SHORT FICTION
#THOMINHO
MINHO X THOMUS
What if we weren't stuck in a maze?
What if the world were happy and peaceful without flashes of fever?
Will it be possible? That we will meet as friends….
“Yes.” A whisper that was soft but full of firmness, as if showing stability to the listeners, resounded in Thomas's head.
“...!!” The young man woke up from his dream and found that he was no longer in that stupid maze. He was now on a white bed. The walls of the room are decorated with cream-colored wallpaper. The orange light bulb glowed dimly, as if someone wanted it not to disturb him while he was sleeping. Thomas turned to look at the curtained window...he was curious.
Or is this still a dream? Dream of living in peace Is that really possible? Is it really over?
The room was quiet...so quiet that Thomas could hear his own heart beating. If you open the curtains and find only the same maze as before If you open the curtains and find only a city in ruins What if he opened the curtain and found the lifeless body of his friend?!
“What is this about termites?” Thomas muttered to himself before shaking the crazy thought out of his head. Finally he reached the curtains. His bandaged hand reached towards the curtain, little by little… little by little…
“If it were me, I wouldn't open it.” At that moment, a loud voice rang out from behind Thomas, causing the young man to flinch. He immediately turned around and looked into your eyes with confusion. Startled, "Newt.." the young man called out the name of the person in front of him before rushing towards the other person immediately.
"Hey, don't walk in like we're going to kill each other," Newt said.
“As soon as I saw your face, I immediately thought about you,” Thomas said, relieved that at least he would not have found his friend dead outside if he opened the curtains.
“Does that mean you weren't worried about me in the past?” Newt joked before raising his eyebrows and stifling a laugh until he was shaking. Thomas was embarrassed that he had said something so bluntly. And now his face was probably as red as a gourd.
“Never mind.. but outside..” Thomas asked.
“Um...I don't know. I opened the curtain and saw my friend in the next room...not a beautiful view like I had imagined.. Plus, when I opened it, I found Frypan taking off his pants." Newt said with a confused expression. That made Thomas let out a soft laugh. At least his friends were safe…
“What about the roommate next to me? Who are you?” Thomas asked Newt. But what I got was a silent reply. Newt shrugged his shoulders off, saying he didn't know either. "You open it up and see if you find something good," Newt said before bursting into laughter.
Newt's voice trailed off and Thomas decided to walk towards his own curtains. In my heart I prayed that it would be Teresa. Because right now he himself is really worried about her as well…
All of a sudden!
The sound of the curtains opening sounded. Thomas looked around the room hoping to find Teresa. Or any of the Moors in this room. It was as if God heard a voice in Thomas' heart because suddenly the bathroom door opened. The young man opened his eyes wide.
“Minho!” Thomas called out the name of the person in front of him. An important friend who was a part of leading him and the villagers out of that stupid maze.
“Th..Thomas…? You're not dead yet?” Minho said with a smile on his face. Even though the greeting seemed a bit sarcastic, Minho's face was full of joy. He rushed over and hugged Thomas so tightly that Thomas' body almost fell to the side of Minho's room.
“You are insanely strong. Do you have any strength left from running?” Thomas said before pushing Minho's body away.
“I've been resting here for almost a week now. But I haven't done anything yet,” Minho said before making a disgusted face.
“Have I been asleep for that long?” Thomas said.
“We even thought you were dead. I still feel resentful towards Wicked for hurting you,” Minho said.
“It hurts us,” Thomas said before staring at Minho.
“What?” Minho said before staring back at Thomas, the two of them falling into a trance and silence. familiar face who have gone through heat and cold together in a maze Why do they miss each other so much?
“Uh..hey…are you guys having a staring contest? I think you two might have fallen in love,” Newt said, his voice laced with seriousness and teasing.
“Uh…” Thomas cleared his throat.
“Sorry, friend… but you should probably get something to eat, Father Thomas,” Minho teased before walking out the door. It was difficult for Newt to have to nudge Thomas to follow him. They walked out into the wide cafeteria. Many images of food caught Thomas's eye, causing his stomach to feel lighter. And it was open enough to stuff all this food in there.
