At a university..................

“It's been a week already. For the things that happened at that time Until now, I haven't even seen his shadow.” Keito thought back to some events that had happened a week ago. Even though he was not at the event But he understood that feeling very well: "Wow, what will happen now?"

Then he let out a long sigh out of concern for someone. Keito lay with his chin resting on the study table, exhausted.

Throughout the past week, his studies were like a breeze blowing through him. It has come and gone. It wasn't absorbed into his brain at all. Keito lay his head down on the table and turned his head to look at the study table two rows away from his seat. Until now, that table is still empty. I don't know what the owner of the table will be like right now.

Even though it's time for school to end now. But Keito was still sitting in the same place and not going anywhere. In my heart I was thinking about someone all the time. And at that time He saw a figure walking past the classroom. Who was that person he had been waiting for all week?

"Hey!! Yuto,” Keito called, waving his hand to make it clearer. Yuto immediately turned to look at the source of the voice. But those eyes looked dull and lifeless. "Where are you going?" Kaito asked.

“I came to take an exam. So I'm going to go find the teacher in my room." Yuto replied. The look he was looking at Keito was really empty. There was no spark of cheerfulness. Those mischievous eyes that Keito had ever seen. Now it is nowhere to be seen. "I'll excuse myself first," Yuuto said and walked away.

“Pay attention to the exam, Yuuto,” Keito shouted after him.

Nearly three hours had passed and Keito was still sitting in the classroom. He tried to raise his head to see when Yuuto would finish his exams and walk past this way. But until then, Yuto still hadn't seen a shadow appear at all.

“Is that guy finished with his exam yet? Why hasn't it appeared yet? When we took the exam, I didn't think it would take this long.” Keito sat and waited impatiently. “Better go sit in front of the teacher's room and wait.” Thinking about it, Keito picked up his bag and quickly left the classroom and headed for the teacher's room.

Keito peered through the room window but couldn't see the figure of the person he was waiting for. So he decided. Open the room door and go in to see clearly for confidence.

He looked around the room but couldn't find him. "Keito, what's wrong with you? Why are you standing there secretly?" the teacher sitting at the desk inspecting work asked Keito. The person being asked was startled because the question was asked unexpectedly.

"Uh..." Keito was stunned.

“Say something.” The old teacher stared intently, waiting to hear Keito's answer.

“I came to see Yuuto. I saw that he came to ask for an exam from the teacher. And where is he now?" Keito replied to the teacher. Then I asked the teacher for another person because I looked around and didn't see Yuto in the room.

“He finished his exams a while ago. And then I went back,” the teacher replied.

“Huh?? I'm back." Keito blurted out loudly. Then it was like he thought about it, so he turned down the volume and adjusted his mood to normal. “Why didn't I see him when he walked back? I'm waiting for him in the classroom. If you want to go back, you have to walk through that room.”

“Teacher doesn't know this either. But no matter what, I'll leave you to take care of him too, Keito. Because the teacher himself saw that Yuuto was acting strangely.”

“Yes, thank you very much, Master. I'll excuse myself first." Keito promised the teacher. He then left the teacher's room to continue looking for Yuto.

Keito walked around looking at every available classroom but couldn't find Yuuto.

"Where have you been?" Keito muttered in concern. But even though he complained, his feet still continued to search for him. If you meet anyone who knows Yuto along the way, they ask for you. But no one saw it.

Keito stopped and thought about where he hadn't looked. No matter what, Yuto still has to stay in this building. Because if you want to leave the building, you have to pass the classroom where they were waiting before. But he still didn't see Yuuto walking past. Even though he didn't leave that room and go anywhere. and did not take his eyes off the balcony in front of the room at all

“Rooftop!!” Keito realized this and his face turned red. He immediately turned around and ran up the stairs to the roof of the building. "Don't think of doing anything stupid, Yuto."

“Hee hee hee,” Keito stopped and gasped. He held his hand against his side in front of the door before it opened onto the building's rooftop. He opened the door but in front of him there was no one there.

"Hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee" sound heard from Keito He tried to listen carefully to see where the cries were coming from. Once he knew the direction the sound came from, he walked straight to that point.

The sky was getting darker and darker and it was difficult to see anything. Then Keito found someone sitting with his back turned to him and hugging his knee, sobbing alone. So he walked up to that person and gently put his hand on his shoulder.

Yuuto felt Keito's hand gently rest on his shoulder. Then turn around and look at the owner of that hand. He wiped away tears with his sleeve. Then he stared at Keito with trembling eyes. Yuuto's bloodshot eyes still had some tears as if he wanted to cry out loud one more time.

