“People like you who don't care about others hardly ever see anyone in their sight.
And for you to take other people's matters into consideration, there's no way at all.
Just so I can conclude that you have special feelings for that guy!!”
Warning: It's long and doesn't make any sense ;_;
I have to tell you something. (woogyu)
“This school is cool. Especially the cafeteria is amazing."
“Wow, there are a lot of restaurants. It's all delicious."
"There's also a coffee shop. Will there be cake inside?"
"But there are so many people, I'll die. I don't like it at all."
Kim Sungkyu is a young boy who has just started his first day as a high school student at a new school that his family has chosen to be the only school he will attend. Sunggyu never asked why it had to be here. But both his parents and older sister are all alumni of this school. Oh.
But I had heard my father say that studying here would give him a good social life. It probably is like that. Because from what he had observed since morning, he saw that the students here seemed to be only at his level. What level is that? What is the level of economic status at home?
Sunggyu was still standing in front of the luxurious cafeteria. A pair of small eyes scanned each shop one by one before letting out a soft sigh.
“Wow, every store has a long line. Knowing this, it's better not to rush down."
But I can't hurry down. Still sitting in the classroom for even another minute, Sunggyu felt a thrill up his spine that he would be his partner, the boy with glasses who was appointed class leader from the votes of his classmates this morning. It was noticeable that the other party kept inviting him to talk all morning. Please, just sitting next to each other doesn't mean Sunggyu will be close friends easily.
It's not that he's arrogant or anything. The important point is that he is the head of the room and must do various miscellaneous tasks for the general public. I won't take it with me. Sunggyu is a very lazy child, I told you before.
But right now, he hates the crowds in the cafeteria even more. Then his eyes glanced at the store with the fewest people lining up to buy food. The feet of many people hurriedly walked towards the line before looking up at the sign in front of the store and muttering to themselves. "This lunch is ramen."
While waiting in line, Sunggyu kept thinking about his friend with glasses at the next table. Before coming down to eat, he had just rejected the doctor's invitation to eat together for the strange reason that he didn't like to eat, but would buy bread to eat instead. If a friend with glasses meets him in the cafeteria, what will happen? As he thought about what excuses he would make if he encountered the person he lied to, Sunggyu felt a dark shadow flash in front of him. The person who had been keeping his head down suddenly suddenly looked up.
“Are you in line at this store?” As soon as he looked up, Sunggyu saw the face of an unknown person who just frowned at him and asked in a tone that didn't seem like he really wanted to have a conversation. If it weren't for the frown and the short question, Sunggyu would have liked to admire how good-looking this person was.
“Yes, I am in line at this store,” Sunggyu replied in an equally curt tone.
“Then you should just follow the line. I can stay busy but not focused. I'll just jump in line." After saying that, he turned around and walked back behind Sunggyu. A person who had been severely criticized like Sunggyu could only take long steps along the line with a strange feeling. Both confused and starting to get a little annoyed. What's with that pillow!!
For the first day at a new school That was the first time Sunggyu met Nam Woohyun.
It's normal for high schools all over the country to be noisy in front of the midterm score announcement boards, including Sunggyu's school. And there was no need for Sunggyu to go around chasing after his own name. Well, his name is Kim Sungkyu and he has never received a score lower than third. Throughout almost three years at this school
Sunggyu's scores hovered around 1-2-3.
“Sungkyu, did you get 1st this time?” The cheering voice of Sunggyu's only close friend came from the side along with a quick shake of his right arm.
“Even though I got first place, it didn't seem strange. Why are you excited?"
"Oh, I know you're good, but I just want to know if you'll beat Nam Woohyun this midterm."
"Wow, that guy got 3rd place. Can you read number 2? It's good, at least I still beat that guy.” The cheerful voice of the person next to him made Sunggyu smile slightly.
“You look like you want to win over him more than me, Jang Dongwoo,” Sunggyu said teasingly before the pair slowly walked out down the corridor. Far away from the chaos of the score board.
Jang Dongwoo, Sunggyu's only close friend, has been with him since he first started attending school. After he was able to get rid of the head of the glasses room by asking to change seats to sit next to the window, giving the teacher the reason that he had allergies and needed to be near the window to get fresh air. Then the teacher changed the seat for me.
