Romeo and Juliet [Hermione and Malfoy version]
Many people may think that living a life like in a fairy tale is a good thing. But you guys don't know. Living our own life without having to go through any books is the best thing. Even if your story just happens to be like a novel written by a famous author.
“What is that you are reading? "Hermione," Ron Weasley's voice rang out, competing with the sound of a red steam locomotive speeding across the grass.
Hermione looked up at Ron. Harry was sitting in the corner next to him. The three children were about to make their final journey to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the last time.
"Romeo and Juliet," Hermione replied simply.
"Romeo and Juliet," Ron repeated confusedly. He thought Hermione was reading a standard seventh year spellbook.
“Yes,” the girl said, turning her attention back to the book.
"I didn't think you'd read a novel with him," Ron said suspiciously. Hermione looked up from her book again.
“It's not a novel, Ron!” she cried. “It's a novel written by the world-famous author William. Shakespeare,” said Hermione.
"Oh, I've never heard of him," Ron said casually, lifting his long legs onto the empty seat.
“You probably haven't heard of it. That's because you're not taking any Muggle Studies classes," Hermione retorted, Ron frowning.
"Don't tell me you're taking a Muggle Studies course this year," Ron snorted, causing Hermione to blush.
“Yes, I did,” she admitted.
“But isn't your schedule already full? You've taken a lot of other subjects," Harry interjected.
“Yes, Harry.”
“So what will you do? Going back to using the old time clock?” Ron asked, referring to the time clock that had helped Hermione complete all her subjects in third year.
“No, I won't use it. But I had agreed with the teacher that I would not have to take this class. But I have to be able to learn on my own. and work to send to the teacher,” said Hermione at length.
"And I received this privilege because I scored over three hundred percent on my third year exam," she explained. Harry and Ron were silent for a moment.
"I believe you, Hermione. Why would you go to school when you already know everything about Muggles?" Ron said, confused.
“I am taking the Muggle Studies course this year because I want to be eligible to take the B.Sc. exam. Did you know that for some work this subject score is just as important as other major subjects?” Hermione began to explain about the B.B.S. score. and endless career stories Harry and Ron clearly saw the danger signs.
"And it would be really bad if I had to miss out on a lot of good work because I didn't have a grade in this subject..." said Hermione. And it wouldn't have ended so easily if Harry hadn't interrupted her first.
“Uh, don't you need to see Professor McGonagall? "Hermione?" Harry asked. Hermione was startled as if she had just realized.
“Damn, how could I forget that?” she cried, bouncing from her chair.
Hermione had recently been appointed as the school's student body president. She looked very excited and happy about the role she was given. But Harry and Ron already knew that the position would belong to her.
"And do you know who becomes the student body president?" Harry asked. Hermione shook her head.
"Probably not Malfoy," said Ron, looking horrified.
"I don't think someone like Malfoy would be president, Ron, as long as Dumbledore was sane," said Hermione, as was typical. But in her heart she was also afraid that she would have to work with him.
"I'd better go. I'll stop by when I'm done talking to the teacher," said Hermione before leaving the closet.
She made her way to the first train, which was the student council president and prefects' carriage. But she didn't see Professor McGonagall there. So the girl decided to go sit in the president's booth and wait.
The interior of the president's cabinet was more spacious and luxurious than normal student cabinets. Hermione sat down on a large crimson cushion and picked up a book in her hand to read. Not much time has passed. The sound of the door opening loudly rang out. Hermione looked up. And she saw a blond boy standing there, it was Draco Malfoy!
Malfoy looked at Hermione in surprise. like you
"Why are you here?" she asked, Malfoy looking confused.
“Strange question. If I didn't have a position, what kind of heaven would I come here for?” he replied.
Hermione noticed the silver badge with the letters 'P.N.' on his chest and gasped. There was no doubt that Dumbledore was still sane. Malfoy walked in and sat in the seat across from Hermione and looked at her from head to toe. The girl's face was pink.
“What were the teachers thinking that made me come work with you?” he said.
"I was wondering why the professors would put someone so unqualified for this position," Hermione immediately retorted.
"Do you think it's me or Granger?" Malfoy said, standing up immediately. Hermione acted casually, as if she was clueless. Even though Malfoy was now nearly a foot taller than her. and seemed strong enough to break her tiny wrist with his bare hands.
“Don't think I'd want to work with you, Mudblood!” he said. “Just having to breathe the air of a world with someone like you makes me suffocate!” Hermione glared at him. angry She rose from her seat and came face to face with him.
"Even though I'm not as pure-blood as you, Malfoy," Hermione said through gritted teeth. “But I don't have a father who is a prisoner of Azkaban!” Hermione screamed loudly, causing Malfoy to freeze, his face white with anger.
"Back off your words, Granger," he snapped, shoving Hermione into the red cushion. His face was distorted with anger.
“Isn't what I said true?” she said fearlessly. But she almost wanted to smack herself when she saw Malfoy's next expression. His face was whiter than before. Pale eyes were burning with fire.
“Don't show off to me, Granger. With anyone but me,” Malfoy growled, pressing her body against the cushion. Hermione's hand frantically searched for her wand. But the girl was shocked when she realized that she had forgotten to take it from the cupboard!
“What's wrong, Granger? Are you scared?" Malfoy sneered when he saw the look of terror on Hermione's face. Young girl raises her head
“I have never been afraid of you,” she said defiantly. Even though I was very afraid in my heart.
"Oh, so then let's see if she really has the courage she says." Malfoy smiled and took out his wand. "When I turned you into an ugly toad," Hermione's face turned pale.
"You don't want to curse me, Malfoy," she said quietly but with determination.
“Of course I would. I'm sorry,” he replied.
"And if anyone comes by and sees it," Hermione continued. Malfoy froze. "If someone sees you cursing at me and it reaches the professor's ears..." she teased. sound
"Perhaps you were removed from your position before you had served," said Hermione.
"Are you threatening me, Granger?" Malfoy said through gritted teeth.
"Or what I just said isn't true," she retorted. Malfoy looked thoughtful for a moment. Then he had a smile on the corner of his mouth.
“Then I'll have to change to something else instead. Something else I don't have to be afraid of being seen by,” Malfoy said slyly. Hermione frowned. But before she had a chance to know what he was going to do next. Malfoy then pulled her body close and kissed her.
“Ah............!” cried Hermione. She struggled as Malfoy's arms squeezed her body. The boy crushed his lips against hers in satisfaction. Hermione squirmed in his arms until Malfoy released her.
“Why are you doing this?” she cried, wiping her lips with the back of her hand.
"Don't think I'd want to do this to someone like you, Granger," Malfoy said smugly. “But I'm doing this because it's the only way to stop your boasting!” he told her.
Hermione blushed. She felt angry like never before. And when she regained consciousness, her palm swung across Malfoy's face.
“Phew!” Malfoy's face turned at the force of the slap. The young man looked puzzled and shocked.
"Bad is probably too little for Mr. Malfoy!" the girl said, tears welling in her eyes with anger. before she turned and walked out of the closet. Followed by the sound of the door closing loudly.