“It's okay, Yuuto. Cry out, cry enough, just because crying doesn't mean you're weak. It's just an indication of your feelings.” Keito said in a soft voice and hugged Yuto from behind.

Yuto remained silent, not saying anything. After a while he turned back to Kayto and embraced Kayto. All the sad feelings within Yuto's heart were released as tears flowed down like a waterfall.

“Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu” Yuuto woke up in the morning while stretching lightly on his bed. When he opened his eyes fully, he found that he was now sleeping in his own bedroom. Yuuto was very surprised. “How did we get back home? Yesterday we were still on the roof of the school building.

And who brought us back?”

Yuuto tried to review his memories of yesterday. But he couldn't figure out how he had come back home and who had brought him back.

While Yuto was thinking about the events, There was a knock on the room door. Then he saw his younger brother Raiya walking into the room. “Good morning, brother.”

“Oh, good morning,” Yuuto smiled and greeted his brother back. “Uh, Raiya, do you know who brought you home last night?” Yuuto asked his brother.

“How am I going to know? Well, I fell asleep before my brother got home,” Raiya replied.

“Then that's fine. You can go ask mom." Yuto said and got up from the bed.

“Brother,” Raiya called out before Yuuto walked out of the bedroom.

"What's wrong?" Yuuto asked confusedly.

“Before you ask anything from Mom. I think you'd better go wash your face and eyes first,” Raiya suggested.

“Oh, okay.” Yuto then changed direction, walked back, picked up a towel, and walked into the bathroom.

After a while, Yuto walked down from the second floor of the house. The whole house was so quiet that even the ants falling down the stairs could be heard. *This one is too much*

“I don't see anyone. Where have you all gone?" Yuuto muttered softly to himself. Then look for other members of the house. But I didn't see anyone. “I guess Mom is in the kitchen.”

Yuto walked towards the kitchen. Then he saw his mother preparing breakfast in the kitchen exactly as he had thought. With Raiya, his younger brother, waiting to cause trouble beside him.

“Good morning, Mom,” Yuuto greeted his mother with a smile.

“Good morning.”

"Uh.... Mom, do you know who dropped me off at my house yesterday?" Yuto asked what had been bothering him since he woke up with his mom.

“Oh, he said his name was Keito. It's really cute. That kid seems polite too. He speaks well and is also good-looking.” Yuto's mother describes the qualities of the person who brought Yuto home with admiration.

“Thank you, Mom. Then I want to go out.” Yuto didn't listen to his mother's complaints any longer and quickly left the kitchen.

“Oh, where are you going? Aren't you going to eat something first?" Mother shouted but couldn't make it in time. Because Yuuto ran out of the house.

Yuto walked slowly until he reached a village. His eyes looked at the sign in front of each house to find someone's house. Then he stopped and stood in front of a house. He stood and looked at the front doorbell alternating with the house. Then he decided to ring the bell to call people in the house. But there was still no response from the people in the house. "Or I'm not at home," Yuuto said to himself.

Then his brain tells Yuuto to try ringing the doorbell again. But there was still no response. “There really isn't anyone home.” Yuuto walked out of the front of the house. But then I had to stop. because he heard something loud coming from inside the house

“Crack!” The sound of the locked doorknob from inside rang out as someone opened the door. Yuuto looked into the house and saw Keito standing in front of the house with a sleepy face as if he had just woken up with his hair messed up and looking very disheveled.

The owner of the house had just opened the door to see who was coming. I even had to rub my eyes and look to make sure I wasn't looking wrong. When his eyes cleared, he was sure that the person standing in front of his house ringing the doorbell was actually Yuuto. He didn't think of it himself.

“Come in first, Yuto.” Kayto invited Yuto into the house.

Yuto came in and sat on the sofa in the living room. As for Keito, he went up to his room to take a shower and change his clothes. Because the outfit he wore before was pajamas, which was not suitable for welcoming guests at all.

It wasn't long before Keito came back downstairs. Then he sat down on another sofa near where Yuuto was sitting.

"What brought you here?" Kaito asked.

“I came here to thank you. that took me back to my house If it weren't for you last night, I might definitely be lying on that rooftop drying out the dew.”

"Oh, it's fine. That's all." Keito said and smiled kindly at Yuto.

“Is there something you want to know?” Yuto asked, stopping there to see Keito's reaction. “You know, I never knew your existence before,” Yuuto said, and he stopped his words again.

