“You have a need. Or something you'd like to do? And how many things have you been able to do successfully?”
A collection of short stories"
IMD"
was written in such a way that the content of each episode is told through one person's desire
Have you ever had to part with someone you really loved?
Do you miss him at all or do you just forget about him as time passes?
In this world...people give many meanings to the word love.
But it doesn't matter what you define it to mean…
Because what matters...is who you give those feelings to.
Welcome To THE IMD
Please Imagine what you want
…. : Little one, little one~ It's morning. Wake up now. (The slender hand of a middle-aged woman, who even her age couldn't do anything to that pretty face, was shaking to wake up the little girl who was hiding under a thick blanket.)
Girl: Um~ I don't want it~ (The girl made a cry and pulled up the blanket to cover her)
Mother: Why did you promise me that this holiday I would help you with the flower gardening? Have you forgotten? Hmm~ (She gently pulls the blanket off before gently stroking the little head of the person on the bed)
Daughter: Oh….Okay. (The girl sits up and raises her hand to rub her eyes.
Mom: (She laughed a little) After you've showered, go downstairs to eat with Mom. Today, Mom made our favorite tofu soup.
Daughter: Really?! (The young girl asked out loud and her eyes widened with excitement until their eyes shone a little.)
Mother: Yes, so hurry up and take a shower.
Daughter: Yes~ (The girl quickly got up from the bed and went straight to the bathroom.)
Several hours later
Daughter: What kind of flower is this? (The girl hands the other person a black bag with a small plant that has small, light purple flowers on it.)
Mother: (She turned to look at what the girl gave her before smiling at the curiosity.) Violet. It is a flower that when looking at it gives the feeling of looking at someone who is petulant. It's a very cute flower.
Daughter: Really? (The girl said as she stared at the small purple flower for a while) She couldn't feel it at all. (The girl looks at her mother before making a slightly disappointed face.)
Mother: (She smiles gently before stroking the girl's head) The reason we don't feel this is because we don't love flowers like you do. So there's no need to be sad.
Daughter: Do you love me? ...Love me like I love you, mother? But this flower is not like mother. How can I love flowers?
Mother: The feeling of love is not just about us loving mom or dad. The word love has many forms. When we grow up, we will understand.
Daughter: So why do you have to wait for me to grow up?
Mother: (smiles) Because it's something that can't be taught.
Daughter: Hmm~ Love is so difficult. (The girl said while looking at the flower in her hand)
Mother: Come on, let's go plant some in the plot in front of the house. (She picks up the equipment and leads the girl away)
Daughter: (The young girl gets up and follows closely behind.)
Time passed until the sky was filled with stars.
Mother: Okay, it's time for the little ones to go to bed. (She said as she opened the door to the girl's room)
Daughter: Yes~ (The girl responded by turning off the mobile screen and placing it on the nightstand)
Mother: (The mother walked into the room before pulling the blanket over the girl who was waiting) Sweet dreams, little one. (She said before softly kissing the girl's forehead. The two smiled at each other before she turned and prepared to walk away.)
Suddenly, a small hand reached out and grabbed Slender's hand, causing her to stop and turn around to look at the little person.
Daughter: Will you come to my birthday party? (The young girl looked at her mother who was wearing work clothes with slightly sad eyes.)
Mother: (Her eyes softened before she smiled faintly) Of course. I'll hurry and finish the work and come back in time.
Daughter: But last time mom didn't come. (Little eyes start to turn red)
Mother: (She walked over and sat down on the girl's bed) This time I'll definitely be back in time, I promise.
The girl opened her tiny arms and her mother smiled before hugging the girl tightly.
Daughter: I promised.
Mother: Yes. (She pulled away before making the girl lie down and covering her with the blanket again. Two feet carried her body towards the door. She looked back at the girl and smiled, turning off the light before walking out.)
Tight….When the door closed in the room, only dim light from the moon shone through the window.
The young girl turned over and looked out the window. Round eyes looked straight at the large moon, absentmindedly.
Daughter: Ms. Phrachan Mom….won't come back again, right? Even though we had made a promise, Mother.... (The small voice was quiet for a moment before the last sentence came out.) I want to go.
Clear eyes filled with tears that overflowed before they fell as the eyelids closed….
