Tatooine, a planet filled with heat and dust. One of the planets far from the center of the galaxy. However, during this time of year the temperature drops to unusually cold levels. No one knows the exact cause. Everyone only knows that it will get colder. Everyone thought it was because the two suns set earlier than usual.

in the daytime The winds are still hot and the sandstorms are still as deadly as ever. But when night comes The atmosphere turned cold.

At this time of year Many people may be in a joyful mood. They choose to talk to people they would normally avoid. And they are happy. The only reason is because it's Christmas time. A time filled with happiness and joy for all. Even the cruel Sandman

But normally this time of year, Luke Skywalker not happy

An eight-year-old boy has spent the past eight years hoping that this would be the year his secret Christmas wish would come true. But so far that hasn't happened.

Luke was raised by Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru, who lived away from Moss. Isley and Anchorhead are a few miles away. The couple raised the young boy as if Luke were their biological child.

Still, Luke wishes to be with his father. But Luke doesn't even know his father's name. Every time Luke asks his aunt and uncle Both of them always found an excuse not to answer or change the subject. Luke doesn't understand why they keep this a secret. And the boy wants to know the truth about his father. about everything

Although Christmas time is a time of happiness Moments of joy and celebrating with family Luke didn't feel very happy. He certainly had the pleasure of experiencing his first and second Christmases when he was one and two years old. But at present he is already eight years old.

Luke wants to share it with his father.

eight year old boy He doesn't know his father. He doesn't know his mother. The only family members he knew were Uncle and Auntie. Undoubtedly, Luke loved Uncle and Auntie very much because they were the boy's family. But he needs a father. Luke is old enough to know who his father is and to understand what he is all about.

Luke glanced at the house where his aunt and uncle were now putting up Christmas decorations. Luke knew that Auntie and Uncle were always cheerful this time of year. Luke liked that his uncle was cheerful because it was good for Luke himself.

Uncle didn't like him very much and Luke didn't know why.

“Luke? Luke!” Beru called, leaning out of the house. “Come inside. Come help me finish off the last decoration.”

Luke sighed, "I'm going Auntie," he replied before turning and walking back into the house to find his uncle and aunt.

The inside of the house is decorated with different things, including the trees that stand on the edge of the house. Although the Empire rules the galaxy, Christmas Day is still legal. After all, most people hardly celebrate it at all. Because the empire was always at war.

“Auntie, why did the Empire think of canceling Christmas Day?” he asked curiously.

Beru and Owen were taken aback. before quickly sneaking glances at each other behind Luke without Luke noticing. And Luke narrowed his eyes slightly.

“I don't know,” Beru answered.

“And you shouldn't worry about what the Empire will do. There is no need to pay attention to it.”

“Why?”

Beru and Owen both sighed, they both knew, because Luke was only eight years old. If he asks a question that you really want to know When one question has been answered There will be countless questions.

“It just doesn't,” Owen finally said, breaking the silence.

“We don't need to think about that right now. Because at this time it is Christmas time.”

“Then what are you going to give me?” Luke asked about his gift in a cheerful tone.

Beru laughed, “I won't tell. You have to wait until tomorrow.”

Luke grimaced. “Yes,” he muttered.

“Why don't you go to bed quickly? When we wake up tomorrow morning, how will we feel refreshed?” Beru suggested.

The boy sighed, "Yes, Auntie," Luke said before walking past Owen and Beru and sauntering to his room. He moved into a small room within the house.

The young boy sat on the bed and shifted his gaze outside the window at the dark sky outside. It's getting dark now. The stars shine brightly against the large black background. After the two suns had disappeared behind the horizon Dark shadows began to crawl on the sand surface.

For a long time Luke sat on his bed. and only stared out at the sand before shifting his gaze up to the sky and fixing on the brighter stars surrounding it. When he remembered This planet is known to its inhabitants on Tatooine as The city's star [1] is like his symbol.

Luke thought that if he prayed to it One day he will get his wish.

[1] Venus

But in the past eight years A wish that he wanted to come true above all else. It turned out not to be true. Luke remembers how he used to spend hours staring at the city star and hoping his wish would come true. But the next day it never came true.

City stars are very unusual, especially in the Tatooine area. For some reason it only happens on Christmas Eve.

When the city star appears on Christmas Eve, few townspeople have ever seen it. Luke thought they were probably busy spending time with family and getting ready for Christmas.

Christmas will be a new festival on Tatooine that only started a few years ago. But hardly anyone celebrates it. Luke thought it might be because there was a constant war going on.

He didn't know much about the war. He knew very little, especially about the rebellion. But every time he spoke of the empire, Uncle Owen will be upset. Luke never understood why his uncle was always angry, and Luke assumed he didn't want to know why.

'At least Uncle Owen celebrates Christmas when most people don't.'