Yuuto's words were like a sharp knife that was stabbing into the heart. Has he never been in Yuuto's sight all this time? All this time, had he been just an ethereal aether to Yuuto?

“Uh, I'm really sorry if what I said made you feel bad. But I hope From now on, we can be good friends, Keito,” Yuto said feeling extremely guilty.

“Such a good friend? I don't want it at all. That I want It's more than friendship." Keito thought to himself. "Oh, sure." Keito responded and smiled at Yuto. A smile that hides the pain in my heart

After that, a new friendship begins between Keito and Yuto. Even though it started out as a friendship that Keito didn't want.

The couple often goes everywhere together. Walk to and from university together. And it also made the love hidden within Kayto's heart for Yuto increase even more.

Until time passes The love Keito has is so overwhelming that he can't keep it in his heart any longer. Keito tries to find a way to confess his love to Yuto. Then he thought of some methods.

One day, Keito invites Yuuto to go to an amusement park together. In Yuto's feelings, it was normal for him to hang out with Keito. But for Keito It means more than that.

Throughout the day, the two of them continued to play on various playground equipment. and ended at the Ferris wheel Up there, you can see the Tokyo cityscape as far as the eye can see as the sun sets. They are things that seem contradictory but work together perfectly.

Keito was extremely nervous. because he thought of confessing his love to the person in front of him But every word was swallowed up. I don't know what to say first.

"What's wrong with you, Keito?" Yuto asked, seeing Keito's flustered expression.

“Pa, pa, pa, it's nothing. The view up here is beautiful, right?” Keito denied and quickly changed the subject.

“Oh, it's really beautiful,” Yuuto said as his eyes looked at the sunset scenery in front of him. and happily immerse yourself in its beauty

"Uh......Yuto," Keito called.

“Huh??” Yuto turned and looked at Keito.

"I'm secretly in love with someone," Keito said.

“Really?” Yuuto asked in an excited tone. “Who are you secretly in love with? Can you tell me?”

“That person is.....that's you, Yuto,” Keito finally confessed, staring into Yuto's eyes. who is now stunned to the point of having finished eating

“I know it would seem very stupid to talk to you like this. Because we are friends but......."

"Sorry, Keito," Yuuto interrupted before Kayto could say anything else. Then everything fell into silence. Yuuto's eyes seemed to be slightly watery. Keito didn't know where the tears came from.

Keito's heart felt like it had stopped beating. Yuto's apology was like a good rejection. He tried to control himself from crying. Keito took a deep breath and smiled at the person in front of him.

“It's okay, Yuto. I didn't expect you to love me. But if this love will also end our friendship I will stop all my feelings just like this, stop at just our friendship. Just let us continue to be good friends. I am very satisfied.”

Keito said and turned his head to look at the sun that was waving goodbye to today. The city lights were on and the Ferris wheel they were sitting on was also lit up. Along with the moon starting to work, it floats prominently in the sky alongside millions of other stars.

That whole night, Yuto couldn't force his eyes to fall asleep. He still remembered Keito's sincere eyes as he confessed his love to him. But deep within Yuto's heart, he was afraid that the events that had happened to him before would happen again. Events before he became friends with Keito If that were the case, this time his heart would definitely be shattered into dust and nothing good.

Today's incident reminded Yuuto of the things he had been trying to forget for the past two months.

Earlier on Christmas Day.................

"Yuri, you wait here for me. I'll be right back," Yuto said to his lover, Yuri.

“Where are you going?” Yuri asked.

“I forgot something in the classroom. I'll go back and get some. You wait here, don't go anywhere."

"Um, alright, I'll wait." Yuri nodded in agreement.

Yuto then runs back to the classroom to bring the Christmas present he hid to Yuri as a surprise for his lover. As he walked almost to where Yuri was waiting, Yuto heard the sounds of people talking coming from that direction.

Yuto stopped at the corner of the corridor. Then he stretched out his face to look. What he saw was Yuri standing and talking to someone, looking very close.

Yuuto just stayed there, waiting for the other person to leave first before he walked over to Yuri. whereas......

“Yuri-chan, when will Yuri-chan break up with that guy? I can't wait any longer,” the man said to Yuri. But those words shocked Yuto almost to the point of unconsciousness.

“So I'm looking for an opportunity to break up. But that guy was so stubborn and trying to please me that I didn't know how to break up with him,” Yuri said, and it was like a second sword that struck Yuuto's heart.

“So you're still mourning that guy,” the man said sarcastically.

"Who told you? I love only my seniors," Yuri said, leaning his arm around the man's neck and planting a kiss on his lips.

