Hello all readers This is the first story written. I hope that after reading you will get some ideas from this short story. P.S. Some parts are taken from true stories in my own life. Another thing is that this story has already been made into a short film on YouTube (I directed it myself because I studied Communication Arts).
Anyway, try reading it as a short story first. If you just go watch it, it won't be fun ^^
A man was running slowly. In his right hand he held a white rose tightly. His other hand was a light pink card that was wrinkled and slightly wet. On the other side, people gradually left the theater. Many people say that it is one of the best dramas. But sadly there won't be any more.
The front of the theater was full of smiles. A woman holds a large bouquet of flowers. Many people went to talk to her and congratulate her. But she didn't look happy. It's like she's waiting for someone. Time passed until there was no one left at the theater. She sighed and was about to walk out of there. But then she saw a man running from far away and stopped in front of her.
The man didn't say a word. He only smiled at her and handed her a white rose along with a card. Angrily, she brushed the flowers and card away. and walked away from him The man hurriedly picked up the rose and card and followed her. He grabbed her wrist. With a smile at her again But she rejected him again.
She shook her hand absently. This time, after she shook her hand away A rose petal fell to the ground and the pink card became more wrinkled. Some letters began to disappear. But no one had time to notice. She continued to walk away from him all the way to the front of her house. He tried handing her the rose again.
This time, she brushed the white rose and it fell to the ground, and once again, several rose petals fell out and the card began to look strangely old. She entered the house and left the man standing alone. Even though it was late, she parted the curtains to see that the man was still standing. She was surprised to see him still standing in the same place even though it was pouring down rain.
The man stood in the rain holding the card and rose tightly as if they were precious items. She wondered why he would do that, although in her heart there was still some resentment. She began to think about whether she was too cruel to that man. The next morning she came out in front of the house but she didn't see him anymore. She looked around but couldn't find it.
She sighed again before walking towards the park. Where she regularly rehearses her roles with some feeling She began rehearsing for the show again, even though there were no more performances at the theater. Then she heard applause. She turned to look and saw the man standing there watching her perform.
What was noticed was that he didn't look well. But his face was smiling happily. In his hand he still had the rose and the card. He tried handing the card again to her. At first she acted like she didn't accept it. But with some feeling, she took it and opened it to read. The letters are very fuzzy. The only sentence she could read was "I'm sorry."
She started to calm down. She held his hand and said it was okay. As soon as she held his hand It was very cold and some images came into her head. It is a picture of a man being hit by a car while crossing the road. She saw him fall. His hand clenched the rose and card tightly and he slowly lost his breath. She began to understand what was going on and why he wasn't talking to her.
The man still smiled at her. She asks him why He raised his little finger. She immediately remembered that it was his promise to her that she would come see the play and that she would give her the white rose she liked after the performance. She understands everything Then she raised her little finger and related it to the man's finger. and said that he promised her that he would always be with her
The man pulled his finger back and shook his head lightly. Then he handed her a white rose. She knew that if she took it, this man would disappear. Instead, she pulled him into a hug and kept saying, “Don't go, please.” The man gently shook his head again. He tried to put flowers into her hand. And when the flowers arrive when you She hugged her tighter than before.
She is trying to create a miracle. And she heard a voice The man whispered softly in her ear. Thank you for waiting for me....Really thank you... After the sound ended The man slowly disappeared. Now she tried to hug him tighter than before and said, "Don't disappear, please." The man slowly pushed the woman away.
He looked at her face and smiled warmly at her. before he slowly faded away in front of her. The only two things remaining were the white rose and the light pink card in her hand.
No matter how much time has passed Even if the rose dies Even though the ink of the movie in the book on the card was so faint that it was impossible to read. She still kept it. Because it was the only thing that confirmed the man's identity. Even though it's not only in this world. But in your heart too
