I don't expect insurance money. I didn't think about the treatment costs and didn't want to die. I just want to get Covid. Pandemic, virus, Covid, mother, love, noose, last loop.

When the child is infected with Covid, what will the mother do? This work is not about vaccines or any kind of magic pills.

Grandma had been ill for a long time when she passed away. So we were able to come to terms with it to a certain extent. What is even more worrying is funeral arrangements in the COVID situation. Because Grandma has ten children, almost twenty grandchildren, not counting the younger generation of great-grandchildren. Grandma's house therefore has to welcome many generations of people. But when it is the final trip to send off a loved one, will anyone dare to object?

Many people took the opportunity to return to their hometown. This funeral was filled with laughter. The sounds of greeting each other were more noisy than the sounds of weeping in the atmosphere of parting.

“Auntie Rin came with the two Grandma Nan?” My mother's voice asked Auntie Rin, the seventh sister, loudly as the small figure of a middle-aged woman appeared leading a little child up to the house.

“Nan, hurry up and pay respects to your big aunt,” Aunt Rin turned to tell her daughter. "Ta Phong is on duty at the factory. I let Nat stay with his father." Uncle Rin was referring to her husband and eldest son, who were almost twenty-five years old.

' Nang Rin and her husband don't think about having Grandma Nan. She's in her fifth year and just had a young child. Add a new hoop,' said the eldest aunt. You have five children, and before you stop worrying (or not), your children will have grandchildren that make you worry even more. When the elders met, they had many conversations. As for the small children, they ran around and played. The house was therefore more like a celebration than a funeral.

After less than two days, it appeared that Grand Auntie's grandchild had a fever and was found to be infected with Covid. This time it really got to work. The village headman came to inquire with fear. Our home is therefore a funeral cluster by default. Authorities quarantined people in the household and their relatives nearby. Someone brings food to every meal. The greatest suffering is not being able to go anywhere.

I had a duty to inform relatives living abroad who had returned from Grandma's funeral before I received a call from Auntie Rin that Nan had the latest Covid infection, while Auntie Rin's test result was negative.

“So where does Nan have to go for treatment?” I asked because I didn't know the Bangkok procedures. If it were here, we would be at risk of being quarantined. As for those infected, they were sent for treatment to a field hospital arranged by the authorities.

“Contacting for treatment and what kind of home did they put me in? It's a hotel in the Rangsit area. But I'm probably going to live with the child. How can I leave him alone?"

“Auntie is infected too?” I remember the last time news was sent that your test results were negative.

“Already addicted, tell others. The first time it didn't work but the aunt went to sleep with the child. Let it stick together so we can live with it.”

Auntie Rin said that when she found out her daughter was infected with Covid. He also planned to be attached because he was worried about his child if he had to go alone. Love and care make one overcome fear of disease. Until thinking of a simple solution By agreeing to sleep with the child and allow the virus to spread to him before sending his daughter to quarantine herself. This is Auntie Rin's last concern, as my mother truly said.