Sunggyu sometimes wondered why other people believed his strange reasoning. (But Dongwoo said he was just a good liar, which he said wasn't true.) Dongwoo sat at the next table next to him. At first, Sunggyu was worried about whether to talk to Dongwoo about it or not. Or he had to pretend to find another reason to change seats because the boy sitting next to him had a rather strange behavior (
which Dongwoo calls it unique) and also likes to laugh a lot. But after talking for a while, Sunggyu quickly became close to Dongwoo. It's okay to see crazy things like this. Dongwoo is a good-natured and considerate person. And human relations are very good. It could be said that there was no one in the entire school who didn't know Jang Dongwoo.
Especially now that he's a senior like this, Dongwoo is even more well-known among the younger students. Sunggyu is also known as Jang Dongwoo's close friend.
“I have nothing to do with Nam Woohyun. You, if you lose to Woohyun, you'll always be upset.” Dongwoo rolled up the lecture book in his hand and tapped it along the corridor wall. His other hand pulled the strap of his shoulder bag back and forth. This is Dongwoo's unique identity. Hands can never stay still.
“Who said I've ever been upset?” Sunggyu pursed his lips before taking a long step forward instead of stating that he didn't want to talk about this matter any further.
“Oh, never, never...but hey. Can you please wait? Where are you going in such a hurry? Sunggyu!!” Dongwoo yelled after him before running after Sunggyu.
Saying that Sunggyu hates Nam Woohyun is not to the point. It's better to call it irritating. Dongwoo once told him that Nam Woohyun didn't really pay attention in class. I like to skip class and read books here and there. But the teacher couldn't say much because the academic results were ranked excellent. Plus he likes to make a grimace all the time (
I swear Sunggyu had only seen Woohyun smile a few times, mostly when he was with a group of friends. Oh, and there was that time when he performed with his friends' band at a school festival in Song. Gyu accidentally walked past the performance stage last year. Smiling and greeting the seniors and juniors who came to cheer, it was so creepy)
He himself had often met Woohyun in the teachers' room. They often walked past each other on the balcony. And whether it's at the cafeteria, the library, the marble tabletop, hmmm, we see each other often, right? But the other party never greeted me. never smile Act like we don't know each other like that. You see, people like Nam Woo Hyun are so annoying that they will die.
Sunggyu didn't care about Nam Woohyun at all, not at all.
“Hey, let's go back today.” Dongwoo nudged Sunggyu on the shoulder, who was sitting in the chair next to him reading a book. It was normal for Dongwoo and Sunggyu to spend time at one of the marble tables in the courtyard in front of the building every evening after school. Sunggyu would sit and read textbooks like a scholar. And of course, Dongwoo will read his favorite comic books.
Sunggyu had seriously said to Dongwoo that... Jang Dongwoo, you sold your soul to reading manga. But Dongwoo just shrugged and continued reading his manga...
“Why did you come back early today? It's only 5 a.m. I don't want to go home yet."
“I didn't invite you home.” Dongwoo waved his index finger in front of Sunggyu.
"You're not going home?"
"yeah"
“Oh, tell me where you want me to go. Come on, come on, what are you doing?"
"I'll tell you this. Don't make a fuss just yet."
"I'm not complaining..."
“Fair enough, this guy can argue all the time. I'm tired of little children being spoiled by their parents."
"You're just the youngest child. Are you going to tell me?"
"Tell me"
"Let's do it."
“Take me to buy a present,” Dongwoo said, not fully audible. But Sunggyu didn't care about his friend's strange behavior.
"That's it, can you hold on?" After saying that, he bent down to put his things in his bag and then got up and walked away, not waiting for his friend for a moment. Dongwoo could only shake his head.
with this friend's personality I really want to know how they were raised at home?
“What are you going to buy?” Sunggyu nibbled his way through the gift shelves of the department store he brought Dongwoo to. Well, Dongwoo, when asked where he was going to buy it, he said he didn't know. I said I wasn't sure what to buy. So Sunggyu took him to the mall where his older sister liked to drag him to buy things as a friend.
“I don't know yet.” Dongwoo looked around and felt dizzy. Why are there so many of them?
"So who will I buy it for? On what occasion? I'll help you choose."
"Let...well...I'm not quite sure..."
“What is this to you?” Seeing Dongwoo gulp and gulp, Sunggyu began to want to scream again like an impatient person.
