Short story : Memory of Love, girls feel
(Memorial of love girl's feelings)
By Fin Renevsky
“Sigh…”
A young girl's sigh rang out in the silence. Where she lives is in the countryside, quite far from the city. The sound of birds singing like a melody helped her to relieve some of her worries.
“Alice,” a young woman's voice called out to her. The girl turned back to the source of the voice.
“Sister Mary,” she said, looking at her blood sister's face with dismay.
“Tomorrow you're getting married, Alice,” older sister Mary told her. Alice lowered her head.
“Alice doesn't want me to get married at all. When Mary gets married, she will move to a big city,” Alice told Mary.
She never thought she would be alone. For the past 5 years, she had not been far from her sister. Her mother didn't even bother to pay attention to Alice. Alice's father passed away from an illness. Her mother then remarried to a doctor in the countryside. Mother is a person who loves easily and gets rid of quickly, so she has been married to many men. Her stepfather…
Mary's father was married to her mother the longest. Alice is very close to Mary. But tomorrow Her older sister, whom she loves more than her mother, gets married. It couldn't help but make her feel lonely.
“Alice…are you going to live with me in the big city?” Mary asked her sister gently. Even though Alice was only 12 years old, she already knew that living with a newlywed was disturbing. Alice shook her head in denial.
“It's okay, Alice.” Her sister seemed to have guessed Alice's feelings.
“Steve is bringing his adopted brother to stay with him. He was only a little older than Alice. It wouldn't be difficult to be friends. I also want Alice to go stay with me,” said Mary. Alice thought for a moment and decided to go.
“Wow, what a beautiful garden,” Alice enthused like a child.
Today was the day Mary brought Alice into the house. Mary takes Alice to meet a boy.
“Alice, this is Justin. I'm a year older than Alice. We're friends. Justin, this is my younger sibling, Alice,” Mary said. She led the boy she had introduced a moment ago and stood in front of Alice. Justin grimaced as if he didn't want to get to know her. But the child, ignorant of the matter, reached out and grabbed the boy's arm and said in a cheerful voice.
“Let's go play, Justin.” Justin looked stunned for a moment, so he graciously agreed to go play too.
Mary watched the two play together happily.
“A tough kid like Justin is perfect for Alice, don't you think,” she said to her husband, Steve.
Many years have passed. They both grew up to be young men and women. From a 10-year-old brat to a beautiful 15-year-old girl, Alice's personality shows no signs of changing. Completely opposite to Justin.
“Justin, let's go to school together,” Alice said before breakfast.
“No, I made an appointment with a friend, let's go first,” Justin said in a cold tone.
“Oh, that's so cruel,” Alice said petulantly. Her older sister, Mary, carried her son with her young husband into the kitchen with a joyful expression on her face.
“Alice, are you going to school now? Please say hello to his aunt,” Mary told her child.
“Sister Mary, don't teach Jane to call me aunt. I don't want to get old yet, little one." Alice scolded her older sister and then bent down to greet her child, Jane.
“Uncle, aunt, Liz, tin, tee..n, teep, papa, papa, mama,” 2-year-old little Jane said without difficulty saying the names of the members of the household.
“Scream, so talented...Wow. I have to go. Go, Jane.” Alice looked down at the clock before greeting Jane before going to school.
She ran outside to catch up with Justin.
“Justin, wait,” Alice shouted, panting. When she reached the young man, she scolded without hesitation.
“Justin, why didn't you wait?” Alice asked.
“That's my business. Don't bother me,” Justin answered irritably before walking towards his female friend who was already waiting for him in front of the school.
Oh…why has Justin changed so much? Many years ago, he was really a cute kid. People really can change.
Alice thought until her head hurt. Justin ignored her again after she waited for him to come home together.
“Didn't you hear what I said? Told you not to interfere.” Justin shouted at Alice and suddenly stopped. Look at Alice, who is standing quietly with her head bowed.
“...What's wrong with you?” Normally, I'd put on a smile and keep pestering. Simply put, the face is dizzy.
“No.” Alice looked up, her eyes red. Why do you have to say such a thing?
"She's crying," Justin said. Alice was taken aback.
“No…no,” Alice refused, running across the road in a hurry.
“Alice!! Watch out!!” Justin shouted loudly.
That was the last thing Justin said…
...The name Alice has not been heard from Justin's mouth for two whole years!
“Whoa, whoa, Justin,” Alice cried, tears streaming down her face.
Justin was lying in a pool of blood in the middle of the road. Because he ran to save her from a car traveling at high speed. This is the reason Justin has to be in this condition!
“Alice, how is Justin?” Steve asked hurriedly as they arrived at the hospital with Mary carrying Jane behind him.
“Still in surgery,” said Alice, crying almost bloodshot tears.
“It's really because of me. If I hadn't jumped into the middle of the road, Justin wouldn't be like this,” Alice said. Steve looked at the girl with pity. She continued:
“Just starting to feel what it's like to lose something important. Justin is an important person to me. He is special to me...and the person I love. Steve, what should I do? I hurt him because of me.”
“Justin is going to be okay. It's not your fault, Alice,” Steve said.
Many hours have passed.
“Doctor, how is Justin?” Alice stood up and asked the doctor who had come out of the operating room.
“I'm sorry. The doctor cannot save the patient's life.” With that, the doctor walked away, leaving Alice standing in shock.
“No…not really…”
Today is the anniversary of Justin's death. Alice brought a lily. Justin's favorite flower comes to visit. Even though many years have passed Alice still visits Justin regularly…
Although Alice is getting older But the feeling The memories of that day still haven't faded with time. The feeling of loss is still stuck in the recesses of my mind.
…Time..cannot be brought back…
“I love you…Justin.”
