BRAVE
A warrior girl with a girl's heart. A girl with a great heart.
In an era filled with dark magic
A princess wants to change her life with a spell.
But that change...causes her mother and her family to be cursed.
It all began on the princess's birthday when she was young. The King and Queen held a birthday party by camping in the forest. The king gave the first bow as a gift to the princess. While the family was enjoying their happiness, a dark shadow suddenly sneaked towards the king. It rose to a height of more than four meters, blocking the sunlight.
His body smelled like a corpse. It was an enormous male bear. Its back was full of swords, spears, and arrows from the warriors who had defeated it. The ferocious bear roared like lightning and attacked the camp.
“Mordu!” The King shouted the name of the bear demon. Dozens of soldiers rushed over and attacked the bear. But one blow can knock down an entire group of people. The queen rushed over and picked up her little daughter and quickly fled from the camp. All that was left were the screams of the princess and the king as they commanded their swords to fight the demon bear Mordu.
Many years have passed The little princess grows up to be Princess Merida, as brave as the King. Merida's father, King Fergus, becomes the one-legged king. A battle with Mordu cost him a leg, and Merida is now an older sister to three mischievous triplets. Merida's life is full of palace rules...
The princess must sit with a straight back. A princess must be elegant and beautiful. The princess must be able to speak royal decrees in front of the people. The princess must do that. The princess must do this. Merida is tired of listening to orders from her mother. The perfect Queen Eleanor Mom hopes Merida will be like her. Elegant and flawlessly perfect
But sometimes Merida just wants to have her own life. So she runs off to practice archery in the forest every morning. She is a skilled warrior. Whether it's horse riding, fencing, and most importantly, she's never second to anyone in archery. Perhaps she was the best archer in the kingdom.
And then one day After Merida returned from her adventure at Racha Waterfall. She is very tired and hungry. The princess walked into the dining room, where Father was telling the twins the story of the battle between himself and the demon Mordu. Dad had told this story so many times that she and her brother were sick of it.
But she never got tired of listening. It's a great legend. Someday you will be like your father. But soon her mother interrupted. The queen proudly said
“The three foreign lords will bring their sons to beg for their children soon. I want you to prepare well.”
But when those words were finished, Merida was very angry. She shouted loudly in displeasure. Then the angry princess stormed up to her room. She never thought this day would come. She still doesn't want to marry someone she doesn't know. But mother never listened to her. She wants to be free. And I want my mother to listen to her.
But then the queen came into the princess room with a chess set. Merida knew immediately. Mom is coming to teach you a lesson. And she was extremely bored. Queen Eleanor placed the chessboard on four pieces. which made the whole thing look like an awkward table. Then she began telling the legend to her daughter.
“A long time ago There is a kingdom that is better to live in. There were four princes in this city. People live in peace. Until one day, the eldest prince thought of changing his own destiny by becoming king. He is separated from his three siblings. and used a force equivalent to ten of his men to seize the castle. Finally
This ancient empire has collapsed.”
When the story was finished, the queen pulled out one of the pieces that was the base of the chessboard. A chessboard that was comparable to an entire kingdom collapsed because it was missing one of its supporting pieces. Merida laughed at us and told her it was just a legend.
“Legend is history. And we learn from history,” the queen said in a dignified manner. But the princess chose not to get married anyway. It's such an irrational thought. The princess wouldn't understand if Queen Eleanor rejected the three lords. There might be a war between the kingdoms for the princess.
When the queen was young She too had been married off to the princess's father. At first she didn't like it. But if she has to do it for the kingdom and its people, she will do it no matter what. But Merida probably won't get into it. At least the queen wants the princess to...listen.
The next morning, the three lords sailed across the sea and arrived at the king's kingdom. Merida's father The queen woke Merida early in the morning to dress the princess in a silk gown. Merida's mother looked exhausted as she spent the night preparing dresses and knitting family curtains as her daughter's wedding present.
It was the most chaotic day of Merida's life. The throne room had people running around. The kitchen smells of smoke. When everything is prepared The sound of bagpipes echoed throughout the castle. The gates opened and a procession of each city lord entered the palace. When the music is quiet The first lord then introduced his people's son.
His son was large but always spoke in an unintelligible dialect. As for the second lord's son He is handsome as a prince, but he is boastful. As for the son of the last lord, he was as small as a chicken and was always distraught. Merida insists that she will never marry such a person. Then you have to find a way.
Merida tried to think of a way out. But then the queen announced:
“I would like to thank all the lords who attended today's ceremony. According to tradition, the eldest son of every city lord has the right to receive the princess. We will have to organize a competition. By letting the princess choose the type of competition...”