“Well, I don't know. I...don't know how to tell you.” Dongwoo raised both hands to cover his face and shook his head.
“Don't tell me?” Sunggyu was taken aback. In addition to being good at studying, Sunggyu's sense is also good.
“Don't tell me you're going to buy it for Lee Howon!!!” Sunggyu accidentally said loudly. A slender finger pointed at Dongwoo's face in disbelief. Lee Ho pleads with his friends from Dongwoo's dance club. People that Dongwoo likes praise him almost every other day about how good he is at dancing.
"Oh, that's it. I'm going to buy Howon a Christmas present." Dongwoo responded, covering his face with his hands.
“Well, I'm going to give it to you and then confess that I like it…” A muffled voice still sounded through Dongwoo's palm.
"...." Sunggyu was sure that his face now looked like a hamster that accidentally ate cat food. Dongwoo will confess his love. Oh my friend, he's crazy.
"Don't be quiet. Please help me, Sunggyu.” Dongwoo changed from covering his face to shaking his best friend.
“Have you ever said that you didn't like him very much?” Small eyes narrowed and looked at Dongwoo accusingly.
"I really like it. Ah, never mind me. Two more months and I'll graduate from high school. We may not meet again. If he doesn't think anything of me, that's fine. I looked away for two months and I graduated. I don't think it's a problem." Dongwoo said so easily that Sunggyu didn't know what else to say. Why is your life so easy, Jang Dongwoo?
“As you please. But if you're rejected, don't come and cry for me to see." Sunggyu reminded in a green tone.
“Understood.” Dongwoo smiled and raised his hand cheerfully.
"What should I get? It's a festival full of cute things. But men and cute things It shouldn't work.” Sunggyu scanned the shelves of merchandise until he couldn't decide. Then her small eyes stopped at the various sizes of snowballs that the white hand had chosen.
Grab a medium sized snowball from the shelf. He chose a round crystal ball and inside was a cute little bear sitting alone on a swing. On Little Bear's lap was a fat pink heart. Sunggyu gently shook the orb and the silver flecks spread all over the orb. Look and feel
It's like it's really snowing. I remember my mother used to buy me snowballs for Christmas when I was a kid. Then three days later Sunggyu broke it. If he was going to buy someone a Christmas present, it would probably be this one.
“Should I buy some chocolate?” Dongwoo appeared out of nowhere carrying a few beautifully packaged chocolates and waved in front of Sunggyu.
“Good, it looks good for the festival. Also, when confessing your love with chocolate, I think it would be okay."
"Then I'll go choose first." After saying that, he ran off and disappeared. Sunggyu shook his head lightly. Honestly, I couldn't help but worry about Dongwoo. But his senses thought that Lee Howon probably liked Dongwoo as well. Even though Sunggyu had seen each other often at the dance club when he went
Watching Dongwoo practice dancing but hardly ever talking To say that we knew each other superficially would even be an exaggeration. (He probably knows that his own human relations are at a negative level. This is why people say that Kim Sungkyu is arrogant.)
"finished It looks good, right?” Dongwoo held up the paper bag containing the gifts and waved the bag back and forth before tilting his head to ask at his best friend walking beside him.
"And you didn't buy anything?"
“At my house, Mom and Dad will buy you gifts. Because I still can't earn my own money."
"No, I didn't mean to give it to you at home."
"..." Sunggyu tilted his head to look at Dongwoo. What strange question will you ask again?
"means giving to others Don't you have a special person you'd like to give to?"
“...No,” Sunggyu answered quickly as if it was a question that didn't even need to go through his serum.
"sure?"
"Have you ever seen me interested in anyone?"
"Well, if there's someone you're interested in, I think there's one person."
"Funny," Sunggyu snorted. Don't pretend to know too much, Jang Dongwoo.
"I'm sorry, but I'm your best friend. I know you like Nam Woohyun.” Dongwoo said it like it was normal, but Sunggyu stopped walking as if he was stunned.
"Hey, wait a minute, who likes who?"
“You, you, you like Nam-woo-hyun.” Dongwoo dipped his finger on the soft arm of the person next to him, following the rhythm of his words.
“Who likes Nam Woohyun? No." Sunggyu shook his head quickly. Prepare to walk away, as people tend to do when they don't want to talk about something uncomfortable. But this time Dongwoo grabbed his wrist. So it turned out to be Sunggyu who tried to walk away, dragging Dongwoo along with him.
