Year 2020, Japan, Kanto District, Tokyo Prefecture

Makuro Nakahara, a first-year high school student. He had to rent a dormitory alone because his parents divorced 2 years ago. He therefore had no money to spend on various things and his school fees. So Nakahara had to work as an employee at a 7-Eleven store in order to earn money. He had to live a difficult life like this for 2 years.

-Friday, January 25, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. at a dormitory in Tokyo-

'Ring, ringing'

The bell from outside Nakahara's room rang. It startled him and he walked to open the front door of his room. He met a woman waiting at his door, who was Nakahara's friend, Atsuko Nozomi. She waited for Nakahara like this every day. Because she wanted him to go to school as her friend.

"Nakahara, hurry up and get dressed," Nozomi told Nakahara.

"Um...wait a moment," Nakahara said to Nozomi.

Nakahara then returned to the room to take a shower and get dressed. Nozomi stood and waited for Nakahara for a while. Nakahara walked out of the room.

"Let's go," Nakahara said to Nozomi.

After that, the two of them walked together to school. On the way, Nozo didn't ask Nakahara.

"You haven't eaten yet, right? Do you want to stop by 7-Eleven?" Nozomi asked Nakahara.

“Yes, I haven't eaten yet. But you don't have to go, Seven." Nagahar said to Nozomi with a worried expression.

Nakahara had to answer because he didn't want Nozomi to know that he was working as an employee at the 7-Eleven they were going to. Nozomi didn't mind, so they continued walking to school. By the time they reached the school, it was already too late because the school doors had already closed and the students had already started going to class.

"What should I do, Nakahara?" Nozomi asked Nakahara.

"Follow me, I have a place," Nakahara told Nozomi with confidence.

Nakahara also brought Nozomi to the school next door. He thought about climbing the leak to cross, but the problem stuck with Nozomi. Because he saw Nozomi acting a little brave. Nakahara then asked Nozomi.

"You don't dare climb, right?" Nakahara asked Nozomi.

"Yes...Yes, I don't dare," Nozomi replied to Nakahara.

This left Nakahara with no choice, so he carried Nozomi so that Nozomi could easily be beside him, and Nakahara hurriedly climbed up from where he was carrying Nozomi. When the two of them got past the leak, the two of them hurried up to their rooms. The two of them arrived just in time before their teacher came to homeroom.

-Time 12.00 hrs. at a school-

Until lunch time, Nozomi invited Nakahara to eat lunch at the Sky Gate. Nakahara was about to eat when Nozomi spoke.

"Thank you," Nozomi thanked Nakahara.

"Thank you for what?" Nakahara asked about Nozomi's thanks.

"It's about...this morning," Nozomi answered Nakahara again.

"Um...it's okay," Nakahara said to Nozomi.

Before the two of them ate, and when their lunch break was over, they both went to class as usual. Until the time had passed until after school, the two walked back together as usual, with Nakahara always dropping Nozomi off at home and then he returned to his own dorm. When Nakahara returned home Nakahara then changed into a 7-Eleven employee's uniform to go to work to earn his money.

-At 5:00 p.m. at the 7-Eleven store-

Nakahara walked to work at a 7-Eleven near his dormitory (that 7-Eleven when Nozomi asked Nakahara if he hadn't eaten yet). When he got to 7-Eleven, he Go stand at the counter according to his work time. As for customers, they come in and buy things as usual. Until Nozomi thought about going out to buy some food at 7-Eleven.

Nozomi then walked to 7-Eleven until she reached 7-Eleven. Nakahara saw Nozomi walking in. Nakahara was shocked. He had put his mask on so that Nozomi wouldn't know. Once Nozomi had chosen her food, she walked over to the checkout counter. But Nozomi saw that Tai's counter was free and walked over to Nakahara's counter without Nozomi knowing he was Nakahara.

Nakahara saw this and became an employee instead. So he charged his normal amount. But when Nakahara looked at Nozomi Nozomi looked back at him as well. Nakahara then turned back to the cash register and told Nozomi the amount of money she needed to pay.

"Nah...One hundred and twenty-nine," Nakahara said, indicating the amount that Nozomi had to pay.

"Here," Nozomi said.

But suddenly there was a cry for help from the front of Seven.

"H...Help me. A thief stole my bag." A woman's voice called for help.

Nakahara heard this and went out in front of 7-Eleven to find a thief running away. Nakahara then ran after the thief. At that time, Nozomi followed Nakahara to help again. When the thief ran into a corner, Nakahara blocked the exit. The thief had no choice but put down his bag and raised his hand and punched Nakahara.

So Nakahara had to punch the thief. After a while, the thief fell unconscious. This allowed Nakahara to catch the thief, but Nakahara accidentally dropped his mask when he punched the thief. Nozomi who was running after saw that it was Nakahara. Nakahara had no choice so he told Nozomi to go.

