The scent of fresh Thai flowers blowing in the breeze. and the sound of Thai music playing will lead you to the path that I have created for you… Mystery, short stories, Thai period, past lives, Thainess, Thai music, dance, family, dancing ghosts, sisters, a bit of fantasy, drama, love.

The story of a young girl who dreams that she is in the middle Rattanakosin period. By appearing at a Thai house that was a Thai dance and music troupe, eh! ...Or maybe this isn't a dream?

I wrote a short story and sent it to my Thai language teacher. Then I thought it would be a good idea to share it for others to read.

Some content may not be accurate to history or reality, such as certain speech and actions. or environment And the author does not intend to disrespect sacred things or refer to anyone at all.

(I'm already afraid of going 1 ????)

Please enjoy reading >_<

P.S. 2 There are links to songs related to the story posted below as well. Don't forget to listen to it~~????

“Oh my god...my moon.

I'm here to express my love for Khamduang's bride.

Oh, it's already late... I'd like to bid farewell.

My heart is worried about your love for Duang Duan…”

The sound of traditional Thai music wafted from a wide-screen black computer sitting on a soft white wooden table that was pleasing to the eye. On the screen appeared a picture of a young woman wearing a traditional Thai dress along with the song title. 'Lao Duang Duean', which is one of Karn's three favorite songs, is an eighteen-year-old girl with short, raven-black hair, honey-colored skin, wearing light blue pajamas with a speckled white flower pattern.

And now she is sitting on the bed. Looking out the window

Outside the window it was a sign that night had come. Even though the moonlight can't be seen tonight But hundreds of thousands of stars still shone brightly in the sky. Shining down on the dark ground below

"When will Mom and Dad come back? I'm so lonely."

Karn muttered to himself and leaned down on the soft bed. Her parents haven't come home for two days. Before that, they had told her that they were going to visit their grandmother in the provinces. In no more than two days, he would probably return. But this is already the third day. She called them both. But they told me that they couldn't go back yet because Grandma was sick.

And the uncle who takes care of Grandma is still unable to come home from work. So I asked Karn's mother and father to help take care of him.

But she knew that this was Grandma's plan.

"Grandma, I'd like to quarantine my father and mother for now. It's been a while since I came to visit. Next time, come see Grandma. Hehe." The troublesome grandmother called her grandchild in the evening. After my niece came back from school

“Why are my parents always stuck with Grandma's? Grandma is my father's mother. But I'm also my father's daughter. I want justice for the black-eyed youth as well,” Karn joked. She has been close to her grandmother since childhood. When talking, it is very friendly.

“But I've grown into a woman, my dear niece. Grandma is already a close relative. I don't know what day I die tomorrow. I wish that grandma could see her children's and grandchildren's faces often and she would be able to sleep peacefully and be able to live with her grandchildren's grandfather."

Before long, he pulled out his dead stick and used it. Karn had to give in every time Grandma said something like this, "Okay, but just for one more day."

“Thank you very much, Grandma. May God protect you. In any case, don't forget to lock the house door tightly. Don't let anyone into the house late at night, dear grandchild. That's all." The voice on the other end of the line sounded cheerful but also filled with concern before hanging up.

Kan is not afraid of thieves breaking into the house. Not afraid of criminals or anyone else coming in and invading. She trusts the CCTV and security systems in her home. Including Kitty A Bangkaew dog that she also raised. which guarantees fierceness Just when someone passed in front of her house, they jumped into the gate.

But if you tell him to stop, he will obey docilely. If I get close to someone, I will go and cuddle with that person. Sometimes I wonder if it's really the same dog.

The thing that Kan fears most is separation from the person he loves. Whether it be through death or separation from each other. Just thinking about it made me feel a pain in my left chest like I was being stabbed with a knife. And tears will fall without realizing it That was the main reason she didn't want to be away from her parents. And was soft-hearted every time Grandma talked about death.

"...I'm saying goodbye now, Kaew Kosum...oh...oh..."

Kan brought his mind back to the present again. She turned her head to the computer screen and listened intently to the slowly playing music, the gentle sound of a fiddle. The sound of the dulcimer being carefully beaten until it made a sound that was pleasing to the ear. The sound of rhythmic cymbals striking Mixed with the sounds of other Thai musical instruments and the sweet, sweet voice of the singer, it was so beautiful to listen to.

Many people thought she was strange. Whether it's older relatives who come to visit her house or see her at various gatherings, even friends at school, they say she's old-fashioned and likes old-fashioned things that aren't modern. Teenagers these days don't listen to old songs because of that. Others saw Kan as a strange and quiet person.

So there weren't many people who wanted to hang out with her. But there are still many people who praise her as an example of a youth who knows how to preserve Thainess. with many others who did not interfere with her personal preferences Then approach her with friendliness and sincerity.

In addition to liking to listen to traditional Thai music. Kan also likes other Thai things, such as garlands, Bai Sri, potpourri dancing, Thai musical instruments, Thai dance, Thai houses, and many other Thai cultures that have existed since ancient times or mixed with foreign cultures.