After a moment, they separated their lips from each other. "I'll wait, Yuri-chan. When can you break up with that guy so we can have an open relationship?"

“I probably won't have to wait. If you want to break up, you can tell me right now.” Yuto couldn't stand the actions of the two of them, so he came out to show himself to them that he was there. It's not a main point that anyone can overlook or trample on your feelings.

“Yuto-kun,” Yuri was startled by Yuuto's sudden appearance, “It's that...”

“Don't say anything, Yuri. I heard everything clearly. So let's just end this for the two of us.” Yuuto said and tears of regret immediately streamed down his cheeks. “Let's love each other for a long time, Yuri. Takaki-senpai,” Yuto wished the two of them well before rushing out of there.

And soon after, the news that Yuto broke up with Yuri. And Yuri's relationship with Takaki-senpai begins to spread throughout the university. And Keito is not at all upset about what happened with Yuto. Because after that day, Yuuto didn't come to class again for a week. Until the day Yuuto came to ask for an exam and went to sit and cry on the roof of the building.

Yuuto thought about that incident and tears threatened to fall again. He lay tossing and turning anxiously. I don't know if he was right or wrong about rejecting Keito today. Right now, many thoughts are all clashing together. But he knew one thing that when he was with Keito he was very happy.

And be able to express yourself as much as possible without having to pretend anything at all.

“Yaw~~~~” As the tension eased, Yuto suddenly felt sleepy. Even though he couldn't sleep before, Yuuto couldn't stand the sleepiness and finally fell asleep.

The next morning, Keito arrived at class early. Today he didn't come with Yuto because yesterday's incident made him not dare to face his friends. But when he arrived in the classroom, he found that he was not the only one who had arrived in the classroom early. But there was someone else already in the room.

"Good morning Keito," Yuri greeted his classmate.

"Good morning," Keito greeted back politely and walked straight to his seat. He picked up his iPod and turned on some music. Meanwhile, Yuri continued to read the magazine in his hand.

Yuri glanced at Keito out of the corner of his eye. Keito could feel the radiation from Yuri's eyes but he ignored it.

“Kaito, I feel like you and Yuuto are getting very close these days,” Yuri broke the silence, his eyes still on the magazine he was holding. But Keito continued to ignore what Yuri said. Until it made Yuri, who was arrogant, unable to stand it, stood up and rushed towards Keito. Along with pulling the headphones from Keito's ears.

“Did you hear what I just said?” Yuri raised his voice to ask, angrily at the other party's indifference.

“I heard that, but I don't know what your intentions are. So I don't know what to answer to you,” Keito replied softly.

“So?”

“Um, what if I'm close to Yuuto? And why would you do that?" Kaito asked back.

“I think it's better for you to stay away from Yuuto,” Yuri said, causing Keito to furrow his eyebrows in confusion.

“Why do I have to do that? Since it wasn't you who left Yuuto? And now that you're talking to me like this, what exactly do you want?” Keito asked with a slight annoyance in his voice.

"Because I still love him, so you can stay away from him, understand?" Yuri said, pulling his hand up Keito's collar.

Keito removed Yuri's hand from the collar of his shirt and adjusted it to a new position. “If you really love him. Why did you leave him then and go be with Takaki-senpai? Oh no, I have to say that at that time you were more of a two-hander, dating both Yuuto and Takaki-senpai.”

“Keito, you are…” Yuri felt so betrayed that he couldn't say anything. He then raised his head and was about to slam his fist onto Keito's face. But Keito was quicker and grabbed the smaller man's wrist before the fist could land on his face. “Who I date is my business.

It's none of your business,” Yuri said, annoyed at not being able to do anything to the person in front of him.

“What if I don't do as you say? What do you think?” Keito asked curiously.

“I will make Yuuto hate you. Just like he hates me right now,” Yuri said, looking at Keito with mischievous eyes.

“What are you going to do?” Keito asked.

“Huh huh huh~~~” Yuuto hummed as he walked along the path in a good mood. Now he finally thought about how he felt about Keito. He should accept Keito's good feelings for him, right? So that he doesn't lose the best thing in life. Yuto then decides to come confess his love to Keito.

But when he opened the classroom door, he saw Keito kissing Yuri. Yuto stopped in front of the door. And then it was like reliving old images that had deeply moved Yuuto to come back again. The image of the person he loves betraying him indifferently is like taking a knife and sticking it into his heart.

Yuuto ran out of there without any delay. Because the tears that were in his eye sockets were about to overflow.