But that still didn't ease his curiosity as to what exactly this place was. Is that a new experiment? If that's the case, can these foods be trusted?
“You can trust me, friend. I've eaten many meals. Still going strong,” Minho said into Thomas' ear as he patted his shoulder a few more times as if reading his mind. But if Minho said that then he trusted him...he was even sure that this person would never betray him.
Saaa…
The sound of one of the TVs came on and the whole cafeteria was completely silent. and turned to stare at the TV with the same eyes The TV screen gradually displayed the dark silhouette of a young woman who Thomas thought might be the founder of Wicked.
“Hi, I'm Ava Page. The founding president of Wicked…” came a voice from the shadows on the TV. The cheers of the people in the fields sounded louder. Some screeched and cursed. Some asked questions.
“Please stay calm...What we..Wicked will tell you today is... We have a gift to give to all of you who have sacrificed your bodies for us to study to fight the Fever virus.”
“It was more forced. Termites,” Minho cursed.
“...So we would like to give this in return.” The president's voice trailed off. The blackened windows of the cafeteria suddenly became brightly colored. It makes you see the view outside. And that made Thomas want to really pinch himself. The entire room was now filled with the cheers of the Moors. Some ran to the window.
“Prairie?...Prairie?” Minho said in a high-pitched voice.
"Oh...but it looks better in the maze..." Newt said.
"Hoy!!!! This is the real thing!!” The voice of a farmer came up when he saw a group of farmers leaving the room at some unknown time running in the grass, causing the farmers in the room to shout loudly.
“And please don't forget... Wicked is good.” The TV screen president's voice cut off.
“Good for ghosts,” Minho said. But Thomas noticed that his friend's face was much more relaxed.
“So what can we do with this grassland? I mean, there won't be any crazy walls surrounding this field with some new kind of maze that you came up with,” Newt said before turning to Thomas and grinning widely.
“Please stop talking about that. Even if I had, I probably wouldn't have done it,” Thomas said. Because his memory only consisted of one maze that he had just emerged from.
“I think we should go explore the fields,” Newt said, leading the two of them out towards the stairs. causing Thomas and Minho to helplessly follow along. When they reached the exit door, it was Minho who grabbed Thomas' hand.
“What are you doing?” Thomas said.
“You'll disappear again soon,” Minho said with an expression on his face. And he told the truth He didn't want this person to disappear to Wicked's liking again.
“Why are you holding hands like lovers?” Newt said.
“If this guy disappears again I'm probably going to have to go and kill all those termite Wickets in the building,” Minho said.
“But holding hands like this doesn't sound like a couple?” Newt said before laughing.
“What the fuck, you act like I'm interested,” Minho argued.
"I'm going to sue Teresa, Thomas," Newt said.
“That girl is probably with another team by now,” Minho said.
“Another team?” Thomas stumbled but still didn't let go of Minho. His face was full of awkwardness. Teresa abandoned us like that? In his head there was only this word.
“That girl isn't abandoning us. But there is another thing that you don't know. There are two mazes. So there was another all-female team. I think she's probably the leader of the group by now,” Minho said. Once again it was as if he could read Thomas's mind.
“Yes, I just hope Wicked brings you to this field too,” Newt said.
“I can't wait to get married and have children like normal people do,” Minho said.
“Even though you're holding a man's hand like a couple?” Newt teased.
“If it's Minho, I'm fine,” Thomas suddenly interrupted. Making Newt choke and hold back his laughter until he trembled. There was only Minho standing beside the young man. Once again, Thomas realized what he had just said. He himself wished it was a joke.
“What kind of joke are you playing?” Minho said.
“Sorry, isn't that funny?” Thomas said.
“Termites, you really are crazy,” Minho said before half-leading him. Dragging Thomas to explore the fields. And neither of them could deny that this was the best time as well. Thomas himself hardly thought of Teresa at all. Or maybe it was because he knew she was safe, I don't know.