Karn slowly began to close his eyes. He didn't know if it was from eating too much dinner or listening to his favorite songs on the soft bed. She felt comfortable and calm. Tomorrow morning, Mom and Dad might come back. I hope that Grandma will stay with the two of them until they are satisfied. and then allow them to come back

“Ring, ringing, ringing…!”

Suddenly, the ringing sound from the phone on the desk rang out, completely drowning out the music. Karn immediately sprang to his feet with closed eyes. It's already this late. Who called to interrupt your happy time?

Kan got up and picked up his cell phone to look at it. Then he pursed his lips and rolled his eyes and looked up. The screen showed a picture of a bright little girl with light brown braids. White and pink skin looks radiant Wearing the same school uniform as her. Above shows the name Rosarin. She has a good appearance but likes to act silly all the time. Kan thought as he looked at Rin's picture. Then press to answer the phone.

“Hello, Grandma Chanikarn. I don't know if I called to disturb Grandma's sleeping time or not. Keekkkk."

At the other end of the line, you are greeted with a sense of humour. Rin likes to tease that Karn acts like an old man. So she nicknamed her "Grandma", while Kan often called Rin "Miss Salung".

"Oh...Miss Salung, why did you call me so late at night?"

“Oh… you evil friend! Call me a half-hearted person again. Just wait and see, tomorrow I'll give you betel nuts to chew at school.”

“What kind of betel nut? Betel nut?”

"oh! There's only chewing gum. Haha. The betel nut you said there isn't any in my area. Haha."

Karn and Rin like to crack jokes all the time. The conversation was so hilarious because Rin is Kan's closest friend. In addition, among her friends there is Ai Peng, a temple student who likes to act bold, Fern, who loves all the teachers at school, and Mae Nang Nat, a mother who loves beauty.

“Oh! I thought it was true. Is there something wrong with calling so late at night?” Karn asked again, turning to look at the computer screen where the song had come back to play for the second time.

“Nothing much. I just want to say...let me copy some of my dancing homework, hahaha." Rin laughed dryly. Even though she was a star at school and a beauty at the top of her class, her laziness deserved a gold medal.

“Here we go again! There are books. For homework, just look at the books." Kan sounded bored. However, she is always ready to help her friends.

“Ah… I forgot my book at school. I went to ask for a copy from Miss Fern, but she wouldn't let me. As for Nat, she kept quiet and disappeared. I don't know where she went. That's why I came to ask you." Rin made a pleading noise. I hope Kan has some sympathy for her.

“What about Ai Peng? How could you forget to ask for it?”

“Oh! That one doesn't need to be talked about. It's still asking for a copy of mine. But the work has to be submitted tomorrow. You know what Teacher Suda is like if she doesn't have work to turn in. Huh…”

Teacher Suda's dance subject If anyone doesn't have work to submit or work hasn't been completed. You will not be hit or have points deducted. But the master dance must be done for everyone in the class to watch once. If anyone can't do it, the teacher will have them practice again until they can do it. Rin had danced 2-3 times before, acting so awkwardly that she couldn't help but laugh. Karn had never been caught. Because she always completes every job.

“I can let you copy it…but I mean look at it in a book.”

"Alas! What is this? It doesn't help at all. Your kindness is probably as small as ant droppings.”

Rin made a noise like a child who was about to cry when her mother refused to buy her a toy. Kan immediately responded. “I don't want it. Otherwise, I will go back to sleep.”

"Come on, come on, oh...my friend is so considerate."

Kan then went to pick up his bag. Zippered it open and pulled out a dance book. She opened the pages with costumes for the male, female, giant, and monkey characters, then took pictures of each page and sent them to Rin, who was waiting.

“But…I'm not deaf, right? It's like hearing the same old Thai song. Or am I staying with you until the song haunts my ears? Bruh!”

"crazy! I listen to music in my room alone.”

“Oh…and your mom and dad have come home yet? If you haven't come yet, Let me spend another night at your house as a friend.”

Rin offered, hoping to copy Karn's homework.

“You don't have to come. You've made me sleepless for two nights. I just lay there and watched the series, laughing and laughing. Suddenly I started crying. This doesn't even include the sound of your snoring,” Kan complained in a series of complaints until the listeners were shocked.

"Oh, I can't go. Wow. Look, I'm so embarrassed that I'm going to bury my face in the ground." Rin told Kan before saying his final sentence. "Anyway, thank you very much, my dear friend. I'm going now, so I can quickly do my homework and go watch the series. Sweet dreams, good night, Grandma."

“Oh, good night,” Kan replied before the other end of the line hung up.

Kan put the phone on the table. Then he sat in a gray swivel armchair. She opened a book on dance. Look at the costumes of the male and female characters.

“The monk wears a siraphon as Chadasina. Then she wore a crown. I am really confused. Sometimes I hear people call her headgear a Chadakan,” Karn muttered to himself.

It's almost midnight. Kan checked the security cameras and found that nothing unusual had happened. Kitty slept well. So she went downstairs to drink water and go to the bathroom to get ready for bed.

Suddenly the rain fell even though there were no rain clouds forming before. So she closed every window in the house until she was sure it was completely closed. Then she walked up the stairs and into her bedroom.

