The sound of a piano could be heard from the frosted glass door that was ajar. A sweet and sad melody sounded louder as a tall figure pushed open the door. A familiar back, sitting straight in front of a black piano. The ten slender fingers continued to play without realizing that anyone had entered the practice room.
His long legs walked slowly. Faintly, it stopped behind a small figure on a long chair. before collapsing into seats next to each other with their backs turned to the person sitting before them
...the melody stops
"Why did you stop, Golf?"
A tall young man asked when he saw the other person's silence.
"Keep playing...Mike wants to hear."
Mike leaned his head gently onto his brother's shoulder.
Golf glanced at his younger brother. The warmth of the bodies pressed against him was being transmitted to him. From the shoulder...the left arm...from the waist and hips.
His fingertips traced the notes again.
...If this time the melody you hear is even sadder than before.
...but now there's still time That I'll find a good reason
...to hold you back now...but I know there's no hope.
...The last note ends.
"I have to go, Mike."
Golf took his hand off the piano. The weight placed on his shoulders made him want to reach out and touch him...but...
“It's time for your studies. The teacher will be here soon."
The small figure moved to get up. If a big hand holds you back
“Can you not go yet?”
...Just one more minute...I want to stay like this just one more minute.
His brother's pleading eyes causing him to turn away
...acknowledged...but...couldn't accept it.
"Right now, we don't get to be together much at all, Golf."
How long has it been since Golf distanced himself like this? The closer he tried to get, The older brother was even further away.
Mike tried to meet his brother's eyes. If those eyes looked away There was only silence in response.
...When you never turn to look at me
...No matter what we do, they probably won't love each other.
…and I knew that soon the dream I had would end.
"P'Golf must be in trouble."
...with having to endure being near him
Golf lightly bit his lip. with confusion I wanted to turn around and look when I heard a stern voice.
...do not...
...You must restrain yourself.
Mike sighed softly. Look at the uncomfortable expression of the person in front of you. He buried his face in his brother's shoulder again.
"Mike sorry"
...because of him
...Because what he did...changed everything between him and his brother.
The wet touch on his shoulder caused Golf to raise his hand and caress his brother's dark hair, as if to comfort him.
"You don't have to apologize Mike...you didn't do anything wrong."
...If anyone is at fault...it should be him.
...It's wrong to let everything go too far.
“But Golf still chose to go.”
Mike pulled away, his eyes fixed on his brother's face again. Find out what he hopes to find in those eyes.
“Why...why can't it be Mike?”
...no matter how much I love you But I knew she probably wouldn't care.
...still dreaming far away And still hope inside my heart that one day you will have me
...but I know it's impossible. When you think I'm not...
"You know it's impossible."
Golf looked down at his own feet. Dodging the sight of Mike's pain cutting into him.
“Phi Golf loves him?”
"It's none of your business, Mike."
“Then why...”
In his brain right now there were only words...why...why.
“You already know the reason.”
...The reason...that made him and Mike impossible.
"Mike only knows that Mike loves P'Golf."
Mike used both hands to lift his cheeks up.
"And Mike knows that Golf feels the same as Mike."
Golf slowly closed his eyes as the other man leaned down. A close touch on the lips...a gentle, familiar touch.
...as if he himself was the one who longed.
Golf resisted the touch before pushing himself away from his brother.
“That's enough, Mike.”
He got up and grabbed his bag that was lying nearby. Meant to walk to the door If Mike quickly gets up and blocks it
…and even what I did today It might not make her feel good.
The only thing her heart can have is annoyance…
"Mike, I'm sorry...P' Golf, don't go yet."
Mike apologizes to his brother. He understood that Golf was angry at what he had done. A large hand held a small wrist.
He didn't want to see his brother walk away from him like this again...
“Then...can we go back to being brothers like we used to?”
...as before
“Nothing is ever the same, Mike.”
He really wanted to tell his younger brother. Everything had changed since the day they overcame their relationship and sibling love.
...No matter how hard I try to forget...
…I don't know how long. Until I erase you from my heart
...until the good memories fade away.
...until I can love someone again...
Golf slowly removed the large hand holding his wrist. That small hand moved to check for tears on his brother's cheek.
Mike raised his hand and held his brother's hand against his cheek. If Golf pulled his hand away and turned and walked out of the room.
He looked at the back until it was out of sight. The glass door slowly closed again.
...The tears have dried up.
Slender fingers caressed the black and white keys of the piano. Before that, the same melody that the person who had just walked away played to him could be heard again.
...When you think I'm not, that's okay.
As long as I'm still breathing ...will love you forever...
The End.
