The story of two twins who are as different as their reflections in a mirror.

It's a day with clear skies. Amidst the dense green forest A man ran through the bushes in his haste, not caring that the branches along the way were catching his limbs, causing wounds all over his body. He ran for his life to escape. Running away from the worst thing he had ever experienced.

When the trees ahead begin to thin out The young man heard the sound of running water. And feeling the moisture of the stream ahead, he stopped running, leaned against a tree, and slowly walked towards the stream. reaching for water

scorching!

Lightning struck the stream directly in front of him. The young man was taken aback. Look left and right in fear. The sky began to cover with black clouds until it was as dark as night. The current from where the lightning struck began to swirl. The vortex rose and twisted into the body of a young man in black robes.

“Surrender, Xantrus. You can't escape me.” The young man said in a disdainful tone.

“No way,” Xantrus replied sternly, even with a look of fear in his eyes. He muttered a spell and conjured a fireball towards the youth.

“Huh.” The figure in the black robe waved his right hand up. The water in the stream rose up to form a wall to protect him. A young boy twists his hand and points 2 fingers on the ground. Two bright white lightning bolts fell from the clouds in the sky. The target is Xantrus.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh The young man walked over to the body lying face down. As soon as he got out of the water The dark clouds covering the sky disappeared. He looked at the sky in surprise before suddenly saying,

“You are late, Lady.”

“It was you who disobeyed me. Hurry up!” A woman's voice sounded. At the same time, her figure appeared in front of the young man. She is a tall young woman. Wear gold framed glasses to look dignified. His long black hair was tied up into a neat bun. Her expression was dissatisfied.

“You have gone too far, Heraija.” The woman looked down at Xantrus' body. “We have to catch it. Xantrus holds too many secrets for us to let him die.”

“But he didn't die, Lady.” A young man? Heraija spoke in a calm tone. "I can control my own power."

“You are too cocky, Heraija. Your pride will come back and hurt you one day.”

“Yes, yes, yes, I will remember that, Lady,” Heraija sounded annoyed.

“Besides, you can stop calling me Lady. Call me Teacher,” the woman continued. But the young man shook off his cloak and disappeared.

At the central tower of Leminaras An academy for magic and martial arts training in the Pantoria Kingdom. The big bell on the tower rang out, signaling the end of class. The doors of each branch's building opened and students rushed out into the large courtyard in front of the school. Everyone was talking until there was a loud noise.

Many people started walking out of the school gates to go home. No one was particularly interested until a young man walked out.

He stood in front of the door of the magic branch building. The nearby students were silent and immediately turned to look at him. He is a tall man. handsome face long golden hair His dark brown eyes held a sneer. He was dressed in the uniform of a 7th level student. The highest level of magic. The sound of gossip immediately began to grow louder.

“Is that Heraija?”

“That's right, he was the one who attacked Kairan from the Demon Branch yesterday.”

“Is this the person who 3 years ago captured the Xantrus Rebellion?”

“That's right. I saw that back then I was a low-level magic student working with high-ranking wizards.”

Heraija didn't care about the words of those around her. He walked past the crowd without looking at anyone.

In the institute's central library A burly young man was sitting at a table reading a book. He had short black hair, dark skin, and serious gray eyes. His head and arms were wrapped in bandages. He was Kyran.

“Hey,” a voice greeted. Kyran turned to look and was taken aback when he saw a young man. dark brown eyes golden yellow hair His face was unmistakably like Heraija's. But then he saw the difference. The young man's eyes in front of him were gentle, unlike Heraija's.

“Heiken.... Hey, I'm shocked.” Kyran shook his head. Sometimes he couldn't tell the two twins apart. Even though Heken was his friend But Heraia turned out to be an enemy.

“Do you think it's my brother?” Heken asked, sitting down in the chair next to him. The long sword that was worn around his waist stood out. Kyran looked at it with interest.

“I apologize on behalf of that old man as well. He's been like this for a long time. Can't accept that someone else is more dominant than you. In spite of myself..."

“It is a genius mage that in 10 years there will be one. Number 1 in the top 10 students in the highest level of magic. The number 1 sorcerer of East Pantoria. And one day... will be a legend like Heraija. The greatest sorcerer of the past.” A voice similar to Heken's continued to speak until the end. The two young men at the table

I turned to look behind me in horror. Heraija stood there. Smiling like he was about to have fun.

"What's up, Heken?" he greeted his twin brother. “I heard you took the fencing exam today.”

“Good,” Heken replied. “Master says my skills are up to par. I might be able to take the exam to become a knight in the next year or two.”