“...Pleasantly fragrant. The fragrance isn't there yet. The meat smells depraved and out of date...oh...me...”

The sound of traditional Thai music accompanies the sound of falling rain. What a combination. The weather was cool. Karn began to feel that her body was light and very relaxed. before leaning down on the bed with the sound of the last part of the Lao Duang Duean song still ringing in her ears.

“Fragrant, outdated meat…oh…me…”

“Sisters, your garland is almost finished. My sister's potpourri is also finished. You're slower than me, hehe."

The girl's cheerful voice flashed into Kan's ears. Whose voice is it? Then why haven't I woken up yet? Karn thought to himself.

“Long, I already told you that when making garlands or making potpourri, you have to do it slowly. You have to be meticulous and meticulous. The work will come out beautifully.”

Another girl's voice sounded. It's like they're girls in their early years. Their voices are so sweet. But how did they come to my room? Or maybe they've been tricked by a ghost. But she always prays to spread kindness before going to sleep. Just because we didn't pray for one night, are we fooling each other?

Karn began to feel conscious again and slowly opened her eyes. She found that she was not lying on the bed. But he slept on the red-brown wooden floor. Or was it a dream, she thought.

Kan began to look around at her surroundings. This place was a Thai house that she had often seen in her dreams. Normally, if she dreamed about it, she usually only saw the outside of the house. which has a high roof It has a gable and a spire. You can see the terraces and cross balconies that connect several Thai houses together. But this was the first time the girl had entered the house.

In front of Kan appeared two girls. One person looked older. She tied her hair in a ponytail. White, smooth, clean skin The other was a girl with shoulder-length hair and honey-colored skin. Both wore white scoop-neck shirts. Wearing a bright red loincloth It must be a dance practice outfit, Karn thought, similar to the kids in the dance club at her school.

The two of them were sitting garlands of fresh flowers on a wide mat. There are trays of various flowers, such as gardenias, jasmine, dahlias, marigolds, and amaranths. And various types of Thai flowers are lined up. Next to it are jars of dried flowers that have been processed until they are fragrant, gauze bags, and bottles of baking water and cooking water.

and other equipment used for making potpourri and dancing It is a Thai product used to remove musty odors and make them smell good in closets or rooms.

It was probably the voices of the two brothers that Kan heard. Both of them seem unable to see her. and are concentrating on their craft.

“Younger said that yours is beautiful already, and yours…” The younger one held up a garland and potpourri for his elder to see. Then he glanced at his older sister's hand, who was stringing a winding jasmine garland. Even though it's not completely finished yet, it looks flawless. As for my sister's gardenia flower garland, I couldn't tell what shape it was.

Looks rather strange than beautiful. And the potpourri was filled with huge, doodles of dried flowers that didn't look like they had any form at all.

“Hmph!” The younger sister put down her work and pouted. She ran her fingers over the nearby flower trays, tears filling her eyes as if she were about to cry.

Her older sister turned to look and chuckled fondly.

“Little brother, Why are you making your face like that? You won't be beautiful," the older sister said to Laong. Ready to see the sister's response.

“You're not pretty anymore. Whether it's the face or the steering wheel I can't compete with Brother Laor at all,” La-ong said to Laor in a trembling voice.

The older sister looked at her younger sister with warm eyes. She smiled slightly and stood up. He disappeared into another room. The younger sister looked up and couldn't see her older sister, so she wondered. She walked over and looked at that room. I looked down at the bottom of the house but couldn't find it. And then her older sister came back with a tray of Thong Yip, Thong Yod, and jackfruit seeds.

Laor placed the tray near the spray and picked up a jackfruit seed snack and said, “Sweet and delicious like this, if you don't eat it you will regret it. But it seems that people around here are not very happy. And probably won't want to eat you either. I wonder if I'll be able to eat just one of you.”

Lor ate the jackfruit snack in his hand. Then she chewed slowly. She looked at her younger sister, who was staring at the tray of snacks, and at her, who was eating the snacks with gusto.

"Um...sweet, nutty, delicious. Once you eat it, you'll never forget it."

Finally, the mist slowly moved closer to him. Then he gave me big, sparkling eyes.

“Little sister, I accept it. Can I have some snacks too, pretty sister?”

“Then I must promise you first that You will never be jealous of others and look down on yourself like this again.” Lao stretched out his pinky finger towards the sitting mistress, eyes widening.

"Alright, Nong Promise. I won't do that again." La-ong extended his pinky finger to interlock with his older sister's. Then he smiled so wide that his teeth could be seen. How cute and adorable, Kan thought.

The two brothers sat down and ate dessert together. The elder sister then taught how to make garlands and make potpourri dances slowly so that the younger sister could follow along. Until his sister's work began to take shape and look better (even if only slightly). Kan noticed that La-or often rubs La-ong's head with affection.

As for La-ong, he likes to hug La-or. They look like siblings who love each other very much. If I had good siblings like this, it would be good too. Karn, who was an only child, probably only thought about it for fun.