Malfoy rubbed his hand against the cheek that had been slapped, looking half angry and half shocked. But his eyes were filled with confusion like never before. As the boy watched, Hermione's back slowly disappeared from view.
Hermione walked away without realizing that she had forgotten an important book!
Hermione walked out of the chairman's booth without even looking behind her. She pounded her feet all the way until she reached the booth where her two friends were sitting. The young girl yanked open the door. He slammed it shut before sitting down on the cushion where Crookshanks was lying. The orange cat screeched in displeasure and jumped away towards Harry.
But Hermione didn't seem to care about the orange furry cat in the slightest. The girl crossed her arms over her chest, a grimace on her face. Harry and Ron exchanged glances.
"What's wrong with you, Hermione?" Harry asked worriedly.
"Well, Malfoy…" she almost said what had just happened a moment ago. But the girl stopped herself in time. After all, she probably didn't want her two friends to know about what Malfoy had done to her. Even though Harry and Ron had crushed him to dust after finding out.
“Malfoy, why? He's looking for trouble with you?" Ron asked, looking worried. But his tone was vengeful. Hermione gulped.
“No, Malfoy, he....” She faltered, “Malfoy, he was just appointed as student body president.”
Hermione did not return to the chairman's cabinet again for the rest of the trip. Until the journey ends All the students entered the hall before the Sorting began like every year before, after the Sorting Hat sang a song they had composed for this year (about friendship and bonds between the four Houses).
It had arranged to place the first year students one by one into homes suitable for them. Until the Sorting Hat sent the last child into his house (Slytherin), Professor McGonagall put away the Sorting Hat and the high chair. Ron wondered why the gold plate was still empty. But then Professor Dumbledore stood up.
"I have a few words to say before you all enjoy our delicious food," Dumbledore said. Ron pouted. “I must inform you that this year is going to be a little special.”
"Is there going to be a Quidditch World Cup at school?" Ron said sarcastically. Until Dumbledore looked at him through crescent-shaped glasses. Ron suddenly stopped talking. With that, Dumbledore cleared his throat slightly and began speaking again.
“Because this year the school will hold a dance party again. After being away for many years This Halloween,” said Dumbledore. Ron gasped ( "No!" ) and a murmur sounded throughout the hall.
"Alright, be quiet," Professor McGonagall's voice sounded. The gossip immediately quieted down.
"The school thought it would be good if we had a small party to bond with students from different countries," Dumbledore began to explain. “Therefore, this upcoming banquet will be an event that requires fancy dress. And students do not need to find a partner to go to the event. But we want them to make friends.
Under a mask you don't know,” he said. Dumbledore's eyes lit up with amusement.
“Until midnight Only then will we be allowed to take off the mask.” As soon as he finished speaking, there was an uproar again. It seemed that the female students were especially excited about the upcoming banquet. As for the men, they all had horrible looks on their faces.
“As for other details of the event, I will inform you later. Because right now I can hear the groaning of many of you's stomachs. Now, let's eat." He smiled at Ron. And when Dumbledore finished speaking, there was a loud cheer and the sound of forks and knives clashing throughout the hall.
A week has passed since the start of school. Everyone is still talking non-stop about the dance party that will be held at the end of next month. Some female students were whispering to each other about what to wear to the event. But some people keep it a secret. Because wearing a fancy dress is quite a surprise.
"What are you going to dress up as, Hermione?" Ron asked as the three of them sat in the crowded common room.
“I don't know,” she replied curtly, busy with the pile of books in front of her.
“I think I should dress up as a mummy. So I can trick Parvati.” Ron turned to Harry to consult. He still remembers the boggart turning into a mummy when he saw her.
"Then I'll dress up as a spider," Harry teased. Ron looked like, 'I'll kill you if you do that.'
“Have you seen my Romeo and Juliet?” she asked her two friends. Ron and Harry shook their heads.
"We haven't seen any of your novels," Ron replied, looking in horror at the pile of books in front of her.
"I have to put it somewhere. Oh, and it's not a novel, Ron," said Hermione, looking through the pile of books on the table.
In the eyes of the two friends, Hermione looked quite chaotic. In fact, she has been busy since the school term started. That's because Hermione was the school's student body president. She had to patrol the area and perform various duties more than anyone else. She had to sleep late and wake up earlier than everyone else.
Hermione took nine classes. And have to study by yourself. She is also studying hard for the B.B.A. exam that will be held in the next seven months.
“Do you know the truth? You should probably borrow the watch to turn back time again. "Hermione," Harry suggested, seeing that the girl had barely had time to eat or sleep, but Hermione suddenly stopped.
“What time is it?” she said loudly, causing both friends to startle.
"Twenty-thirty," Ron replied.
“Oh my gosh, I forgot to meet Professor McGonagall!” she blurted and hurriedly stormed out of the common room. Ron and Harry looked at her confused before meeting each other's eyes.
"You really should take some time off," Ron said to Harry.
Hermione walked down the corridor in a hurry. Professor McGonagall had arranged to meet with her to discuss the dance party at 8:00 p.m. And now she was making the teacher wait. The girl stopped at the door to the teacher's office and opened it. The first thing that Hermione saw was Malfoy. He was sitting in a chair in front of Professor McGonagall's desk.
“Sit down, Miss Granger. You're a little late,” Professor McGonagall warned her sharply.
"Sorry," said Hermione. He pulled out the chair next to Malfoy and sat down.
Professor McGonagall gave important duties to the two student council presidents and told them the details about the dance party. She said the headmaster had hired dancing skeletons, bats and a mummy from Egypt to put on the show. Professor Dumbledore didn't forget to invite all the ghosts of Hogwarts to join the party.
But the ghosts refused because he had to go to the Almost Headless Nick's death party on the same day (it looks like Nick won't invite the Headless Warriors to the party this year), so Dumbledore offered. Nikma organized the event together with the school party. He promised to announce to all students how important this day was for the Gryffindor house ghosts.
After business was over, Professor McGonagall let the two children go back to their dormitories. Hermione walked out onto the balcony with Malfoy. She had hardly spoken to him since the incident on the train except when working together. And Malfoy himself hadn't come to trouble her and her two friends since the start of term.
"Why do I have to do this stupid job?" Malfoy complained as he walked with Hermione.
“It's not a stupid job, Malfoy. But it's a bonding event for students from different countries,” explained Hermione. young boy shaking his shoulder
"Who cares? I don't want to start that stupid relationship," he said nonchalantly.
“But you have to do it. Don't forget, you're the student council president!” Hermione warned.
"Oh, you must be very happy that the teacher organized this event," said Malfoy.
"You're going to dress up and dance with some stupid guy who doesn't know the guy he's dancing with is a Mudblood!" Malfoy said, making Hermione's face turn red with anger.
"Don't be nice but everyone else is a Malfoy!" she said in a green voice. But the young man didn't listen.
“But I think it would be good for you to dress up as a princess. And let Potty and Weasel be your bodyguards, right, Muggle princess?" Malfoy said as if it was a bit of fun. Hermione glared at him angrily.