“Um..but this field seems to have everything,” Newt said, looking at all the animals in the field. They were all animals that the Plains people could raise and eat.
“Unless it probably has dangerous things as well?” Thomas said before looking around like a questioning person. He looked...and looked...
“What the fuck is this place?!” Minho cursed.
“I think it might be a place. The luckiest That was definitely immune from that termite virus…” Newt said before looking down at the grass. And if he doesn't look wrong What he was holding was a rice plant. “At least there's some rice for us,” Newt repeated before walking off in another direction to tell the rest of the field. This part is a rice field.
“Minho..” Thomas said.
“Huh?”
“I'm not sure it's safe here…” Thomas said worriedly. He didn't want to lose another friend. Just Chuck, Gully, and Ben were more than enough...and that made Wicked so angry that he accidentally grabbed Mi's hand. Nho Jonnaen
“Hey..I don't know what you're mad about. But you're definitely squeezing my hand. If I guessed correctly, what are you thinking about me?” Minho said sweetly. Thomas sighed heavily before pulling his hand away.
“Hey! I was just kidding.”
“But I'm worried.” Thomas still had an uneasy expression on his face.
“What are you worried about, with me here, who will be Newt again? If we are there, those people must be safe. More importantly, I will definitely not leave you…” Minho walked in front of Thomas before speaking in a serious tone.
“You won't leave me?” Thomas repeated.
“Uh, I mean Newt as well, and the other farmers,” Minho said before walking awkwardly in the other direction. Instead, Thomas felt his heart beat strangely. He couldn't control his face...until the young man finally let out a smile. Every time he felt uncomfortable Minho always says things to make him feel good.
And make him see that things that seem difficult are really easy. And it was because of this part of Minho that Thomas really liked this person. He is the leader no matter what…
“Where are you going, Minho?” said Newt, who had just returned from telling the farmer good news, hugging Thomas' shoulder affectionately. Simultaneously, they turned left and right to find their leader.
"I don't know. I don't know where I'm walking shyly," Thomas said with a chuckle.
“Are you embarrassed? You guys are really lovers, right?” Newt loosened his arm around Thomas' shoulders before turning to look at the young man next to him with a startled expression.
“Hey, you're being serious,” Thomas said.
“Who knows? Anything can happen. The master who just entered the maze turned out to be the first person to kill Soka (Grever). Then it wouldn't be difficult for you to be Minho's boyfriend, my friend,” Newt laughed. There was one time where Thomas almost took Newt's words seriously. But he still felt that something wasn't right.
“Dammit, I was the one who captured that guy and tortured him in the maze. If that guy gets his memories, he might hate me to death,” Thomas said before glancing at Minho, who was walking through the tall grass back towards him.
"Don't let him get his memories back..." Newt said sharply.
"Hey…" Thomas turned to look at Newt's face.
“Just kidding,” Newt said with a loud laugh. Until Thomas couldn't help but be annoyed. But I couldn't help but be shocked as well, even though I had just been through a terrible situation, Newt acted like nothing had happened.
“What are you talking about? You guys look like you're having too much fun,” Minho said before using a large knife to chop up the overgrown grass. Then he would look up at Thomas and Newt.
“Gossip about me,” Newt said.
“If you're jealous of me, you should tell me honestly, Newt,” Minho said before cracking a smile. “Actually, come this way, I found something good,” Minho said before dragging Thomas and Newt to follow along with him. They half ran, half walked along the path that Minho had made. The closer he got to his destination, the more Thomas felt something… cold, while the closer he got…closer.
The sound of coldness suddenly became clear… Minho turned around towards the tall rock and carefully followed the crevices of the giant rocks before stopping and turning towards the source of the cold voice. It was the sound of a large waterfall flowing down a cliff. Some of the waterfalls hit the rocks and sparkled with a rainbow.
“Oh..a great discovery. I don't think the Wickeds have this left for us,” Newt said.