"Then why did you raise your voice so high?"
"Didn't raise my voice high. And I don't like anyone at all. Then why are you holding me? Just let go, I'm going home now.” Sunggyu frantically went on the way but still dragged Dongwoo along with his strength.
"Accept it and then I'll let go."
Oh god, Sunggyu really wants to disappear from here. What is Dongwoo going to expect from him? Normally, I don't want to know about it. So what's going on wrong with his friend today? What's scary is that Dongwoo is the type that if you want to know something, you have to know it.
"Hurry up, I swear I won't tease you."
"Are you an elementary school student who would tease me like this?"
"Don't change the subject."
“I said no!!” Sunggyu stopped walking and turned around and spoke loudly.
"I don't like it. Why do I have to like that guy?"
"People who don't like to smile That person keeps frowning and likes to say curt and short things. Why should I like it?”
"People who refuse to go to school but sit and study alone and get good grades that are annoying."
“Just being able to play the guitar a little and sing a little beautifully. But he likes to act cool on stage during school events, which is annoying."
"People who don't even smile when they pass each other. I like to act like I'm never in sight..."
Sunggyu stopped talking and gasped from describing the qualities of people who...didn't like...
"Song Sunggyu" Dongwoo was stunned. He also knew that Sunggyu had some interest in Woohyun. But I didn't think that his friend would pay this much attention to each other's details.
“What?” Sunggyu grunted at Dongwoo.
“At first I thought you just liked Nam Woohyun. But now I think you really like Nam Woohyun.”
Sunggyu felt like he had walked into the house and was now floating up the stairs to the second floor... Everything in his head was spinning.
"...I think you really like Nam Woohyun..."
“Oh, you think so?” Sunggyu was in a quandary. He really should have turned into a hamster that ate cat food by now.
“Normally, people who don't care about other people like you... don't have to make that face. This is really your personality... A person who doesn't care about others like you hardly ever sees anyone in his sight. And for you to take other people's matters into consideration, there's no way at all. Just so I can figure out what special feelings you have for that guy.”
Dongwoo put on a confident face and patted Sunggyu's shoulder in encouragement. But it didn't help at all, damn it.
Sunggyu dropped heavily onto the soft mattress. then rolling around He also felt deep down that what Dongwoo said was right. He never cared about anyone except Nam Woo Hyun. And I have to admit that I know a lot about that person. Some things I know myself. Some stories were heard from Dongwoo. But it doesn't mean he likes him at all. But when I think about it,
Perhaps the reason he was annoyed when the other person walked in the opposite direction and never smiled or greeted him. Is it because he is hurt or wants to get attention from the person he likes? Want to exist in Woohyun's eyes Wanting to receive a smile or even a simple greeting would be good... Thinking at this point, Sunggyu raised both hands to cup his cheeks and shook his head.
Why did he feel like he was a little girl in a Japanese cartoon?
T T
“Sungkyu!!!” The owner of the loud voice who opened the door appeared and grabbed Sunggyu's rounded shoulders on both sides before turning his chair around to face each other.
“When are you going to try knocking on the door before entering someone else's room?” Sunggyu turned his chair back to his usual reading table. But when I put the book on the table His swivel chair was turned around again.
"Can I go buy something for my older sister's friend? Good Sunggyu." The older sister pretended to ignore her younger brother's bored expression. Actually, I wasn't interested at all.
“Will you take me as your servant to carry things for you? I won't go today, it's my Sunday." Sunggyu said knowingly.
"It's not a bad thing. Why are you looking at me in such a negative light?” Those small eyes with beautiful eyeliner twinkled cutely at my younger brother.
“Then why do you have to let me go with you? Normally, I can just go here by myself. Unless you want me as your personal servant. More importantly, I am a student preparing for the university entrance exam and must study.” Sunggyu crossed his arms over his chest and raised the matter of the exam to negotiate.
"Wait, I'm here to tell you to be friends. I came to order...not to beg. So follow me quickly. I'll meet you downstairs in ten minutes, okay?" With that, he stormed out of the room. Leaving his younger brother standing there all alone mumbling something about how unfair it was. Needless to say, we already know that both of these residents are spoiled.