Kan looked away from the two brothers. Then she got up from the floor where she was sitting. Walking around the house, she saw that the front of the house was next to a wide canal. You can see people rowing boats passing by. There is a wooden pavilion and a gravel walkway leading towards the house. Surrounding it is a lawn with perennial trees and shrubs.

and flowers and plants decorated both around and on the house. What she could see were gooseberry trees, bougainvillea, dahlias, Chuan Chuen, betel nuts, a little girl with powder. and all kinds of plants that she knew, didn't know, or couldn't remember the names of. It looks so shady and nice to live in, Kan thought to himself.

The girl continued exploring and saw banana forests, rice fields, and mountains far away on one side of the house. It was the most beautiful view she had ever seen in her life. Kan looked out from another angle and saw a market where people were walking around. Next we saw a village and a temple. The clothing and buildings here seem to have passed from the Ayutthaya period.

Karn thought she might be dreaming about the middle Rattanakosin period. That's right, she was finally able to use the knowledge from her favorite Thai history class. But this is a dream. There may be something distorted from reality.

This time Kan walked into the different rooms of the red-brown teak house. If this isn't a dream She would have already been charged with trespassing on personal space. But her excitement and curiosity were too high to be controlled any longer.

In the first room, she saw a group of people wearing white shirts and black pants scrubbing and cleaning Thai musical instruments, both men and women. She saw musical instruments lined up, such as fiddles, fiddles, bagpipes, xylophones, cymbals, cymbals, tabon, and all kinds of other things. There was a middle-aged man who Karn thought might be the father of a Thai dance and music teacher who was lighting incense and paying respects at the table to worship the teacher, the old father, and the masked head.

There was a sign attached to the wall in one corner that read: 'Wongmalai Dance Troupe'

Karn walked out of the Thai music room. Then walked to see the next room, which was a very spacious room. There was a group of people in white shirts and red loincloths, both men and women, practicing a rhythmic dance. There was a middle-aged woman who was probably the teacher's mother and the teacher's assistant walking to provide rhythm. The people who practiced their voices continued to sing together.

“Ja Jong, Cha Ting, Jong Ting…”

Kan walked around the house and surveyed. She saw the bedroom, the prayer room, the bathroom, the living room, the storage room, the kitchen, and the disciples' rooms. Every room has a mix of old and modern Thai styles. What a good dream this was, Kan thought, feeling delighted and satisfied.

Karn took one last look at the theater that was planted next to the Thai house. Before walking around and coming back to meet the two La-Ong brothers again. She couldn't see the teacher who was walking behind her. So she was slightly startled when the teacher's mother walked past her.

“Lao La-ong, let's go practice dancing with the brothers.”

The mother called her two daughters. The two brothers then got up and followed their mother. Kan had nothing to do because the house had already been surveyed. So she decided to follow the mother and daughter in case there was anything interesting to see.

At the dance practice room, Kan saw the students and daughters of the father and mother teacher standing on two sides. Several musical instruments from the music room were brought here and arranged in circles. Then the musicians clasped their hands in salute and began playing Thai music. Male and female performers begin to walk out and dance gracefully. This is the 'Daowadung Dance'.

She had also seen her friend Fern dance to this song during school events. It sounds beautiful and the dancing is very beautiful.

Laor Laeng, even though he was a child But they can dance in unison with others, their style is both beautiful and graceful. Karn felt strangely familiar, as if everything in this place she had seen before.

While the girl was thinking about it, Suddenly, a bright white light flashed that hurt the eyes. Until she had to narrow her eyes and put her hand up to cover her. Her surroundings changed from daytime to full moon night. Kan saw the people before him all sitting on the ground. Only the teacher's father and mother were seated in chairs that were slightly higher than the others.

Among the people, there was a young girl sitting crouched in the middle. It was Lao. Kan turned to look at the group of people sitting and watching Lao. Saw Laot sitting on the lap of a young man who was considered to be quite good-looking.

Everyone sitting in the Thai orchestra, including Lao, raised their hands to pay respects to teachers according to tradition and the music began to play again.

"When the wind blows The wind carried the scent of golden manda. Oh my...the tallest tree. Don't fight Pong...no one will get it...but hear the name of your destiny..."

Lor's singing voice resounded like the sound of bells. His already sweet voice was as sweet as dripping honey. Her sweet voice mesmerizes those who hear it. When the sound of Thai music joins in with Laor's singing, it becomes even more beautiful and difficult to forget.

“...Competing only in the sky. A group of Bhumrajs with all their wisdom...”

Although the light from many bulbs may not be very bright. Or even just a little bit of the moonlight shining in, but here there was light from the singing voice of Lao that completely drowned out the darkness in my heart. Like the morning light that brings light to a dark world.

The song that Lor sang was one of the three songs that Kan named as his favorite songs. Which is called 'Lao Kham Hom'. Listening to your favorite songs in this atmosphere and listening to them sing live is the happiest thing for a fan like you.

Karn sat down and listened near his father and mother who sat on woven rattan chairs with backrests. She saw La-ong's face dazed but still listening intently to her sister singing. The older brother who let Lat sit on her lap seemed to ask her, Are you going to bed yet? But the little boy shook his head and continued listening to the song.