The only reason Luke likes Christmas That's because he has the gift of spending time with his family. Luke shook his head, clearing his thoughts before staring at the city star again. It shone brightly in the dark sky as usual tonight like eight years ago.

Luke closed his eyes before whispering softly.

'I wish I knew my father'

Unbeknownst to him, his thoughts had gone further than anyone could have imagined. And it had reached the heart of the man the galaxy feared most.

Darth Vader tensed slightly as the voice of a child entered his mind. That voice seemed to call to his father through the power. But Vader quickly realized that the boy was not aware that he was using the Force. Vader narrowed his eyes.

But as he tried to trace the location of the sound, He found only a blank wall, as if the power itself was hiding something.

Vader shook his head and dismissed it. He returned to his meditation. Although it was difficult to concentrate on the chaos that was taking place aboard the Executor, However, the empire did not cancel Christmas because the emperor did not believe that others would follow suit. They still spend time together and are eager to get off work to go home to their family. The enthusiasm and happiness felt by the people of the Empire caused irritation to creep up on Vader as Vader recalled the last time he felt so enthusiastic and happy.

He shook his head before pushing all thoughts back to his mind. Vader sighed and leaned back in his seat. He shouldn't be worried about it. Unless the young man became more skilled in using his powers. Still, it seemed like he couldn't locate the youth. If he can find him He would immediately plan his training in using his powers.

'But why can't I feel the location of the sound? Or maybe it's not a child? Is it possible that someone was trained in the paths of the Force without Palpatine and me knowing?'

Vader flashed a moment of surprise before shaking his head. He knew that this was impossible because the Jedi had disappeared, died, and been destroyed.

“Or maybe something like that.”

Vader said softly. And he frowned before shaking off his thoughts.

He returned to meditation. But for some reason Vader couldn't get that voice out of his mind.

Luke sighed before falling onto the bed and closing his eyes. He didn't sleep like he expected. The boy took a deep breath and tried to fall asleep. It's not as easy as you think. He rested his head on the pillow. Before that, he closed his eyes trying to sleep and before long he fell into a trance.

A trance that is similar to sleep

A long time has passed. Before Luke blinked and opened his eyes. When he awoke, he found himself in a wide open field. The grass was as tall as his ankles. There were many dense trees surrounding the clearing and a waterfall flowing nearby.

“What am I doing here?” Luke said in a low voice. He stood up and surveyed his surroundings.

"hello? Is anyone there?” the young man called out. A long time passed and only silence responded.

Luke looked around. His eyes widened and flashed with fear.

‘Where is this place?’ he wondered.

“What are you doing here, little one?” A new voice made Luke flinch with shock and fear in that voice. Luke spun around, suddenly Luke saw a dark blue shadowy figure standing at the far end of the clearing, looking at Luke with narrowed eyes.

“I-I don't know, I'm just going to sleep. L-and before I knew it, I was here." Luke stammered in response. Fear was evident in his voice.

The shadows moved closer. Luke only noticed the outline of the man.

“Strangely, only power users can access this place. Are you a Jedi?” the shadowy figure asked, Luke backing up as he sensed resentment in his voice.

“W-No, what is a Jedi?” Luke asked hesitantly.

“You don't know what a Jedi is? What is your name, young man?”

"L-Luke, Luke S-Skywalker," Luke replied, his voice shaking, his eyes filled with fear as he quickly looked around. Still not sure where he is. And Luke is panicking because he doesn't know where he is right now.

“Skywalker?” the shadow asked and Luke noticed that he was stiff with something. Angry or stunned, Luke wasn't sure.

“Yes,” Luke said.

“How did you get in here?” the shadowy man asked, and Luke noticed that his tone had softened.

“I-I really don't know. W-Where are we?” Luke asked, stammering.

The mysterious man sighed heavily.

“Come here,” he said, making a slight gesture. And Luke hesitated again. Terror clearly flashed in his eyes. He was still afraid and he didn't know where he was and he still had to face a strange man he didn't know.

“W-Who are you?”

The mysterious man hesitated. “…Call me Annie,” he finally replied after a long moment of silence.

“Don't worry, little one. I won't hurt you. No one can do harm in this place.”

“Where is this?”

“It doesn't have a name,” Annie replied.

“At least I never thought of a name.” Luke could feel the resentment still in his voice. Still, his voice became calmer, as if he was trying to control his anger. Or maybe it's because of the look? Luke isn't so sure.

He hesitated once more before walking towards Annie and he led Luke to the waterfall before sitting down and motioning for Luke to sit down with him.

“Then why are you here?” Annie asked, resentment and shock creeping back into his voice. And Luke winced slightly before moving away from Annie.

“I don't know, I'm just thinking about Christmas tomorrow. I can't help but think about my father. I wished on the stars and went to bed and then I was here,” Luke explains.

“Your father?” Annie glared at him suddenly.