“Then why don't you tell your sweet mother Pansy to dress up as a banshee? I think it suits her just fine." Hermione retorted. Malfoy had a puzzled expression on his face.
"What are you talking about, Granger?" he asked.
“You heard that, Malfoy. I told you to go tell your beloved Mother Pansy that…”
"Who told you that Pansy was my sweetheart?" Malfoy asked curiously.
"And isn't it?" Hermione retorted.
“No, Pansy isn't my sweetheart. Where did you get this from, Granger?” Malfoy laughed at the girl's comment. Hermione felt humiliated. But she tried to act calm.
“Even so. It has nothing to do with me,” she said to cover up her embarrassment. and was about to walk away from him. But Malfoy held her arm first.
“Where are you going in such a hurry?” he said. Hermione flapped her arms.
“Let me go!” she cried. “Aren't you afraid your body will get covered in mud?” she sarcastically said.
"Oh... that's right, how could I forget?" Malfoy said teasingly. and let go of your hand
“You...!” cried Hermione.
"I don't think you really want to go anywhere yet," Malfoy said.
“Of course I want to go. Go anywhere far from you!” she shouted. Malfoy faked a pained expression.
“If you do that Then you probably don't need this anymore,” he said, holding up Hermione's Romeo and Juliet book. The book she forgot on the train in the president's car!
“This is my book, give it back!” she cried, about to snatch it from his hand. But Malfoy refused to give it back to her. He held the book high above his head.
“Is that yours?” he asked.
"That's right. Give it back, Malfoy. I need it to do some work for the teacher," said Hermione.
“It must be very important,” he said, considering the book. “Then I can't give it back to you.”
“Sir!” cried Hermione.
She shouldn't have told Malfoy that it was something important. Of course it's important. Because it is a book that is not available in the library. Hermione bought it from her local bookstore. Hermione had to use it to write a report for her teacher on classic Muggle literature. Because she did not attend school, she had to work instead. And without it, she couldn't do that job.
“What should I do? What should I do?” he said, pretending to think. Hermione blushed.
“Give it back to me, Malfoy. Otherwise, I will sue the teacher,” she hissed.
“Then I could throw it away right away,” he said. “But you wouldn't want me to, would you?” he said, giving the upper hand.
“What do you want me to do?” Hermione asked helplessly. Malfoy raised an eyebrow.
“Please, Granger, please. Then I'll give the book back to you," Malfoy continued.
"Please give me the book back, Malfoy," he hissed, imitating her voice. Hermione was furious.
“No way!” she replied firmly.
"Very well then," Malfoy said, turning towards the balcony. Then he threw the book away with all his might. Hermione's book floated out over the grounds before falling into the bushes.
"Mr! Why did you throw it away?!” Hermione shouted in shock.
“Well, you wouldn't say it yourself,” he said, not bothered by the look of shock on the girl's face. But Hermione looked at him with hate in her eyes for the first time. Malfoy was stunned for a moment.
“You are the most disgusting person. You deliberately teased me. You are evil!” She cursed him loudly before running down the stairs.
"Where are you going, Granger?" Malfoy shouted, but the girl didn't listen. She leapt down the stairs into the field below before he could catch her.
Hermione returned to the dormitory moments later, disappointed. She went down to find a book in the dark. But she couldn't find it at all. She didn't even know where it had landed in the bush. After Harry and Ron saw her return with leaves in her hair and clothes, The two questioned her about the incident. Of course, this time she told them both exactly what Malfoy had done.
“You pervert, I'm going to deal with him!” Ron cried, ready to storm out of the common room.
“No Ron, calm down!” Harry warned, holding him back before turning to address Hermione.
"Why don't you just use your wand to summon it?" Harry asked, one hand keeping hold of Ron's cloak. Don't let him bother Malfoy.
“I forgot to take it from the dorm,” she said sadly. “And I need to use it to do a report on Harry. I might not have passed this course if I hadn't gotten it back. You also know that I didn't go to school.”
"You've got to find it, Hermione. Shall we go help you find it tomorrow?" Harry said soothingly. Hermione smiled and felt extremely grateful to him.
But the next day, the three of them didn't have to search for Hermione's book any longer. Because in the morning when the owl mail comes to deliver One of the school's owls dropped a parcel into Hermione's lap. And when she opened it she found that it was her book that Malfoy had thrown away.
"Who sent this?" said Hermione happily. A note fell from the book.
I can keep your book. And I thought you'd want it back. Please take good care of it.
“Whose note is it?” Harry asked, and Hermione shook her head.
“Unsigned,” she said as she looked up from the notepad. Her eyes met Malfoy's gaze from the Slytherin table. But it wasn't long before the youth pretended to look away.
Hermione assumed that whoever had picked up her book and returned it to her must have known where it had fallen. Because no one would have accidentally found a book in the bushes during the night she lost it. And besides, he also had to know who owned it, which was the only person who was like that. Malfoy isn't. thought Hermione.
There's no way it could be him. There's no way.
The Halloween dance party is approaching. The students only talked about this work. Female students often only talk about their outfits. And there are many people who still can't find a dress to wear to an event. Just like Hermione
“I heard that the costume rental shop at Hogsmeade has run out of costumes for students to rent. And other tailor shops are taking orders so they can barely keep up,” Lavender said to Parvati at the morning table.
“So what are you going to dress like?” Parvati asked. Lavender shook her head.
“I don't know, but my mother told me to dress up as a mermaid. Because we already have a dress at home,” she replied.
"And you, Hermione, what are you going to dress like?" Ron asked her again.
"I don't know," said Hermione as she finished reading Romeo and Juliet for the third time.
“But you must know. It's almost time for the big day!” cried Ron, even though he didn't know what to dress himself as yet.
“Well, I really don't know, Ron. I haven't thought about that yet. And if you don't mind, please stop bothering me for a moment!” Hermione gasped before slamming the book shut in frustration. After a moment, the girl put the things in her bag and slung the strap of her bag over her shoulder.
“I have rune lessons in the morning. See you later,” she said and walked out of the hall. Ron and Harry looked at each other confusedly.
"I think you're going to write this into a book," said Ron, munching on bacon.
Several days later, Hermione still couldn't find an outfit for the event. And she didn't put in much effort to find it. Because she has other things to do. She has a lot of homework to do. At the same time, she was persistent in studying for the B.B.A. exam and taking lectures.
Ron starts teasing her about her turning into a walking book. Meanwhile, Hermione lost her temper at everyone who annoyed her.
until Sunday morning A week before the event, a few owls carried a package the size of several large books and handed it to Hermione.
“Did you order another book to read?” Ron asked, looking in amazement at the package that probably held a couple of giant Transfiguration books.
“I didn't order it,” she said confusedly and picked up the note on the box to look at.
Don't open it at the dining table.
I am the person who sent you the book last time. This time I want you to repay me. By wearing the clothes I sent and meeting me at the venue at 8:00 p.m.
"Who sent this?" Ron asked curiously.