“Stop talking about those idiots. Wicked termites Just hearing that makes me angry.” Minho let out a smile on his lips before sighing deeply. He was the one who discovered that it wasn't Wicked at all.
“You didn't think you'd name it Minho Falls, did you?” Newt said.
“That's good,” Minho said before turning to pat Newt on the shoulder in thanks.
“What do you think? Thomas… Hey…” Minho said before poking Thomas in the arm with his thick fist.
“Ah...uh, what?” Thomas turned to Minho as a sharp pain spread across his arm. Minho's strength is starting to get too much, and Thomas starts having crazy ideas about sending Minho back into the maze again. But I thought it would be better...
“What's wrong with you? Did you sleep so blurry?” Minho said, and once again, Thomas didn't listen to Minho's question. Just because the waterfall is so beautiful It's so beautiful that I'd want to sleep here if I didn't catch a glimpse of the giant centipede on the side of the giant rock.
So much! Fizzy!
“Hey Minho, what are you doing?!” Thomas shouted as he found his body sitting in the water.
"You're not answering me," Minho said.
“Do you think there will be fish here?” Newt asked amid their argument.
“I think I caught one when I was pushed down,” Thomas said, holding up a fish with his right hand. And of course he prayed that it would be edible as well.
"cool!! Here, I'll take it to Frypan to make dinner for us,” Newt said before taking the fish that Thomas had thrown at him with a manly stomp and running away.
“That guy ran faster than he did in the maze. Damn it,” Minho said. He took off his shoes and sat down on a rock before slowly dipping his feet into the water. A coolness spread throughout his body and it made him feel refreshed and calm.
“You know…” Thomas said.
“Huh?” Minho replied before turning to look at Thomas who slowly rose from the water and sat on the rock across from him.
“I'm still not sure how long we'll live in peace. I don't know when the grief will come back out. Then he took us away again. Or when will you get stung by it…” Thomas said.
“Hey, but that time hasn't come yet, has it? Why are you worried, friend?” Minho said in a high-pitched voice. I thought to myself, since when did his friend become such a worrier?
“But I couldn't help but think about it. throughout the past week I only have nightmares. Dreamed that some of you had died. I dreamed that you, who got your memories back, hated me like crazy. I dreamed that all the people in the fields blamed this all on me.” Thomas let out all his feelings. His words were fast and furious like Minho had never seen before.
And why is Thomas' body trembling right now? He didn't know that the person in front of him was cold. Or are you afraid?
“It's going to be okay, Thomas. Trust me, I'm your friend. I'm not leaving you anywhere. The other villagers as well,” Minho said before rushing to embrace his friend. The thick hand that used to be used as a fist to tease the person in front of him when Thomas was absent-minded changed to a warm hand that rubbed and comforted him instead.
He never knew that Thomas could be this sensitive.
"Oh..." Thomas replied shortly. Before his body gradually stopped shaking, he suddenly felt a hot flush on his face. Why do you have to turn red now? Thomas mentally blamed himself. before coughing softly
“Sorry, I probably won't be able to hug you as much again, right?” Minho said.
“N...no..uh...I mean. Just a little,” Thomas said in a shaky voice. Why he felt so embarrassed, I don't know. Or maybe it's because hugging men is too clumsy?
“Oh, I'm sorry…” Minho said before falling silent. Once again, the two fell into silence. Minho glanced at Thomas who was throwing rocks on the water. The rays of the sun that were about to set over the edge of the second cliff fell on Thomas. He felt that this friend was very fragile. Until I had to protect him so he wouldn't be broken even more.
Don't let him feel betrayed or anything like that. He realized that he was only worried about Thomas.
“I think now…” Minho decided to start the conversation after they sat in silence for a long time.
“I have feelings for you...like..how..it's weird,” Minho said before tilting his head. It was as if he was talking to himself as he spoke. before looking up at Thomas
“Strange?...with me?” Thomas said, his face heating up again.
“Yes...it's like...when I'm with you...I don't want to go anywhere anymore,” Minho said seriously.