Keito, who saw Yuto running away, quickly pushed Yuri off of him and immediately ran after Yuto, but he didn't know where Yuto was right now. But he tried to search everywhere. And then it seemed like he remembered something. Keito then turned around and ran in the other direction.

Keito ran up the stairs to the building's rooftop. The place where he found Yuuto crying and feeling sad when he first broke up with Yuri. And then it happened as expected. When he opened the door to the rooftop He heard a sobbing sound that sounded very familiar to his ears.

Kayto walked closer to Yuuto, who was sitting with his back turned. “Yuto,” Kayto called, placing his hand lightly on Yuuto's shoulder.

Yuto immediately removed Keito's hand from his shoulder. Then he turned to stare at Keito with anger in his eyes. Until Keito was taken aback slightly.

“You still dare to arrest me? Yesterday you came to confess your love to me. And today you kissed Yuri. If you just want to play with my feelings, I can tell you now that you have won!”

Keito is very sorry about what happened. But I don't know how to explain to the person in front of me that it was all Yuri's plan.

“No Yuto, you have to listen to me. I never thought of playing with your feelings. I really love you.”

"You don't have to lie to me. Go. I want to be alone." Yuuto not only didn't believe Keito's words, But he also drove Keito away.

Keito didn't know what to do so he complied and left Yuto alone. Let him calm himself down.

Yuto returns home feeling different from every day.

“I'm back~~” Yuuto said in a languid voice, similar to someone who was exhausted.

“Brother, I have a letter for you. I put it on the table in the room.” Yuto's younger brother, Raiya, walked up to tell him and then went back to sitting in the living room to watch television.

Yuto didn't answer, just nodded and walked up to his room. Then he saw the letter Raiya was talking about on the table. He picked it up and looked at it. Then he lay down on the bed weakly before opening it and reading it.

To Yuto...........

I know that you probably don't want to talk to me right now, so I thought it would be a good idea to write you a letter. I just want to tell you that what happened between me and Yuri is not what you think. It was Yuri's plan to make you hate me like I hate him. Yuri told me to stay away from you because he still loves you.

But I don't think I will follow him. So the incident that you saw happened happened. Maybe the timing was just too perfect? But I swear everything I told you was the truth.

I will always love only you, Yuto. and will love forever I will never leave you like Yuri did to you. It may just be a vague promise that cannot be found stable. But I will prove it with my own actions that everything I said is the truth that comes from my heart. Maybe you don't have to accept my love right now.

But at least I just want the two of us to be good friends like before. Is that all you'll get, Yuto?

Yuuto smiled after reading the letter. He put it back in the envelope before putting it in the desk drawer. Then he picked up a towel and walked into the bathroom to freshen up by taking a shower.

After finishing his personal mission, Yuto left his own house and went straight to Kayto's house. When he arrived, he stood and rang the doorbell several times before Kayto opened the door.

Keito's eyes widened when he saw Yuuto standing in front of him. Because he never thought that Yuuto would come to him, even more so in a situation like today.

Keito had to invite Yuuto to go up to the bedroom to talk because his father's friends were all over the house today, so the living room wasn't available.

Yuto sat down on Keito's bed. Keito also pulled out a chair at the writing desk and sat down. But Keito suddenly sat up, not knowing what to say first.

“I'm sorry,” Yuto said, breaking the silence first.

Keito turned to look at Yuto, "It's okay. You didn't do anything wrong."

“No, it was my fault. It is wrong to judge something based on just a little of what you see. I apologize for not listening to your explanation.”

Keito rose from his chair and knelt in front of Yuuto. “You have forgiven me, right, Yuto?” Keito asked, holding Yuto's hand loosely.

Yuuto nodded in response. “So we can be friends like before, right?” Keito asked. But this time Yuuto shook his head. This made Keito stunned. “Why are you still angry at me?” Keito asked.

"No," Yuto denied.

“Then why can't we just be friends?”

“Because.....because we should be more than friends,” Yuuto said, his face suddenly turning red with embarrassment at what he had just said and turning his head away to look away.

Keito was speechless. I didn't expect everything to be this fast.

“Don't be so quiet. What did you say, Keito?” Yuuto turned around and smiled at Keito.

Keito grinned back. “Thank you, Yuuto. I love you very much,” Keito said and his eyes stared deeply into Yuuto's eyes sweetly and Yuuto looked back at him as well.

Keito put his face closer to Yuuto. Then planted his first kiss on Yuto's lips. The first touch between the two of them after throwing off their friendship.

To be more than friends is really difficult....................