“Okay, take this one. I'll go pay the money." The elder sister really didn't take Sunggyu as her servant like he said. But he was used as a model to try on shirts that he would buy for his girlfriend as a gift. And it's more boring than waiting to be the person carrying things. Sunggyu had to try different shirts and shirts until his head was spinning. And I would like to conclude in my heart that no matter what reason my sister invites him to buy things, it always causes him hardship.
While waiting for his older sister to pay, Sunggyu wandered around until he came to the gift zone where he came with Dongwoo the other day...Dongwoo said that he liked Nam Woohyun...Sungkyu. I've been thinking about this for several days. He was glad that Dongwoo himself didn't bring this up again while at school. At least it would allow Sunggyu to live a normal life at school because if Dongwoo kept asking Sunggyu about Nam Woohyun, he would definitely feel weird and avoid confronting Woohyun. (
Even if it's just a random encounter.) And lately, Sunggyu has discovered that every time he is careless, no matter the time, Sunggyu always looked for the other person out of habit. And now just thinking about Nam Woohyun's face Sunggyu suddenly felt his heart beat strangely. This was truly a serious sign for him. Sunggyu had to accept it, right?
"Let's buy it first. If you can't make up your mind, you don't have to give it to me, okay." Slender hand picked up the snowball he had picked up to play with the other day from the shelf and headed towards the cashier. "Wrap it up for me."
“What are you looking at?” Dongwoo, who had come back from the bathroom, leaned out the window next to Sunggyu's study table. Ah, there was Woohyun and a group of friends sitting on a marble table, playing guitar and singing. Secretly looking at Woohyun again, Sunggyu.
“No.” Sunggyu turned back into the classroom as soon as he was caught by Dongwoo.
“Cool,” Dongwoo said absently, looking at Sunggyu and smiling teasingly.
"It's quite disturbing. He both plays the guitar himself and also sings himself. I won't let my friend be born.” Sunggyu rested his head on one arm and looked at Dongwoo who was playing with a Rubik's Cube in his hand.
“Let's just say he's a talented person. Well, I know why you like that guy. Good at studying, good at music, good at sports. Absolutely perfect for you.” Dongwoo's mouth moved smoothly. But his eyes were glued to the toy in his hand. Sunggyu said Dongwoo was really cool at being able to separate nerves like this.
“That's enough. Every time I think about it, my head hurts. Should I be more worried about the university entrance exam?”
“Oh, I made a mistake,” Dongwoo sneered as he twisted the Rubik's cube into the wrong position. before continuing to talk to Sunggyu “Remember what I told you? We only have two months until graduation. I didn't want to regret it later so I decided to tell Howon. And I don't want you to regret it later either.”
“That's true, but you know I don't like doing things like this,” Sunggyu said lazily. He really doesn't like doing things like this. I just have to admit that I like Woohyun. He felt that he was already at a great disadvantage.
“There is no advantage or disadvantage in this matter. Win or lose, Sunggyu. Oh yes, it's done." Dongwoo held up a cube-shaped toy with the same color on each face and happily turned the Rubik's Cube in his hand.
“I really envy your idea, Jang Dongwoo.”
"What are you looking at, Woohyun?"
"No, I just saw a hamster," the guitar owner said with a smile. The reason he chose to sit and practice singing at this table was because when he looked up at a building, he would see someone's face on the side...
"Where?"
"Woohyun, what kind of hamster is this dreaming about? Keep practicing, don't be ridiculous."
“Oh, but why did you agree to sing Christmas songs for the English Club this time? Normally, you'll die by playing yourself." One of the friends asked with curiosity.
"Yes, why don't you like chaos? Every time I agree to just go to the school festival. What kind of club work would you never accept?"
"There's nothing. It was planned to be our band's final stage. Even though it's a club event, I want to make it memorable." Woohyun said with a smile. Kela's guitar continued to accompanies in a good mood, much to the surprise of his friends.
“I think you're strange. Did you smile too much today? Are you sick?" he asked, then put his palm on the forehead of the lead guitarist of the band.
"I'm fine. Let's go band practice." Woohyun laughed at his friends' antics. Before moving to the music club room for practice I only got out of the marble table because the hamster that had been peeking had disappeared from the window frame. Where did he go?
121224 Christmas Eve
Today has finally arrived. Sunggyu sighed for an unknown number of times from the time he walked out of the house and reached the school gates. A white hand tightened the strap of a shoulder bag with a rectangular gift box lying motionless inside.