“N..Mr..what do you mean?”
“I think I...ch…”
"Why?" Thomas' heart pounded.
"I…"
"...." Thomas was silent, waiting for an answer.
“The broker is very red, Thomas. Let's go back to the gathering point of the Gladers. In case you get sick.” Minho immediately changed the subject before walking down the crevices of the giant rocks to return to the gathering point of the Gladers.
“Um...I guess so.” Once again, Thomas was tricked into believing by Minho. He must be really sick like Minho said. Thomas said to himself in his heart, even though he knew better than to suppress some feelings so they wouldn't grow in his heart any further.
“You don't have a fever. Plus, I don't see where my face is turning red." Winston said with a puzzled face. He tried to put his hand on Thomas' forehead again and again, but it was cold, as if he had just taken a dip in cold water.
“So… So I guess I'll be fine after walking back from the waterfall…” Thomas said before walking over and sitting down next to Newt. along with fish divided into skewers After they returned to the waterfall, the villagers all went to catch fish to eat for dinner, so now it was like a small barbecue party.
The main ingredient is fish.
"Hi….I'm a bit tired," Newt greeted Thomas as if they were meeting for the first time.
“Hmm… I remember the first day I arrived here. That day we sat in front of the maze. Right?” said Thomas. Newt nodded in agreement before looking away at the wide grass field.
“At that time I felt like I couldn't even get along with anyone…” Thomas said before turning to look in Newt's direction. He saw hundreds of fireflies floating around like little fairies.
“Especially with Minho,” Thomas confessed. Making Newt turn around and look at the other person.
“Why?”
"I don't know. With Gully, I still feel like he seemed easier to talk to than Minho back then." Thomas laughed softly. Before turning to sleep, he looked at Minho, who was observing to ensure safety for the people of the fields.
“But it seems like you guys are talking like snails right now,” Newt said, patting Thomas on the shoulder. “It's my turn to watch duty, please excuse me,” Newt said before walking towards Minho and whispering something to each other. Minho could only nod his head, his face tense. It was like he wanted Newt to rest a little longer. But he had to give in when Newt acted like he was scolding him.
Minho decided to walk over and sit down next to Thomas.
"how.."
“Why do you have to greet me like we haven't seen each other in a long time?” Minho said before sitting down fully.
“Excuse me, have you eaten anything yet?” Thomas said.
“Not yet. Is that the fish you caught?” Minho said before picking up the fish on his plate and eating it.
“Is it delicious?”
“This tastes good, worthy of the investment I put in pushing you down to catch it,” Minho said. The two spent most of their time relaxing and talking. Thomas was glad that he now had a good friend like Minho. A trusted friend and friends that he never thought would be this close A friend..that he had to try to repress that he was just a friend.
The conversation moved so quickly that Thomas felt sleepy. and fell asleep The fact that he had been sleeping for a week didn't make him feel like his body was recovering at all. Minho saw that his friend was asleep and brought a blanket to cover Thomas' body, who was curled up from the cold.
“Why don't you carry him into a nice place to sleep?” Newt turned to look at the building that stood tall in the middle of the grass. The building they had just walked out of this morning.
“You want me to hold this guy? Don't you think it's funny? Shouldn't we support each other on one side of him?" Minho argued, his face numb.
“Oh, sorry, friend, I'm on guard duty right now. Other people as well, please give it to me.”
“Hey, Newt, hey!” Minho shouted after Newt in a whisper, afraid of waking Thomas. He gritted his teeth in anger. before turning to look at Thomas' body curled up in the blankets. "Okay!" Minho said before counting. One to three in my heart and supporting Thomas' body.
“You're going to be relieved,” Minho said. But there was no response from Thomas. He half-carried Thomas until morning into the giant iron gates of a tall building in the middle of a field. There was the sound of the giant iron door closing. Minho slowly tried to scoop Thomas up into his arms.
“That's really weird, remember that, Newt!” Minho gritted his teeth before carefully carrying Thomas up the stairs, one step at a time.