The more you listen, the more you enjoy it. Karn felt mesmerized by the music. If this wasn't a dream, she would probably fall asleep because she was lulled by the song. She looked at Lor, who was singing with a small smile, bright eyes, furry eyelashes, and a small, well-shaped nose. and the mouth is a pale pink chestnut. She's a very beautiful person.

Kan thought as he examined Lau's face. And the musicians who played Thai music were really good at playing it.

“Songklod, beautiful and fresh.

Saeng Thong Song La Dear Kwantariam..."

When the song reaches its final verse Kan accidentally clapped his hands loudly. But it was good that no one could hear her or see her. Otherwise, she would have been so embarrassed that she would have ducked and fled like Rin did when she saw her friends from another school who had just finished their xylophone competition. Then she accidentally screamed loudly like she was going to a concert, causing the others to laugh a lot.

She saw the dust falling asleep on the lap of a handsome young man. Lau and the musicians finished their performance and clasped their hands in worship again. Then the music continued to play another song. Lao bid farewell to his fellow musicians, and they nodded in response. Lor walked up to the young man. They exchanged a few words and then woke up Laong. Then the older sister took her younger sister's hand to come to the teacher's father and mother who were sitting in a chair near Kan.

“Mom and Dad, I want to take my little one to bed first.”

The father nodded and patted the little girl's head. As for the mother, she said, "Go, son, and hurry back and sing a few more songs."

“Yes, Mom,” Lor responded and took Lat, who had a sleepy face and was rubbing her eyes, back into the bedroom. So the parents and teachers continued to sit and listen to Thai music playing.

Karn has the feeling that La-ong is similar to her in many ways, both in appearance and personality. Except for Karn's cheerfulness, which was not even half of the amount. Maybe the mist had something to do with her.

Soon a light flashed again. This time around, it was daytime, but the sky was overcast. There were clouds completely blocking the sun. Kan saw a young man and a young woman walking up the front steps of the house. Both of them were neatly and beautifully dressed, like in the television dramas that her parents liked to watch, which was a throwback to the reigns of King Rama 5 and 6.

They walked hand in hand towards the teacher who was chewing betel nuts. As for the teacher's mother, she was sitting making banana leaf baisri. The two of them sat on a long, golden-brown wooden table.

“Say hello to your father, teacher and mother.” A young man and a young woman came and sat on the floor. Then both pay respects to the elders at the same time. Parents and teachers also accept their respects. She could clearly see the faces of the two of them, similar to that of the young man who had let Lat sit on her lap. They are all grown up now. And it looks like these two are a couple.

“Come and visit the house early in the morning. Is there something wrong with Father Krai and Mother Lao?” Father Teacher asked with doubt. But the teacher's mother sat and patted the teacher's father's leg gently.

“Our daughter and son-in-law regularly come to visit our house. What questions do you want to ask, Father?”

"Oh...today they came early in the morning, so I thought they had something important to tell us." The teacher's father said to his wife, the teacher's mother, with a look on his face. So did I say something wrong?

“Yes, Father. You have something important to tell your parents. Uh...so where did this drop go?" Lau looked around for his own sister. Her long, flowing hair, beautifully decorated, swayed as the wind blew.

“Probably going to practice dancing in the practice room. But mother ordered me to bring floating jasmine water for father to drink. It will probably come soon.”

“Then let's get to the point.” The teacher didn't hesitate to ask how he was doing. Hurry and get to the point immediately.

“I will ask Mae Lao to go live with me in Phra Nakhon. I have received a royal job and must go take care of Father's dance troupe as well. In my house here, I have Uncle Prasarn move in and take care of it."

Krai told his father-in-law eloquently. His left hand gently and caressed Long's right hand. They both made eye contact and smiled at each other. It was really sweet. Karn rolled his eyes and looked up.

“Ruangrittha Dance Troupe? who was famous in the city and went to dance in the palace as well, right? Father Krai?” Mother Teacher asked with excitement. Until the teacher turned around and stared at his wife. The teacher who was about to speak became silent.

“Yes, mother. Therefore, I have come to ask permission from both of you.” Krai answered his mother-in-law in a tone that sounded pleasant.

Kan noticed a young girl walking from behind the house carrying a tray of bowls. She had shoulder-length hair, honey-colored skin, and bright eyes. In a dance practice outfit, a white basketweave shirt, and a red loincloth. That's right, the mist is coming this way. Kan felt a strange foreboding, as if something was going to happen.

“Let's go, Mae Lao. Father has given me permission. Anyway, take good care of Mae Lao, Father Krai. Don't let it be lacking in anything. Otherwise, I definitely won't keep you,” the teacher told Krai and Lao. Then he laughed softly, then picked up the cream-colored potty and spit out the chewed betel nut into it. The teacher's mother added,

“My dear son, when you are far from home, you must concentrate on doing your duty as a wife and daughter-in-law well. As for Father Krai, I hope that you will prosper in your career and take good care of each other. Well, good luck, son. Don't forget to come back and visit. What about our house?" Krai and Lao bowed down to their father and mother. The teacher's mother had tears in her eyes as she stroked the hair of her son-in-law and daughter.

