly. "You don't have to bear everything alone." He began to let his hug looser when he saw that she had stopped struggling.

"Huh," she tried to hold back the tears that were welling up in her eyes before gripping his clothes tightly.

“You don't have to care about those who tease you. You don't have to do everything your parents dictate. Don't put pressure on yourself. Be yourself I am a normal girl who always gives a smile to everyone,” he said, saying all the things in his heart. He didn't ask her to do as he said, but just wanted her to know.