"Doing what?!! Let me go!!” Thomas suddenly opened his eyes and screamed as he bounced himself from Minho's arms. His hand flew everywhere and missed Minho, causing the young man to lurch down the stairs and roll against the metal wall with a loud thud.
“Oi….What the hell is wrong with you!” Minho shouted before slowly feeling the back of his neck, which hurt sharply as if he had been hit.
“Hey.. Minho, I'm sorry. I think they came to take me again,” Thomas said before slowly walking over to Minho and helping his friend to his feet.
“You are too paranoid.”
"Minho..you're bleeding."
“Termites!!!” Minho cursed when he found that the hand he was using to feel him had blood on it.
“I'm sorry...really sorry.”
“Forget it,” Minho said before leading the way into the common room where they ate breakfast, hoping to find some medicine boxes. And this was the first time he felt grateful to Wicked.
“Looks like you guys still don't want me to die,” Minho muttered to himself before taking out the first aid kit. But a hand came and grabbed the box. “What else?” Minho said, looking at Thomas with a serious expression.
“I hurt you myself,” Thomas said before dragging Minho to his room. Before gently washing the wound, applying medicine, and setting the bandage in place.
“I hate termite headbands. It makes me look stupid…” Minho turned to look at the mirror that reflected himself with a stupid bandage wrapped around his head.
“It's better than letting all your blood flow out,” Thomas said. Minho furrowed his brow indisputably. “Thank you,” he thanked Thomas before letting out a soft sigh.
"So you can't just drag me up? You can wake me up. I don't see the need to do this," Thomas said.
"I don't want to disturb you," Minho said. “Forget it, Noy can just lie down and rest,” Minho said before walking into the bathroom to wash his blood-stained hands.
“It's okay, I'd rather not sleep. I think I'm going to take shifts with Newt," Thomas said. Meanwhile, he himself felt very weak as well. Because of the nightmares that haunt him It made him feel as if he hadn't even gotten a moment's rest.
“No, you need to sleep. It's Winston's turn so you should sleep,” Minho said before looking up from the bathroom.
"but.."
“But what?” Minho started to get annoyed.
“I feel like I didn't do anything,” Thomas said before getting up and leaving the room. Minho walked out of the bathroom and grabbed Thomas and put him on the bed.
“Sleep! Tomorrow you will have many things to do. Will I die if I just rest like this?” Minho gritted his teeth. He tried to suppress his anger. And he was angry because he was worried about Thomas, he wanted this friend to rest.
“Hey.. why are you so angry?”
“Shut your termite mouth. And go to sleep!” Minho said harshly.
“What the fuck is wrong with you? I'm not a child!" Thomas argued. He tried to get up from the bed, but Minho put his arm around him, preventing him from getting up. before pushing him down on the bed again.
“Or do you want to be a burden to your friends? You know very well what your body is like!” Minho began to raise his voice.
“I know myself very well. Why do you have to be involved?!”
“I'm warning you to shut up, Thomas,” Minho said, his voice impatient.
“Why would you, huh?”
“Thomas, go to sleep.”
"no"
“Thomas…”
“I…..!!!!!!” Before Thomas could say anything. His mouth was closed by Minho's lips. Thomas' head was completely blank, like everything was completely white. What should he do next? If only he could think, his body and feelings would automatically respond. Thomas closed his eyes and accepted the kiss.
His hand tentatively wrapped around the nape of Minho's neck. Before that kiss became more and more heated….
“Sleep, Thomas, I beg you.” Minho slowly pulled away from the kiss and whispered softly to Thomas. A tone he had just heard from Minho for the first time. Thomas nodded slowly before turning around, his face burning again. and a heart that beats faster than ever
“Very good,” Minho said, turning to look at Thomas, who had turned away on the other side. There were no questions from Thomas as to why he was like that. Which is a good thing. Because he himself doesn't have an answer either... Minho slowly walked out of the room just as Thomas heard Minho's footsteps slowly disappearing.