“My brother Lao must not go anywhere!”

A loud shout broke through the still air. Until Kan felt his heart drop. Laeng placed the tray on the wooden table with a loud noise. Then he stomped on the floor and walked towards the four people.

“P'Krai, P'Laor, why didn't you ask my opinion? Are you going to leave me without telling me or not talking about it at all?”

La-ong spoke to Krai and Lao. Young man Krai's face was embarrassed, while Laor looked like he was about to say something. But was interrupted by the teacher's father.

“Don't act like a child. You are the wife of your father Krai, your brother-in-law. He will go to live in Bangkok. Lao must follow along too. Learn to use your head to think and grow up.” The teacher's mother heard this and came to rebuke her husband.

“Why do you tell me, son? The child will be disappointed.” The teacher responded. “Because I think like this. That's why Mae Pranom is so spoiled.” Kan saw many of the group's students starting to prowl from the doors of the various rooms and come out onto the balcony. You probably heard the voices of La-ong and Father Teacher. So they came to see what really happened.

Krai took a deep breath. Then turned to look at Lao. He then spoke to Laot in a repentant tone.

“It's my fault. For thinking of taking your sister away from you without telling her. I know that you are very attached to your older sister. If you tell her, I'm afraid that she won't let him go with you.”

“Telling sooner is better than not telling. And I'm angry that you guys didn't consider my feelings. Father, too!” La-ong continued to criticize until the noise became louder and each word became more and more violent, until the teacher had to bang his cane loudly on the floor. Then he stood and pointed at the face of his youngest daughter.

“You stop raising your voice to adults right now, La-ong. I didn't raise you to behave like this!” The teacher shouted at his daughter. Until Laeng cried and sobbed and collapsed to sit on the floor.

Lor saw this and looked at her father's face alternating with her husband's. Ready to frown The person being watched realized this and cleared his throat and turned away. She hugged her beloved sister tenderly.

“Long, please listen to me first.” Laor wiped away the younger man's tears.

"Huh...no one...understands...huh...little sister." La-ong cried and moaned with regret.

"I'm afraid I'll lose you...hehe...I'm afraid I'll never see you again."

Kan unconsciously cried and felt a pain in his left chest, like it was being stabbed with thousands of needles. She understands this feeling. This was what she feared the most. 'Separation from loved ones'

Laol rubbed his little brother's head with affection. Then tell the reason in a soft voice that makes the listener feel calm and calm.

“I don't want to leave this house. I don't want to leave my parents. I don't want to leave our group. And that is the most important. It's about leaving my beloved sister."

“Even though I'm married, I have a house and a family of my own. However, I still come to visit this Wongmalai residence continuously. That is with love, nostalgia, and concern. Now I really have to go because Krai's father is seriously ill. He therefore intended to return as soon as possible.”

Lor said to the mist that had begun to calm down. and turned to her husband who had turned away. Kan noticed that his eyes and nose were red. and was breathing irregularly

“Can't you go? Let Brother Krai go to Phra Nakhon to take care of his father. After Brother Krai's father recovers from his illness, can you please let Brother Krai come back?"

La-ong spoke to his sister with pleading eyes. Her older sister smiled fondly at her.

“At first I thought so. But Brother Krai received a job as a clerk in the capital. I have to go to work and write a book for Phichit Highway. So I had to go live next to him. Do you understand?”

La-ong nodded insincerely, so Lao continued.

“I promise to send you letters back as often as possible. and will come back to visit the house several times a month Along with buying some delicious snacks and nice clothes to give to the little ones as well.”

“Brother Lao made a promise to you. Don't go back on your word. Do as I have said.” La-ong held up his pinky finger to his older sister.

"Yes, I promise you, I will definitely never go back on my word." Lao extended his pinky finger and intertwined it with La-ong's pinky finger, smiling through tears. The teacher wiped away her tears with a lacy handkerchief and blew her nose so loudly that the teacher sitting next to her was startled. The teacher was grateful when she saw her two daughters understand each other so well and everything returned to normal.

When everything has calmed down La-ong went to pay respects to his father and mother. Both of them do not hold back blame and are forgiving. Then La-or had Krai and La-ong apologize to each other. Karn saw this and secretly laughed softly, because it was like a mother ordering two stubborn children who were arguing with each other to apologize to each other. After a while, Laor and Krai said goodbye to everyone in the dance troupe.

She hugged her sibling one last time before waving goodbye and heading down the stairs with her husband. Everyone then dispersed to go about their own business. Only the mist was left standing and watching as my sister and brother-in-law boarded a boat and crossed the canal to the other side until they were out of sight.

Suddenly, the entire Thai house shook violently. Karn couldn't keep his balance so he fell to the ground.

“Earthquake? In a place like this,” Kan said out loud. The surroundings she saw continued to shake and the surrounding scenery changed.

Karn found himself standing in La-ong's bedroom. Framed black and white photo of Laeng and her family. lined up along the room walls Kan just came to notice that La-ong's room is set up similar to her bedroom. Just look back in time.

