The sound of the piano reverberated inside the church as slender fingers pressed down each note, softly humming the song they were playing along with it.

Hendery's love of playing the piano has been ever since he could remember coming to church on Sundays. He liked the church choir and the beautiful songs played on the piano, but because his family did not support him and did not have much financial means, he dreamed of having a piano at home or becoming a pianist. His career ended, but he still loved the sound of the piano more than anything else.

The old piano from the village church was where he always practiced.

Hendery came to the church every day to do what he loved. Sometimes I forget the time until it's late at night.

The sound of applause after he finished playing a song made Hendery turn towards the source of the sound.

The owner of the applause was a young man who was probably around his age. He smiled at Hendery and stood up from the long chair in the middle of the church and walked to the corner of the room where the piano stood.

“It's good, but it's still playing across the rhythm in this part.”

The other party lightly tapped the sheet music paper in front of him with his finger.

“Yes, thank you.” Henry nodded even though he had been playing for many years. He himself was just practicing on his own and had never studied seriously before, so it was not strange that there would be errors. The young man picked up a piece of sheet music and stood up from the piano chair.

“Uh, that is, if you don't mind. Can you play this part for me?”

"..." There was no answer from the other party. There were only fierce eyes looking back at him.

“Well, I'm not bothering you, I just want to know how it's played here.” Henry waved his hand around and laughed lightly to relieve his embarrassment, for fear that the other party would misunderstand and get angry. Instead, the young man sat down on the chair in front of the piano and slowly put his hand on the piano wedge and began to play a song.

The slender fingers pressed rhythmically and fluidly on the wedge of the piano. Hendery concentrated on the other's actions, he was mesmerized by the rhythm of the playing, like he was mesmerized.

"you"

“This is you.”

A call from the other party caused Hendery to look up from the piano and meet the eyes of the owner of the voice.

“Yes.”

“The part where you play astride the rhythm. It has to be played like this.”

A slender hand presses to play a note as an example.

“Ah, I played half a beat too late.”

"yes"

“But it's awesome. You play very well. I think I need to practice my fingers more.” Hendery raised his hand before gently moving his fingers and giving the other person a smile.

“You've never taken piano lessons. On those notes you also draw a scale. 5 lines and take notes yourself.”

“I study with Google.”

“Where is the right thing like that? Some of the notes are even mixed up.”

"That's it, haha. Well, it's the easiest way to find information. I don't have the money to study piano at the music school in town. Today, I have to go back and clean the cowshed and prepare milk to sell."

Hendery said as he dropped his gaze to the ground and let out a sigh before coming to his senses.

"Uh...sorry for complaining about things like this to you. Haha. I'll be back first. Don't stay up late. He said that at the church late at night the ghosts are not very fierce.”

"wait a minute"

A call from the other party made Hendery turn around and look.

"yes"

"I'll teach you. Teach you the piano."

"Ha ha ha. I told you before that I don't have money to pay."

Hendery gave a soft smile.

"No need. I don't need your money."

“Yes, and you—“

“Xiao Dejun, but it's better to call me Xiao Jun. You come here every day to play the piano, right?”

"Yes, I'm Henry."

Hendery reached out and gently shook the other's hand.

“Did Mr. Xiaojun just come here?”

“I have been here a long time.”

“Oh, so Mr. Xiaojun is a pianist?”

"no"

“But Mr. Xiaojun was really good just now, I was lost.”

“I've never seen anyone play the piano so well before. I'm thrilled that Mr. Xiaojun agreed to teach me.”

"um"

With cheerfulness, Hendery asked about Xiao Jun's story in order to get to know the other person better, like making new friends. But the other party answered and sometimes didn't answer. Even so, he was still not angry and always sent a smile to the other party.

Every day, Xiaojun and Hendery would meet at the church. Xiaojun would teach Hendery the piano. Every time the other party was intent on teaching and playing the piano, it made Hen Derry was so fascinated by the other party's serious expression that he became distracted and often got scolded.

And today, Xiao Jun is going to let him take the piano exam. The same song Hendery had played across the beat when they first met.

Hendery sat on a long chair in the middle of the church and held his hands together. The young man closed his eyes and asked God for a blessing to pass the piano exam.

“God can't help you play the piano, Guan Heng.”

Xiaojun's voice made Henry open his eyes and look at the other party, tilting his head in question.

“Does Mr. Xiaojun know my real name?”

“I know everything about you. Stop asking and come take the exam."

Guan Heng is his real name but because he is a Christian and has been baptized. Father or the priest of the church gave him a religious name and everyone in the village preferred to call him Hendery. However, it was curious how Xiao Jun knew his real name, Hendery. Putting aside his doubts, he went to sit on the chair in front of the piano and put his slender fingers on the piano wedge, preparing to take the exam.

“Play,” Xiaojun ordered the other party.