He seriously needed to rest now. Thomas decided to throw the previous incident away before sinking into an empty sleep...
Minho, who walked back to his room, felt a sharp pain in the back of his neck from Thomas' hug. But that didn't make him as suspicious as his previous actions. What does this mean? Why did he feel like he wanted to treat Thomas like a lover? Should he continue to deceive himself?
“Sigh…” Minho sighed. before laying down on his bed before falling asleep
“Minho, hey Minho..” Thomas' voice sounded into Minho's dark dreams. The young man frowned and turned over to shore, but Thomas' voice still echoed in his dreams. Soon, a sharp pain shot across the back of his neck. Until Minho opened his eyes.
"Hey...are you okay?" Thomas said.
“Um…” Minho slowly helped himself to his feet. before grabbing the blood-soaked bandage
“Looks like we need to change the bandage again. I'd better go get someone else to help. It seems like I didn't do it well enough..” Thomas said before slowly peeling off the bandage. But he was stopped when Minho grabbed the hand that was untying his bandage.
“Is there something wrong?”
“I want you to be the one to dress my wound,” Minho said. Thomas felt tickled by those words. But his face was also hot.
“Oh..Um..” Thomas said before slowly peeling off the bandage. This time the wound was full of clumsiness and nervousness. The more Thomas tried to forget about yesterday, But when he saw Minho's face about that day, it bothered him more and more.
“It looks like you bandaged the wound without giving me any medicine,” Minho said.
"Shit...I'm sorry," Thomas said before quickly fixing the bandage again.
“You're absent-minded,” Minho said.
"really? Just a little bit… I guess I slept too much,” Thomas said.
“Is it because of yesterday?” Minho said. Thomas paused before coughing softly, “Um..well.
Just a little,” he said as he slowly applied the medicine to Minho's wound.
“Did I make you uncomfortable?” Minho asked, his voice tense. Thomas didn't answer. His heart was in a great state of turmoil. If it's more than that, he'll probably vomit.
“What do you say?” Minho urged. “If you don't answer, I'll assume you're unhappy with what I'm doing,” Minho said before getting up and walking towards the direction where Thomas hadn't finished treating his wound.
“Wait, Minho, you haven't bandaged your wound yet,” Thomas tried to change the subject.
"It's okay. I'll just let Newt and Winston help," Minho said without looking at Thomas. I don't know why their hearts felt like they were being squeezed by a huge mountain. It was shocking and uncomfortable. Thomas looked at Minho's back as he slowly left the room. He doesn't want this. Not like this!
"I don't feel good!" Thomas said. Minho almost stopped walking immediately, his heart clenching even harder than before. He had already made Thomas uncomfortable. He couldn't stay beside Thomas like before. That was all that was running through Minho's head.
“But...” Thomas said.
“But what?” Minho turned around to face the truth from Thomas' mouth.
“It doesn't feel bad at all.” Thomas said truthfully.
“Does that mean we're on the same page?” Minho asked Thomas. The excitement of the confession in front of him completely forgot the pain in the back of his neck. Is his hope for a relationship more than friends a possibility?
“I still can't say anything,” Thomas said before looking up into Minho's eyes.
“But I never thought of hating you… I was even afraid that you would hate me,” Thomas said.
“I'm worried about you to the point of death. And what part of my feelings will I take? Or even what part of my heart hates you?” Minho said before walking towards Thomas. “I like you...and I hope you think so too,” Minho confessed honestly. He felt that no matter what, this time someone must be brave.
and he agreed to be that person Even if he is rejected, he will definitely not leave Thomas.
“.......” Thomas was still.
“I don't want to pressure you. But I really like you to the point of going crazy.”
"I…"
“So you can like me?”
"...." Thomas remained silent. Making Minho let out a big sigh. There's no hope, Minho thought.
“Um..I like you,” Thomas blurted out before smiling at Minho. At least now the two of them can find a way out of this maze of feelings. The maze that they had been wandering about for a long time. But now it was time for them to come out of the maze and into reality together again.
finish.