“So?” Heraija asked. He smiled, but it didn't look genuine. “I heard that most of the people who take the knighthood exam have already graduated. And you stay...”

“Rank 3,” Heken replied. His warrior branch had 5 ranks.

“You're smart, my little brother,” he said, turning towards Kyran, who hurriedly averted his eyes. “Oh, so you've been released from the hospital?” he asked in a disdainful tone. Kyran clenched his fists.

“Stop messing with Kyran,” a voice called out. The three of them turned to look and saw young girl with cute face Hair as black as a crow's feathers Green eyes flashed with dissatisfaction. She wore a white robe with green trim, the uniform of the White Magic branch.

“Oh, Testa,” Heraija said automatically, raising a hand to smooth over her hair. “How are you? Are you free this evening?” he asked as the girl looked at him with displeasure.

“My name is Testrera. And I don't have enough free time to hang out with people like you.” She replied in a cold voice. “Kyran Heken, let's go.” She called out to her two friends before walking out. The two young men hurriedly gathered their things and got up to follow. But then he saw Heraija smile at them.

“You guys are really bad,” Testrera complained as they walked down the city streets.

"badly? What's the matter?” Kyran asked, his attention on the light brown hawk perched on his arm. As Heken walked, looking blankly at the side of the road,

"It's a matter of agreeing to be a disadvantage to Lord Heraija and defeat him."

“If you are you, you can say that. Why don't you try and knock him out like I did?” Kyran asked, pointing at the bandage on his head. “By the way, you're that guy's grandson. It only listens to you.”

Young girl looks dissatisfied She turned to Heken.

“Heken, you too. We're practically twins and you still allow him to suppress you.”

“Well, I'm not you,” Heken replied sternly. “If I could be like you. I probably wouldn't just be in the warrior branch.”

“Where are you going with this?” Testrera began to lose her patience. “The warrior branch is not good at all. I don't really want to stay. I'll tell you something. Even though you don't study in the same field as your elder brother. Even though you may not be number 1. But you are 100 times better than your brother.”

“Nan, Heken, your older brother is just a braggart. I considered myself to be a little bit faster at studying than everyone else, and so I got carried away. After all, the two of you are twins. You must have something cool inside you too.”

Heken turned to look at his friend.

“You all can talk,” he said in a cold voice. Why can I only study in the warrior branch?”

“Hey, calm down, I didn't mean to say that.” Kyran hurriedly said, “But your teacher praised you for your fencing skills today.”

“That's it,” Heken looked annoyed. “He spoke to half the class of people. I only told you because I thought I wanted to show off something. But I probably already know.”

“Oh,” Testrera said, looking displeased. “So where has this crazy brother of yours gone? But I'm not here. It's annoying. You can follow me." The girl looked worried. Heken and Kyran looked at each other and shook their heads.

At Heken's house Heraija was looking down from the attic window. He smiled at Heken who was about to walk home. But when he saw Heken he didn't care. He suddenly frowned and turned away from the window.

“Mother, I have returned,” Heken called out as he entered the house. He heard his mother answer from the kitchen before walking up to the room. But when he reached the door, he stopped. This wasn't just his room. But it was also his twin brother's room. Before Heken could move The door swung open.

He saw a young man with a face just like his own standing in front of him. The young man's expression was indifferent.

“What's up, little brother? Can we talk for a bit?” Heraija's voice sounded displeased as he pulled Heken by the arm into the room. The younger twin tried to ignore it. He bent down to put things away. But as soon as he straightened up, he was hit with a fist, causing him to face up.

“How many times have I told you not to mess with Testrera?” Hereja asked, looking annoyed.

“She is my friend,” Heken replied, raising his hand to wipe away the blood flowing from his nose.

"just friends ? "

“Yes, just friends,” Heken repeated, his brother smiling.

“That's good, go wash your face, little brother. You can't even see,” Heraija said. Heken stood up and walked out of the room. He tried to hold back tears. He didn't want anyone to know that even though he was a warrior, he still couldn't fight against his older brother. Heraija had changed a lot since attending Leminaras. Since his older brother, he knew that he had power over others.

Heraija stopped playing with him. Laughter and smiles turned to sneers. Even though they had promised each other that they would be friends forever. Every time Heken saw his reflection in the mirror He will think that the world is unfair. Why are two people born together? Every inch looks the same.

Even though they don't have the same abilities. He's a genius, but he's nothing more than an ordinary kid.

“Heiken, what's wrong? Are you sick, child?” Mother's loss woke up Heiken from his reverie.

