When the terrible events of Hogwarts had passed with the death of the Dark Lord, Harry, Ron, and Hermione had completed the wizarding course at Hogwarts. Harry and Ron worked as Aurors. As for Hermione, she returns to teach at Hogwarts. Professor McGonagall was delighted to have the student she loved and adored return to help her teach, at least enough to help her take care of the new students to a certain extent.

Hermione was a teacher that many students were extremely passionate about. In addition to her comprehensive knowledge and abilities She also has outstanding youth and beauty. It's safe to say that Hermione looked more beautiful than many of the girls at Hogwarts. Some Year 6 and Year 7 male students tried to flirt with her and Hermione was able to politely decline without causing any conflict among the students.

Even though she had never seen or communicated with him since graduation. But she was still faithful to her love for him even though she didn't know if he would still be faithful to her or if he was already married to someone else and had a good relationship.

No one knows when and how her love story with him began. They never revealed their relationship to others. They can only show their love for each other during their alone time. which Hermione thought was very little. Until the matter of Prof.

"Miss Granger"

"Professor McGonagall, what's wrong?"

“Tomorrow there will be an important guest coming to school. Will you help me be the housekeeper tomorrow? I see you don't have any teaching tomorrow either.”

"Sure, but what time will that important guest arrive?"

"Around 9 a.m., you went to the main gate to welcome him."

"Of course, Professor," Hermione smiled and accepted. Professor McGonagall walked away. So Hermione packed up her things and prepared to return to her quarters. So that she could prepare to welcome important guests tomorrow.

Hermione had been waiting since 8:45 a.m. because she had given her time that she might have to come and check on other things as well. Right now, many teachers were waiting for the arrival of that important person. And Hermione was starting to get excited about who that person would be.

Meanwhile, Hermione was thinking about something. The important person she had to take care of had already arrived. He politely greeted the teacher standing in front of Hermione. Right now, Hermione couldn't see him at all. Because her view was obscured by the veils of the many teachers standing in front of her. But she felt very familiar with this tone.

"Hello Mr. Malfoy. You look much more mature than before,” Professor McGonagall said.

/Malfoy?? Malfoy?/Hermione almost wanted to push the teacher out to get a better look at his face. Could that really be him?

“Today we will give you Granger. Your new teacher at Hogwarts is taking you on a tour of the school and taking care of your facilities today." Professor McGonagall pulled Hermione out from behind the group of teachers. and introduced her to Malfoy Malfoy was slightly startled by her unexpected appearance in front of him.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Malfoy," she greeted him politely. Even though it's the same model. But now his and her status are very different.

"Yes, Miss Granger," Malfoy greeted her.

“You guys from the same class should be suitable for working together this time. Anyway, please feel free," Professor McGonagall said. and invited Malfoy inside. After that, she and the other teachers separated to teach.

"Is there anything in particular you would like to see first?" Hermione asked Malfoy. She looked noticeably more tense than a moment ago.

"I want to see the library."

"Eh??"

"The library, Miss Granger," Malfoy repeated. His demeanor was as dignified as a businessman in the Muggle world.

"Yes, please."

Hermione led Malfoy to the library. After they left Hogwarts, more changes were made. Because of the damage from the battle between the Demon Lord and Harry Potter, people who had never returned to the school, like Malfoy, seemed surprised at the many changes.

But Hogwarts still looks shady and pleasant as before.

"This is the library." Hermione stopped walking and turned to look at Malfoy.

"Looks more spacious."

“Yes, because this year there are many new students. So we have to expand more.”

"It might appeal to people who like to read," Malfoy said simply. Hermione looked at him for a moment.

"Yes, but there aren't many new books."

"So?" Malfoy continued to look around. Then he turned and walked out. "I'd like to sit down and rest for a bit."

"Okay, then go to.."

"Can I go to your office?" Malfoy interrupted.

"What?"

"I want to see if the teacher's office has changed."

"Uh..but"

"Or is your room not in order?"

“No!” Hermione shouted. Malfoy looked at her with a look she couldn't understand.

"So I can't go look?"

"Alright."