“Wow!” Sunggyu sighed again. I've come this far. There's already a gift. I'm only lacking your courage, Kim Sungkyu. He clenched his hands into small fists and pounded lightly on both sides of his temples. Sunggyu often acts like this when he's nervous. But now he felt more than just nervous. It would be more accurate to say that Sunggyu was having a mental breakdown.
“Sungkyu, let's go to the English club.” Dongwoo, who was already waiting, immediately grabbed Sunggyu by the arm and pulled him out together, even though he had just entered the classroom before he had even put down his bag.
“Eh, now what about class hours?” Sunggyu gulped. He didn't like skipping class. Since I was born, I have never skipped school once. Dongwoo is about to destroy his pride.
"It's the first period of English class. Teacher lets us go to the club event,” Dongwoo said as he dragged Sunggyu down the corridor.
"You weren't lying, were you?"
“If you're willing to skip school for once in your life, Kim Sunggyu!” Dongwoo refused to argue with Sunggyu any longer. and kept pulling Sunggyu away until he was confused as to why he had to go in such a hurry. Now Sunggyu had completely forgotten that he should have asked about Jang Dongwoo's progress regarding his love confession so that he could use it as a guideline...
“The stage activities will start in about 30 minutes,” Dongwoo ran back and said after leaving Sunggyu for a moment and disappearing into conversation with a second year student who looked like he was some sort of organizing committee member. that
“Oh, let's go look at something over there. It's like giving out free chocolate." Sunggyu didn't seem too enthused about the stage. And didn't wait to hear an answer or rejection from a close friend, but walked slowly and disappeared into the food zone. Well, he wasn't interested in any activities on stage at all.
“My friend can't even see food.” Dongwoo muttered and followed Sunggyu inside. But finding something delicious to eat right now makes sense, too.
Immediately, the sounds of the students acting as MCs on the stage were silenced and replaced by the merciless screams of the students. Dongwoo suddenly realized what he should do. A slender hand grabbed Sunggyu's arm as he was choosing beautiful handmade greeting cards that he planned to buy to write to people at home.
Then forcefully pulled Sunggyu towards the stage where the mini-concert of the hottest band in school was about to begin.
“Hey, Dongwoo, you don't have to go ahead. Just look here.” Sunggyu held himself back as Dongwoo was about to try to lead him through the crowd of fans of the hottest band to the front of the stage.
“No, I dragged you to the English Club just to see you.” Dongwoo didn't give up his effort and kept speaking. Please give me a little direction, competing with the music that is so loud that my ears are ringing all the way. Sunggyu and Dongwoo finally stood at the front of the stage in the same position as the cool guitarist who was drawing patterns on the stage.
“You insisted on bringing me here to come see this guy play the guitar, right?” Sunggyu cupped his hand over his mouth and shouted to Dongwoo.
“Yes, this might be the last time you see Nam Woohyun on stage,” Dongwoo said smiling. Sunggyu didn't know what to say so he just smiled at Dongwoo until his small eyes were nearly closed. Dongwoo is a friend who thinks about his feelings more than he thinks about his own feelings.
“Thank you to everyone who came to see us today. In a few months we will graduate. I want this stage to be a good memory between our group and everyone.” Woohyun looked around, wanting to capture every memory on stage as much as possible. Sunggyu thought that Woohyun would also be devastated that he wouldn't be able to play music in school anymore.
It was like he suddenly felt frightened. That if he graduated, he probably wouldn't meet Woohyun again. There will no longer be Nam Woohyun for him to look up to, to annoy, to want to win over. Just thinking about the moment that this would happen, Sunggyu's eyes became so hot that he blinked quickly and took a deep breath. He couldn't cry in the middle of a crowd like this.
"The last song. It might be selfish for all music fans. with friends in the band But I want to sing this song to someone personally.” Woohyun paused his words and looked directly at the person in front of him. A loud noise came from the surrounding people, but Sunggyu didn't care. He was in utter shock.
And when Sunggyu turned to look at Dongwoo I met Dongwoo who was smiling widely and showing him all 32 teeth.
"I want to sing a song for the person I've been secretly watching from a distance for almost three years."
"People who look like we know each other But I'm not sure if we know each other or not."