Karn saw La-ong reading a letter on an old wooden table and saw her smiling happily. Then she hurriedly wrote a cheerful reply. And then the earthquake happened again and the picture changed. Kan sees Laon who has grown up and gotten married in this house. The face looks smiling and cheerful. Karn looked at everyone at the event but didn't see Lao at all. After work ended, she saw A-Long secretly sitting alone crying and looking around as if longing for someone.

Then the picture cuts away. She sees La-ong becoming a mother, a dance teacher, having grandchildren, and having a good family. The ancient Thai houses that Karn had seen began to become more modern until they became modern Thai houses. Everything seemed smooth and peaceful. But she saw mist's eyes that almost always radiated sadness, which made everything around her look sad as well.

The picture changed again. Karn saw an old woman sitting and worshiping in the Buddha room. He wears round glasses. In Phanom's hand was a lotus bud. The grandmother then bowed to the ground. Then place the lotus in front of the altar table, which has a vase with fresh flowers, incense sticks, candles, and a Buddha image in the posture of Maravichai. The old woman turned and spoke to her grandchildren sitting behind her.

"I want to listen to Lao Siang Thian. Today is Buddhist Holy Day. If I listen to this song, it would be appropriate."

Kan already remembered who the old woman in front of him was, La-ong. She followed Grandma La-ong outside. Then he saw Laeng pick up a picture of a girl that was on a glass cabinet. Then, they sat on cream-colored armchairs in a luxurious and spacious hall where many Thai and international musical instruments were arranged on the floor.

The room was decorated beautifully. There are chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Kan saw many musicians taking up positions for the instruments they would play. There was a conductor standing in front of him and he was waving a long rod in his hand.

“Two gold candle incense sticks in hand. Jai Jai Wan Ta…” There were male and female singers singing in unison in one corner of the room.

Grandma La-ong sat and listened with satisfaction and hugged the picture she had picked up to look at. Kan saw that La-ong had tears in her eyes. You gently closed your eyes. She could clearly hear the old woman's muttering, despite how loud the music was.

“I miss you so much. Even though there is no merit in this life, But I hope that in the next life I will be able to meet you, Brother Lao.”

Kan felt strangely shocked, as if this was a farewell sentence...

“...Excellent wisdom. He discovered the truth..."

The song being played and sung is one of Karn's three favorite songs. It was the third complete song that she had listened to both while she was awake and in her dreams. No, she was starting to think that this wasn't a dream. But it is the story of the life or memories of a person named La-ong. And who showed these images to her?

Grandma La-ong called her grandchildren to sit next to her and held her little grandchild in a hug while holding the picture in her hand. Sit and listen to the music playing intently.

“His Majesty is pure and excellent. Teach people to escape suffering..."

When the song reaches its final verse Grandma Laong's descendants were in a panic. Including the musicians and singers in the hall, they were all in an uproar. Many people cried and called out to Grandma Laong. Many people went to hug him. Now only a breathless body remains.

Kan felt very much pain in his heart. Now she couldn't hold back the tears any longer. Tears streamed down both cheeks until they were soaked. She sank to the floor and sobbed, crying to the point of death.

that feels familiar and connected Because this is Karn's past life. She understands and remembers everything. She is the atom, and the atom is you.

Kan sat and cried for a long time. Then she began to feel the air getting colder. All around her, there was nothing but a thick white mist. She pulled herself out of her sadness and wiped away her tears. The girl stood up and looked around curiously.

“Terng treng treng treng...treng...”

The sound of a xylophone rumbling echoed throughout the area. Followed by the sound of the bagpipe, the sound of the gongwong, the tabor, and the drum playing to the rhythm of a rapid-fire song.

“Eh...eh...Chuichai. Going up to see you will scream...”

There was a woman's voice singing and singing beautifully. Along with the sound of crashing cymbals, the rhythm is accompanied by other Thai musical instruments.

The white mist began to clear as a cool breeze blew past. Then there was the scent of fresh Thai flowers blowing in the breeze. Karn saw that she was standing on the floor of the same Thai house where Lao and La-ong used to sit and lay garlands and make potpourri and dance.

Kan slowly followed the sound of Thai music as she walked. The wind would blow away the white mist as she headed.

She descended the stairs from the house and saw the shadows of people dancing to music near the wooden pavilion on the pier.

“...Step in front of you, the shape-shifter. Make it delicate and similar to the color of the color...”

When Kan came down to the grass area So she could clearly see the person performing the act. She was a dancer, dressed in costumes similar to those in the dance textbooks, nothing out of the ordinary. She wore a golden crown with red flowers and roses on it, looking exquisitely beautiful. There was a red blanket with green trim and a green sash with a stunning pattern.

Wear jewelry such as bracelets, anklets, pendants, and other accessories with sparkling Thai patterns. Perfect for Orachorn's slender figure and beautiful face like that of an Apsara queen. She wore makeup mixed with soft white powder and looked outstanding and beautiful. both beautiful eyelashes Meticulously drawn eyebrows and a red chestnut-shaped mouth

They are walking and dancing, drawing various patterns so gracefully that they cannot take their eyes off.