"I'll explain it to you," Nakahara said to Nozomi.

Nakahara later returned the bag to the woman and brought the theft to the police.

-At 7:00 p.m. at Nozomi's house-

After Nakahara took the thief to the police Nozomi then brought Nakahara to her house without telling Nakahara anything along the way. When we reached Nozomi's house Nozomi then took Nakahara to her room.

"Nakahara, can I ask you a question?" Nozomi asked Nakahara.

"..." Nakahara didn't say anything.

"Why do you have to hide as an employee at 7-Eleven and why are you working?" Nozomi asked Nakahara.

“Well... 2 years ago my parents divorced, causing me to be alone for 2 years, but I'm glad my aunt gave me money to rent a room at the dorm. However, I have to earn money to pay for various things and tuition. So I had to... come work as an employee at 7-Eleven," Nakahara said, telling Nozomi his story.

When Nakahara finished narrating Nozomi was in tears.

"You must be in a lot of trouble," Nozomi said to Nakahara.

So the two of them talked in Nozomi's room until 8:30 p.m. and when the two of them ran out of things to talk about. Nozomi blushed and told Nakahara.

"I...that's...Nakahara...that's...I wanted to tell you..." Nozomi stammered.

"Is something wrong?" Nakahara asked Nozomi.

After that, Nozomi reached out to shake Akahara's hand and said,

"That is, throughout this year that I've been your friend. I've always liked you, so please date me!"

Making Nakahara feel embarrassed as well, Nakahara will tell Nozomi that

"Hahaha, okay, let's hang out."

This made Nozomi feel happy and cry at the same time.

-Saturday, January 26, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at a coffee shop in Tokyo-

After the two got together The two decide to go on a date on Saturday, with Nozomi telling Nakahara to wait for her at the cafe.... When Nakahara arrived at the coffee shop He sat and waited for Nozomi for a while when Nozomi walked in with an outfit that made Nakahara blush. So the two of them sat and talked at the coffee shop for a while before the two of them went to the mall.

The two of them walked and shopped together like a happy couple. Until the evening Nakahara was waiting for Nozomi's parents' car to come pick her up. Until Nozomi's car came to pick her up before Nozomi could go, Nozomi told Nakahara.

"Today was really fun. Thank you, Nakahara," Nozomi said happily to Nakahara.

Before Nakahara nodded and waved at Nozomi before he hailed a taxi back to his dorm.

-Sunday, January 27, 2020 at 12.30 at 7-Eleven-

Nakahara went to work to earn money as usual. Nozomi and his parents also went on a family trip. Until Nozomi came back and stopped by the 7-Eleven where Nakahara worked. Nozomi and Nozomi's parents also entered 7-Eleven when Nozomi went to pay at the counter. Nozomi's father secretly watches Nozomi talking to the employee.

Nozomi's father saw that Nakahara was a 7-Eleven employee (that is, Nakahara was wearing a mask and still got caught. Nozomi's father must be a detective.) But Nakahara saw that Nozomi's father was looking at him and became suspicious. Before Nozomi and Nozomi's parents walked out of Seven and Nakahara heard that Nozomi's father asked Nozomi,

"This is your child dating someone who is a 7-Eleven employee."

When Nozomi goes home Nakahara immediately ran to Nozomi's house because Nakahara knew that there would definitely be a fight. And when Nakahara arrived at Nozomi's house, she heard Nozomi's voice and Her father was arguing. Nakahara then entered the house.

"You can't be with someone like that!" Nozomi's father said.

"Well, he's a good person. It's not wrong for me to date you," Nozomi said.

This causes Nakahara to stop Nozomi's father.

"Please stop, Father Nozomi."

But Nozomi's father doesn't listen to Nakahara's words and continues to quarrel with Nozomi as usual. causing Nakahara to speak with tears in her eyes

"That's enough. I don't want you to be like me. My parents fought over me. It caused my parents to divorce. I had to be alone for 2 years. You have to earn your own money. I have to help myself. Are you going to let Nozomi be alone like me?”

Nakahara's words stopped Nozomi's father from fighting with Nozomi and Nozomi's parents. Nozomi and Nakahara understand each other until Nozomi's parents agree that Nakahara can protect their daughter. But Nozomi's parents told Nakahara that from tomorrow Nozomi will have to study in England for 1 year.

This makes Nakahara and Nozomi have to accept that they won't see each other for a year. But the two of them still made a promise that no matter where they were, they would never forget each other.

-Sunday, January 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the airport-

After Nozomi has to study in England for 1 year. And when 1 year has passed Nakahara then went to the airport to wait for Nozomi. When the last plane landed, Nakahara waited for Nozomi to come down with her parents. When Nozomi came down from the plane, she rushed to hug Nakahara. With her parents standing happily watching.

"I've returned, Nakahara."

"Um...a promise is a promise, Nozomi."

"Um...let's go to your 7-eleven...Nakahara-kun."