Woohyun stopped his words and started strumming his guitar and singing on an acoustic alone. The surrounding people were silent and listened. Even though Woohyun didn't say who the person he was talking about was, But as Woohyun sang a heartfelt love song on stage and kept looking straight down at Sunggyu, While the person being looked at kept their head down, somewhat embarrassed.
He looked up and smiled, then covered his face with his hands, somewhat embarrassed. Only then, all the students who went to the mini-concert already knew who the handsome guitarist was.
As the heartfelt love song ended, Woohyun took off his guitar from his shoulders and jumped off the stage to stand in front of Sunggyu among the hundreds of students who knowingly moved away from the couple. Woohyun gently held Sunggyu's hand. His hand was shaking slightly and Sunggyu could feel it too.
“Do you want to go out with me?” Woohyun asked Sunggyu with a shy smile. His other hand rose to scratch the back of his neck to correct his discomfort when he didn't know where he should put his hand. Sunggyu nodded in response. He wanted to get out of here too. Sunggyu didn't like being around large groups of people, and it was even worse that he was in front of hundreds of students during a moment that could almost be called a confession.
From the front of the circle, Sunggyu saw Dongwoo giving him a thumbs up and clenching his fists rapidly into a fighting stance. Sunggyu smiled at his best friend. Before Woohyun took Sunggyu's hand, he walked out amidst the cheers and teasing of his friends, and besides that, Sunggyu also heard the sound of cursing at him from a group of female students...
Sunggyu kept his head down and dragged the toes of his shiny black leather shoes across the grass... He and Nam Woohyun were now in the garden next to the gym. Because it was still class time, there were hardly any other students in the area. Woohyun continued to hold Sunggyu's soft hand and Sunggyu felt that he was in a state of extreme nervousness.
“Can I call you Sunggyu?” Woohyun was the first to break the silence.
"Sure...that's my name," Sunggyu replied softly. He was still not used to hearing Woohyun's voice this close. In all the time that we've ever talked to each other?
“Then you can just call me Woohyun.”
"Got it? Why"
“Well, your friend Dongwoo said that you kept calling me Nam Woohyun.” Woohyun smiled as he remembered Dongwoo telling him about Sunggyu.
"Heh, you know Dongwoo too?"
"Who doesn't know Jang Dongwoo?"
“I didn't mean it like that. You mean, have you ever talked to Dongwoo?" Sunggyu started to feel a bit awkward. Did he miss something? Have I told you before that Sunggyu's sense is quite good?
"Let's talk sometime. The dance club and music club are next to each other, don't forget that."
"Ah, that's true." Even though he admitted it, he couldn't help but be a little surprised. Dongwoo probably wasn't planning anything behind his back, right?
“Let's stop talking about Dongwoo,” Woohyun cut in and raised the hand that was still holding Sunggyu's and waved it around. And I had to smile because the hamster's cheeks in front of him were turning a bright red, which was pleasing to the eye. Sunggyu immediately jerked his hand away from his grasp. before intertwining their fingers together to play with it Silence enveloped the pair again until Sunggyu thought about what he should say.
“Did you really say that…” The question was like exploding yourself. Sunggyu held his fist next to his temple, signaling that he couldn't continue talking. It's too embarrassing. Around this silk pit, Sunggyu wanted to escape into the pit right now.
"That I secretly looked at you Or that I like you? How?” Woohyun asked with a smile.
“Both.” Sunggyu's voice was soft and he wanted to ask the other person to stop staring at him and saying such blunt things. Just this, he felt that his face was almost bursting with heat.
“I'm telling the truth about both.” Woohyun stared into Sunggyu's eyes. If people say that the eyes are the window to the heart, it is true. Woohyun wanted to open a window for Sunggyu to see his heart clearly.
“Then...why don't you ever smile at me or come up to greet me?” Sunggyu asked what he was most curious about. Every time we met, Woohyun always had to make a grimace and just walk past him.
“Ah, that's it..I thought you didn't like my face. So I thought it would be best not to get involved."
"I don't like your face."
“To be honest, you look like you don't like everyone's face.” After saying that, Woohyun got a small glare from Sunggyu.
"I know I'm not very good at human relations..."
“Very much,” Woohyun continued. And then he was struck again by those little eyes.
“But that doesn't mean I hate everyone. I'm just not used to talking to people I don't know,” Sunggyu said teasingly. Is it hurtful that everyone looks at him like this?
