legend
I'm Christina Venture, or as my talented photographer and others in the office call me, "Christy." I'm a news writer from A publishing house in America Was sent to write a report in Thailand with the extremely bizarre topic "Legend" or
Legend
in my language When I was originally assigned this task, I read and read and read. Review what I really need to write the report. Why did they have to send me to a small developing country like this? If you want something truly legendary Why not go to England, France, Italy, China?
or countries with a long civilization like the Nile River Basin Or Amazon or something like that? I will take a look back and see how far back I was when I accepted the job from Sister Maria. my editor

“Hyung, I saw Peter say he wanted to meet me. I don't know if there's something wrong with that.”
"Oh Christy, please sit down. We have some business to talk about."
“But bro, last time I knew how much the people there were bothering my castle, I probably wouldn't…”
“First of all, it's not that matter. I have urgent work and hope to get your cooperation. Let's take a look."
I received the document envelope that Sister Maria had sent me, opened it and read the contents of the work details in front of me, then frowned and put everything in the envelope. Gather your thoughts and think about this crazy job. I have never had a job that required me to travel this far. Including the news that I have written before, it has only been about the economy. What is this politics? "Legend" and "Thailand" I stood up. I looked into the eyes of my female supervisor before speaking.
“When do you want me to start work? If you ask me no matter what, I will definitely cooperate fully.”
That's what I said back then. Ha! Why are you going crazy? That's the boss. If you do that, you'll lose your job. Old cases still not resolved Please take care of me a little.
“Everything is ready. Including airplane tickets. You can pack your travel bag. And I hope to get good writing from you. If there is nothing else, please.”
And that was the starting point that brought me and my regular cameraman who had been covering news with me for 2 years to come here. A village that...is it correct to use the word "barren" or should I say far from civilization? How should I write a report? I only know that in the upper east of this country they say so.
I walked around the village. Trying to find anything to write and send. I'll hurry back.
A young girl with parted hair walked in with a bowl of water in her hand and stood smiling before gesturing to pass the bowl of water to her.
“Mom said that my older sister just arrived and must be tired. Please drink some water.”
I stood still, waiting for the interpreter to translate what the girl had said. And the more I listened, the more confused I became. Looking in the direction the girl had come from, she saw a middle-aged woman, probably the child's mother, smiling as she used some leaves to weave a basket-like thing. The only thing I don't understand is... Why are they so nice to me when they don't even know who I am? What is the purpose?
I could only keep my doubts in check, smiling at both the girl in front of me and her mother before taking a bowl of water and drinking from it and passing it to my cameraman before glancing inside the girl's house, a picture appeared. Image of a man wearing glasses And it's not just the little boy's house. I glanced at another house and saw a picture of this man as well. It may just be that their demeanor is somewhat different, but I'm pretty sure it's the same person.
“Who is that? Why is there that picture in every house?”
That's what I asked the girl in front of me. But the answer is what has surprised me the most since I came here.
“That's Dad.”
The short answer I can't understand. This is not possible in every home. will have the same father But 3 days after that, something changed my opinion.
A young girl volunteered to take me and the cameraman to various places. Anything I didn't understand, I asked a young girl or a nearby villager through my translator. And everything is about Dad. That man with glasses in the shape of every house. There are strange turbines floating above the water.
The proportion of rice fields that include gardens, animal farms, and residences. A strange oil used to generate electricity in this village. Everything had to do with that man.
And that made me begin to understand the word that girl's father more. This father is admirable. And your children, for me as a foreigner, are truly enviable. And this is what I wrote to my editor on the topic of legends in Thailand.
"A legend that still breathes"
The stories of this man were laid out on the page with my pen. A ten-page news report, although it may seem like a lot But it could not be compared with the things that all the girls and villagers told me. The three days I have been here have given me so much. And I hope that those of you who read this will have a good opportunity like me as well.