“Shoot an arrow!” Merida jumped up. The people in the palace turned to look at her wide-eyed. Merida quieted her voice and said in the dignified manner her mother had taught her, “I chose the archery competition.”
At the end of the ceremony The procession then proceeded to the meadow behind the kingdom. to start the competition The three lord's sons took their places. People cheered loudly in excitement. Both the King and Queen seemed excited about the competition. Without anyone knowing that this was all the mischievous princess's plan. Merida is the eldest child of the leader of this kingdom.
She therefore had the full right to compete if she could defeat the sons of the three lords. She won't have to marry anyone. Even though it's against tradition But it was her last resort.
The competition began, the first lord's son shot out an arrow. But the arrow didn't hit the target. The second lord's boastful son walked in and shot an arrow, but he missed again. The last lord's distraught son He stood still and aimed for a long time. It had been so long that Merida's father couldn't stand it. He stood up irritably and ordered the Young Rooster Prince to shoot.
The little prince was startled and his arrow hit the target...he won. Suddenly, Merida walked into the arena with her beloved bow. Everyone's eyes were on her. The queen too... now she knows that Merida is going to ruin the wedding. She immediately stood up and went towards her daughter, but it was too late.
Merida shot an arrow at the first target and then at the second target. But the third goal made her worried. But then the princess shot an arrow. The razor-sharp arrow pierced the little prince's arrow sharply. That was the moment the Queen reached her evil daughter.
Her mother brought her into the room and began to scold her harshly for embarrassing the three lords. She is the one who started the war because of her own selfish views. Merida couldn't help listening so she yelled back.
“Mother thinks she is the owner of everyone's life. Mother never cared about how I felt. Because my mother kept ordering me, because she never understood my feelings. All of this happened because my mother is my demon.” His voice trailed off. Merida picked up her sword and slashed it down at the family curtain that her mother had made all for her.
The sword cut the image of her mother and herself apart. The queen was shocked, she never thought that her real daughter would do this. She rushed in and snatched the bow from Merida and threw it into the fireplace. Merida felt like her heart was about to break. She sobbed and ran out of the room. The queen finally realized what she had done. She hurriedly grabbed a charcoal pick and took the bow out of the fire.
It was so hot that she couldn't pick it up. She felt very sorry. But it was too late to follow her daughter.
On the other side, a sad Merida rides her beloved horse into the forest. She cried heavily on the back of her favorite horse, but the horse suddenly stopped running. Merida was curious and looked around. She was in a field of ten meter tall giant rocks arranged in a circle. This place is filled with magic and mystical powers, causing her friend's horse to become eerie.
A thick mist enveloped the place like a cemetery. Without the sound of birds and wildlife But then a ball of spirit fire blazed up from the ground. Merida isn't afraid of it. A is more suspicious. So she and the horse followed him into the dark forest.
The fireball led Merida to a hut in the middle of the forest. It was a place she had never seen before. So she decided to go look inside. The wooden hut was filled with carved wood. Most of the works include bears, bear tables, bear cutting boards, even pencils are shaped like bears. Merida began to become suspicious of this mysterious hut.
But when she turned around, she saw an old grandmother. She offers to sell her carvings to the princess. But Merida doesn't care, she refuses to buy anything. But then dozens of knives rushed towards her terrifyingly. Then she realized that this old grandmother was actually a witch. So she bought out the entire hut and took her family necklace instead of the first money and a spell...
Spell to change her mother The old witch took the necklace and immediately went to the large cauldron. While she was making medicine She told the princess that
“There once was a prince who asked to use magic to change his life. He was as big and strong as ten people. Plus you're handsome too, Mom. And he gave me the family necklace in the shape of an ax in return.”
Then suddenly a light flashed from the pot. It turned out to be a piece of cake. Merida took it and quickly rode her favorite horse back to the castle. When she returned, her mother came out to greet her with concern. Her mother was very upset because she thought she had disappeared. Merida comforts her mother and gives her a cake.
The queen was very proud. She thought that her daughter had made her a cake. So she ate one small bite. Soon she felt something unusual. She felt like she was about to get sick. So she had her daughter lead herself up to the room.
Before going up to the room, she had to walk through the throne room. It's very chaotic there. The three lords were quarreling over their marriage and it seemed like a small war was about to happen. The queen and princess had to quietly escape to the room. Upon entering the queen's bedroom, Merida laid her on the bed.
Mother's expression grew worse and worse. But the princess knew that this was the result of magic. So she wasn't worried.
“Mother, have you decided to cancel my wedding yet?” the princess asked happily.
“What? Merida, nothing will be cancelled. Hey, what did you give me to eat? Here you are,” the queen said with difficulty. I haven't finished speaking yet. She rolled off the bed. Merida suddenly felt hot. She was afraid that her mother would find out that she had given her a cake from a strange witch. But there was something strange. The queen's body lay motionless on the floor of the room.