“Oh, no,” he gulped and hurriedly continued eating.

“Heraija said Today my child has a fencing test. How are you?”

“Good,” Heken replied, glancing at his brother who was smiling nervously.

“Didn't you hear that it was 'excellent'?” Heraija added, then began to tell her mother and father. Heken immediately got up from the table. He didn't want to stay and listen to the details that he didn't know where his brother had found them. He walked up to the room. At least now he would have some quiet time alone. A young boy picked up a book and read it.

But Heraija doesn't think so. He followed his twin brother up not long after.

“Why are you up?” Heken asked, trying to concentrate on reading.

“Well, this is my room,” his older brother teased. “Mother is worried that you haven't talked much about school lately.”

“Why say anything when you've said it all?” Heken replied angrily. Meanwhile, Heraijah looked satisfied.

“I thought you wanted me to say this. I see you have been trying to show off for a long time now.”

“But it's none of your business,” Heken snapped. Is Heraija pretending to forget? That even though he got 1st in the exam, his parents wouldn't be as proud of him as Heraija.

"It's none of my business, little brother..."

“You are not my brother!” Heken shouted, slamming the book shut. Heraija froze.

“Good,” his voice trembled as he spoke, “I know. It was just a few minutes ago. And how dare I act like your elder brother? Good..” He turned around. Walk out of the room.

Heken was in no mood to continue reading. He turned off the light and went to bed but couldn't sleep. It was already late when he heard the door open and his brother walk back into the room. He heard Heraja fall onto the bed across the room.

“Brother…” Heken called, but there was no answer. He knew that Heraija was pretending to be asleep. “Sir,” he called out again but was met with silence. Heken fell asleep.

The steady sound of his breathing made Heraija aware that his twin brother was asleep. But he was disappointed that he still couldn't sleep. Since when did Heken start calling him hyung? Probably since they began attending Leminaras. Since that day he felt that he had lost the only friend in his life.

He lay there thinking about the meaning of his name. Heraija was the name of a sorcerer from the past. A person who was once labeled as incompetent by others, but who holds the position of being one of the greatest sorcerers in the history of Panteria. The great but eternally lonely Heraija....

The next day, Heraija's master summoned him to meet him. The young boy walked up the intricate spiral staircase to a bright blue wooden door. He knocked three times.

“Come in.” Hearing a voice calling out to him, he opened the door. and found that there was not only his teacher in that room, but a wizard, judging by his attire, probably a hunter of the Magic Council. Standing there too Heraija surveyed the man for a moment. He looked young but had white hair like an old man. The strange wizard's yellow, animal-like eyes looked directly at him solemnly.

“This child is my disciple, Heraija. Heraija, this is Lord Muriel. Wizard from the Magic Council.” Heraia bowed her head slightly in respect to the strange wizard. which he thought might not have much skill before turning to the teacher

“Lady, what is the reason for calling me here? Or is there more work for me to do?”

“There is work, sure, but it's not yours,” his teacher replied. “Muriel will come to protect you,” she added nonchalantly.

“Protect me? What is this?” Heraija asked in dissatisfaction.

“Do you still remember Xantrus?”

“Xantrus? What does that thing have to do with anything? He has been thrown into prison thus far.”

“Xantrus escaped last night. along with a number of other prisoners,” his teacher said. “The council is afraid that you are in danger. Because everyone who escaped was the one you sent into prison.”

“Then that's good. I'm just bored." Heraija didn't seem distressed. His teacher frowned.

“Heraija, I know you have great faith in your own skills. But Xantrus is no longer the same person he was 3 years ago. Put aside your pride. Then act like a good kid for a while. I have already contacted your parents that Muriel will be staying with you for a while.”

Heraija looked dissatisfied.

“But you said that Xantrus escaped last night. Why don't I know the news?" he asked.

“The council has notified your master,” Muriel interrupted. “She sent a ghost to carry a message. But you're not at home.”

“I didn't ask you,” Heraija turned around and said. His teacher hurriedly spoke up.

“But what I want to know is more. What were you doing outside the house until late at night? I didn't expect a 15 year old boy like you to... What kind of business will there be until it gets that dark?”

“I'm going for a walk,” Heraija replied. He looked away from the teacher and quickly cut him off. "If there's nothing else, I'll excuse myself." The young man turned and walked out of the room. His teacher followed him with worried eyes. before saying,

"I apologize on his behalf, Muriel. This child has a bit of a personality problem."

“I think there are many, Lady Clorif,” replied the young wizard. “How could you accept a child like that as your disciple? He lacks manners. Both with humility like most of the students he teaches.”