Hermione took Malfoy to her office. The interior is neat and flawless. The study desks are arranged neatly and cleanly. There is sunlight shining in and it is surprisingly refreshing. On the desk were several books. The room was surrounded by many bookshelves.

"Please have a seat." Hermione led Malfoy to another seat in front of her desk.

"Sit, Miss Granger," Malfoy said, pointing to her own chair. Hermione hesitated a bit but walked over and sat down.

"What are you teaching?" Malfoy's expression suddenly relaxed. He leaned comfortably against the back of his chair.

"Teaching Magical Numbers with Muggle Studies"

"A really heavy burden," Malfoy continued to observe her surroundings.

"But you seem fine," Malfoy said softly.

"Um, I'm fine. And you?"

"It's busy."

"So?"

There was silence between the two of them. Hermione didn't think he would talk to her normally again like before. Now she didn't know what to say to him. She desperately wanted to ask him if he still loved her. But she didn't dare to hope for his answer.

"Are you married?" Malfoy asked her without warning.

"Not yet. I'm not married yet."

"So, are you dating anyone?"

"No," Hermione replied in a soft voice. She really wanted to continue saying, Because I still love you

Malfoy turned and looked directly at her. In his eyes it was as if he was evaluating whether she was telling the truth or not. Then it began to change into a softer look in his eyes.

"So, do you.. miss me?"

"That is.." Hermione was stunned. She didn't know how she should answer. She didn't even know if he had a family or a lover.

"I miss you," Malfoy said. Hermione looked at him in shock. What was he saying? He missed her. He missed the person he pretended to forget after all that chaos.

"I'm sorry," seeing that Hermione was still sitting there. Malfoy continued.

“I apologize for distancing myself from you. Acted like he didn't care about her and left her since all that chaos happened. But I can't bring myself to look at her face. I'm afraid you hate me. Disgusted that I was once a Death Eater,” Malfoy said with guilt and pain. Hermione could see that his expression was now one of pain.

"I miss you all the time. I tried to tell myself that she was probably happy with someone else right now. I tried to tell myself to stop thinking this crazy way. Forget how much I miss you and how much I love you,” Malfoy continued as if he had been holding these words back for so long.

"I.."

"I want to ask you, Hermione. I want to know if you still love me. If you don't have anyone yet, do you still love me?"

"I miss you, Draco."

"I can never forget you. I don't know how far you are from me. I don't know if you have anyone to replace me yet. All I know is that I miss you so much. I'm always worried about you. And I still love only you I love you like before and I will love you forever.”

Hermione said it. I don't know why tears suddenly overflowed even though she didn't feel the slightest bit sad. She didn't even understand her own feelings right now. She doesn't know how she feels right now. But it was like something was trying to come out of her. It was like the feelings she had for the person in front of her ran through her body.

He wanted her to tell him how many feelings she had for him. But it was more than she could say at once. Malfoy stood up and walked to stand next to Hermione. He crouched down beside her and wiped away her tears. His eyes were as gentle as before. When he and she were just students

"I'm so happy to know that you still love me. I still love you, Hermione. I love only you. I love you like before and will love you forever.”

Malfoy kissed her forehead softly. Hermione had started to stop crying. She looked at the person in front of her with the eyes of a very happy person.

"If you don't mind I wish we could go back to the way things were before.”

"What do you say?"

“I wish we could go back to the way things were before. When we love each other But this time we don't have to hide our relationship anymore and when everything is more settled. "Hermione, will you please be my bride?"

Malfoy held her hand. He looked at her hand, there was still the ring he had given her to show his love for her. A simple silver vine pattern ring on Hermione's left ring finger.

"Save it for the wedding. I'll buy you something nicer.”

"Are you sure?"

“I have never been so sure of anything before. Marry me, Hermione."

"Yes, Draco."

Malfoy smiled happily. He stood up and Hermione stood up and hugged him tightly. You are so happy The time she waited for him was so meaningful. The painful waiting has stopped. The longing that was so far away is now the longing that is near. Malfoy lifted up Hermione's chin and kissed her.

He missed those plump pink lips so much. From now on, it would be his alone, the body and mind of the woman in front of him would belong only to him.