"Nothing," Hermione said hurriedly. She clutched the parcel into her arms and stood up from the table.
“Are you full? "Hermione?" Harry asked.
“Uh, meet me in the common room,” she said to her two friends and headed back to the room.
Hermione returned to her dormitory and went to open the package there. When she unwrapped it, she was stunned to see what it was. It was an evening gown that made her marvel at its beauty. and the lightness of the fabric It was the most beautiful evening gown she had ever seen. It was a pink strapless dress with built-in ruffles.
And it was decorated with tiny beads and crystals that reflected light. There is a pink mask. And one of the crown jewels is attached to the outfit.
“Wow, your dress is beautiful,” Lavender said as she entered the room. “I bet it must be an event outfit.”
"Yes, that's wonderful, Hermione. You'll be a princess at the event, you know that," Parvati said, caressing her dress admiringly. “Where did you get this dress made?” she asked. Hermione was silent.
“I...ordered it from a local shop. And then I asked my mom to send it to me by post.” She lied because she didn't want anyone to know about the mysterious person who sent her the dress.
"You must be the prettiest at the event, Hermione. Trust me," Lavender said.
“What are you going to dress up as, Draco?” Pansy asked him as they were working on a report in the library.
“I don't know,” he replied simply, returning his attention to the piece of paper in front of him.
“Then let's dress up as something together, shall we? Like..." Pansy started to say. Malfoy looked annoyed. He is getting up from the table.
"Wait, Draco, wait," Pansy cried, following him. It was the same time as Hermione. Just walked past. She and Malfoy looked at each other for a moment before Hermione looked away.
"Draco, what's up, Grandma Mudblood?" she greeted Hermione. and hugged Malfoy's arm affectionately The girl looked at the two and forced a smile.
“Hi Pansy. Are you trying to act like a leech?” Hermione retorted, causing Pansy to flinch.
"Are you me or Grandma Mudblood?!" Pansy shouted, pointing at Hermione.
“Probably like that. I speak as I see it,” she said simply as Pansy began to scream.
“You, you poor blood!” Pansy said as Malfoy rolled his eyes in annoyance.
“Be careful with your words, Pansy. Don't let others be surprised by the low words that come out of the mouth of a noble like you. Or is it something you're used to?” Hermione retorted.
Pansy froze before letting out a loud scream. She tried to curse Hermione. And she almost succeeded. If it weren't for Madam Pince coming in and dragging Pansy to warn her about her inappropriate behavior first. She also threw Hermione and Malfoy out of the library almost immediately. And now the two of them were standing in front of the library, just the two of them.
Hermione looked at Malfoy, displeased that she had also been kicked out of the library.
"What are you going to dress like, Granger?" Malfoy asked casually.
"That's my business, Malfoy," Hermione replied.
"So I'm guessing you're going to dress up like a princess?" Hermione looked at him in surprise. How did he know that she had received a princess dress?
"Mudblood Princess," Malfoy continued. Hermione froze. face is red
“If your special ability is to look down on others, then I'd rather put it away and use it away from me." Hermione retorted angrily. Before she could face him and slam her feet away, Malfoy looked at her and sighed.
“If you really agree to dress up as a princess. I would like to be a prince.”
Finally arrived the day of the event. The hall was decorated with Hagrid's giant pumpkin and many live bats. The hall was filled with people dressed in fancy clothes. Almost all the ghosts of Hogwarts came to the party. Even the brooding Mysterl who appeared from the fountain at the venue nearly shocked the students to death.
Peeves, the poster boy, causes chaos at the event by smearing cakes on students' faces. Spilled wine on the floor Steal the masks of attendees and hang them from the chandelier. And Peeves would have caused endless chaos if the Bloody Baron hadn't intervened first.
On the day of the event, Hermione decided to wear a dress that she had received from a mysterious young man. This time, she didn't straighten her hair like before. But she styled her hair so it didn't look frizzy. Instead, she had beautiful curls and trinkets attached to them. And when she wore a mask, almost no one would recognize her.
The girl decided to meet the man who sent her the dress on the day of the event as he had told her. The reason was because she wanted to thank him for the book. And besides, she wanted to know who he was. Even though the way he asked her to go to his event was a bit strange. But Hermione really liked the outfit he sent her.
She felt like a real princess.
“Hermione Is that you?!” Lavender cried when she saw the young girl dressed and ready to go to the party.
“You really are very beautiful,” Parvati said, beginning to survey her surroundings. “Did you have a date with someone?” she teased.
"Not at all," Hermione denied. “You guys are pretty too, let's go.”
"Yes, princess," Lavender teased, bowing her head low. Hermione laughed.
“Come on,” she said.
“I guarantee that all the men will go crazy because of you,” Parvati assured. And they all walked out of the dormitory together.
Hermione breaks up with Lavender and Parvati at the entrance to the event, claiming that she arranged to meet Ron and Harry here. But she had told her two friends earlier that she would meet them at the event.
The front of the event was beautifully decorated with a pumpkin arch made by Hagrid. and the Egyptian mummy stationed at the entrance. Hermione noticed Parvati trembling as she had to walk past it. It will reach out and frighten people passing by. And there were also school armor that stood on duty at the work site.
The girl tried to look for the person she had arranged to meet, but she couldn't find anyone.
Maybe he hasn't come yet. Hermione thought so and tried to find the person who said that. He hadn't told her how he would dress. She didn't dare go in and ask the boy standing there if he was the one who had sent her the dress. In fact, she shouldn't have come here at all. It might just be someone's worst joke.
Hermione waited for a while but no one came to greet her. The girl was about to turn around and walk into the venue. But she bumped into a young man who was walking past.
"Sorry," said Hermione.
“It's all right,” she noticed that he was a young man wearing British royal clothing. and wore a large feather mask. A mask like hers, only his was blue.
“Are you.....?”
“Oh, yes, I am the one who set you up,” he replied.
"So you were the one who sent the book back to me?" asked Hermione.
"yes"
“Thank you, sir. How did you find it?” she asked. He looked stunned.
“Uh, I found it in the bushes,” he replied.
“So, what did you find in there?” she asked.
"Well, I think we should go inside," he offered, holding out his hand for Hermione to shake. The girl nodded and walked into the venue with him.
Above the Creation ceiling Swarms of live bats were flying above and around the hall. The room had no light except for a candle placed in the mouth of a carved pumpkin. They were placed around the event and at every dining room table, a round table small enough to seat only three or four people.
In the middle of the hall was a dance floor. And there was the biggest pumpkin that Hermione had ever seen in the middle of the ceremony. Next to the gold plate was a life-sized graveyard cake with a message wishing the anniversary of Nearly Headless Nick's death engraved on it. A food and drink table sits in the corner of the room. Hermione tried to look for her friends, but the dim lights at the event and the fancy dress made it difficult for her to make out who was who.
The young man led Hermione to the drinks table. and ordered two drinks
"Why did you send me this?" asked Hermione. and sip drinks
“Because I can see you want it,” he replied, smiling slyly.