“He's just like you, Muriel. Now go do your work. And stop calling me Lady Crossive. Call me..."

“...Teacher, I'm taking my leave,” Muriel continued. before stepping out of the room as he walks It was clearly noticeable that his right leg was limp.

For the rest of that day, Heraija was extremely irritated. Because Muriel was following him closely. Until finally the young man couldn't stand it.

“Can you stop following me? I can take care of myself.” He turned to ask the protector. The voice was angry and dissatisfied.

“Shh, shh, put aside your pride, child,” Muriel imitated his teacher. “From now on, wherever you go, I will go. And don't imagine that I would want to follow a cocky brat like you. ”

“Good, I have something to go to this evening. Don't follow me.”

“I have a duty to protect. Not taking orders from you,” said the young wizard. “And by the way, don't think you can sneak away. You can't escape me,” he warned.

On the mountain, not too far from the western suburbs. There is a small garden hidden in the middle of the trees. From one side you can see the main road into the city as far as the eye can see. On the other side, almost half of the big city can be clearly seen. This place used to be a hiding place for two twin brothers. A long time ago

Heken sat in the garden, leaning against a tree, listening to the wind whistle through the branches. He usually comes here when he wants to be alone. In the past, he and Heraija often came to play together here. Heken's eyes swept the area. and stopped at a small shed in the corner of the garden. This shack had existed since the twins first discovered the place.

They never wondered who created it. This whole garden too. Heken stared at the small shack. It looked better than he remembered even though he hadn't been here in a long time. The young man stood up and walked towards the shack.

The shack was small, and he had to lower his head as he walked in. and nearly collided with the hanging storm lantern. There wasn't much light coming through the door, so he tried lighting a lantern. The flames instantly brightened, casting a soft yellow light throughout the small room. Heken saw three or four books and a rough blanket lying on the floor.

He sat down and picked up the books and looked at them. It belongs to Heraija. His older brother probably used this place as a resting place often. And then Heken felt something strange. It was as if he knew that Heraija was here last night. Or many times before over the course of many years. While he was having fun with his friends

His brother must have come up here. Read a book or sleep. This was the first time Heken understood how lonely Hereja had been in all these years.

Heken got up, put out the lamp and walked out of the shack. He closed the door and prepared to go home. Heken never knew why his older brother didn't make friends. But now he understood as Heraija's thoughts flowed into his head. 'We vowed to be friends forever' forever

And there will be no one more important than this friend. The young man looked at the long sword hanging from his waist. Indeed, it didn't matter in the slightest how different he and Heraija were. Heraija was not the first to distance himself. He himself thought that he was in a different world. And refused to play. Always looking at each other from afar until they really became 'older brother' and 'younger sister'

Heken walked down the mountain. Head into the city, go home, and apologize to Heraija.

The suburbs were completely dark. There was only a flicker of light from two street lamps that were nearly out of fuel. Yet Heken felt that he was not alone on that road. The young man felt that this person was not friendly. He reached for the hilt of his sword and sped up his steps to reach the house as quickly as possible until he ran into a man. The gaunt figure fell and sat on the ground.

“Oh, sorry.” Heken held out his hand to the man. But when hands touch He felt a sharp pain at his fingertips as if a high-voltage electric current was flowing into his body. The young man immediately lost consciousness.

Meanwhile, at home, Heraija was pacing nervously in his room when he felt a sharp pain in his fingertips. He raised his hand to look, but there was no mark. The boy scratched his head in confusion before an image entered his mind.

He saw himself tied up in a dark room. Saw bright white lightning strike. and Xanthras's smug smile His own face in the picture looked as pale as a dead person's. Blood was streaming down his face, unless... it wasn't him!

“Heiken…” He moaned softly before storming out of the house. with Muriel following close behind. A young boy ran and stopped on the road in front of the house.

“Heken, Heken,” the young man's voice echoed in the darkness of the night. But there was no response. Heraija felt a hand on his shoulder. That's Muriel.

“What happened?” asked the young wizard, looking puzzled.

“I... I see Heken is in danger,” the young man said. before running off into the dark

“Where are you going?” Muriel asked. Tried to follow along.

"Teacher's House"

Heraija headed towards the teacher's house. But then he remembered. Kyran is Heken's closest friend at school. Kyran must know exactly where Heken is going. He had to go find Kyran, but... where was Kyran's house?

A hasty knock sounded at the front door.

