"Smoking again"

'The third one'

“Don't lie, you've been smoking all day today.”

'He didn't lie. But since returning to the room, he has just smoked the third one.'

I sighed when I heard the final sentence. 'He' has been sitting here for a long time and the pile of cigarettes in front of him is good evidence that 'He' has injected at least five nicotine into his lungs.

He caught my eye before looking away. I can always catch his lies when he doesn't dare look me in the eye. He likes to lie. Even if it's a small matter, he will lie but he misses. That we've been together for so long that I can see everything clearly.

Gray smoke rose into the air. The music from the small speakers outside was playing old songs that we liked to listen to. I crouched down and sat down next to him, hanging my legs on the balcony. His heavy head leaned on me and his mouth moved to follow the letters. A Camel cigarette pack was taken out of his pocket. He handed it to me before opening his mouth.

'Do you smoke?'

I didn't respond, but I gladly put it in my mouth. He passed the old lighter in his bag. I picked it up and lit it before giving it back. Now from where he was the one to blame. Now the critic myself was slowly blowing smoke into the air with amusement.

He looked directly at my face.

I noticed him from the corner of my eye.

But he looked at me directly.

" What's up "

'Did you change the color of your lipstick?'

I keep a straight face But I feel happy inside. The thing that has always made me fall in love with this man must be that he cares. He remembered details from the first day of our relationship until now. He has asked about my lip color at least a hundred times. Because I'm bored And he was observant.

I nod

" Is it beautiful "

He didn't answer, but nodded in agreement. And that made me move to sit on his hard lap with the cigarette still in my mouth.

Cigarette smoke hit both of our faces.

He smiled at the corner of his mouth. Both of my arms moved to wrap around his neck. The Camel cigarette in his mouth moved to the ashtray along with the cigarette in my mouth.

' Have you ever asked him? What would it be like if we smoked e-cigarettes and kissed each other?

I nod

'What fruit does Jay like the most?'

" apple "

'Red or green'

" green "

'Um'

He smiled before pressing a kiss to my lips. The two of us kissed until both cigarettes were empty and only ashes remained.

I smell cigarette smoke again. It was the morning he smoked in bed while we were naked under the green and red blankets from Christmas.