But her face was filled with tears. and an indifferent expression showed a dull look in his eyes.

Kan is very familiar with this dancer's face. When the dancer turned her head to see her clearly. So he learned that the dancer that Kan saw was Lao.

The sound of Thai music returns to play faster. Then come back to the chant again.

“...Mother Sri Aey, Mother Sri Rakshasi

Mae Pang Organic I am Sri Sita's mother...”

Karn finally remembered this performance. This was a Chuichai dance called 'Chuichai Benchakai Dance' which came from a Khon performance in the Ramayana, the Nang Loi series. Benjakai, his daughter She went to cut off the battle by transforming into Sita and pretending to be dead and floating in the water to Rama's pavilion.

The dancers will show off the characters' dance moves with a solo dance. See your own beauty. Karn was very impressed and happy to go see the theater for the first time with her grandmother when she was 6 years old, and that was the beginning that made her feel this love of Thainess.

Kan thought for a moment before deciding to call Lor. She was startled by the sound that didn't belong to her. But it was Mae Laong's voice. And now Karn has turned into a young girl named La-ong!

The dancer stopped dancing. Then, a bright white light flashed from her body. She changed into a young woman with a beautiful face, tied her hair in a ponytail, wore a white t-shirt and a red loincloth, which was a Thai dance practice outfit. Lao looked at his beloved sister with flowing tears and a warm smile.

The two brothers hugged each other with longing and mourning. Karn in La-ong's body felt the warmth of Lao's embrace like her mother's embrace.

Then La-or walked hand-in-hand with La-on and went to sit at the pavilion. Then he sat and smiled a little, looking at his sister. But her tears continued to flow.

“Nong Rak Laong I'm sorry I couldn't keep the promise I made to you. I'm sorry, I really did wrong.” The woman lowered her head and rubbed her other arm with one hand. Tears dripped onto the floor, wetting the entire area.

Her both hands grabbed her older sister's shoulders, making her sit up straight, and wiped away the tears that had fallen on Lao's cheeks.

“Little sister, I'm not angry at you. But I just want to know. Why don't you contact me and come back to visit your younger sibling with his parents? My younger sister went out looking for me all over the capital but couldn't find him.”

Karn in La-ong's body naturally speaks the language of the past. That's right, La-ong and you are the same person.

Lao was silent for a moment before telling the story of when she went to live with her husband. Lao said that she intended to be a good wife to her husband and a good daughter-in-law to take care of her father-in-law. In addition, Laor also helps teach students in the Rueangrittha dance troupe. Therefore, there are people who love and admire her and people who are malicious and jealous of her as well.

One day, Laor was locked by a group of people in a golden teak house in her bedroom. And at that moment a fire broke out. Lau couldn't find a way outside the room so he burned to death. The matter of her death was kept quiet so that it would not be revealed. There were only reports of fires and stolen property, with Lao being accused of being the culprit.

After that, she became an evil spirit with only revenge, haunting many people who killed or involved in her death. and became a dancing ghost hovering around that dance hall until the people in the troupe and the nearby villagers were frightened.

By the time she was able to relieve herself of her vengeance, a considerable amount of time had passed. Her husband went to become a monk and then returned to release and spread kindness to the young ghost. But she still cares, so she has become a ghost who waits for the day.

“Then I met Nong. La-ong...my beloved younger sister. It's been such a long time…”

This time, La-ong cried loudly and blamed it on her own fault for not being able to keep her sister from meeting such a terrible fate.

“Shh...don't cry, don't cry. This isn't your brother's fault. But it is my own karma. At that time, the older brother's merit was very small, so he could not touch the younger one. Come now, my time has come. Because of the merit that I have accumulated, I was able to send you to meet with you.”

Lao embraced his sister again before raising her hands to her chest.

"Now I'm no longer worried...will you be able to forgive me or not?"

La-ong stood up and folded his hands in return. “Little sister, forgive me. I beg your forgiveness."

Suddenly, a cloud of golden light shimmered on Lau's body. Her body seemed to be fading away. In Lao's hand he held a garland of jasmine flowers. She handed it to her sister. La-ong took it. Her older sister patted her head affectionately and smiled happily before bidding her final farewell.

“Goodbye, La-ong. My beloved younger sister I wish you to experience only happiness forever, no matter what life you are in.”

"Yes, P'Lor."

At this moment, Lao's body was about to turn into a shimmering light that had completely disappeared. Only her face remained.

“Then we will meet again, Chanikarn.”

Lor's voice echoed in Kan's ears. The young girl woke up on her bed in a dark room with a blanket covering her.

She had returned to her own bedroom. She looked at the computer that had been turned off and the air conditioner that was not too cold. The girl thought that her parents must have come home and saw her sleeping rough. The lights had not gone out and the computer had not been turned off. Kan therefore thought that in the morning he would definitely prepare to be scolded until his ears were numb.

As he looked at the desk clock that glowed in the dark it said 4:35 AM.

Kan doesn't care about anything anymore. Now she was very grateful for what she had experienced. Even though it may be just a dream, a vision, or reality. Then Kan fell asleep again without noticing the fresh jasmine garland placed on the head of her bed.