“Who is here this late?” Testrera grumbled as he went to open the door. The knocking sounded again. The girl muttered as she turned the key. At first glance, she saw the young man standing in front of the door. She thought he was Heken.

“You…” The girl stopped, “What are you doing here?”

“Home.. Where is Kairan's house?” Heraija asked, still panting.

“What happened here?”

“What the hell, take me to Kairan's house first.” Heraija grabbed the girl's arm and dragged her out the door. "I'll tell you later."

The two of them walked hurriedly down the street. Heading into the city center Kyran's house was a fairly famous inn. Strangely, Heraija knew nothing of this. Testrera led him around to a small house built from the front. She knocked on the wooden door. On the door is an image of the sun intertwined with stars. Heraija looked at the carving and muttered to herself.

"misery..."

Testrera turned to look at him. But before she could say anything, the door opened. Kyran stood at the door. He looked like a person who had just woken up.

“What are you two doing here?” he asked, then yawned. “It's so late…”

“Have you seen Heken?” Testrera asked. Kyran looked puzzled. He looked at Heraija.

“My younger brother. Do you see him?” Heraija asked again. Kyran looked at him in disbelief.

“You…” he faltered, “No, didn’t Heken go home this afternoon?”

Testrera gently nudged Heraija.

“Come on, let's go to my uncle's house first.” Heraija nodded before walking out, Testrera following close behind.

“Thank you very much, Kyran. good night"

“Hey, where are you going? Wait for me.” Kyran jumped up quickly, put on his shoes and ran after the two of them.

At Lady Clifton's house Muriel was already waiting for them. The young wizard handed something to Heraija.

“I found it on the road near your house,” he said. Heraija took the item and saw that it was Heken's sword. Testera covered his mouth with his hand. She looked at her uncle's face.

“Probably Xantrus,” said Lady Cryve, shaking her head.

The smell of salt and sea breeze floated into Heken's ears. He opened his eyes and saw darkness. The young man felt a headache that almost exploded. He tried to get up but found that his hands and legs were bound by strong ropes. His sword was gone.

After a while, moonlight began to stream in through the small window. Heken found that he was in a small room made of stone like a tower somewhere. The floor of the room was dusty as if it had been left there for years. Heken tried to remember how he got here but couldn't. Then he heard people talking outside the room.

There was the sound of a key turning and the door opened. A large man walked into the room. From the ragged long robes, you could tell that this man was a wizard.

Xantrus looked at the young man lying on the ground covered in dust. The darkness made the blood flowing down his face completely black. But he remembered this face unmistakably. He was certain that this young man was Heraija.

“Do you still remember me?” the wizard asked as the young boy looked up in confusion. Heken doesn't know him. Xantrus came first. He didn't know what grudge his twin brother had harbored against this wizard.

“If you don't remember, I will remind you.” Xanthus grinned. A magic ring appeared on the ground around Heken. He remembered this kind of ring well. It's a lightning summoning spell.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

When the lightning magic stops Xantrus looked at the young man in front of him with disappointment. The head fell to the ground. Shoulders droop with exhaustion. This attitude was nothing like the arrogant youth he had met three years ago.

“Lock him up and watch over him,” he ordered the person outside the door. “If he escapes, he can cut off his arms and legs. But don't kill it.” Heken heard the door key click as the wizard walked out. The boy closed his eyes in pain and weakness. This person wants Heraija. Instinct told him If this man thought he was Heraija, he would surely die.

But even though he knew he wasn't Heken died anyway.

“Hey, stop, where are you going?” Kyran called out to Heraija, who hurriedly walked out of Lady Crieve's house.

“Go to Heken,” the wizard apprentice replied simply. Kyran followed.

“And you know? Where is Heken?” the young man asked. Heraija suddenly stopped.

“I... Ugh.” Heraija immediately collapsed. His body tensed in pain, like he'd been electrocuted.

“Hey, what's wrong?” Kyran immediately rushed over to take a look. “Testa, come take a look at this thing.”

“No, I'm fine,” Heraija gasped. “It's Heken, he's calling me.” The pain was gone. He knew that his younger sibling would be in much more pain than this.

“Heken? What's wrong with him?” Testrera asked impatiently.

“Magic power... The pain he sent to me Xantrus will definitely take Heken.”

“I already know that,” Kyran said annoyed. “But what I am going to ask you. Do you know where Heken is?”

“I... I think I know,” Heraija replied, raising both hands to hold her head. “It was a dark room. Lightning struck. I saw Heken lying there. I saw him bleeding, I…” The young man shook his head as if wanting to shake that image from his memory. His expression now was nothing like the arrogant youth from before.