“Yes, my uncle didn't tell me much about him. When I asked, he almost never told me anything about him. I think he's probably dead,” Luke replied ruefully.

Annie was silent for a long time as she stared blankly at the waterfall. “Your uncle celebrates Christmas?” he finally asked.

“Yes, he said it was the best time to spend with family. But I can't help it. I wish my father was there too. I pray to the city star every Christmas Eve that I can meet my father. But it never happened,” Luke said.

“Do you know your father's name?”

“No, every time I asked Uncle Owen, He always changes the subject or ignores me,” Luke replied.

“Owen? Owen Lars?”

Luke blinked, not understanding how this stranger knew his uncle's full name.

“Yes,” Luke replied. “You know him?”

Annie lowered her eyes. Luke noticed that he was irritated again. He couldn't understand why Annie was in a bad mood. It couldn't help but make Luke wonder if he was the cause?

"He's your father's half-brother," Annie replied quietly. Yet anger was still evident in his voice.

“You know my father?” Luke gasped. His eyes widened from shock.

“Yes, I know him well.”

“How do you know him? My uncle told me only a little about him and it didn't help me get to know my father any better. From what I know from Uncle He died before I was born,” Luke said.

“What did your uncle tell you about your father?”

“He said my father was the pilot of a cargo ship.”

Annie's expression clearly showed indignation. Luke moved away from him. Meanwhile, Annie glanced at Luke. He realized that he was scaring Luke. Annie took a deep breath to calm himself.

“Your uncle lied.”

“And why would he do that?” Luke protested, shock evident in his voice.

“Maybe it's because he doesn't want you to follow in your father's footsteps,” Annie suggested.

“But why? So what does my father do for a living?”

Annie was distraught. “He is the commander.”

“Commander?”

“Yes, he was a commander during the Clone Wars.” He hesitated to continue his sentence before lowering his voice. “And be a Jedi.”

“My father is a Jedi?” Luke exclaimed, his eyes wide with shock.

"That's right. He was until he learned of the Jedi's corruption and he left the sect."

Luke frowned, “I have never heard anything about this before. Then again, if anyone mentions the word 'Jedi' will they be punished?” he asked.

Annie shrugged. “It's a long story,” he said.

“How well do you know my father?”

“Of course I know,” Annie replied.

And within moments, Luke knew Annie was keeping something from him. Luke isn't sure why he knows. It might be because of the tone of voice used or Annie's demeanor. However, Luke is sure Annie is keeping something from him.

“What are you hiding from me?” After Luke processed his thoughts, Luke finally asked after a long time.

Annie was taken aback before turning her eyes away as if she was thinking about something.

“You really want to know the truth about your father, don't you Luke?” he finally asked.

“I want the truth to make me understand what my father was like,” Luke responded before choking up and continuing.

“I always wanted a father but my uncle and aunt kept the truth from me. If you know the truth Could you please tell me?”

Annie hesitated again.

"Your father is known as Anakin Skywalker," he managed to say. And Luke could feel a little pain in his voice. “And he's still alive.”

“What?” Luke exclaimed, his eyes wide from shock.

“How is that possible? I always thought that my father was still alive. He would come to Tatooine and take me off that planet forever.”

Annie was slightly taken aback. And once again, Luke could feel the anger in his expression.

“It is possible that he does not know that you are alive. Or maybe I thought you were dead the moment you were born,” he mumbled softly at the last sentence. “Or someone is hiding you from him.”

“Why do they have to do that?”

“I don't know,” Annie responded. Luke secretly flinched as he noticed that the dark blue aura around Annie had begun to turn a bright shade of blue. Even if it's just a little

“If my father were still alive Do you know where he is?” Luke asked.

“Luke, he is closer to you than you think. If only in this place,” Annie replied, turning to face Luke, who was analyzing him. Until the truth hit him like a bolt of lightning.

“But… how is that possible?” Luke said, staring at Annie with shock in his eyes.

“Are you my father?”

Annie smiled slightly. Even though he is a blue outline. But Luke could tell he was smiling from the gentleness in his expression.

“Yes,” Annie said finally.

“But…how is that possible? Annie is a nickname?”

Pain flashed in Annie's eyes. "That's right. My mother gave it to me when I was young," he said softly.

"Does that mean you're Anakin Skywalker?"

Annie winced, "Yes," he muttered, and almost immediately Luke knew his father was lying.

“Is there something wrong with the name?” Luke asked, staring at Annie with slight fear.

"Don't worry about it, Luke," Annie replied.

“Are you going to come find me and take me away from this dusty planet?” Luke asked in a pleading tone.

Annie shook her head, “No, if the emperor knows your identity. He will kill the child.”

"Why?"

“Because you have strong energy.”

"energy?"

Annie smiled slightly. “It's everything around the child,” he explains.