Merida then slowly walked over to see...was her mother dead? But soon Queen Eleanor's body rose, but not in human form. Instead, it turned into a three meter tall carnivore with long, sharp claws. Merida screamed out.
"bear!"
The queen has now turned into a bear. Merida then confesses that she made her mother eat the witch's cake. But she didn't intend it to be like this. Before anything else, she had to get her mother out of the castle before her father saw her. Her father held a grudge against the demon Mordu who ate his leg. He will kill every bear he sees.
Dad would definitely kill Mom if he saw her right now. Merida then leads her mother out of the castle with the help of her three twin brothers. Merida then gives the children some snacks from the kitchen as gifts. Unbeknownst to her, her younger sibling was about to eat the witch's cake left in the kitchen. because she forgot to put it away
Merida and her mother headed towards the witch's hut. But when I arrived at the hut Inside, it looked as empty as an abandoned hut. Merida didn't know what to do. By chance, she caused some magic in the hut to work. Smoke was billowing from the pot in the middle of the hut. And the witch's face appeared and she spoke hoarsely about the princess:
“If the princess is dissatisfied with the results of the spell Solve this mystery. ‘Reconnect the broken ties.’ But if He cannot do it within two days, This magic will last…forever.”
Merida really didn't know. And now it's very dark. So she built a small shack for her mother bear to live in. She returned to the castle to get a new bow. But in the meantime it had rained. So she hurried back to her mother. On a thunderstorm night Mother will sing you a lullaby. No matter how loud the sky is The sweetness of the song will drive fear away from you every time.
But from now on, you won't be able to hear that sound anymore. Merida thought about it and couldn't accept it. What did you do?
The next morning when Merida woke up She found that Mother Bear had prepared breakfast for her. But the food was all inedible. So she took the mother bear to the stream to fish. Even though the queen is a bear, she still doesn't lose her grace. She can't even catch fish like a bear. Merida has to teach her mother to fish.
But when he finished catching the fish and ate until he was satisfied, The mother bear walked into the forest without paying attention to her daughter. This made Merida happy. So she followed the mother bear without realizing it. The deeper you walk into the leaves in the forest Merida felt even more frustrated. So she called her mother. But it wasn't as expected. The mother bear turned to threaten her daughter and stood up until she was as tall as the sky, looking at Merida with bloodthirsty eyes.
The princess felt indescribably afraid. Ursa raised its paw and was ready to tear the princess into pieces. But before something like that happened The queen woke up from her trance. She looked at her daughter fearfully. It was as if he didn't know what he was about to do.
“Mommy really looks like a bear,” Merida said. “Mommy is turning into a bear...from the inside.”
With that said, a spirit fireball emerged from the ground. Mother Bear knew that if she followed the fireball, she might find a way to turn herself human again. She ran after the bright fireball, feeling helpless and frightened. Merida then came to stop her mother. and led her mother to follow the fireball. The queen and princess walked towards the north through a forest filled with thick fog.
Merida felt her way like a blind person. And finally, the guiding light disappeared. But it brought them to a stop in front of an abandoned castle. Merida didn't understand what Fireball wanted to tell her. She surveyed the walkway.
But suddenly! The ancient stone floor beneath Merida's feet collapsed. The princess fell with a thud. Mother Bear cried out in shock. But Merida shouted and said she was safe. Make mama bear calm down a bit.
The princess looked up at the mother bear. She only had to climb back up to get out of here. Curious to know Merida looked around. And she realized that she had fallen into the hall of an abandoned castle. In the center of the room was the family crest engraved with an axe. She recognized this ax symbol.
It was the picture the witch showed her. It was as if a battle had taken place in this hall. Merida walked over and looked at the sculptures of four men. But the stone slab was cut out at the fourth man in the sculpture. Like the tear in my mother's curtains And then Merida figured it out.
“This is the ancient kingdom that mother once told me about. It really exists. The witch said that the eldest prince once asked for magic from her. To ask to change him.” Merida was silent. She stepped on something. So she looked down at the ground and was almost taken aback. The ground was strewn with corpses and skeletons. Mordu suddenly appeared from the darkness with a death roar.
Merida grabbed her bow and fired at it. But the arrows hardly irritated the oily skin at all. The princess ran to the hole where she had fallen and jumped towards the mother bear. with the Scottish devil Mordu leaping after him.