“Calm down, Heraija.” A small hand squeezed his shoulder. Testrera knelt beside him. “Pay attention. Do you see anything else? Can you think of anything else?”

“No, I…”

“Think carefully.”

“I.. yes, I can smell the salt, the sea breeze.”

“Oh, that was really helpful,” Kyran interrupted sarcastically. “Is that all you can think of? The great Heraija Do you know that dark place next to the sea? How many hundreds and thousands of places are there along the 10-kilometer radius along the coast from this city?”

“Don't do it yet, Kyran,” Testrera stopped her. She turned back to Heraija. “Is that all you can think of?”

young boy nods Acting like you're about to cry

“Are you all here?” Muriel's voice called out. The three of them turned to look. A young wizard limped towards them.

“Lady Crypfor has me come after you, Heraija.”

Heraija didn't move. Testrera squeezed his shoulder gently.

“Let's go see my uncle first,” she whispered. “And tomorrow Let's go to the beach.”

The cries of seagulls woke up the young boy on the dirt floor. The room was now a little brighter because of the sunlight streaming in through the window. The scent of the fresh flowers swaying around the window frame made him feel a little better. Heken tried to get up. But he felt pain all over his body.

The head seemed to explode into pieces. He felt a tightness in his face from the dried blood. And I don't know if it was because the sunlight got into my eyes or because of the pain. Tears began to flow from his eyes.

“Heraija, where are you?” he muttered weakly. “Where are you?”

“Heken,” Heraijah was startled. A large wave came up and splashed right in his face. The boy felt the salty seawater in his mouth. He was fully awake and found himself sitting on a rock by the sea.

“Are you awake? You sleepyhead,” Kyran's voice sounded from above. “Damn it, just sit there and fall asleep or die.” Heraija looked up. A dark-skinned youth stood on a rock high above the morning waves crashing on the shore. In the sky above their heads, dozens of seagulls were circling.

Heraija walked up to the rocks. and found Testrera sitting and dozing.

“Really hard to find,” Kiran complained. “A bird like this couldn't cover the whole beach in one day. They refused to come and help any more.”

“Sedomint,” Heraija spoke up. “Give your friend a bird. Find a tower made of black stone. There were sedomint flowers growing around the window and…” The boy tried to remember. “Near the seagull nest. I heard the sound of a baby bird.”

Kyran looked at him carefully before raising his head and making a strange sound with the birds in the sky. The birds screeched back and flew away along the beach.

“They are looking for you there,” Kyran said. “If you meet Heken. What will you do next?”

“Go help him,” Heraija replied. “The rest is up to me. You guys don't have to bother.”

Kyran looked dissatisfied.

“Why can't I be busy? Heken is my friend.”

Heraija looked at the young man in front of him. He himself has no friends. But it was enough to understand Kyran's feelings.

“You two aren't going to fight again, are you?” Testera's voice sounded. She was sitting and looking at them. Heraija hurriedly averted her eyes.

“I'll tell you one thing, Heraija,” the girl stood up. “Heken is my friend. and his twin brother like you You have no right to stop me if I want to help him.”

“What can you do…” Heraija didn't finish speaking when the sound of birds chirping came from above. Kyran looked up.

“What did they say, Kyran, what did the birds tell you?” Heraia asked impatiently.

“My friends said they found 'you' in a tower not far from here.” Kyran frowned. “There is still breathing. The blood in the body is still warm. But it won't be long. The shadow of death is creeping up on him.”

Testera covered her mouth as Heraija immediately spread her magic tentacles onto the rocks. Soon the stone slab began to shake. It transformed into a stone tiger. On its back was a pair of strong wings. The apprentice wizard immediately jumped onto its back. But he stopped when he saw the other two people standing. Heraija considered for a moment. Then he snapped his fingers. The Stone Tiger then bent down and allowed the two to climb onto his back.

At the black tower by the sea Xantrus was walking up the spiral staircase. He looked like he was thinking about what had happened last night. A large wizard walked and stopped in front of the tower's top door. A gaunt man with a skinny appearance sat in front of the door. He glanced at Xantrus before handing him a large key.

“It's still here,” the skinny man said. “It's quiet. I guess it's dead.”

“Don't underestimate it. This guy is very cunning,” Xantrus said, and he turned the key and opened the door.

The room was now a little brighter. The sunlight filtering through the window illuminated the dust that hung in the air and piled thickly on the black stone floor. On the floor, the body of the blond-haired youth was still curled up. Hands tied behind back There was blood on his wrist. It must have been the result of trying to pull his hand away from the rope and getting cut.