"I know, but you never smile at me either, even though we see each other often."
"Well, you didn't smile first."
“Let's just say we were wasting time because no one was willing to smile at each other first, okay?” Woohyun raised both hands to show he was giving up.
“What if I didn't think for myself? You like me too, right?” Woohyun still didn't take his eyes off Sunggyu and asked what he wanted to hear from Sunggyu. The person who was asked did not answer, but slowly opened the bag and pulled out a gift box. Sunggyu handed the rectangular box to the person in front of him. Woohyun took it and raised his eyebrows, asking, "What is this? Are you giving it to me?"
“I prepared it for you...I was going to tell you today.” Sunggyu lowered his head and used the tip of his foot to scratch the grass again to get rid of his embarrassment, so he didn't see Woohyun who was smiling widely and looking at Sunggyu affectionately. Why are hamsters so cute? But Dongwoo didn't know that Sunggyu would confess his love to him. The whole plan was just for Dongwoo to take Sunggyu to the front of the stage (
But that doesn't count the story of Dongwoo secretly telling Woohyun that Sunggyu liked him two weeks ago.)
“What are you going to tell me?” It seemed like he already knew the answer, but Woohyun still wanted to ask what he wanted to hear from Sunggyu.
“Just tell me like you told me,” Sunggyu was good at making him understand by not being direct. Woohyun thought that Dongwoo's statement that his close friend was very stubborn was probably true.
“No, I won't say any more. You're such a smartass, you know what I mean?” Sunggyu was too embarrassed to say or do anything from now on. So he chose to stubbornly walk away like he always did. But Woohyun was fast enough to grab White's wrist.
"okay I understand The two of us are of the same mind. Did I say something wrong?” Woohyun moved to grab Sunggyu's soft hand and smiled, asking the shy person who just nodded and said nothing.
“Then we're lovers now.” Sunggyu turned away from his embarrassment but intertwined his fingers with Woohyun's hand instead of answering the question from just a moment ago.
"You're really cute, do you know that? Fod~" Woohyun took the opportunity to press his nose quickly onto the soft cheek of the person next to him who kept turning his side because of his embarrassment. This wasn't Woohyun's fault at all. But because of Sunggyu, the more embarrassed he was, the more annoying he was. The more you tease, the cuter you become. The person who had been teased could only gasp and raise his hand to kiss the cheek that had been stolen before he could regain consciousness. Hit the arm of someone who took the opportunity to relieve their embarrassment.
"We're already lovers, so why be shy?" Woohyun said with a smile. Dodge left, dodge right, depending on which side Sunggyu lands his fist on.
"Yah, you're the one!!!" The disadvantaged person could only lash out. I didn't feel anything about being kissed on the cheek, but I was embarrassed. Do you understand Nam Woohyun!!!!!!!!
“Woohyun is amazing. Kiss me on the cheek, we've only been lovers for less than five minutes."
"Wow, that guy is really cool."
“It's all thanks to this Ja Dongwoo.”
"Do you like to interfere in other people's affairs?"
"Lee Howon!!!"
"Hahaha, it's not someone else, it's your best friend...that's what I'm going to say." Howon laughed. Even though he was still chewing chocolate with his mouth full.
"Always knew"
"How can you not know my boyfriend's personality?"
"Are you embarrassed?"
"I'm still going to ask."
“This Christmas our school has two more couples.” Howon tightened his hold on Dongwoo and they walked up to the building after secretly following Sunggyu and Woohyun out. It came because of Dongwoo's concern that he was worried about Sunggyu. But actually Dongwoo just
I want to know every detail of the couple that I worked so hard to make perfect. Howon knows.
....end....
Why this matter has come up, I don't know. The ending is so abrupt and strange ;__;
I don't know what to say about this second story. I'm a person who can't have a little free time. My head will start to get distracted. (Actually, I'm not free, but I act like I'm free.)
I like to sit and think about plots but don't like to compose them. My head is full of short fiction plots. I know that writing anything is very difficult.
Therefore, I will continue to insist on being a reader...
I still think that my writing style will be more like a diary, complaining and idling because I normally just write in a diary every day.
xD
The fic is meaningless and random, just like the author.
Thank you for coming to read. Feel free to criticize as you like. ̄▽ ̄