Hendery slowly began to play the song from the piano again. He was pressured by the sight of the other person standing next to the piano, causing Hendery to make mistakes.

Feeling embarrassed to let Xiaojun look at him while playing the piano. And ashamed that he made a mistake due to nervousness, Hendery played many more wrong notes, but even then, his brain didn't understand anything anymore and just asked to finish playing.

He suddenly realized that Xiao Jun's hand was on top of his and that the other person was standing on top of his back. Xiao Jun slowly lowered his face and whispered softly.

“Be conscious, Guan Heng, didn't you tell me that God can't help you?”

Hendery felt like he was being enchanted by another person's magic.

“I teach you how. Place your finger like this. Play like this, right?”

Xiaojun took the other person's hand and pressed it onto the piano wedge.

“What are you doing to me?” Hendery asked, his voice trembling. Fear began to build in his heart.

“I taught you how to play the piano.”

“No, you know my real name. Who exactly are you?”

“Huh.”

Xiaojun took his small hand away from the piano and closed the wedge cover before picking him up from the chair in front of him and sitting on the piano so that he looked at him instead.

“I'm really asking. What exactly do you do? I've never been like this before.”

Hendery began to shake in fear. His body was all hot and cold.

"If I say I didn't do anything But it was Guan Heng's wish.”

"Why don't you call me Hendery?"

“I don't call names from God or names given to me by priests!”

Xiao Jun scolded the other person before pushing the other person's face to meet his eyes. The moment Hendery looked into the other person's eyes, these were not human eyes that he had ever seen. Those blood-red eyes made Henry try to push Xiao Jun's body away but to no avail.

“This is in the church, you devil. Get out.” Even though he dared to speak, his voice was so soft it almost disappeared into the air.

“Give it a little, Guan Heng, if you didn't have that kind of desire, would I be strong enough to enter this church?”

“I don't have any desires!”

“Life here is miserable. Nothing gets better after staying here. I have to work on a farm every day and I have to be a slave to my 3 older sisters at home who also take care of me. If I were an only child, By now he might be a pianist—"

“Stop talking!”

Hendery tried to push Xiaojun's body away from him, but he drew closer until he could feel his breath on his cheek.

“Can't you accept that there are people who understand you? Guan Heng, like in front of others, you play the role of the good prince all the time.” Xiao Jun whispered into the ear of the person beneath him again.

“Only I, Guan Heng, can understand you and make your wish come true.”

“A better life than this. He is a famous pianist.”

Xiao Jun took the other's small hand and embraced him with flirtatious words that Henry began to follow.

He had always dreamed of leaving this small village. Going to live the luxurious life in the city as a professional pianist as he had always wanted.

“Move your fingers, smart one. Play the piano the way I taught you.”

The slender fingers that were placed on Xiaojun's back slowly moved to the rhythm of Xiaojun's music, holding the other person's slender legs up and squeezing hard against the thighs.

“Ah! Xiaojun.”

“You played it wrong, good girl. How can one become a pianist like this?”

“I will teach you again. Until you remember it by heart.”

Xiao Jun moved the fingers that gripped the other person's thighs. The rhythmic pressure from the fingers drew a sweet sound from the person beneath him, so good that Xiao Jun even teasingly opened his mouth.

“Do you want to sing along in harmony, hmm?”

“Oh, not at all, ah.”

“Then would you like me to teach you how to pronounce the notes?”

Hendery shook his head and bit his lip to hold back those embarrassing sounds, but his body responded strangely to the person above.

“Kiss me please.”

“Hm.”

“Xiaojun, kiss.”

“But this is in the church, Guan Heng.”

"I don't care. Ah."

“Let's do this in church. Isn't that worse than a demon like me?"

“Stop talking so much. If you don't do it, then leave.”

Xiao Jun carried the other's body from the piano and placed it on the ceremonial altar in the middle of the church. A heavy hand lifted up Hendery's white shirt.

“Xiaojun, this can't be done.”

“There is nothing else to do in the church. Or will you make me stop?”

"no"

Hendery grabbed the other person who was pretending to pull away, Xiao Jun smiled mischievously and pushed his small body down to sleep.

“Trust me, let me teach Miss Guan Heng.”

"um"

The slender fingers placed on the other's back pressed down in time with the movements of his lower body. Henry made sweet sounds from time to time. That made Xiao Jun secretly smile in satisfaction.

“I didn't teach you to use your fingernails to play the piano, Guan Heng.”

“No, well, ah, you moved too hard!”

The sound of a piano playing mesmerized the audience throughout the hall. On the stage, a spotlight shone on the middle of the stage where a grand piano was being played beautifully by a young man.

That was an unknown number of performances after Hendery had become famous as a pianist.

He came to live in the city as he had dreamed. Live a comfortable and luxurious life.

But almost every famous musician's life was paid for by selling his soul to the devil.

and the devil named Xiao Dejun It doesn't just possess his soul. Huang Guan Heng too :)