The young man glanced up at Xanthus. Even though the dark brown eyes looked weak, there was still a hint of sneer in them. Xantrus thought that this boy was really Heraija before the sunlight clearly illuminated the youth's body for the first time. Thin leather armor, dragonhide boots, rough gloves, and a belt to hold a sword sheath.

The large wizard was stunned. This child is not Heraija...

“Who are you?”

Xantrus's question, which sounded confused, made Heken giddy. He tried to look at the wizard in front of him with the sneer that Heraija usually did. Even though it's so difficult He calmed himself and looked back.

“Who are you?” Xanthus asked again. This time it changed to anger hidden in his voice. Heken tried to speak despite his parched throat.

“Who do you think I am?” He tried to sound as similar as his older brother as possible, even though he knew it was no use. Xantrus knew for sure that he was not Heraija.

“I ask, who are you?” Xanthus tried to suppress his emotions. But when the young man remained silent Look at him with a sneer in your eyes. and a smile at the corner of the mouth He snatched the boy up and pushed him against the wall. I don't know if it was from the strength of the xanthrus or the power of magic. Heken's body violently slammed against the wall.

The young boy collapsed on the ground. Blood flows from the mouth He coughed 2-3 times before falling silent. There was only the faint sound of his breathing that let him know that he was still alive. Xantrus looked at the young man pitifully.

“You are not Heraija. Definitely not.” He walked closer to the young man. “I will ask one last time: Who are you? Where is Heraija?”

"If you don't answer, you will die."

Heken felt a dull headache. He could barely hear what Xantrus was saying. He thought he would surely die. But he heard a small squeak. Heken glanced at the window. He caught sight of a tawny hawk perched there before it flew off.

“The power of a thousand stones!”

A familiar voice rang out. Before the black stone that made up the tower's walls exploded, The ceiling and almost two walls were blown away by the explosion. Bright sunlight shone into the small room, blinding it completely. Heken sighed as Xantrus stood confused. A skinny, iguana-like man ran into the room to take a look. His face turned pale when he saw Heraija on the back of a stone python.

“Thousands of pounds of pressing power!”

The man's body suddenly collapsed as if a giant hand had pressed him flat on the ground. Xantrus turned to look at Heraija. He smiled before smiling.

“Like this,” he said softly before casting a spell. “How about getting burned?” Hot flames shot out from both Xanthus palms. The target was Heraija on Phayat Hin. A young boy raises his hands together. A net of water formed to protect him. Heraija muttered something. A whirlwind formed and rushed towards Xantrus.

The large wizard slammed into the wall. He tried to get up but was lifted up again. When Heraija slapped his hand again Xanthus was thrown from the tower.

“You…” Testrera, who was watching behind Heraija, stopped, “You killed…”

“That's not enough,” Heraija said coldly. “You went down to find Heken. As for you, Kyran, the animals...your friends can help take care of the rest. I will follow Xantrus.”

Testrera and Kyran jumped down to the top of the tower. Before Heraija rode the rock and followed Xanthrus down. He turned and threw something to Kyran. It was Heken's sword. Testrera immediately ran towards Heken who was lying on the ground. Soon, a green light glowed. The healing power is doing its work.

As Kyran raised his head and whistled. Flocks of various birds from the seaside began to circle around the tower before crashing down below.

“I'll go down first.” Kyran turned and ran down the stairs. The youth purposely stepped on the body of a thin man who was unconscious on the ground. Testera concentrated on his healing powers. For a moment, Heken's expression improved. He blinked and gave Testrera a puzzled look, then tried to get up.

“Lie down, you're still hurt,” Testrera ordered, but he didn't listen.

“I heard Heraija's voice. Where is he?” the young man asked frantically. “And what about that wizard? Where is Testa Heraija? How did you all get here?”

“Calm down Heken. We have come to help you,” the girl replied. “Heraija followed Xanthus. He gave your sword back.” She handed it to him. It's quite heavy. Heken grabbed his sword and stood up. He was slightly staggered because he had lost so much blood. But his eyes looked determined.

“Which way does Heraija go?”

“That side, go down.” The girl pointed at the wall where Xantrus had fallen. “Heken, let's go down to Kyran first.”

“No, you go down to Kyran. I will go help Heraija,” Heken said. He walked towards the wall that was only a pile of rocks on that side. And before Testrera could stop him He jumped down.

“Haiken!” the girl shrieked. She ran to look at the edge of the wall but saw only the trees beneath her sway for a moment. Along with a soft noise Before realizing that her friend was the disciple of the best knight in the city. The girl sighed before running down the stairs, not forgetting to step on the skinny man lying on the ground.