“Oh, do you know that I still can't find a dress?” she asked.
“I'm just guessing,” he waved his hand holding the drink.
“So who are you? You know so much about me,” she said, narrowing her eyes suspiciously. He looked thoughtful.
“Isn't there a rule at this event that you can't reveal your true identity until midnight?” he said in a good mood.
“Is it because of the rules or because you're trying to hide it?” she asked.
“Both, maybe. Why are you doubting me? Why don't you think I'm just someone who found your book and picked it up? Then wanted to return it to the owner,” he said.
“And I want to make an appointment to meet her. Without letting her know who you are, right?” Hermione protested. “How do you know that book is mine?”
“Because I saw your name there,” he replied.
“So, you secretly opened it too,” she said.
“If I don't open it How do I know who I should return it to?” he asked. Hermione smiled at him.
“And have you read it?” she asked, taking a sip of her drink.
“Read, I have read it, it is a truly wonderful novel,” he replied.
“You are the one who said it was fiction. It's not a waste. But my friend Ron thought so too,” she said absently. He narrowed his eyes.
"Weasley?"
“Do you know Ron?” she said. “Oh, but you must know him. Because we are at the same school,” she said.
“Yes,” he replied, his hand gripping the glass and beginning to squeeze it.
“Is something wrong?” Hermione asked.
“Oh, no,” he denied and raised his glass to take a sip. “I have finished reading that book. Before I give it back to you, I don't mind." Hermione shook her head.
“No, actually I have already finished reading it. It's just that I need to report it to the teacher." Hermione said and began to swirl the glass in her hand. "I was shocked when Malfoy threw it off the balcony. It was Draco Malfoy, he was in Slytherin," she said.
“Are you really shocked? And are you angry at him?” the young man asked.
“Angry,” she replied honestly, “but that's normal for a Malfoy. He likes to find things to tease me about. He was probably happy to see me in trouble. He despises mudbloods like me.”
"And you hate him?" the young man asked. Hermione looked thoughtful.
"I wouldn't mind him if he didn't do things, if he didn't come looking for us first," replied Hermione. The young man swallowed and raised his glass to take another sip.
"What if I were him?" he asked, causing Hermione to have a shocked expression on her face. But it changed to be funny.
“You can't be him. You're much more polite than him,” said Hermione. “If you really were him, you wouldn't be sitting here talking to me like this,” she laughed.
“What if Malfoy were to sit down and talk to you like this? Would you be surprised?” he asked. Hermione thought about it.
“It must be very surprising. Do you have something special about him?” she asked in a mischievous tone. young man shrugs
“No,” he replied. “Do you know what I want to say?”
“What?” asked Hermione. The young man called out to her, leaning his head close to him.
"I want to dance with you, okay?" he asked, and he took Hermione's hand and kissed it lightly. The girl felt goosebumps.
“Yes, you're welcome,” she replied. The young man stood up and held out his hand for her to shake.
“Come on, ma’am,” he said, and together they walked onto the dance floor.
Another side of the work Harry was sitting with Ron at a table. Harry was dressed as an ancient Egyptian soldier. while Ron dressed as a mummy They both rejected Dean Thomas' suggestion that one of them dress up as Cleopatra. And one person dressed as Juliet Caesar, while Dean dressed as Blade the vampire slayer from the movie Blade, and Seamus
Finnigan dresses up as Count Dracula.
Parvati and Lavender joined the Gryffindor children later. Parvati dresses up as a zombie bride with long fangs. She wore a blood-stained wedding dress. Lavender dresses up as a mermaid. She wore a floor-length green skirt.
"Hi, Parvati," Ron said, raising his arms high and intending to trick her. Parvati hit him.
"I'm not funny, Ron," she said, clutching her chest.
“Have you seen Hermione?” Harry asked as he held his heavy shield in his hands.
"Hermione said that the two of you had an appointment here," Lavender said. Harry and Ron looked puzzled.
"She didn't make an appointment for us," Ron said, equally bewildered. Meanwhile, Harry grudgingly turned to greet Little Quivey who was dressed as him. Colin and Denise both wore Hogwarts uniforms. and drew paint in the shape of a lightning bolt on his forehead. Including holding a broom and wearing round glasses, just like him.
"I take it you're not too happy, are you?" Ron whispered.
“Not at all,” Harry said firmly.
"So where is Hermione?" Ron asked curiously, then turned to Parvati and asked. “What are you wearing?” Parvati and Lavender smiled.
“You have to see for yourself, Ron. It's really amazing,” she replied, laughing.
At that moment, Hermione was dancing with a young man she didn't know who was in the center of the floor. Even though she looked a bit embarrassed But the girl admitted that the young man she was dancing with was quite good. Plus, he led Hermione through the transitions and steps brilliantly.
“I forgot to ask. What are you wearing?” said Hermione.
“Guess,” he replied, smiling mischievously.
"You look like a soldier," Hermione replied looking at his outfit. “What kind of English soldier is that?”
"And what do you think you're dressed as?" he asked, making Hermione frown.
“As far as I know, I dress as a woman,” she replied.
“If you dress as a woman I'm dressed as a man," he said. Hermione smiled.
“Can't you answer my question directly?” she said. The young man looked thoughtful.
"Alright, then I'll say the dress I sent you is a princess's dress," he replied. "And guess what I'm going to dress like?" Hermione pretended to think. She smiled.
“A prince?” said Hermione. The young man smiled at her in response. The two stood out in the middle of the floor until Lavender noticed her. Because she remembered Hermione's outfit.
"That's Hermione," Lavender said. and pointed it out to the rest of her friends, who all looked at her in disbelief. Ron gasped.
“Who are you dancing with?” Ron said, his eyes fixed on the floor.
"I don't know. She said she didn't have an appointment with anyone," Parvati said, frowning. But she was sure it was Hermione.
“Maybe you met him at the event. "Hermione is dressed so beautifully that someone would probably want to dance," Harry said reasonably. But Ron looked angry.
“But how can you dance with someone you don't know?” he said.
“But he could be someone we know. Don't forget he's at the same school as us,” Harry warned, but Ron didn't seem to listen to him.
"I'm going to go find Hermione," was all he said and he hurriedly left the table.
Hermione was dancing happily when Ron suddenly appeared.
"Hermione," he called, and the girl turned around.
"Ron…" she moaned confusedly and began examining his clothes. "You're dressed as a mummy?" she said. Ron scowled.
“I came to follow you back to the table,” he said, nodding to the table where he and his friends sat.
"But this song isn't finished yet," she said, but Ron wasn't listening.
"There's no reason to dance with someone you don't know," Ron shot her partner a disapproving look.
“Why do you say this, Ron? He's at the same school as us," said Hermione. Ron pulled her away from the floor.
“But do you know who it is?” he asked.
"I don't know," she said. Ron looked like, 'That's it! ’
“But Dumbledore organized this event to help us connect the houses. And the teacher forbade us to reveal our true identities before midnight,” she said reasonably.
“But what if the guy you were dancing with was a Slytherin? He's our enemy," he argued. Hermione frowned.
