Chapter 1: Introduction
Ek is a young man with big dreams. He grew up in a small village in the countryside, far from civilization. Even though life in my hometown is peaceful But financial problems caused his family to struggle greatly. Ek's father and mother are farmers. They work hard every day to have enough food and vegetable oil for the day.
one morning Meanwhile, Ek sat and talked with his parents under the shade of a big tree. Donna decides she must do something to help the family. He knew that if he continued to stay in the village, he wouldn't be able to help his parents much. (This decision was not easy.) Ek had never left the village before. But his love and concern for his parents gave him courage.
Ek's father and mother heard their son's plan. They were both proud and worried. Ek's father spoke softly.
“Are you really going to go to a big city? It's not easy there."
Donna answered with confidence, “Dad, I have to go. I have to do it for my family. I don't want to see my parents suffer like this again."
After this decision Donna began preparing for the trip. He packed his personal belongings into a small bag and received a blessing from his parents. Before leaving, Ek's mother gave him some money which was money that his parents had saved up for Ek to use in the future.
Chapter 2: Important Decisions
The day when Ek had to arrive sooner than he expected. That morning the sky was a bright blue. But in Ek's heart, he felt heavy. Leaving the family he loved and the place he called home was not easy. Donna walked in and hugged his parents. Ek's father said "Take care of yourself, child. A big city is not like our home."
Ek's mother was in tears and told her child that "Don't forget to take care of yourself."
Ake smiled and replied: "I'll be back soon, I promise."
When you arrive at the train station Donna looked back at her parents one last time before the train departed. He knew that this journey would change his life and that of his family forever.
Chapter 3: Life in the Big City
Upon arrival in Bangkok A big city full of bright lights and hustle and bustle. Donna felt both excited and afraid. He began to search for work incessantly. In the end, Ek got a job at a factory. Work in the factory is very hard and tiring. But Ek never gave up. Because he knows that every coin he earns can help his family.
Ek works from morning until evening. And after finishing work, he would always write a letter or call his parents. These communications help him feel less lonely and motivated to continue working.
Every month, Ek sends money home to help his parents pay and save for the future. Ek's parents are proud of their son for working hard for the family.
Chapter 4: Nostalgia and Loneliness
Even though Ek works hard and earns more income. But loneliness and homesickness still lingered in his heart. One night while Donna was sitting in his rented room. He looked at the photo of his parents posted on the wall. Tears fell from his eyes without realizing it. He missed his mother's laugh and his father's gentle words.
He picked up the phone and called home. His mother's voice answering the phone made him feel warm.
"Mom, I miss you so much."
Ek's mother replied in a warm voice.
“Mom, I miss you too. You must take care of yourself. Don't work too hard."
Donna smiled through tears, “Yes, Mom, I will take good care of myself. And I'll go home soon."
Chapter 5: Success and Happiness
As time passed, Donna saved up enough money to return home to visit. He was proud to be able to help his family. When Aek returned home His parents welcomed him with joy and tears of happiness. Ek's father hugged his son tightly and said
“I am very proud of you. You really make your parents proud."
Donna's mother had tears in her eyes.
"My child is back. I am very happy."
Ek's return home not only made his family happy. But it also makes Ek feel that his effort and patience are valuable.