Heken held his head in his hands. It still hurts. He ran through the bushes to an open field. The sky above the field was overcast with black clouds. Lightning crackled in the clouds. Hereiaja and Xantrus stood facing each other. Xantrus looked quite battered while Heraija had blood oozing out and soaking his left sleeve. The two of them didn't notice Heken.

“You are getting better,” Heraija said coldly. There was still a hint of disdain in his voice.

“I came out specifically to get revenge on you,” Xantrus replied, he was panting. “I didn't know you had twins.”

“If he were like me, You are not standing here.”

"Let's try it," Xantrus called out a firestorm. Heraija glanced down at the ground.

“You idiot, using just one element of magic to make you angry.” The young man looked down upon. The ground beneath his feet cracked and cracked. Water seeped out, “Your fire is weaker than my water.”

“Are you sure, you cocky brat?” Xantrus grinned. “I will never forget the pain of your lightning. It's time to give it back to you, Lightning!”

White beams of light quickly shot down from the black clouds that Heraia had summoned. and immediately cut into the young man's body Heraija's body jerked before he fell to his knees. But Heken noticed Heraia's eyes flickering towards him briefly. He immediately understood His twin brother's right hand raised.

“Thousands of pounds of pressing power!”

Xantrus dropped to his knees on the ground. Try to fight the pressure Heken knew that Heraija was nearly exhausted from her magic. He unsheathed his sword and ran towards the large wizard. Xantrus turned to look. In the blink of an eye, Heraija was exhausted. The mantra eases and

Shock!

Xantrus' expression remained stunned as blood spurted out from his wound like a crimson fountain. The wizard's body was torn in half with a single blow. Heken's swordsmanship wasn't just a bargain, as he had told everyone. The young man panted, his sword still raised in position, ready to repeat. But then he released his sword. It fell to the ground as he ran towards his brother.

“Heraija,” he knelt next to his still sleeping brother. “Heraija…” He shook his brother gently. He was nearly crying when his own voice spoke.

“Are you crying again? You brat.” Heraija glanced up at him. Heken immediately burst into tears.

"You...are still here."

“Are you crying because I didn't die?” Heraija said, his voice trembling. “Are you okay?”

"No... wait. I'll go call Testa." He made to get up. But Heraija forbade it.

“No need to, a more skilled person has arrived.” He glanced at Xantrus' corpse. A white-haired wizard was looking down at the corpse.

“I told you, you can't escape me, Heraija,” Muriel said. Walking towards the twins Heken looked confused as Muriel bowed to him.

“This will be our first meeting,” said the young wizard. “My name is Muriel. Be the protector of your arrogant brother. You must be Heken.”

“Yes,” Heken replied softly. Muriel handed back his sword and smiled.

“Swordsmanship is very good. In another two years, you will definitely be wearing a knight's uniform.”

Morning sunlight streams in through the attic window. It revealed two figures lying on two beds on opposite sides of the room. No one moved even though they were both awake. There was a loud pounding on the door and then their mother's voice came.

“Morning, Heraija Heken, wake up! You all have to go to school today.”

The two of them slowly got up from the bed. Heraija stretched and yawned.

“I want to sleep for two more days,” he complained. “Why hurry? School isn't going anywhere."

“Say it, you lazy bastard. You sleep twice as much as me,” Heken grumbled. “You have been sleeping for 10 days now.”

The twins finished getting dressed and walked out of the house to sleep. They found Muriel standing and waiting.

“Are you still here?” Heraija asked, awkwardly carrying her bag because her left arm was in a cast. Muriel grabbed the bag and carried it to him. "Thank you," the boy said softly.

“You can be happy. I am leaving today,” said the young wizard. “Xantrus is dead, you live, I am finished.”

“And will we ever see you again?” Heken asked. Over the past 10 days, he had learned many things from the young wizard.

“I am in the city,” Muriel replied. “If you would like to contact me, just tell Lady Crieve. She knows where to find me.”

No one said anything else until they arrived in front of the school. Muriel returns the bag to Heraija.

“Aren't you going to go see the Lady first?” Heraija asked.

“Lady Clifton is not my lord. I have to report to the Magic Council,” Muriel replied and turned to walk away.

“Hey Muriel,” Heraija called again. “What happened to your leg? Can I ask?”

The young wizard stopped walking and turned to answer, his voice solemn.

“Just a lesson in arrogance. In my past..."

He turned around and walked away without another word.