"He's not a Slytherin, Ron. He's much more polite than them," she said.
"Did he tell you where he lived?" Ron protested. "I bet he's tricking you." Hermione was impatient.
“Listen Ron, when I dance with him I don't care which house he belongs to. I didn't think about that at all. I just want to get to know him. And I don't think it would hurt anything. But if you think it's something wrong I can't help it!” said Hermione angrily.
before shaking her head at him and storming back to the floor again. with her dancing partner waiting there
"Is there a problem?" he asked, and Hermione shook her head.
"Not at all..." she replied, looking at Ron who was looking in their direction.
"Do you mind if I want to go outside?" said Hermione. young man nods
“Sure, let's go,” he said, taking her hand and walking out of the event. Meanwhile, Ron followed them in displeasure.
Hermione and her dance partner walked out onto the grass. The two of them sat down on the grass and looked out at the pitch black lake. Before looking up at the velvet sky, where thousands of stars adorned it like gems.
"The sky is beautiful," said Hermione. Look up at the stars
"Yes, beautiful, but not as good as you know," the young man said. Hermione looked at him.
“Don't joke with me,” she said, but her face turned pink.
“I'm not joking. You look really beautiful tonight,” he said, and he raised his hand to gently caress her cheek. Hermione was slightly startled, but she didn't deny it.
The girl's heart skipped a beat as he brought his face closer to her. The music from the party whispered like a whisper, and a cool breeze blew from the lake. The young man in front of him looked at her with meaningful eyes before deciding to press his lips to hers.
It was a kiss as soft and gentle as Hermione felt. But she later turned away. The young man looked at her incomprehensibly.
"Sorry, I...." she said.
“I am the one who must apologize. Was that your first kiss?” he asked.
"Uh..." Hermione thought to herself. The image of Malfoy kissing her on the train popped into his mind. young girl biting her lip
“Yes, it was my first real kiss,” she replied. The young man looked at her suspiciously but didn't ask anything.
“Then I'm sorry,” the young man said.
“It's okay,” she replied, feeling awkward. She didn't think it was right that she was kissing someone she didn't even know who he was. But in another part of her heart she wanted him to do that.
A cool breeze blew past the two children. above in the sky Many stars were shining with silver light. The young man stretched out his arms and fell on the grass. He supported his head with both arms.
"Lie down so you can see the sky more clearly," he said. Hermione lay down in fear.
“Don't be afraid,” he said smiling and showing her the constellations.
"Why did you invite me to the party?" asked Hermione.
“Why do you ask that?” he said.
“I want to know,” she said honestly. He sighed deeply before looking up at the sky.
"I invited you to the prom for the same reason that many guys wanted to invite you, just like Krum invited you to the prom in fourth year," he said.
"Do you even know about Victor?" Hermione was stunned.
"Of course everyone who likes Quidditch knows about him," he replied.
"But I still don't know who you are," Hermione said honestly.
"You'll find out soon enough," he replied. "But until then, you still want to talk to me like this or not," the young man replied simply. Hermione frowned.
“What do you mean?” she asked. He waved his hand.
“Never mind that, do you see that constellation?” he said, pointing at the sky.
Hermione woke up to the sound of a clock ticking. The girl was sleepy and slowly sat up. When she looked to the side, she saw a young man sleeping on the grass. His head was supported by both hands.
Is it already midnight? She thought and took off her mask to rub her eyes. She looked at the figure next to her and realized something.
until midnight We will allow you to take off your mask.
Hermione heard the clock tick again until twelve more times had passed. Bright lights shone from the party and loud cheers followed. Along with loud chatter It's truly midnight and now it's time to take off the mask and reveal the real you.
She looked at the young man beside him who was sleeping happily. Hermione approached him. The thin lips looked strangely familiar as she saw them clearly because of the light shining from the work. The girl slowly reached out and unwrapped his mask, very curious to know who he was.
Who took her book back? Who sent her this beautiful dress? And who gave you that romantic kiss tonight?
Hermione gently removed the mask from his sleeping face. She held her breath in excitement before deciding to pull it out. But when his face came into view Her expression changed to one of shock.
Because it was Draco Malfoy's face!
For a moment, Hermione felt as if she were Cinderella and dancing with the prince. She has a romantic evening with a mysterious young man who she can't wait to find out who he is. But at this point, all she knew was that She was just a stupid woman who was tricked.
Malfoy began to regain consciousness. He blinked against the light and slowly forgot it as he saw the image of Hermione taking off her mask. His expression changed to one of shock.
"Granger," Malfoy muttered, feeling his face. and found that he was not wearing a mask either
“This is your true face!” said Hermione angrily. He threw the mask in his hand at him and stood up from the ground. Malfoy quickly got up to follow.
“Wait a minute, Granger. Listen to me," Malfoy said as Hermione trudged towards the castle.
“It must have been fun to trick me. I must be your laughing stock, right?” she said angrily, tears welling in her eyes. Malfoy held her arm.
“That's not the case at all. Please listen to me Granger, please,” he said, trying to hold the girl back. But she wouldn't listen.
“There is nothing more to talk about. I won't be a fool for you to fool me again. Release me, Malfoy!” She said loudly as if it was an ultimatum. Hermione jerked her arm out of his grip and ran up the castle steps.
The young girl immediately went back to the dormitory. She met Harry and Ron in the common room.
“Where have you been? "Hermione?" Harry asked.
“Probably with your dancing partner,” said Ron. “So you already know who he is, right?”
Hermione didn't answer. She pursed her lips tightly to prevent tears from flowing.
“What's wrong with you? "Hermione?" Harry asked. The girl shook her head and wiped away tears.
“Anyway, is it like I said? So where does he live? Is that a Slytherin?” Ron hissed in displeasure. Harry looked at him fiercely.
"Shut up, Ron." He turned to Hermione. "what happened "Hermione?" Harry asked, the girl bit her lip tightly. I feel the most pressure. But after a moment, she raised her head and forced a smile.
“Nothing, Harry. Thank you for your concern." She said reluctantly, then walked up to the dormitory.
Hermione walked up to the dormitory with a sad expression. The girl tried to wipe away the tears that were falling down her face. For a moment, she thought she was falling in love. with a gentle man But at a later time That feeling disappeared in the blink of an eye. Hermione flopped down on the bed, ignoring Parvati's calls. She closed her eyes and wished that what had happened was just a dream.
For the next several days, Hermione and Malfoy hardly spoke to each other. In fact, Malfoy tried to find opportunities to talk to her. But the problem was that Hermione was flanked by Harry and Ron everywhere she went, and it would be very difficult to talk to her with both of them present.
Until one week has passed since the event. Malfoy was still trying to find a way to explain to Hermione what had happened. He sent her several letters. But she refused to open and read even one copy.
Until one night when Hermione had to patrol the area as part of her duty. As the girl was inspecting the third floor, a mysterious hand suddenly covered her mouth from behind and dragged her into an empty classroom.
Hermione struggled. Until she saw the face of the person who was hurting her.