“When I was younger. I was able to find what my aunt and uncle couldn't find. Uncle was very angry with me. He said I was too much like my father. He said every time I found something they couldn't find it. Or sometimes when I repair something such as speeders Or various electrical equipment?” Luke frowned and asked, “

Is finding something that others can't find related to this power?”

“Yes, that's right,” Annie replied. He turned his eyes to the sky.

“I never thought something like this would happen. I thought my son would die at birth.”

Still, it didn't take long for Luke to figure out that Annie was talking to herself. And he was silent. Let Annie continue.

“What should I do with this information? I must not let Palpatine know about my child. What should I do?”

“Who is Palpatine?” Luke finally asked.

Annie was taken aback. “He is the Emperor,” Annie replied.

“Is that why Father couldn't let him know about me?”

“Of course it is.” After answering, Annie turned back to Luke.

“Can you please help me with one thing?”

Luke looked at the man who was his father.

"What is it?"

“Keep things about me a secret. Don't tell anyone what you know about your father. Especially your Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru,” Annie said.

Luke frowned. "Alright," he said before hesitating and asking. “Why did you lie to me when you said your father was Anakin? Skywalker?”

“I used to be known as Anakin Skywalker,” Annie explained. “However, I don't use that name now.”

“So what is your name now?”

"You don't need to know," Annie replied. He looked up at the sky before standing up.

“It's almost morning. You should go back now.”

Luke quickly stood up. And suddenly he understood the meaning of what Annie had said. His eyes suddenly widened. “It's Christmas,” Luke gasped.

“I got my wish!!”

“What is your wish, child?” Annie asked curiously.

“To meet my father,” Luke replied.

Annie stared at Luke for a long time before placing a transparent hand on Luke's shoulder. "I'm pleased to see you," he said softly. “But you must not tell anyone, uncle or aunt, anyone, about this meeting.”

Luke turned his eyes up to Annie.

“I won't, I promise,” he said.

“Thank you very much, child.”

And Annie began to fade away, but before she disappeared completely, Luke shouted out, “Merry Christmas, Dad.”

“Merry Christmas, Dad,” Annie replied, then he disappeared. Luke slowly woke up from his bed. He returns to Tatooine and the light of the two suns peeking through the window on Christmas morning.

Vader is brought out of his meditation after an encounter with a child that Vader knows is his child. The boy must be his son because the existence of power within Luke is very strong. So strong that Vader's identity before the events on the planet Mustafar is the only one who can match Luke's.

' I have a son. Padmé should live long enough to be named Luke. Which means Palpatine lied to me.'

After that, anger surged in him, but he pushed it away before pushing the knowledge of his son into the depths of his heart.

Vader wasn't lying when he told Luke he couldn't let anyone know about his identity. If Palpatine knew, he would kill Luke immediately. Due to the son of Anakin Skywalker tends to be strong. Perhaps enough to kill Palpatine.

'He shouldn't know about Luke,' Vader vowed.

Vader leaned against his meditation chamber, closed his eyes and slowly Return to meditation. However, the last sentence Luke said still echoed in his head. 'Merry Christmas, Dad.'

A faint smile graced his scarred lips. He knew that no matter how many months or years had passed, Vader probably still clearly remembers the words Luke said to him on Christmas morning.

'Merry Christmas'

Luke looked around the living room of the house as Beru and Owen led him inside.

“Merry Christmas, Luke,” Beru said then handed the gift to Luke and he looked at it for a moment.

He knew that there was no better gift than the one he received last night. The night Luke spent talking with Annie. Talk to your father even though you're not sure if it's a dream or not. Luke thought it was a dream, even though deep inside he still hoped it wasn't.

He opened the gift box and immediately knew it was a Model T-Sixteen. Skyhopper I've wanted for a long time.

"Thank you, Aunt Beru," Luke grinned before hugging his aunt.

“With pleasure,” Beru replied with a smile.

Luke smiled as he sat down with the new model in hand and he looked around the room for a while until he heard a voice in his head.

'Merry Christmas, Dad. I love you.'

Luke looked around in shock but he immediately recognized the voice. It was the same voice Annie had when Luke talked to him in the clearing.

'That means it wasn't a dream.'

Luke pondered, a smile plastered on his face.

'That's right, it isn't,' his father said quietly. 'Dad, I have to go. But I will always be with you.'

'Goodbye Dad,' Luke muttered sadly.

'Father loves his child'

'I love my father too'

And after that Communication between Luke and Annie disappeared before it could. Luke swore he saw a dark blue aura around Annie. The aura that had radiated from when they met in the wide grassland had disappeared. Luke thought he was just imagining it and returned his attention to his aunt and uncle.

Without him knowing What he saw was the truth.

In the depths of power Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn smiled slightly as contact between Luke and Vader disappeared.

“I knew it had to work somehow,” he murmured softly.