The two mothers and children quickly ran out of the ancient kingdom. In the end, the evil bear didn't follow her. Merida has solved the mystery. You must reconnect the bonds that were torn by... Sew torn curtains Then her mother would return to normal. But if she doesn't, her mother will become like Mordu. When he reached his father's castle
Both mother and daughter were unable to enter. because there were soldiers guarding the castle Mother Bear took her inside the castle through the sewers. After walking for a moment, mother and son appeared in the kitchen. But she had to walk through the throne room to get to the bedroom to sew curtains. But when Merida entered the auditorium, her heart almost sank.
The three lords and her father were setting up a fortress and fighting with each other in tension. This was all because she and the queen disappeared. Merida gathered her courage and walked into the middle of the battlefield. She tried to persuade the elders. But no one listened to her.
“Quiet!!!” Merida shouted angrily. Then the noise in the throne room became as quiet as a cemetery. Merida then used her mother's teaching of public speaking skills and spoke with the elegance of a queen:
“A long time ago There was an ancient kingdom. Just because the brothers were separated Instead, it caused the entire empire to collapse.”
“It's just a legend,” one lord said.
“Legend is history. And we learn from history,” Merida said. “All of this happened because of my selfish opinion. But the Queen made me learn. Regarding responsibility and listening, the Queen has a message for the three Lords: We should keep an open mind. Let your child choose to love.
in order to follow the path and listen to each other's hearts To choose your own true lover.”
When he finished speaking, the three lords agreed. All returned to harmony as before. Merida took the opportunity to invite the soldiers and Lord to the liquor room. It wasn't long before she was able to get the mama bear safely up to her bedroom. Mother Bear was proud of her daughter who was able to calm the battle because of her wisdom. But then something unexpected happened, the bear's soaring nature took over her.
Mother Bear walked around the room mindlessly. At the same time the king walked up. When Merida's father saw the bear, he thought it was an evil bear. He immediately rushed to attack it. But with just one slap from the mother bear, the father was thrown away. Then my mother woke up from her trance. Mother decided to escape the castle before she hurt anyone else.
“Father, that bear is the queen,” Merida cried. But father didn't listen to her. The King locked her in a room and took the key to the nurse to keep. Merida tried to break through the door but she couldn't. Then she figured it out. The princess shouted to the three little twin boys. Without waiting long, the three little princes in the bodies of bear cubs appeared. Merida was shocked at first.
But soon she ordered the younger siblings to go get the key back. A naughty little brother tricks his nurse until he gets the key back to his sister. Merida immediately carried her three brothers with curtains, needles and thread and mounted them on horseback and followed the procession of the king and the bear hunter into the forest. A princess tries to sew curtains while riding a horse with three bears as lights to guide her in the dark.
on the other side The queen in the form of a giant bear is running away from the hounds and the king into the forest. But she was captured by three lords in the large stone field. She was tied to the ground by a thick rope, with no escape. Merida's father dismounted and raised his sword, preparing to take the bear's life. But then Merida came and took her trusty sword and knocked her father's sword away. Then she shouted,
“I will not allow my father to kill my mother. I will never let anyone touch my mother.”
But during the chaos A true demon emerges from the shadows. The demon Mordu leaped forward and attacked the entire army with ease. It came straight at the King and viciously slammed him away. Then it soared towards Merida. It was about to crush her to death in one blow. But then the mother bear shook herself off the rope and rushed to protect her daughter.
The bear fought fiercely with Mordu. But because it was smaller than the mother bear, it was more injured than the demon bear. She then slammed the ferocious bear into a ten meter high rock, causing the rock to move. But Mordu was not yet defeated. It walked towards the mother and child in distress, but then the moving rock toppled down and crushed Mordu alive. When it's all over
The eldest prince's soul was released from the demon's body. He thanked the mother and son and turned into a small ball of spirit fire, floating away in the darkness.
The first light of the second day shone on the horizon. Merida's mother is literally turning into a bear along with her brother. Merida rushed over and grabbed a curtain to cover her mother and siblings, silently praying that the curse would be effective. The sun finally peeked over the horizon. The princess' mother had turned into a bear. Merida has lost her mother. The princess began to cry and confessed.
“It was my fault. I was selfish. I'm sorry. Because I was unreasonable, my mother is like this. I'm sorry I didn't listen to you, mother. I want mother to come back because I love her.”
When her voice died, she hugged her mother one last time to feel the warmth of her mother and siblings. She couldn't imagine life after this. How can she go on without her mother? But now it's too late to fix it. Merida sobbed as her father comforted her beside her. But suddenly the mother's warm hand stroked her daughter's hair.
Merida looked up and saw that the queen was human again. She smiled through her tears and planted a kiss on her beloved child's face. So do her siblings. They returned to being the mischievous little children they were before. The King was overjoyed and hugged his beloved family. And then Merida and her brother lived in peace with the King and Queen forever.