“Malfoy!” she muttered, “What are you doing?”
"I just want to talk to you," Malfoy said. "I want to explain what happened."
“There is nothing to explain. I'm going back to the dormitory," she said in a stern voice. But Malfoy stood back and blocked the door.
“Stay back, Malfoy!” she said, and he shook his head.
"I won't let you go until you listen to me," Malfoy said, causing Hermione to look annoyed. She drew her wand.
“If you don't back off, I'll curse you,” she threatened, but he didn't dodge her at all. He didn't even look afraid. Hermione pointed her wand at Malfoy's neck. But he was unfazed.
"You can curse me, but please, just listen to me," he said. Hermione looked at him confused. Finally, she lowered her wand.
“You can say whatever you want,” she said, “but let me tell you, just because I listen to you doesn't mean I believe you.”
"As long as you listen," Malfoy said, beginning to explain the whole matter.
“First of all, I want to apologize to you for deceiving you. But I don't intend to do that. I just want to invite you to an event. But if she knew it was me, she wouldn't have gone,” Malfoy started.
“That day, the day I kissed her on the train, when she slapped me, I felt guilty. But I let it go and didn't apologize to her. Until I found the book you dropped. I kept it and thought I'd give it back. But when I saw her face, I ended up saying bad things to her. At that time, I thought of teasing her a little bit.
But when I saw her go down to pick up the book So I know it's very important to you. And I felt guilty again,” he said. Hermione's lips curled into a thin line.
“When she went back to the dormitory, So I used a summoning spell to summon it and handed it back to her. After that I started thinking that it would be great if she went to the event with me. And I heard that you haven't prepared any clothes yet. So I sent the dress to her. And I hope you like it and wear it to see me.”
“When the event day arrives I'm so glad you agreed to come. She looked very beautiful in the outfit I chose. And I was very happy to go to the event with her. But part of me was worried that she would know who I was. I'm afraid it's midnight. I want time to stop there when we're together. Because I'm afraid that when she finds out who I really am, she'll be angry at me.
And it really is,” he said sadly. Hermione looked at him confused. She didn't think that someone like Draco Malfoy would talk to her about this.
“That's all I want to say. But I want you to know that I never meant to hurt you or trick you,” Malfoy said firmly. Hermione looked at him incomprehensibly.
“Then why do you have to do all this for me, Malfoy?” she asked. Malfoy pursed his lips.
"Because I think I love you, Granger," he confessed, to which Hermione looked shocked.
"So this is one of your lies?" said Hermione. Malfoy shook his head.
“No,” he said. She looked at him thoughtfully and closed her eyes.
“Then When you were with me at work When I still didn't know who you were Was everything you did back then fake?” she asked.
“Do you think I'm faking it?” he asked.
"I just want to know," Hermione replied.
“I didn't pretend to do anything that day. I was just following my feelings,” Malfoy told her.
“Including the kiss?” she asked.
"Everything, Granger."
“Then the truth is, you didn't mean to trick me, right?” she said with a smile.
“Yes,” Malfoy replied. “Do you understand me now?” he asked.
"Not really," Hermione replied.
"So, how do you feel about me now?" Malfoy asked again.
“Actually, I like it better when you're my dance partner. But knowing that you were the same person couldn't help it,” she said softly.
"Then you've grown to like me, Granger," he said.
"I just like one side of you," Hermione argued.
"Same thing," Malfoy said, pulling the girl into a hug. "Sorry for stealing your first kiss," Malfoy told her, and Hermione pursed her lips.
“Then you must be angry. If I say I want to steal another kiss from you,” Malfoy said with a mischievous smile. Hermione fought the urge to get out of his arms. But Malfoy wouldn't let her out.
Malfoy brought his face closer to hers. As the girl closed her eyes
"Malfoy…" Hermione said as her lips and his were about to touch.
“What?” he asked, looking a little shocked.
"Do you love me like that?" Hermione asked innocently.
“I already told you,” he said.
"Even though you know we're enemies," she protested. Malfoy frowned.
“Let's just ignore that. The people who are my enemies are Potter and Weasley, not you,” he said.
“However, we are on different sides. I am a Gryffindor She is a Slytherin I am a mudblood She is pure blood. We're enemies..." Hermione said. Malfoy raised his hand to stop him.
"Can't you talk about that?" he asked, causing Hermione to look worried.
"It's impossible, Malfoy," she said softly.
“It's possible, I love you,” he said firmly. Hermione looked surprised.
"You love me even though....even though you know that I..." Hermione stammered.
"And you think I don't know about you being a Mudblood?" Malfoy said, a little annoyed. Hermione smiled.
“I know, but you know very well that this is wrong. Our bloodline,” she began to speak again. Malfoy looked genuinely annoyed this time.
“Stop talking about those things, Granger. It's not relevant at all. It's just that I love you," he said. Hermione smiled lightly and rested her head on Malfoy's chest.
“Then we'll be like Romeo and Juliet,” she said absently. “Meeting at a dance party, making love knowing it wasn't right,” she said.
"Oh, that story," Malfoy just realized.
"You've read it, right? Oh, and it's not a novel, Malfoy," Hermione warned.
“Whatever it is, whatever. Our beginning will be the same as in that book. But after all, this is our life. You are you, not Juliet. And I'm not some fucking Romeo,' Malfoy said angrily.
"So our ending must be different from theirs," smiled Hermione.
"How strange to hear you say that," said Hermione. Malfoy raised an eyebrow.
"Strange? What if I change to something else?" he said, and Hermione's face turned pink. And when the girl closed her eyes Malfoy pressed her lips against his as gently as possible.
The two had a happy time together, neither of them knowing what to expect in the days ahead.
After the event that day Without anyone knowing, Hermione and Malfoy's love developed silently. They meet in various places throughout the school, and although they pretend to be enemies in front of each other, in reality they have a secret love affair that no one knows about.
Hermione and Malfoy were spending some time alone in the President's Hall. None other than the two of them were student council presidents. For a while they were happy to be together. But part of her was the fear that one day she would be separated from the man she loved. Because as the days went by, the more she understood that his story and hers were just as impossible as she found herself loving him more and more every day.
Plus the news about Lord Voldemort becoming more and more powerful. The Death Eaters returned to serving their masters. Including many more people who volunteered to serve him. Day by day the situation became more and more tense.
As such, Harry, Ron, and Hermione use their little time to form a new Defense Against the Dark Arts club. This time they had Dumbledore's support. And there is no need to hide and practice anymore. Harry volunteers to practice various defensive spells with the members, while giving himself a chance to review the knowledge himself.
After passing the B.B.A. exam well (for Hermione), Ron and Harry were confident that he would pass the exam. Until their last day at Hogwarts. The three children walked around the castle, taking in the atmosphere of Hogwarts one last time before leaving.
And after the end-of-school party, Harry, Ron, and Hermione They sat and talked quietly in the common room.
"I think I'll be an Auror after this is over," Harry said firmly. "And of course I will join the Order as soon as I'm of age." Ron and Hermione looked at each other.
"But that's dangerous, Harry," said Hermione coyly.
"I think you'd better wait until you become an Auror," the girl advised.
"But I'm not going to sit idly by while everyone else comes to my defense," Harry said loudly.
“I will join the Order to help Dumbledore. Don't forget that Voldemort killed my parents.” Ron winced when Harry said Voldemort's name.
“We know that, Harry,” he said. “And don't say that name.”
"Perhaps you guys don't want to take that risk," Harry said simply.
"Who said that?" Ron immediately snapped. Harry turned to look at him.
"If you go, then we go, Harry," said Hermione. “Aren't we friends?”
“Yes, besides, almost all of my family are members of the Order. If I wasn't too I don't know what the brothers will say," Ron said cheerfully. Harry looked at his two friends gratefully.
“Thank you guys very much.”
After Harry and Ron had gone up to their dormitories Hermione then sneaks out to the president's dormitory to see Malfoy one last night.
"Will you be an Auror or Granger?" Malfoy asked after Hermione told him. They were the two of them in Malfoy's bedroom. Hermione nodded slowly.
"I bet you're joining some kind of order, aren't you?" Malfoy said. Hermione looked shocked.
"Do you know about the Order, Malfoy?" asked Hermione.
“I know a lot from Father,” he replied nonchalantly.
"And you're not the only one who knows what to expect after graduation!" Malfoy said angrily. He slammed his fist on the table. Hermione looked at him in shock.
“What's wrong with you, Malfoy?!” asked Hermione. He refused to answer. The girl noticed a piece of paper on his desk. She picked it up and looked at it without Malfoy having time to stop her.
young girl reads it She felt shocked to say the least.
I'll let you join the Death Eaters after you graduate. There are no words at all. As for the day you must attend our ceremony, I will tell you later.
"God," said Hermione in shock. She let the paper slip out of her hand. “This means”
“I have to become a Death Eater. As for you, you're going to be an Auror." Malfoy gritted his teeth. He looked tormented by a truth that was difficult to accept.
"You...can't deny it?" Hermione said through tears.
“I can't refuse Father's orders, you know that!” he said, a look of pain on his face. Hermione felt the same way.
"And you can't say no to becoming an Auror," Malfoy said knowingly. Hermione knew she could say no and not pursue this career. But she couldn't betray her best friends like Harry and Ron. She really couldn't do that.
Hermione sat down on the bed next to Malfoy and embraced him. She herself felt as sorry as he did. The two's sorrow was too much to be distilled into words. But it showed in the tears that flowed from Hermione's eyes.
"I love you, Malfoy," she said, sobbing softly.
"I love you too, Granger," he said, hugging the girl tightly. Hermione fell on his chest and cried out. She really didn't know what to make of this. Malfoy had to become a Death Eater while she was about to join the Order and was going to take the Auror exam with Harry and Ron.
Why does the world have to play tricks on you like this? And this doesn't even include the fact that she had to leave him after graduating from Hogwarts.
Hermione sobbed uncontrollably. Malfoy rubbed her head comfortingly.
"Don't be sad, Granger," he soothed, but at the same time the boy felt just as distressed as she did.
"I'm afraid, Malfoy, I'm afraid," sobbed Hermione. “I'm afraid you'll have to leave me. The whole time we were together I was afraid this day would come. And you still have to become a Death Eater.”
"But I still love you, don't I?" Malfoy said, reaching out and gently wiping away her tears.
"But do you know how fierce the war between Death Eaters and Aurors is these days?" said Hermione. “There are Death Eaters arrested every day. Or get killed by an Auror. I'm afraid, Malfoy, I'm afraid that you'll..."
“But there were quite a few Aurors killed. And you think you only care about me?” said Malfoy.
"Don't worry, Granger. I won't die easily, and neither will you."
"And if we, we have to..." Hermione faltered. Malfoy knew exactly what she was going to say.
“If we have to face each other I will never hurt you, I promise,” he said firmly. Hermione buried her face in his chest again. and hugged the boy tightly as if she was afraid he would melt into thin air.
"Why do the two of us have to go through this when we really just love each other?" Hermione said suddenly.
“Even though I just love you. But we have to be enemies. We need to be separated,” she cried out.
"Even though I only love you," Malfoy looked at her pitifully.
"Hush, Hermione," he said her name for the first time and gently wiped away her tears with his lips.
"But we're leaving now, Malfoy. This is our last night together," she said.
"It won't be the last night," he said, giving the girl a meaningful look.
"Malfoy"
"Call Draco," he said and picked up a strand of her hair and kissed it. "I want you to stay here with me, Hermione, for the rest of the night." The girl looked up into Malfoy's eyes.
Hermione knew exactly what Malfoy wanted to tell her. But she didn't resist. Hermione let things go as she wished. Malfoy rested her body on his bed and kissed her tears soothingly. before the lights in the entire room went out.
The best thing about tonight's that we're not fighting
Could it be that we have been this way before
I know you don't think that I am trying
I know you're wearing thin down to the core
But hold your breathe
Because tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you
Over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
You're impossible to find
This is not what I intended
I always swore to you I'd never fall apart
You always thought that I was stronger
I may have failed but I have loved you from the start
Oh, But hold your breathe
Because tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you
Over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
It's impossible
So breathe in so deep
Breathe me in
I'm yours to keep
And hold on to your words
Cause talk is cheap
And remember me tonight
When you're asleep
Because tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you
Over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
Tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you
Over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
You're impossible to find
Hermione woke up the next morning. She found Malfoy asleep. And the girl knew she shouldn't have woken him up. She looked sadly at the body of the young man she loved. It's finally morning. Finally, the time for both of them to say goodbye had arrived. Hermione still remembered what Malfoy had said to her last night.
Hermione was lying in Malfoy's bare arms. He kissed her forehead softly and lovingly.
“I'm afraid, Draco. Afraid that when tomorrow comes We must leave,” said Hermione.
“Don't be afraid,” Draco hugged her gently. “No matter what tomorrow brings, I will still love you,” he said firmly.
"I love you too," said Hermione.
“And even if the next day Who will you meet? Or will you love someone else? But the fact that you are mine will never be erased,” he said.
“I will never love anyone but you. And I will never belong to anyone else, Draco,” she said.
“I, too, will never love anyone. You will be the only woman I love. From now on and forever No matter what happens.”
Hermione felt tears welling up in her eyes again in sadness. From now on, she must go out into the outside world. To face the harsh truth that She and he weren't just enemies at school. Or they don't get along because of little things. But when she steps out of here, she and Draco Malfoy
will become permanent enemies Enemies that must be killed on one side
Hermione bent down and kissed Malfoy softly in farewell, her tears staining the sleeping boy's pale cheeks. Before she got up, dressed and left the room.
No matter what happens I will still love you, Draco.
And then the two of them went fully into the world of magic. With a love that cannot be told to anyone Even though they don't know what will happen today or in the days to come, they don't know how their love story will end. But they knew only one thing.
That is, no matter what happens They will still love each other unchanged.
